Fence design in a construction site as a public design has an important role in the civil engineering field. It influences people's emotions by showing the harmony between human and nature, nature and construction, and construction and culture. Currently, fence design researches in China are simply personal artworks and the related researches are insufficient. Moreover they do not understand the interaction between the fence design and the building at all. The goal of this research is to identify the principle of design from the analysis of the famous cases related to the traditional fence design and to develop a fence design in Geological Palace Museum, Jilin University in China using the technique of augmented reality from the result. The result of this research reveals that people directly experience the process of the architecture. More artistic and cultural fence designs are expected to be extended in our daily lives.

This study is an analyze for Casa del Fascio, of Giuseppe Terragni, an important architect of fascism period of Italy. Based on the spot reinvestigation of first copies and unpublished data in a archive for a month of 2002. August, Terragni, Como, to compromise with the limit of studies up to the present. General's from early scheme to final constructed scheme, finally offered standard way to understand Terragni's scheme. Result of analyze are to two conclusions. 1) It has direct bearings between physical environment of site which was to build from original scheme and final decided external form. Especially there is direct relation between facade and composition of Duomo Cathedral, in the center of Como. 2) Although the image for scheme by architect represented as a physical form which was impossible to analyze the data as development sequence from archive, it influences on the first image, which had changed many times, exists as important element to final constructed scheme.

The aim on this thesis is to develop virtual construction designing experience web-site in order to help non-professional to predict the actual construction working result by self-construction design, provided by virtual reality program, sharing knowledge of architectural design and materials on internet to solve certain problems. The way of study is using case of virtual reality technology which is practically using in architecture era recently; in construction design, deducting realizable virtual reality technology of limitation and its solution; analyze case of construction designing program which is currently used by professionals; constitute required essential functions as UI(User Interface) when constructing. Followed by result of study, as a proposal, in service, technical, and UI sectors are the way to construct its objectives for internet based virtual construction experience web-site.

뉴미디어의 특성을 지니며 더욱 다양한 가능성과 관계를 열어나가게 된 오늘날의 현대 건축은 근대 이전의 구축적 양식 중심의 형식으로부터의 탈피, 디자인 분야의 심미적 발달, 자연 친화적인 관점으로의 발달, 그리고 무엇보다 인간 중심의 건축 발달 등으로 인해 구조, 실체와의 관련성 이외에 표면(surface)으로의 관심이 집중되면서 감상적인 공간 구조를 낳고 있다. 이는 표면이 공간적인 효과를 내는 표면을 통해 새로운 소통의 길이 열리게 되고 건축물 그 자체의 자율성을 표현하는 동시에 주변 컨텍스트에 동참하게 되므로 경계 영역으로서의 의미를 전달하는 인터페이스로 발전해 가고 있음을 시사한다. 또한 최근에는 더욱 적극적인 미디어 재료의 사용으로 건축의 표면이라기보다는 오히려 독립된 스크린으로써의 모습을 보여주고 있고, 그에 더해 다양한 미디어 아트 작업의 차용으로 표면의 스크린화는 더욱 진화하며 이전과는 또 다른 효과와 의미를 전달하고 있는데, 이는 공간 사용자의 능동적인 수용 형태를 인지하고 건축을 완성하는데 있어서 중요한 주체가 됨을 시사한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 건축 표면이 가진 인터페이스로서의 특성과 최근의 적극적인 미디어 재료 사용 및 미디어 아트 차용을 통한 다양하고 새로운 소통의 시도를 분석해 봄으로써 건축 표면이 가지는 더욱 넓은 범위에서의 가능성과 잠재력을 건축 그 자체가 가지는 특성 안에서 뿐만 아니라 수용자와의 상호관계 안에서 또한 연구해 보고자 하였다.

한 저명한 건축가이며 건축비평가는 건축의 결정적인 원리들은 Le Corbusier, Mies vander Rohe, Frank Lloyd Wright 이세 대가에 의해 규정지어졌다고 했다. 그는 덧붙이기를 하지만 개인적 영웅주의 시대는 지났다. 현 세대의 건축가가 직명하고 있는 문제 새로운 과학기술과 새로운 설계 개념을 이용하는 문제이다. Peter Blake는 10년 동안 건축분야에서 미국잡지계의 선두권을 가지고 있었던 Architectural Forum의 editor였으며 지금은 Forum과 통합이 된 Architectural Plus의 editor이다. 그는 실지로 건축을 하는 건축가이며, 한때는 뉴욕에 있는 현대미술박물관에서 건축과 산업디자인의 총지휘자였다. 그의 저서 ‘Master Builders'는 건축의 현대적 동향에 관한 대표저서중 하나로 널리 애호를 받아오고 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 건축프로젝트에 있어서 디자인분야 개선요소의 특성을 파악하는데 있다. 기존 연구에서 디자인요소 중 열여덟 개의 개선요소들이 정리되었으며 이러한 개선요소들을 중심으로 건설관계자들의 설문조사를 통하여 주요도를 결정하였다. 연구결과는 각 파트별 협조가 가장 큰 개선요소로서 나타났으며 경영개선의 리더십, 팀워크, 시공능력 순으로 나타났다. 또한 각 그룹별 공통적인 개선요소로서 설계사무소와 시공자와의 원활한 의사소통이 상위개선요소에 지적되었다. 디자인에 있어서 초기 공사와 완공 후 유지관리를 반영한 시공성에 중점을 둔 설계에 대한 관심도 크게 나타났다.

In the 21st century modem architecture, not only environmental problems and sustainable development but also two subjects, 'Globalization' and 'Localization', have become important issues. The modern application of vernacular design which is the design model including the characteristics of region, a people and tradition can be a solution for localization and sustainable development. Vernacular design gives many ideas in respect of organic art and design, the dilemma of modern architecture, and practical solution of its problems, and is considered as an important resource of modern ecological architecture. This study aims to investigate the meaning and types of vernacular design and confirm the development possibility of this design as the important element of modem regional ecological architecture. In addition, through case studies, it will demonstrate that the regional ecological architecture based on vernacular design can solve new multidimensional architectural problems in the 21st century.

국민 생활안전과 관련된 안전디자인에서 기본적으로는 안전성이 가장 중요한 요소가 되지만, 디자인의 고유 요소들도 아울러 고려하지 않으면 안 된다. 안전디자인은 산업디자인의 고유 특성과 인간공학과 안전 공학적 측면을 포함해야한다는 특성을 가지고 있다. 즉 안전디자인이란 제품 시설 공간 등에 설계 제조 건축 운영 등의 형태로 적용되어 주기능의 '안전' 달성도를 높이고, 타 기능과의 상승적 융합을 통해 사회 안전 수준을 향상시키는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 지금까지의 국내외 관련 논문, 보고서, 통계자료 등의 문헌연구에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통해 안전디자인 개념과 구성요소, 안전디자인의 범위에 대해 살펴보았다. 또한 작업공간에서의 안전디자인의 개념을 체계적으로 정립하고 있는 호주의 안전디자인 원칙 가이드라인에 대해 살펴봄으로써 안전디자인에서 지켜져야 할 다섯 가지의 원칙에 대해 논의하여 안전디자인의 확립에 도움이 되는 기초 연구로서 활용이 되고자 했다.
