The Current Analysis for development occupancy density of buildings (국내 재실자 밀도 기준 설정을 위한 실태 조사 연구)

  • 최근 피난제약이 많은 대형 및 고층건축물의 증가함에 따라 화재 시 많은 인적피해가 예상된다. 이에 국내외에서는 화재로부터 인명을 보호하기 위한 방법으로 건축물의 성능 위주 피난 안전성평가를 실시하고 있는데 이를 위해서는 해당 건축물을 이용하는 사용자의 특성을 파악할 필요가 있다. 특히 건축물의 피난용량을 결정하는 재실자 밀도는 중요한 평가요소로 국외의 경우에는 건축물 용도에 따른 단위면적 당 재실 인원 즉, 재실자 밀도를 산정하여 규정하고 있으나 현재 우리나라는 건축법에서 건축물의 용도 및 규모만을 고려한 사양적 기준을 적용하고 있어 재실자를 고려한 피난설계가 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 재실자 밀도 고려한 성능위주 피난용량 확보기술을 위하여 우선적으로 초고층 건축물을 선정하여 재실자 밀도 실태조사를 하였다. 이를 토대로 국내 초고층 건축물의 재실자 밀도 산정 시 기초자료로 이용하고자 한다.

Analysis on the Differences of Point of View between Architect and Urban Planner on the Evaluation of International Urban Design Competition (국제설계경기 평가에서 건축가와 도시계획가의 관점차이 분석)

  • During the development process of mega-project, individual buildings including skyscrapers are built following the master plan. It is not a difficult thing to see the gap of standpoint between the urban planners and architects on the project. This study aims to analyze the difference between architect and urban planner's point of view in evaluating international design competition works which the internationally distinguished honorable design companies(SOM, Jerde Partnership, Studio Daniel Libeskind, Foster+Partners and Asymptote Architecture) submitted as the ideas of Yongsan International Business District Design. Furthermore, we made an attempt to quantify the weight of each factors of urban design by each group. Architect and urban planner's viewpoint were revealed with seven architects and seven urban planners evaluating the international design competition works through AHP(Analytical Hierarchy Process). AHP structure was made of two step hierarchy in terms of Master Plan and Landmark Tower. Eight evaluation criteria were set up such as the concept, land use, transportation, feasibility of Master Plan and the concept, location, functional efficiency and aesthetic beauty of Landmark Tower. Results show that Architect have different point of view from that of urban planner. While the architect's weight of evaluation criteria is on the Landmark Tower(0.505), urban planner's weight is on Master Plan(0.642). Feasibility, the location of Landmark Tower and land-use are very important evaluation criteria to architect and urban planner in common. Functional efficiency of Landmark Tower is in architect's favour and transportation is in urban planner.

Developing the Installation Guideline of Building Monitoring Systems for Hazardous Symptom Measurements with Visual Perception (시지각적 요소를 갖춘 건축물 위험징후 측정 모니터링 시스템 설치 가이드라인 개발연구)

  • Purpose: Recently, structural defects in old safety management facilities have led to the collapse of buildings and facilities. The purpose of this study is to develop guidelines for the installation of regular monitoring systems that determine the optimal sensor location for monitoring exhibition space building sensors equipped with visual elements in order to analyze the risk signs of exhibition space buildings and develop measurement technology. Method: The components, installation locations, alarm criteria, and management measures of the instrument are presented. Result: A measure was proposed to determine the location of sensors, secure signal processing technology for analysis by having unified visual perception, and configure optimal 'risk sign detection' based on sensor monitoring through test-bed operation. Conclusion: The results of this study can be prepared against the disasters that may arise from the collapse of exhibition buildings, and contribute to strengthening safety management capabilities.

The Color Analysis Based on Formative Continuity of the Facade (파사드의 형태적 연속성에 따른 색채분석)

  • The facade in the street is a unfixed type, thus it is not easy to investigate the characteristic of structures. In addition, a color mainly depends on sensitivity, therefore, it is very difficult to provide the solution of the problems. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between a form of the facade and a color, and to introduce the methodology and the direction of the color scheme for the facade in the street. for the purpose of this study, 47 facades are empirically analyzed. Based upon the results of research analysis, this study try to find out the relationship among the formative continuity of the facade in the street, a color, and the quality of the material. From the results, it suggests the new direction for the image formation of the facade in the street centering around a color. This study concludes that the characteristics of the facade in the street is discontinuous, and the color scheme is not based on the formative continuity. Moreover, the whole street is composed of each strong individual character. In order to harmonious creation of the facade in the street, primary colors and painting colors should be constrained. Finally, the color scheme based on the formative continuity of the facade in the street should be carefully considered.

  • Recently, interest in data analysis has increased, and convergence research through data analysis has been actively conducted in various fields such as engineering, natural science, and social science. In the field of architecture, various studies using data analysis are being conducted, and in particular, efforts are being made to solve the problems in the field of architecture that have been quantitatively expanded through the urbanization process. In this study, data analysis on residential satisfaction of residents in residential environment improvement areas and similar neighborhoods through urban regeneration projects is performed. Through analysis using R for post-residential evaluation elements that are conducted after building construction and occupancy, important evaluation items that affect the satisfaction of the residential environment are identified by analyzing the association rules between each evaluation element and identifying the frequency of major requirements of residents. To grasp. Through this, we intend to conduct convergence research between IT and architecture fields, such as the development of a system that can recommend high-quality residential areas as well as providing data for securing high-quality residential spaces when constructing residential areas in the future.

  • The current aging population calls for more facilities to care for the elderly. Recently the average life span of Korean has been lengthened. The percentage of the old over 65% which was 5.7% in 1995, is expected to be increased to 12.5% in 2020. Therefore, the social problems of old people occur in various aspects nowadays, and will become more serious in the near future. This study will provide basic planning guidelines in designing of the dementia ward of the Special Hospital, and the purpose of this study is to suggest a model of the utilization of Special Hospitals.

  • 지금까지의 피난계획이 피난 시 가장 취약한 재해약자에 대한 고려가 미흡하여 이들을 고려한 피난계획의 방향을 제시하고자 하며, 건축물 화재 시 재해약자들의 피난안전성 확보를 위해 기존문헌들을 통해 피난계획 항목 및 요소를 조사하고, 건축 소방분야 전문가들을 대상으로 예비 조사 및 본 조사를 실시한 후 통계분석 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계, 중요도분석, 상관분석을 통해 피난계획의 항목 및 세부요소의 중요정도를 알아보고자 한다.

  • Today, educational facilities are considered to be one of the most important built environment. And the appropriate combinations and applications of technical elements related to green building on the education facilities are emphasized and demanded. These are must be compatible with the occupants' activities and their needs. The objective of this research is to identify and analyze of green building technologies, based on Green Educational Facilities' Case Study in Korea, USA, and Japan. As a result of the comparative analysis of this research, the green technological approaches, problem, and characteristics on educational facilities in different area, climate zone are identified and analyzed by external environment, energy, materials and resources, and indoor environment. It is useful as basic reference for future green educational facilities' planning and design in Korea.

  • The purpose of this study is to derive and to apply green factors focusing on the existing old settlements, Topdong 'Yangdalmal' in Cheongju City. This study is conducted through literatures and GBCC (Green Building Certification Criteria) review. Literatures cover the traditional characteristics of farming village and the modern characteristics of urban space today. The results are following as; first, Land Use, Environment, Resource and Energy are the most important green factors by literatures and GBCC. Second, traditional elements and natural elements such as history and culture, natural resource use and passive planning are added. Finally information communication is added as the green factor showed feature of modern society.

Improving the Street through the Control of Urban Signboards (도시상업간판의 관리를 통한 거리개선방안)

  • 상업간판은 단순한 광고목적 외에 도시의 시각이미지를 구성하는 도시환경구성요소 중 하나이다. 또한 건축물의 주요한 구성부분이며 주민에게는 환경적 즐거움을 주어야 하는 의무가 있으며 보행자로 하여금 강제적으로 주목을 끌게 해야 하는 상업적 목적을 가지고 있다. 그러나 본래의 목적과 달리 하나의 도시환경저해요소로서 문제점을 유발하기도 한다. 이러한 문제점들을 시정하기 위한 주민과 자치단체의 상업간판 환경개선을 위한 시도와 이에 따른 결과를 살펴보면서 환경개선을 위한 시도가 결과적으로 주민과 도시환경 모두에게 어떠한 영향을 끼쳤는지를 살펴보았다. 현재 한국의 간판게시규정은 중앙집권적 규율하의 기본규정과 비효과적인 부처간의 상이한 규정 및 하급세부규정의 미비에 기인하여 상업간판의 난립상황을 초래하였다. 아울러 살펴본 일본, 미국, 프랑스에서 적용하고 있는 기본규정도 한계가 있음을 살펴보았으며 따라서 어떠한 개선방향이 주민과 자치단체 양자에게 이익을 주고있는지를 살펴보았다. 효과적인 간판설치규정의 제정은 불가능하지만 규정은 제정하되 무엇보다 자발적인 주민들의 참여와 건축가, 사용자, 자치단체 사이의 주의로운 조화가 필요함을 살펴보았다.
