The Key Points of Architectural Planning for Floating Residential Architecture (플로팅 주거건축의 주요 건축계획 항목에 관한 연구 -플로팅 건축 관련 기준 및 주거건축 해외 사례를 중심으로-)

  • This study aims to identify the key points of architectural planning for floating residential architecture. For this purpose, this study analyses 6 kinds of standards about floating architecture and 14 cases of floating residential architecture. As a result, this study finds out 4 points of architectural planning for floating residential architecture; first, planning of access to upland and walkway, second, public facilities and community space planning, third, planning of various equipment, material and fixed extinguishing system for fire prevention, forth, modular system planning including manufacturing, transporting and installation of modular house.

  • Architectural drawings are the records containing a lot of information about constructions and an architectural drawing has a lot of technical, physical and significant uniqueness. The most important thing required to preserve and utilize architectural drawings is description. However, there is still no standard for the description of architectural drawings in Korea. Therefore this study proposes description elements for architectural drawings based upon examining a generic character of architectural drawings and analyzing several standards and guidelines that can be used as the description rule application model for architectural drawings.

  • This research is intended to propose future research directions by identifying differences between Korea and China's public facilities at the time of introduction and presenting improvement measures by comparing the criteria for green building certification. The study focuses on the comparison of Korea's G-SEED 2016 and China's ESGB 2014. For data related to green building certification in Korea, refer to the Construction Technology Research Institute Green Building Certification Criteria 2016 v1.2 Guide for New Housing. A study on the Green Building Certification System in China referred to the Green Building Assessment Standards. Comparisons were made between G-SEED 2016 general building certification review criteria and ESGB 2014 public facility certification criteria, and certification methods, essential items and specialties for each area.

The Methods for the Improvement of the KDC 5th Edition of Architecture Engineering Classification System (KDC 제5판 건축공학분야 분류체계 개선 방안)

  • This study is intended to present methods improving the classification system of KDC architecture engineering fields after comparing and analyzing the academic system of architecture engineering, classification system of KDC, DDC, and LCC, and that of the research field classification system of National Research Foundation of Korea. The results of the analysis have revealed that it is required to improve and correct the KDC 5th edition of architectural engineering including the addition of classification items that reflect the trend of academic development, proper development in the rank classification terms of architectural structure engineering, addition of detailed subjects, selection of proper classification terms, errors of classification symbols and English expression, and omission of correlative indexes in the classification items. This study has proposed improved methods to solve those problems.

1966~1967 되돌아 본 건축사(士)·건축사(史) - 40년 전에도 계약서와 설계보수대가는 "뜨거운 감자"

  • 올 해로 창간 47주년을 맞은 월간 '건축사'는 2013년 4월 현재 통권 528호를 발행했다. 건축사는 40여 년간 건축계의 다양한 이슈를 비롯해 수많은 건축 작품과 소식들을 전해왔다. 그간 발행된 간행물을 보면, 40여 년간 건축계가 안고 있던 고민과 연구 등은 현재와 크게 다르지 않음을 알 수 있다. 무엇보다 '건축사의 위상 찾기'는 과거와 현재를 비롯해 미래에서도 건축계가 풀어야 할 영원한 과제인 듯하다. 본지는 지난 47년간 게재되었던 내용을 통해 당시에는 건축계에 어떠한 일이 있었고, 어떠한 작품들이 있었으며, 선배건축사들이 어떠한 문제에 대해 고민하고 해결했는지 '건축사 Time machine'을 신설, 연재할 계획이다. 그 첫 번째 순서로 1966년 창간호와 1967년 발행된 4권(4월, 7월, 9월 11월호)의 내용을 살펴본다.

A Case Study on Legal Systems related to Floating Building (플로팅 건축물 관련 국내외 법제도 사례 연구)

  • Recently many different floating buildings are planed and constructed in the sea, river, etc. for active use of water spaces. But many problems are occurred in the process of floating building design, construction and management due to the inadequate legal system. This incomplete legal system has become one of the critical factors which are hampering the invigoration of floating buildings. Therefore this study is to suggest preliminary data and improvement directions through a case study with domestic and foreign examples of appropriate laws and law applications concerning floating buildings. As the results of this study the laws related to floating building have to be revised in the directions of qualifying legally floating building as 'building' but not 'ship', designating 'special zone' for floating building site, and applying the established 'building licensing procedure' to floating building also.

A Study on Correlation between Atypical Architecture Classification and Main Public Space of the Museums (박물관의 비정형 건축형태와 중심공간과의 상관성에 관한 연구)

  • This study focused on the museums mainly holding permanent exhibitions except for the function of special exhibition in museum architectural works. This study aimed to draw the possibility to establish the relation between architectural form and central space of museums, by applying the forms like formal form, informal form, segment form, and diagonal form shown through a case study to total 164 work cases, reclassifying the architectural form into informal form, formal form, semi-formal form, segment form, diagonal form, and linear form, and then analogizing the matter of correlation between architectural form and central space of museums. The relevant contents could be summarized as follows. overall, most of the central spaces according with the informal architectural form of museums were the informal form, which showed 92.7% distribution rate. overall, there were many cases of informal architectural form of museums. Compared to the formal form, the informal architectural form showed the higher correlation with central space. The informal architectural form of museums is estimated to be continuously developing in the future. This study aims to present the basic data aiming for interior architecture design by considering the correlation between central space and architectural form.
