The study as explained above has been progressed as follows: Through the theoretical required for projecting the corporate's exhibition at exposition, the justifiability of this study was recognized. To approach the pavilion of exhibition the importance of marketing communication at the corporate and its forming process were suggested, and the public information of the corporate as a medium of its marketing communication was under-stood. - With regard to the exhibiting event as its method, general constituents and contents of it were closely looked into, and on the exposition, as a kind of corporate's event and a place for the reciprocally exchangeable communication between the corporate and the public, a general study was done. - The importance of identification of the corporate's image for the corporate to participate in an exposition and its analytic method were refined in the stages of 'basic image' and 'serve image', and the general process in which the corporate is processing the image of its own pusiness since its participation in exposition was suggested in terms a model, dividing it into the stages of inspection & analysis and design.

Architectural drawing has been changing from the general notion, in which it is to predict what it may be like for purely practical purpose. Particularly amongst the Deconstructivists' work, graphic elements make a great contribution to the realization of their self expressive style. Whereas these are often chosen for solely aesthetic reasons, there are some cases in which the act of drawing itself is a crucial, investigative process. This is true of Daniel Libeskind's architectural drawing. For him, Typography seems to be characteristic of his drawing. He Harness typographic elements as metaphors for hid abstract symbolism through his architectural drawings, which retain the possibility to relate to the more radical typographic approaches. Within this context, this thesis will argue how the typographic elements in Daniel Libeskind's architectural drawings can be interpreted. What interconnection can be made between the two practices\ulcorner How can these elements be incorporated into architecture\ulcorner Can they be involved in it as a main constituent\ulcorner This thesis explores diverse possibilities of interpretation of his architectural drawing through typological approaches to the cases where type itself meets the different media and signific ation is given to the other typographic elements.

지난 두 회에 걸쳐 흔히 사람들이 이야기하는 파라메트릭 디자인의 전형에 가까우며 현재의 건축 및 시공 기술로 충분히 구현이 가능한 두 예를 살펴보았습니다. 조금 지루하다고 여기셨을 분들을 위해 앞으로 몇 회간은 시뮬레이션(simulation)에 대해 이야기를 해 볼까 합니다. 시뮬레이션은 단어가 의미하는 것처럼 실제의 현상을 모방하는 과정을 의미하며 이미 많은 분야에서 다양한 목적을 위해 사용되고 있습니다. 쉽게 머릿속에 떠오르는 시뮬레이션은 아마도 영화나 컴퓨터 게임에서 자연현상이나 물리적 법칙에 의한 사물의 거동 등을 본뜨고자 하는 목적의 특수효과를 위한 시뮬레이션, 과학자들이 자연의 현상의 이해 및 예측, 혹은 가설의 검증 등을 위해 사용하는 시뮬레이션, 엔지니어들이 물체의 물리적 화학적 거동을 시험해 보기 위해 사용하는 시뮬레이션 등이 아닐까 생각합니다. 시뮬레이션은 기본적으로 어떠한 현상에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 그러한 현상을 만들어 내는 법칙을 찾아내어 이를 디지털 모델화 하여야 합니다. 몇 회 전에 말씀드렸던 것처럼, 실험에 실험을 거듭하여 가장 영향력이 큰 변수를 찾아내고 미처 이해하지 못한 변수들을 보강하기 위해 도입하는 상수 등으로 이러한 과학적인 법칙을 도출하게 됩니다. 싸고 막강한 성능의 컴퓨터 및 데이터 저장방법 등을 등에 업은 빅 데이터(Big Data)를 통한 방법론이 이미 통계 및 확률의 분야에서 전통적인 알고리듬에 바탕을 둔 시뮬레이션에 우위를 점하고 있는 상황이긴 하지만, 개인적인 생각으로는 항상 다른 분야에 비해 기술적으로 한발 뒤쳐질 수밖에 없는 건축의 보수적인 속성 및 좀 더 많은 것에 대해 컨트롤을 하고 싶어 하는 많은 건축인들의 애착 등을 고려해 보았을 때 건축에서의 시뮬레이션이라는 영역은 아직도 알아야할 가치가 많다고 생각됩니다.

The goal of this paper is to understand the visual information process and the characteristics of behaviour of the architectural design process using visual protocol analysis through the actual experiment by the architect. The visual protocol analysis is developed on the basis of the theories of the visual information processing model and visual mental image, which can explain visual representation in architectural design process. A protocol study is reported in which the experimental data by architect is analyzed through the protocol analysis method. The whole design process is divided into the stage of 9 tasks which are classified into 18 visual representatiov. The results about visual cognition in cognitive science are reviewed and summarized, and these findings will help understand the architectural design nature.

지난 2회에 걸쳐서 2012년 가을학기 Harvard GSD의 Digital Media and Material Practice 수업의 일환으로 진행되었던 Diffusion Limited Aggregation System에 대하여 이야기를 시작 하였습니다. 먼저 유한 확산 집합체가 무엇인지를 자연에서 쉽게 발견할수 있는 예를 통하여 알아 보았고 이 현상이 어떻게 일어나는 지에 대한 고찰을 통하여 유한 확산 집합체를 디지털 모형으로 생성하기 위한 밑그림을 그려보았습니다. 이번 회는 저번회의 연장선상에서 유한 확산 집합체를 Visual Basic 을 사용하여 디지털 모형으로 재구성 하는 과정에 대하여 마져 이야기 하도록 하겠습니다.

Industrialization played an important role in modernization and the birth of modern architecture. The changes caused by the industrialization and people's faith in its output are reflected in an attempt to associate the concepts and process of architecture with industrialization. In the course of incorporating architecture into the industrialization process, it became necessary to understand the architecture from practical point of view connecting it directly with scientific technology rather than in the context of historical tradition in the past. Understanding architecture as a kind of industrial production signifies two concepts. One is regarding perception of architectural outputs. The other is regarding the intention to proceed architectural process as a process of industrial production. The purpose of this study is to review the changes in the architecture influenced by industrialization from post-industrialization through early modern period and to analyze its significance and influence.

This study is the one of the step to propose the Design studio course that apply concept of 'BIM" that is new digital environment of Architecture. This Study propose as followed, First. The proposal of the experimental course of the Design studio, Second, Application of course of study, Third, The design course of study is proceeded by purpose of completion of BIM. This study is proceeded by the purpose of the concept of the BIM first and proposals of fundamental ideas that apply the idea. Proposed training courses are marked by that divide three areas of information - architecture information, environment information, drawing information - with process consisted in professional practice of design and adjust each process and sequence. Also, this study suggest process that applying BIM tools in this work as the basis frame.

본 연구에서는 국외 설계사무실과 국내 설계사무실의 수행 프로젝트(표1)를 디지털 디자인 프로세스에서의 디지털 도구 활용 사례조사 결과를 일련의 설계 프로세스(기획(Pre-Design), 계획 설계(Schematic Design) 중간설계(Detail Design), 실시설계(Construction Design))를 11개의 설계 단위작업((1)자료수집, (2)도서화작업, (3)의사소통/프레젠테이션, (4)협력업체와의 협업, (5)디자인 실험, (6)디자인분석/유효성 검토, (7)빌딩시스템과 자재선정, (8)자재비교/견적, (9)디자인 발전, (10)RP를 이용한 모델 제작, (11)시공/제작)으로 분류하여(설계프로세스별로 디지털 디자인 툴의 활용 빈도를 조사 분석하는 것은 프로세스별로 중복된 설계 단위작업이 진행됨으로 연구결과의 의미가 잘못 해석될 수 있다.) 그 활용에 대한 유형을 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 설계과정에서의 디지털 디자인 툴의 활용특성을 도출하여 실무설계의 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적을 둔다.

A recent global trend in the increase of earthquake-related disasters has become so frequent as to cause various damages to a wide range of mid- to high-rise buildings. Particularly, more attention is being paid to the effect of horizontal load in high-rise buildings not only on the key structural elements of the structures, but also on the possibility of the secondary damages to them due to the failure of exterior panels, which are non-structural elements, but such damages are difficult to cope with as they may be caused by unexpected changes. The present study examined exterior panels using moving clips to prevent such secondary damages on the non-structural elements and analyzed the structural performance of these exterior panels through the finite element analysis and the shaking table test. The analysis results showed that the exterior panels using moving clips satisfied the structural performance against the allowable story drift of KBC2009 and the safety of the exterior panels was verified by the shake table test.

건축시장에서도 지식정보화로 등장한 BIMtleofmf 맞이하게 되었다. BIM(Building Information Modeling)은 전통적인 건축의 2D해석방법을 보다 실물 그대로의 형태로 가상의 디지털 공간에 구현하는 방법이다. 이는 건축시장 전반에 일대 지각변동이 야기될 전망이다. 건축사사무소의 경우 설계 프로세스의 변화, 디자인팀 구성의 변화, 저작권과 관련된 계약의 변화, 건축사의 역할의 변화 등 많은 변화가 대기하고 있는 실정이다. 최근에는 우리 건축시장에도 BIM으로 발주되기 시작하고 있다. 이에 대한 준비가 없이는 많은 혼란과 대가를 치러야 되는 상황으로 몰리고 있는 안타까운 실정이다. 건축은 건축이라는 큰 주제를 가지는 여러 전문집단이 함께 협업(collaboration)하여 이루어 가는 행위들로 볼 수 있다. 여러 관계자간의 상호 밀접한 협업과 분명한 역할 분담이 요구된다. 따라서 이에 대한 대비를 해나가야 한다. 이에 대한 방법으로 국외의 BIM 가이드라인을 조사 분석하고 장단점을 파악하여 국내 건축시장의 전통적이며 지역적 특성을 반영하는 국내 BIM 가이드라인을 만드는 과정에서 조사된 주요 해외 사례를 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 통하여 건축사 여러분들과 함께 고민하고 준비하는 기회를 지면을 통하여 갖고자 한다. 많은 관심과 성원을 기대하며${\cdots}$.
