Early-Age and Restrained Shrinkage of Very-Early Strength Latex Modified Concrete (초속경 라텍스개질 콘크리트의 초기수축 및 구속건조수축)

  • Recently, very-early strength latex-modified concrete(below ; VES-LMC) has been developed for repairing and overlaying the old concrete bridge deck. VES-LMC provides the advantage of very-early-strength, as well as high flexural strength, bond strength, durability, resistance to corrosion, reduced water permeability and resistance to damage from freeze-thaw cycles. The compressive and flexural strength of VES-LMC are 21 MPa and 4.5 MPa at 3 hours after concrete placing, respectively. However, VES-LMC would have a relatively large shrinkage at early-age because of reduced water-cement ratio, big water self-dissipation, and rapid hydration reaction. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the early-age and restrained shrinkage of VES-LMC, having an experimental variables such as latex contents and cement types. The latex contents included 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%, and the cement types included ordinary portland cement and very-early strength cement.

  • Non-toxic orgarnic inorgarnic complex green pigment using Fluidized Bed Vapor Deposition(FB-VD) process was developed to alternate green pigment used heavy metals chrome and lead in present domestic. Kaolin materials and $CaCO_3$ were used as supporter of pigment and surface and compositions of supporters were characterized by SEM and EDXS, respectively. Various kind of surface active agents(surfactants) were also used to optimize the dry condition or color revelation. Results showed that anion type surfactant is most suitable for dry and color revelation of pigment.

  • This study was designed to investigate the cytotoxic effect of Cephaxus koreana on human breast cancer cell lines (SCC-1395 and SK-BR-3) us ins MTT(3- [4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay. RPMII -1640 medium with $10\%$ FBS and $1\%$ of penicillin-streptomycin was used. The ethanol extrart of Cephaxus koreana after adsoption resin treatment showed higher anticancer activity against SCC- 1395 than the ethanol extract of Cephaxus koreana without adsoption resin treatment. SK-BR-3 showed higher sensitivity activity than SCC-1395 at the same concentration of 20000 ppm.

  • Ji, Syok-young wrote a book named Sinhaksinseol(新學新說) in 1891, one of the first hygiene books in Korea. There were the conditions of modern housing like lighting, ventilation and dry and fresh air of a housing site in the contents of the book. Because the book was written when the modern hygiene theory had just been accepted, traditional concept of 'Yangseng(養生),' but it dealt the main environmental conditions of hygienic housing at first, which makes it the leader of modern housing discourses through the newspapers, magazines, academic journals or textbooks from 1890s mid to 1910.

  • This research is about the drying and curing characteristic of conductivity metallic ink on-line curing device in order to improve the curing time for productivity in RFID Gravure printing. The curing process is carried out to increase the electric conductivity after the metallic ink is printed on the substrate. The metal ink is composed of nano-sized silver or copper particles. In this research, the combined IR and Hot air curing system is used and its results is compared with those of oven, IR and Hot Air type respectively. Generally the curing time in the past is about 3 minutes. But the combined system (IR+Hot Air) in this research shows that curing time is less than 30 seconds. These results is much faster than those of other system. This study can be help to make Roll-to-Roll drying and curing process for mass and continuous production on-line.

  • Two wooden fish excavated from Wiryeseong Fortress on Seonggeosan Mountain in Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do Province were frail due to their deterioration within the burial environment. To prevent further deformation, conservation treatment was conducted on them to strengthen the wooden materials and stabilize the dimensions. Prior to the conservation treatment, the species of wood was determined to be pine and infrared Irradiation on the patterns remaining on the wooden fish revealed that they were depictions of carp. For conservation treatment, the wooden fish were impregnated with PEG #3, 350 in a water solution with a 40% concentration, followed by freeze-drying.

  • 첨단과학기술의 발달로 환경오염이나 자연파괴 등을 유발시킴으로써 이에 부응하여 다양한 기능이 부여된 소재들이 개발 되고 있어 천연성분을 이용한 패션상품들이 고부가치를 창출하고 있다. 본 실험에서는 Kumazasa를 충분히 건조시켜 키토산을 젖산 수용액에 용해시켜 면을 처리 하고 욕비 1:10으로 Kumazasa를 24시간 80$^{\circ}C$에 가열하여 얻은 추출액으로 염색하여 수세 및 건조하였다. 항균성은 황색포도당구균과 폐렴구균에 대한 항균성을 조사한 결과 모두 99.9%로 매우 우수한 항균성이 나타났다.

  • 유리강화섬유(FRP,Fiber Reinforced Plastic)은 가볍고 내구성등이 우수하여 가공하기 쉬워 선박건조, 특히 어선의 건조재료로 많이 활용되고 있으나, FRP의 재료인 매트와 로빙이 인화성을 가진 수지와 접합되어 화재에는 매우 취약한 특성을 가지는 특성을 가진다. 최근 10년간의 중앙해양안전심판원의 어선화재 재결서 분석결과 전체의 약80%에 해당하는 화재사고가 기관실에서 발생하였다. 이에 새로 출범한 해양수산부는 FRP선박의 구조기준을 개정하여 총톤수10톤 이상 선박의 기관실에 대한 방화조치를 그 이하선박까지로 적용 확대하였으며, 어선구조기준 역시 행정규칙 행정예고를 통해 강화하려는 움직임을 보이고 있다. 본 지에서는 국내외 화재사고 발생현황 및 관련 규제 내용을 비교 분석하여 제시하였으며 분석결과, 일반선박의 방화조치에 대한 규제는 거의 유사하였으나 어선관련 규제의 경우, 영국의 규제가 가장 강화되어 있었으며 관련 화재사고 발생현황도 국내 및 일본과 비교해 보았을때 같은 기간 발생한 일반선의 화재발생척수 대비 어선의 화재발생척수가 적은것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 최근 소형선박의 선체 재료로써 기존의 FRP선이 갖는 환경문제와 자원의 재활용 및 선체중량경감의 측면에서 소형선박을 중심으로 알루미늄선으로의 전환이 이루어져 왔지만, 알루미늄에 대한 용접 기능공 및 기술이 부족하여 건조 공정에 많은 시간과 비용이 소요되어 중소조선소에선 알루미늄선체 건조에 많은 애로 점을 가지고 있다. 이에, 본 연구를 통해 알루미늄선체의 구조부재 제작시 용접에 의한 공정을 압출성형 기법으로 대체하고 알루미늄선체의 용접에 소요되는 높은 인건비와 시간을 절약하여 원가 절감의 효과를 도모하며 또한 알루미늄선박 일체형 구조부재의 경량화 기법과 한국선급의 알루미늄선체 강도 기준을 적용하여 표준화된 구조부재의 압출성형 기법을 정립하고자 한다.
