음식물쓰레기의 가공처리방법별 사료영양소 함량 변화 평가 및 문제점 개선 방안 (Evaluation on Feed-Nutritional Change of Food Waste According to Different Processing Methods and Trouble-shooting Strategy)

  • 본 연구는 음식물쓰레기의 건식 건조, 반건식 발효, 습식 발효 사료화 방법별로 대표적 업체를 방문하여 사료 제조 공정을 조사․소개하고, 사료화 방법별 공정별 음식물쓰레기의 물리화학적 성분을 추적하고, 영양소 손실율을 비교․평가하며, 사료화 방법별 문제점을 발굴하여 이의 개선 방안을 최종적으로 제시하기 위하여 실시하였다. 건식 사료화 방법의 경우, 탈수 공정은 원료 음식물쓰레기의 수분(10% 정도) 및 조지방 성분을 감소시키고(P<0.05), 섬유소(NDF, ADF, 조섬유소) 성분을 증가시켰다(P<0.05). 탈수․건조 공정은 원료 음식물쓰레기의 조지방과 필수아미노산 중 lysine, methio- nine, histidine 성분을 줄이고(P<0.05), 단백질의 pepsin 소화율을 반 정도로 감소시켰으며(P<0.05), 섬유소, 조회분, Ca, P 성분은 증가시켰다(P<0.05). pH는 차이가 없었으나(P>0.05), 염분은 40% 이상 감소하였다(P<0.05). 반건식 발효사료화 방법은 음식물쓰레기 혼합물의 일반 조성분, 단백질의 pepsin 소화율, 에너지 성분, pH 및 염분 농도에 별다른 영향을 미치지 않았다(P>0.05). 습식 발효사료화 방법의 경우, 멸균 전과 비교해서 멸균․발효 후에는 건물, 조지방, 조섬유소, lysine 성분이 감소하였으나(P<0.05), 그 외의 일반 조성분, 단백질의 pepsin 소화율 및 pH에는 차이가 없었다(P>0.05). 염분(5.16 vs 4.40%)은 9% 정도 감소하였다(P<0.05). 사료화 방법 중 건식 사료화 방법은 영양소 손실율(대사성에너지 24%, 유기물 12% 등)이 가장 높았으며(P<0.05), 반건식 및 습식 발효 사료화 방법은 미미한 영양소 손실을 보여주었다. 현장 업체 방문 조사 결과, 특히 아파트원 음식물쓰레기의 사료화 시 모든 처리 방법들 공히 제품에의 이물질 잔존 문제는 공통적으로 나타났으며, 완벽한 선별기의 개발이 요구되었다. 건식 사료화시 열처리에 따른 상당한 에너지 성분 감소와 단백질의 질적 저하는 다른 사료와의 배합비 설계시 양질의 에너지 및 단백질 사료의 보충을 필요로 하였다. 반건식 발효 사료화의 경우, 보조 사료와의 혼합시 과학적인 사료 배합비 설계가 요구되었다. 습식 발효 사료화 방법의 경우, 고수분 사료의 공급으로 인한 동물의 건물 섭취량 제한 현상으로 초래되는 동물 성장 저하 문제를 극복하기 위해서는 가능한 한 고영양성 사료를 보충하여야 할 것으로 사료되었다.

수직형 건식 진공 스크류 펌프의 열특성에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Thermal Characteristics of Dry Vacuum Pump with Vertical Screws)

  • In this study, analysis and experiments were carried out on temperature distributions and thermal deformations in a dry vacuum pump with vertical screws for safe operation. When a vacuum pump is working, it is necessary to get rid of the heat generated by the friction of bearings and the compression of air to prevent the vacuum pump from being damaged by interference between two screws and housing through thermal deformation. Additional cooling was proposed by using oil flow through the inner channel of the rotating axis for lower temperature control of the vacuum pump. Analysis and experimental results were compared in terms of temperature distribution and thermal deformation of the vacuum pump, and two sets of results matched reasonably well. These results for a dry vacuum pump with vertical screws can be used in similar model development and can minimize errors in design and manufacture by providing reasonably accurate prediction in advance.

  • Thermal stability and dry sliding wear behavior of ultra-fine grained 6061 Al alloy fabricated by an accumulative roll-bonding (ARB) process have been investigated. After 4 ARB cycles, an ultra-fine grained microstructure of the 6061 Al alloy composed of grains with average size of 500nm, and separated mostly by high-angle boundaries was obtained. Though hardness and tensile strength of the ARB processed Al alloy increased with ARB cycles up to 4 cycles, the processed alloy exhibited decreased ductility and little strain hardening. Thermal stability of the ARB-processed microstructure was studied by annealing of the severely deformed alloy at $423K{\sim}573K$. The refined microstructure of the alloy remained stable up to 473K, and the peak aging treatment of the alloy at 450K for 8 hrs increased the thermal stability of the alloy. Sliding-wear rates of the alloy increased with the number of ARB cycles in spite of the increased hardness with the cycles. Wear mechanisms of the ultra-fine grained alloy were investigated by examining worn surfaces, wear debris, and cross-sections by a scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

  • Effect of prior deformation on the sliding wear of the ultra-fine grained (UFG) ferrite-martensite dual phase (DP) steel was investigated. The UFG DP steel was fabricated by the ECAP and subsequent intercritical annealing. The steel was cold rolled before the wear test, and the effect of the prior deformation on the wear was examined. The wear tests were carried out at various loads against a bearing steel ball. The wear rate of the UFG DP steel that did not experience the prior deformation was higher than that of the coarse-grained (CG) DP steel, because of more severe surface shear deformation. The wear rate of the specimens with prior deformation was much higher than that of the specimen without prior deformation. The deformed CG DP specimen showed higher rate than the deformed UFG DP specimen, and the rate-variation of the CG DP steel was much bigger under the same test condition.

  • The aim of this study is to improve the purification efficiency of odor gas by increasing the contact area between an odor gas and adsorbent. To analyze the flow in the adsorption tower, the flow characteristics in the hollow activated carbon-adsorption tower are identified by applying the loss model, which is a porous flow analysis model. The flow characteristics are investigated for pressure loss, velocity distribution, turbulent kinetic energy, and residence time distribution. The results show that the hollow adsorption tower performs better than the solid adsorption tower in terms of pressure loss and performance. The inner diameter of the hollow region inside the adsorption tower is 0.64 m (Di/Do = 0.37). Furthermore, the adsorbent performance is unaffected even when adsorbent stages are installed to replace the adsorbent.

  • 최근에는 경수로 핵연료의 연소도를 높이고 있으며 연소도가 증가함에 따라서 핵분열생성물(불순물)의 양은 증가하게 된다. 핵분열생성물의 함량은 산화속도 및 분말특성에 영향을 주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 소결성을 갖는 분말의 제조 및 특성 실험은 사용후 핵연료가 고방사능을 가져 실험수행상에 제한이 많아 실제 사용후 핵연료를 모사한 모의 사용후 핵연료를 사용하여 수행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 연소도가 35,000 MWD/MTU 및 60,000 MWD/MTU인 모의 사용후 핵연료를 제조하여 연소도에 따른 산화ㆍ환원처리 분말 및 미분쇄 분말의 분말특성, 소결온도 및 성형압력에 따른 소결성을 조사하였다.(중략)

  • In industrially advanced countries, environmentally conscious machining was eagerly studied because of ecological and economical reasons. As the environmental regulations become stricter, new machining technologies which takes environmental aspects into consideration are being developed. Industry and research institutions established applications for dry, semi-dry, oil-mist and compressed cold air machining. This paper investigates the performance of new compressed cold air system for environmentally conscious machining and evaluates machinability of dry and new compressed cold air machining. A series of tests are carried out using measuring equipments under dry and compressed cold air machining.

  • The integrated chip of optical micro-encoder was fabricated and the feasibility as displacement measurement device was confirmed. The geometry of micro-encoder was designed to utilize the optical interference effect on the second order of diffracted beams. The hybrid-type micro-encoder consisted with light emitting diode, photodiode, polyimide wave-guide and micro-lens provides stable micro-encoding results for high speed displacements. The measurement shows the resolution of displacement of 1.00 +/- 0.02 ${\mu}m$ for the grating with scale pitch of 2.0${\mu}m$.

  • This paper presents an analytical and experimental study of a cryogenic machining for precision hard turning. A cryogenic circulation system is designed and mounted on the top of the tool insert. The machining process used is facing operation on a CNC turning center with dry and cryogenic conditions. The tool temperature and cutting forces are measured by the K-type thermocouple and by a three-component Kistler dynamometer, respectively. Both data are fed into the data acquisition program through an A/D card. Surface roughness and form accuracy of the machined surface are measured by WYKO NT2000. It is also found that surface roughness and form accuracy with cryogenic cooling are better than those with no coolant.

  • Abrasive jet machining(AJM) process is similar to the sand blasting, and effectively removes hard and brittle materials. AJM has applied to rough working such as deburring and rough finishing. As the needs for machining of ceramics, semiconductor, electronic devices and LCD are increasing, micro AJM was developed, and became the inevitable technique to micromachining. This paper describes the performance of the micro AJM in micro groove cutting of glass. Diameter of hole and width of line in this groove cutting is 80${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. Experimental results showed good performance in micro groove cutting in glass, but the size of machined groove was increased about 2~4${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. therefore, this micro AJM could be effectively applied to the micro machining of semiconductor, electronic devices and LCD parts.
