Uncertainty Management on Human Intrusion Scenario Assessment of the Near Surface Disposal Facility for Low and Intermediate-Level Radioactive Waste: Comparative Analysis of RESRAD and GENII (중저준위방사성폐기물 표층처분시설의 인간침입 시나리오 평가에 대한 불확실성 관리: RESRAD와 GENII의 비교분석)

  • In order to manage the uncertainty about the evaluation and analysis of the human intrusion scenario of the Gyeongju Low and Intermediate Level Radioactive Waste(LILW) disposal facility, the calculation result by the GENII code was assessed using the RESRAD code, which was developed to evaluate the radiation effects of contaminated soil. The post-drilling scenario was selected as a human intrusion scenario into the near-surface disposal facility to analyze the uncertainty of the modeling by identifying any limitations in the simulation of each code and comparing the evaluation results under the same input data conditions. The results revealed a difference in the migration of some nuclides between the codes, but confirmed that the dose trends at the end of the post-closure control period were similar for all exposure pathways. Based on the results of the dose evaluation predicted by RESRAD, sensitivity analysis on the input factors was performed and major input factors were derived. The uncertainty of the modeling results and the input factors were analyzed and the reliability of the safety evaluation results was confirmed. The results of this study can be applied to the implementation 'Safety Case Program' for the Gyeongju LILW disposal facility.

Environment Improvement factors of the College Cafeteria by the Post Occupancy Evaluation - Focused on W college in Daejeon - (거주 후 평가를 통한 대학 학생식당 환경 개선요인 - 대전 W대학 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • The cafeteria is one of the welfare facilities in the college and crowed with students during lunchtime because of the various menu, saying time and cheap price. In designing the cafeteria, we have to consider the users' needs and the factors which effect on their satisfaction and behavior under the pleasant environment. The purpose of this study is to draw the environmental improvement factors by Post Occupancy Evaluation. A survey about the users' actual condition and environmental satisfaction level and a behavior observation in the field were utilized as the study methode. The 150 copies of questionnaire were completed by students who ate at the cafeteria of W college in Daejeon city. The SPSS 15.0 for Windows was used for a statistical analysis. The results are listed below; two factors were drawn as the improvement elements through the combination of the unsatisfactory items obtained by the descriptive statistics and the influential items by the multi-regression analysis. They are images and approach. In the 'image' category, there us a statistical difference between the present image and prefer image. The users prefer much brighter, warmer, newer, more gorgeous, more cheerful, more clear, more active, more comfortable, and more modern image of cafeteria. In the 'approach', the location of ail existing cafeteria is inaccessible from the classrooms in spite of an important relationship between classrooms and cafeteria. Therefore the complementary plan for convenient approach is demanded for improvement of users' satisfaction.

  • In modern Asia major cities had same problem with lack of affordable housing for families. So they had to concentrate to the mass supply of housing and made some physical counter effects like high density of cities, limitation of parking space. Also people who lived in those cities could suffer from broken traditional community culture. To rebuild traditional community and increase land usage, Block housing is suggested as a new kind of multi-family housing for old town redevelopment. Now some governments are trying to make urban code to give some initiative for new block housing development in old city blocks. They expect this new housing type can help to solve serious problems like lack of parking area, green space and context of block. Also they hope that block housing development can help to increase safety of town and reduce cost of development. The purpose of this study is to review the establishment and development process of Block Housing and to confirm the aspect which has been changed with urban organization together. Also this study tried to find out the intentional characteristics of similarities and differences with comparison of Korea and Japan. And as a result we could find critical physical viewpoint, and provide considerations for future study and plan. Several cases of block housing in Korea and Japan were reviewed for comparative study and Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) survey was examined to find satisfaction factors and problems which were expected to improved.

A Study on the POE(Post Occupancy Evaluation) about Environment-friendly Design Factors in Educational Facilities - Focusing on School Buildings in Gimhae - (교육시설의 친환경설계요소에 관한 거주 후 평가(POE)연구 - 김해시 소재 학교건축을 중심으로 -)

  • This study basically aims to examine how the GBCC system, which has been implemented since 2005 regarding school facilities, is actually being applied to schools and to survey students' satisfaction and awareness of school facilities. Ultimately, this study is to contribute to improving environment-friendly certification indexes and promoting the system. When it comes to research methods, a school with the green building certification and a school without it were selected for comparison, the two schools were visited for the investigation of their actual conditions, and then, based on the results, a survey was conducted for the students of both schools on their satisfaction(POE) of the school facilities, and finally, the results of the two schools were compared with each other and analyzed. The results of this study shows that the facilities of the school with the green building certification are much superior to those of the school without the certification as well as the former has more various facilities then the latter Nonetheless, facilities with the green building certification were found to miss something in terms of maintenance and management. Most of the survey questions show that students of the school with green building certification have higher satisfaction and awareness levels for school facilities than those of the other school students without the certification. However, the difference was a merely relative one, with most students of the school with the certification answering "so so" for their school facilities in terms of absolute evaluation.

A Study on the direction for Facility Improvement of Nationally Designated Negative Pressure Isolation Ward through Post Occupancy Evaluation (거주 후 평가를 통한 국가지정 입원치료병상 시설 개선 방향 도출에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The negative pressure isolation ward is a key facility in preparedness and response to infectious diseases. For the sustainable operation of the facility, appropriate facility improvement is required. The experience of medical staff responding to infectious diseases in the COVID-19 pandemic provides effective informations for facility planning. Methods: The post occupancy evaluation (POE) was conducted by interviewing medical staff who is working on Nationally designated negative pressure isolation ward in general hospital. Floor plan analysis was conducted before field surveys for identifying facility characteristic and spatial composition. After that, field surveys were conducted at 3 hospitals, and interviews and fieldwork were conducted together. Results: It is necessary to increase the standard size of ward area from 15m2 to 20m2. The size of the doffing room has to be planned for accommodation of two or more people. Equipment storage, clean storage and waste storage also should be properly planned. There were almost no problems with the circulation in the ward. There was not enough space for medical staff. Implications: For a sustainable and safe negative pressure isolation ward planning, it is necessary to exploit learning from the medical staffs who have many experiences of coping with infectious diseases.

A Case Study on Green Pricing Program in USA (미국 Green Pricing 프로그램 평가 사례분석 및 시사점)

  • 미국의 DOE(Department of Energy)산하 EERE(Energy Efficiecy & Renewable Energy)에서 신재생 에너지 프로그램 평가를 하고 있다. 특히 General program evaluation Guide에는 많은 평가기관에서 제안되었던 5가지 방법 중 Outcome 평가는 프로그램의 목적을 얼마나 달성했는지를 측정하는 것으로 일정한 기간이 지난 후 프로그램의 목적을 달성함으로써 얻어지는 결과를 추산함으로써 그 기간 동안 프로그램이 의도했던 목적을 얼마나 잘 수행했는지를 보여준다. 한국에서 시행되고 있는 신재생에너지 보급 프로그램의 성과를 정량화 분석을 통하여 평가할 수 있어 국내 적용성이 크다. 본 연구에서는 미국 에너지부 EERE로부터 지원받아 NREL(National Renewable Energy Laboratory)에서 실행한 Utility Green Pricing 프로그램을 사례 분석하였다. Utility Green Pricing 프로그램은 1993년 시작되었으며 2002년 말 미국 전역의 300여개 시설을 통한 90개의 프로그램을 발전시킴으로써 소비자가 자발적으로 재생에너지 발전을 지원하기 위한 한 방법으로 최근 이런 프로그램 수는 증가하고 있다. 2002년 말 기준으로 국가 전기 사용자의 20%, 대략 270,000명의 소비자가 선택하였고 2002년 290MW급 재생에너지 설비용량과 2003년 140MW급 시설을 담당하였으며 미국 이외에 캐나다, 일본, 호주, 12개 유럽 국가들이 시행하고 있다. 이 프로그램 목표는 어떤 프로그램이 green pricing 프로그램의 소비자 참가와 재생에너지 구매의 최대화를 돕는지를 제공하는 것으로 Data Pool은 90개 프로그램 중 더 이상 실행하지 않는 4개를 제외한 86개로 응답률은 77%였다. 분석대상은 거주자와 비거주자로써 자료는 2003년 초 66개의 green pricing 프로그램의 질문서를 토대로 도출되었다. Green Pricing 프로그램 질문서는 참여, 지난해 판매, 재생에너지 공급, 할 증금(초과 구매력), 프로그램 디자인과 실행, 마케팅, 소비자를 위한 부가서비스 이렇게 총 7부분으로 나누어져있다. 특히 거주자와 비거주자와 참여, 재생에너지 판매량, 프로그램 수명, 사용하는 재생에너지의 종류, 프로그램 가격, 비용 할증료, 프로그램 평가의 종류, 프로그램 마케팅 노력, 참여자에게 제공되는 부수적 가치와 관련된 자료를 모으기 위해 실행되었다. 종속적 변수로 프로그램 유효성 측정과 관련된 비/거주자 참여와 재생에너지 구매를 선택하였으며 독립적 변수로 프로그램 디자인과 마케팅 특징을 들었다. 분석방법으로는 이변성과 다변성 통계적 분석을 이용하였다. 이변성 분석은 쉽게 개별적 독립 변수와 종속변수와의 직접적 관계를 보여주며 다변성 분석은 보다 정확한 영향 산정을 위해 선택한 복합적 독립변수를 이용하였다. 프로그램 유효성 측정을 위해 비/거주자 참여 퍼센트와 재생에너지 구매 퍼센트를 구하였다. 그러나 이 분석에 몇 가지 제한점이 있었다. 소비자 중 국외자의 영향으로 분석에 많은 영향을 주지 않지만 single utility 프로그램은 비거주자참여율과 재생에너지 구매율에 영향을 끼칠 가능성이 있으며 독립/설병변수를 프로그램성공을 위해 거듭 강조하지만 빠지거나 무딘 변수는 여전히 존재한다. 분석 대상이 2002년까지를 대상으로 하기 때문에 시간상의 지체 역시 문제가 될 수 있다. 다중공산성 역시 독립변수간의 상관관계가 나타나면서 발생된다. 하지만 몇 가지 재미있는 결과를 얻어냈다. 프로그램 기간이 소비자 응답에 영향을 미치며 초기 거주고객의 높은 구매력이 지속된다는 것이다. 가격 할증료와 최소 월사용료는 프로그램 성공 초기 결정요인이 되지 않는다. 작은 시설이 성공 달성가능성이 더 큰 것으로 나타났으며 비거주자의 사적 이득 제공 역시 성공 강화에 영향을 끼쳤다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 미국 의류점포의 판매규정과 고객의 점포에 대한 기대가 판매원과 소매점에 대한 만족과 평가에 미치는 영향을 조사하는 것이다 미국에 거주하는 한국 소비자들을 대상으로 먼저 시각적으로 분위기가 다른 두 점포에 따른 고객의 서비스에 대한 기대를 측정하기 위해 슬라이드를 보여주고 의류업체의 판매규정에 따른 의류에 관련된 문제상황을 설명해주는 시나리오(판매원 노력에 의한 문제 해결 또는 소비자 노력에 의한 문제해결)를 읽게 한 후 설문지를 작성하게 하였다 그 결과 업체의 판매규정이 판매원의 서비스에 대한 만족도와 평가 의류점포서비스에 대한 만족도와 평가에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 2019년 도시계획현황 통계에 따르면 우리나라 국민의 90% 이상이 도시에 거주하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 도시의 인구증가는 불투수면적 증가, 표면유출 증가, 침투량감소 등 도시 물순환의 왜곡을 발생시키며 건전한 물순환을 저해시키는 원인이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 도시 물순환을 저해시키는 요인을 평가할 수 있는 지표를 개발하기 위하여 물순환 관련법, 물순환 및 물관리를 위한 조례, 국내외 연구 사례를 조사하였으며 국내에서 수행된 다양한 지표 연구결과물을 분석하였다. 물순환 지표를 특정할 수 있는 6개의 키워드를 선정하여 105건의 논문 및 보고서를 검토하였으며, 최종적으로 49건을 선정하였다. 선정된 문헌별 지표를 수요·공급, 이수·치수, 수질·생태로 구분하여 정보를 분리화 한 후 분리된 정보를 유사한 지표별로 통합하여 세부지표를 도출하였다.

Comparison of the Health Status Between Korean Seniors and Overseas Korean Seniors in China and Japan (한국, 중국, 일본에 거주하는 한국계 노인의 건강상태 비교)

  • Most overseas Korean seniors live in China and Japan due to Korea's historical background. Although Korean seniors living in Korea China and Japan share some similarities, the overseas seniors have become culturally different as they adapted to their countries of residence. Therefore, the aim of this study was to provide basic reference data for future senior health enhancement models by comparing and analyzing the health of Korean and overseas Korea seniors. The number of subjects in this study was 603 people, which was comprised of 231 Korean seniors, 246 overseas seniors in China, and 126 overseas seniors in Japan. The average age of the subjects was 74.4 years old. The Korean seniors displayed higher average health score than the overseas seniors. Therefore, the study believes that cultural elements should be considered in a future senior health enhancement model.

An Empirical Satisfaction Evaluation of Rural Village Development Project through Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA기법을 활용한 전원마을 사업 만족도 평가 분석)

  • The following research was conducted to encourage residents in urban areas to move to rural areas, and to improve the residential environments in those rural areas. Current policies for rural village development Project were analyzed, and policy implications were proposed. Residents in rural villages participated in a 12-question survey that asked their priorities prior to moving to the area, and factors contributing to resident satisfaction. Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA) was performed to present potential development strategies in the construction business. As a result, 'natural environment and landscapes' had the highest priority and satisfaction, whereas 'lack of public transportation and accessibility' and 'road conditions and parking facilities' had high priorities but low satisfaction levels. Thus, it is important to take nature and environment, as well as accessibility into consideration when moving to rural villages. Although this research was based on residents' bias, and the sample area was limited, these conclusions still offer important policy agreement provide of future rural villages location selection and establishment of land use planning.
