The purpose of this study is to discover the mobile-based information behaviors of the older adults with comparison of the college students and then to provide some fundamental ideas of the bridging digital devide for them. For this aims, data were collected from seniors and college students living in Daegu and Kyung-buk province via a self-designed questionnaire, and the data of 375 seniors and 323 college students were analysed with $x^2$ and t-test using SPSS. It revealed that the economic condition did not influence in the possession of mobile devices, and for leisure was most favorite activity in both groups. However, the college student group suggested the supply of free or low price mobile device; whereas the older adults group suggested the spread of education of mobile device usage would be the most important matter for bridging the digital devide. Various results of the study were presented with tables and figures in this paper.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the barriers and the solutions of the older adults' online information activities. The barriers were categorized into 8 and the solutions into 9 based on the literature review. It revealed that the lack of information devices use skill was the most serious barrier in their online information activities, and the results were different according to gender, academic careers, and residential area.; the improvement of information device environment was the most important solution to resolve the barrier, and different according to academic careers, economic status, and residential area contrary to the barrier. To get rid of the digital devide according to socioeconomic variables, a customized education of information literacy and an elderly-oriented information devices are necessary to resolve the barriers.

The purpose of this paper was to know perception of rural area, intention of going to rural, decision factors. It is social survey research with questionnaire which was conducted among citizen of Incheon during Oct. 11~28 2010. The data from 100 respondents were analysed using descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, t-test, crosstab, and factor using SPSS 18.0 statistic program. The major findings were as followings: 1)most of the middle aged people(90%) are interested in living in rural area, and 96% of middle aged people have positive perception of living in rural area. 2) most of respondents(86%) have intention to living in rural area, and it is different between man and women. 3) most of respondents think distance to hospital is more important than others. Also, women consider location more than men, high income people consider quality of housing more than others, and older people consider neighbor and leisure more than other people. In conclusion, environment of housing in terms of location, community center, and leisure facilities need to be developed.

This study examined the longitudinal changes of self-perceptions of own aging among middle-aged and elderly adults, using the latent growth modeling with the three waves of the "Aging and the Quality of Life of the Elderly in Korea", which sampled adults aged over 45 living in Seoul and Chuncheon. The dependent variable is attitudes toward own aging, the sub-scale of the Philadelphia Geriatric Center Morale Scale developed by Lawton (1975). The results showed that the research participants' attitudes of their own aging deteriorated over time. In addition, the lower initial status of the research participants' attitudes of their own aging was associated with being older, being non-married, living in rural areas, attaining the lower level of education, having the fewer social activities, reporting the worse subjective economic status, and reporting the worse subjective health status. The slope of the research participants' attitudes of their own aging differed by the residence areas, educational attainments, subjective economic status and subjective health status. In particular, the difference of the initial status by educational attainments grew over time. Social welfare policy and practice implications are discussed for middle-aged and elderly adults to improve attitudes toward their own aging.

This study investigates residents' living satisfaction with high-rise, mixed-use apartments built in the structures of reinforced concrete construction(RC) and with steel framed, reinforced concrete construction(SRC). The following study results were obtained: 1) Residents expressed below average satisfaction (below 3.0) with the common-area landscape and environmentally-friendly factors, children's playground and its facilities, community service for residents' by the management offices and utility plan. 2) According to the satisfaction of sound environment, residents of the SRC group expressed above average satisfaction. It can be concluded that noise problems around the residential area of the SRC group was well solved in this study. However, the residents of the SRC group expressed low satisfaction with the freshness of indoor air, humidity, and smell in the living quarters. 3) High-rise, mixed-use apartments should accommodate a familial life cycle, be designed as an environmentally friendly resting place in harmony with city life, and provide various communal programs for residents.

신정부의 탈원전 정책에 의해 급속하게 원자력계를 둘러싼 환경이 변하고 있다. 지금까지의 정부가 추진해온 원자력 중심의 전원계획이 신재생에너지 확대를 위한 계획으로 변화되어 가고 있다. 그리고 이러한 정부 정책 추진의 중심에는 매우 높은 대통령 지지율이 기반이 되고 있다. 하지만 여러 여론 조사 결과를 살펴보면 대통령은 약 65% 내외의 지지를 기록함에도 불구하고 원자력 활용에 대해서는 찬반 의견이 매우 팽팽하다. 즉, 원자력에 대한 이슈가 최근 에너지, 경제 문제가 아닌 정치 이슈가 된 상황에서도 원자력에 대해 지지를 보여주는 집단이 존재한다는 것을 뜻한다. 하지만 원자력을 지지하는 일반인들이 정치권과 탈핵 시민단체에서 원자력 분야를 소위 '적폐'로 규정하고 '원자력 마피아'로 명명한 상태에서 원자력에 대해 드러내놓고 지지하는 것은 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 연구는 우리나라의 어떠한 계층에서 원자력을 지지하는지, 즉 'Shy Nuclear'를 찾고 이 지지층들의 특징에 대해서 분석하였다. 지지층 분류를 위해서 머신러닝의 분류분석 기법인 Decision Tree Analysis(의사결정나무) 방법론을 활용하였다. 분석 결과 Shy Nuclear를 결정하는 주 요인은 거주지역으로 나타났다. 아울러 수도권에 거주하고 있는 사무/관리/전문직/퇴직자 집단이 가장 원자력에 높은 호감도(긍정 76.1%)를 보여주었다.

철골조 초고층아파트 내부의 스포츠 시설 운영시 이를 사용하는 시설의 종류와 운동양상에 따라 아파트 상하부층에 소음진동의 민원문제를 유발하게 된다. 초고층 아파트 내부에 스포츠 시설의 배치는 이를 이용하는 사용자에게 편리성의 주지만 철골조의 특성상 충격성 진동원이 발생하는 스포츠 시설은 상하부층인 아파트에 소음진동의 연향으로 인해 이를 방지하는 설계가 요구된다. 일반적인 아파트의 충간 소음진동문제는 이를 발생시키는 상부거주자의 예절과 충간 소음진동 저감기술이지만 아파트 내부의 동일층을 경계로 위치한 스포츠 시설은 시설의 사용성에 반해 하부층에 미치는 영향을 기술적으로 저감하여야 한다. 입주한 초고층아파트에 발생하는 소음진동문제를 풀기 위하여 스포츠 시설 하부층 아파트의 소음진동 기준을 선정하고 스포츠 시설의 주된 진동원인 런닝머신의 하중식을 산정하고 충간 소음진동 저감을 위한 대책을 제시하였다.

Archaeological survey has been carried out to find some evidence of human occupation in 31 caves in Pyeoungchang, Danyang, Jincheon, Goesan, Munkyoung, Boeun, Sangju in central limestone area of the Korean peninsula. Among those caves, some archaeological evidences were observed in 11 caves. Various types of potteries, animal bones and stone artifacts were collected on surface of sediments in caves. Among them, the Mosan cave in Munkyoung and the Kwangcheonseongul in Pyeoungchang are very likely to yield important archaeological remains in the well preserved deposits in the caves. Further researches are expected to provide significant information for explaining human living from prehistoric time to historical periods.

최근 초고층 건축물에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있고, 더욱이 건설기술의 발전에 힘입어 초고층 복합빌딩의 계획과 건설이 더욱 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 초고층 복합빌딩에서 화재 등과 같은 재난이 발생할 경우 거주자의 대피 및 소방공무원의 화재진압 활동이 어려워 국가적 재난으로 확대될 위험이 있다. 그렇기 때문에 초고층 복합빌딩물에서 발생하는 사고를 예방하거나 발생하는 사고의 피해를 최소화하는 등 재난관리를 통합적으로 하기 위한 방재정보센터의 운영이 무엇보다 중요시되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 초고층 복합빌딩의 개념과 문제점에 분석하고, 방재정보센터의 특성 및 향후 방안을 고찰하였다.
