Development of an EEG Software for Two-Channel Cerebral Function Monitoring System (2채널 뇌기능 감시 시스템을 위한 뇌파 소프트웨어의 개발)

  • This paper describes an EEG(electroencephalogram) software for two-channel cerebral function monitoring system to detect the cerebral ischemia. In the software, two-channel bipolar analog EEG signals are digitized and from the signals various EEG parameters are extracted and displayed on a monitor in real-time. Digitized EEG signal is transformed by FFT(Fast Fourier transform) and represented as CSA(compressed spectral array) and DSA(density spectral array). Additional 5 parameters, such as alpha ratio, percent delta, spectral edge frequency, total power, and difference in total power, are estimated using the FFT spectra. All of these are effectively merged in a monitor and displayed in real-time. Through animal experiments and clinical trials on men, the software is modified and enhanced. Since the software provides raw EEG, CSA, DSA, simultaneously with additional 5 parameters in a monitor, it is possible to observe patients multilaterally. For easy comparison of patient's status, reference patterns of CSA, DSA can be captured and displayed on top of the monitor. And user can mark events of surgical operation and patient's conditions on the software, this allow him jump to the points of events directly, when reviewing the recorded EEG file afterwards. Other functions, such as forward/backward jump, gain control, file management are equipped and these are operated by simple mouse click. Clinical tests in a university hospital show that the software responds accurately according to the conditions of patients and medical doctors can use the software easily.

Difference in Happiness Level of Workers Depending on the Leadership Type (상사의 리더십 유형에 따른 근로자의 행복 수준 차이)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the difference in happiness of workers depending on the perceived leadership types in a big company in Korea. The research objectives were 1) to identify the managers' leadership types which their workers perceive in a big corporate organization, and 2) to analyze the difference in a degree of workers' happiness according to the types of manager's leadership. To this end, a latent profile analysis was conducted. The research results are as follows. There were four types of leadership: 1) the Elite type which shows perfect ability in each area of self-management, task management, people management, and organization management, 2) the Competent type which has excellent self-management skills, good levels of task management and organizational management skills, but relatively poor people management skills, 3) the Self-centered type with the average levels of self-management, task management and organization management but with the poor level of people management skills, and lastly 4) the Passive type with the average level of self-management, somewhat low levels of task management and organization management skills and the poor level of people management skills. In addition, there was a statistically significant difference in the degree of happiness of workers according to the manager's leadership type. This study is meaningful in that it presented the leadership types of managers in a big company through the latent profile analysis and provided its implications on the workers' happiness.

  • Social Network Service(SNS) have become very popular during the past few years. Also SNS, an current communication platform, greatly contributes to transmit the information rapidly and strengthen a sense of community and fellowship in military service. however it has vulnerable factors. For example, invasion of privacy, exposure of personal information and military data. In this particular case, it is a deathblow to the military service. Military Social Network Service require to protect the military security threats and disclosure of defense secrets. For such reasons we need the secure SNS that protects from any attacks or vulnerable factors. We present classification of functional type and analysis the SNS architecture. The goal of this work is propose military SNS security functional requirements for practical use safely.

The effect of the transition of life course on changes in consumption patterns of Korean Households (한국 가계의 잠재소비유형 변화와 결정요인)

  • This study investigated the patterns of transition of consumption patterns in Korean households in 2010 and 2017, and the impact of the life cycle on the transition of consumption patterns between the two time points. Using information on 4,717 households from the 2010 and 2017 data of the Korean Labor Panel Survey, we examined the effect of the family life cycle on changes in consumption patterns. The results of the latent transition analysis on the change in consumption type showed that the change in consumption type between the two points of time at the household level was relatively active. The logistic regression models reported that the transition of consumption type varies depending on the life cycle, such as changes in marital status, birth and independence of children. These results provide the implication that it is necessary to consider from the perspective of the family life course how the transition between their consumption types occurs when the government establishes consumption policies and companies set marketing target groups.

  • 외계행성 탐색시스템 운영현황과 계획을 소개한다. 2017년 관측장비 가동율은 97.4% 이며, 시스템이 설치된 3개 천문대에서 천문박명시간을 기준으로 총 10,157 시간이 연구에 할당되었고 총 7,178 시간 관측이 이루어졌다. 관측시스템의 성능개선을 위해 주경 코팅, 돔 레벨조정, 망원경 구동롤러 정렬, 주경 배플 마스크 설치 등 돔과 망원경의 기계부 업그레이드와 카메라 전자부 조정 및 앰프보드 교체 등이 이루어졌다. 관측효율 향상을 위해 1년간 관측된 약 177,000 장의 자료를 분석하여 불량자료 태깅기반을 마련했고, 시상모니터링과 관측 스크립트 코드를 개발하여 현재 관측에 적용하고 있다. 관측 자료는 각 연구 프로그램의 자료공개 정책에 따라 영상형태 또는 측광 파일형태로 이용이 가능하며, 관측로그는 홈페이지를 통해 확인할 수 있다. 2020년 10월부터 시작되는 2단계 관측 프로그램 선정을 위해 2019년 상반기에 관측제안서를 접수받아 하반기에 선정을 마칠 계획이며, 다양한 연구주제 발굴을 위해 파일롯 프로그램을 선별 지원할 계획이다.

  • 이 연구에서는 ESRI사의 ArcGIS 프로그램을 이용하여, 한반도 남한지역 중 기후변화시나리오에 의한 강수량이 제공되지 않는 해안선지역에 대해 기후변화시나리오를 이용하여 장래 강수량을 생성할 수 있는 모형을 개발하였다. 기상청에서 제공하는 기후변화 시나리오에 의한 장래강수데이터의 경우 복잡한 해안선지역에 대해 장래 강수데이터를 제공하고 있지 않기 때문에 최근의 지형도를 적용하여 기상청에서 제공하지 않는 지역에 대해 보완격자를 생성하고, 공간보간 기법을 이용하여 이를 해결할 수 있다. 1km 격자단위의 강수데이터를 생성하기 위하여 GIS내에 여러 툴(tools)의 기능을 단계적으로 모형화하여 순서화된 작업을 자동적으로 수행할 수 있는 model builder를 사용하였다. 데이터 변환작업을 위한 전처리, 데이터 보간 추출 기능과 공간보간기법을 적용하여 기후변화 시나리오가 적용된 데이터누락지역에서의 장래 강수예측데이터를 생성할 수 있도록 하였다. 기상청에서 제공하는 RCP 8.5 시나리오를 이용하였고, 일부 해안선과 섬 지역에 대해 장래강수량을 생성할 수 있는 보간기법이 적용된 모형으로 한반도 남한지역 중 강수자료가 제공되지 않는 총 4,186개의 격자에 대해 적합한 공간보간기법을 선택하여, 일단위 및 월단위 강수자료를 생산할 수 있도록 하였다. 기상청에서 제공하는 강수데이터의 경우 'ASCII' 파일 형식으로 기후변화 데이터를 제공하기 때문에 사용자가 별도의 프로그램을 이용하여 강수예측자료를 얻어야 하는 문제가 있다. 강수예측자료를 텍스트파일 형태로 사용자가 원하는 좌표를 선택 한 후 데이터를 추출할 수 있도록 격자화하여 저장되도록 하였다.

  • Recently, smartphone has being most popular mobile device in mobile market, not around the world, but in domestic. In Korea, there are about 710 million people are using smartphone in 2010, and it is expected that about 1 billion people will use smartphone in next year. However, with exponential growth of smartphone, several security issues come to the fore. Because, the smartphone store various private information to provide user customized services, smartphone security can be regarded most critical issues than security of other devices. However, leak of awareness for security may cause many security accidents in present. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze security features of smartphone and propose a protection profile based on Common Criteria v3.1. Our work can be distributed for developer and user of smartphone to estimate security of smartphone.

(Real Time Classification System for Lead Pin Images) (실시간 Lead Pin 영상 분류 시스템)

  • To classify real time Lead pin images in this paper, The image acquisition system was composed to C.C.D, image frame grabber(DT3153), P.C(PentiumIII). I proposed image processing algorithms. This algorithms were composed to real time monitoring, Lead Pin image acquisition, image noise deletion, object area detection, point detection and pattern classification algorithm. The raw images were acquired from Lead pin images using the system. The result images were obtained from raw images by image processing algorithms. In implemental result, The right recognition was 97 of 100 acceptable products, 95 of 100 defective products. The recognition rate was 96% for total 200 Lead Pins.

  • 블루투스 전송 기술은 2.4㎓ 의 ISM(Industrial Scientific Medicine)밴드에서 주파수 호핑 방식을 사용한다. 주파수 호핑율은 연결 상태에서 초당 1600회, 조회 또는 호출 상태에서 초당 3200회의 호핑을 한다. Hop 채널 선택은 블루투스 표준안에서 제시한 5개의 호핑 시퀸스 중 하나를 선택하고 호핑 주파수에 따라 이를 매핑 함으로써 이루어진다. 본 논문에서는 6개의 상태에 따라 다르게 실행되는 채널 계산을 효율적으로 제어하고 필요한 연산모듈의 수를 줄이기 위해 9비트 프로세서를 이용해 Hop 선택 모듈을 설계하고 구현한다. 설계된 모듈은 레지스터 파일, 마이크로프로그램 제어장치, 가산, 치환(permutation), Modulo 계산을 위한 3개의 연산장치로 구성된다. Hop 채널 계산 중 가장 클럭 소요가 큰 Modulo 연산은 SRT나눗셈 알고리즘을 사용하여 음수 값 계산 및 연산 속도 향상을 꾀하였다. 제시된 Hop 선택 모듈은 하드웨어 묘사언어인 VHDL로 설계하고 시뮬레이션 및 테스트는 Xilinx FPGA를 이용해 검증하였다.
