Recently, healthy life has become an issue in an aging society, and the number of people who have been interested in continuous health care for better life is increasing. In this paper, we implemented a personalized recommendation systm to provide convenient healthcare management for user. The PHR (Personal Health Record) of user could be stored in the server along with health related information such as lifestyle, disease, and physical condition. The users could be classified into similar clusters according to the PHR profile in order to provide healthcare contents to the users who had similar PHR profile. K-Means clustering was applied to generate clusters based on PHR profile and ACDT(Ant Colony Decision Tree) algorithm was used to provide personalised recommendation of health information stored in knowledge base. The app system developed in this paper is useful for users to perform healthcare themselves by providing information on serious diseases and lifestyle habits to be improved according to the clusters classified by PHR profile.

A new chi-square test is proposed to assess significance of attributes for nonparametric conjoint models. The key idea is to form subsets of rankings and test the dependence between the attribute levels and the sets of rankings. The null hypothesis states that the rankings for profiles with the focal attribute are distributed randomly among the sets of rankings. The approach is simple, easy to use, and can be applied at the individual level as well as at the aggregate level. It can be used for the trade-off approach as well as for the full profile approach.

소형 공조장치용 냉매 압축기 부품인 기계식 제어 밸브는 에어컨 컴프레서의 핵심부품이고 년간 수백만 개가 국내에 수입된다. 이를 국산화 하기 위하여 진공로 속에서의 브레이징 공정이 수반되는 외국제품의 제조공정을 탈피하여 진공 속에서 DC 프로젝션 용접을 수행하는 기법을 개발하였다. 실린더 형상의 캡과 케이스를 맞대고 그 사이에 박판을 삽입한 상태에서 butt welding 방식으로 진행되는 본 공정에서는, 생산성이 높고 서보가압 장치를 사용하여 soft touch 를 구현하므로 프로젝션이 손상되지 않은 상태에서 통전이 시작되고 2 단 가압 및 프로파일 가압이 가능하므로 링(ring)형상의 너깃이 축대칭으로 안정적으로 형성되기 때문에 실린더 내부의 밀봉성능이 우수함을 확인하였다. 진공로 속에서 본 가압장치를 설치하여 간편한 방법으로 실린더 내부의 진공상태를 유지할 수 있기 때문에 진공로 속에서의 브레이징 공정이 적용되는 외국제품보다 생산성이 월등함을 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발된 링 프로젝션(ring projection) 용접기법은 초소형 및 소형 실린더 형상의 부품 내부를 진공으로 유지해야 하는 산업현장에서 당장 적용될 수 있는 혁신적인 용접공정이라 판단된다.

In this paper, a new program recommendation system is proposed to recommend user preferred VOD program in IPTV environment. A proposed system is implemented with collaborative filtering method. For a user profile which describes user program preference, a program preference, sub-genre preference, and US(user similarity) weight of the user neighborhood is averaged and updated every week. In order to evaluate system performance, real 24-weeks cable TV watching data provided by Nilson Research Corp. are modified to fit for IPTV broadcasting environment and the simulation result shows quite comparative quality of recommendation. The experimental results optimum performance when user similarity based weighting, five person per group and five recommendation programs are used.

Recently, GIS(Geographic Information System) has been developed to personalized service for providing the specialized services that is aimed to personal user based on mobile communication. The existing GIS system provides comprehensive and simple information but GIS System for personalized service must provide the adjustive information through the personal interest profile based on POI(PoInt of Interest). This paper describes the intelligent retrieval geographical information service module for providing personal oriented geographic information service. Our proposal model consists of user preference profile, acquisition of POI through hybrid network (Wireless LAN, CDMA), service platform and implementation of prototype system. Implementation model can apply to the life information service like restaurant, oil station, convenient store and etc.

A real-time pupil detection system that detects the pupil movement from the real-time video data achieved by the visual light camera for general purpose personal computer is proposed. It is implemented with three steps; at first, face region is detected using the Haar-like feature detection scheme, and then eye region is detected within the face region using the template-based scheme. Finally, pupil movement is detected within the eye region by convolution of the horizontal and vertical histogram profiling and Gaussian filter. As results, we obtained more than 90% of the detection rate from 2375 simulation images and the data processing time is about 160㎳, that detects 7 times per second.

In the virtual home environment (VHE), which was proposed to offer global roaming and personal service environment portability, user's profiles and service logics are conveyed from home network to visited network to provide services at the visited network. Because user's profiles and service logics may contain confidential information, some procedures for mutual authentication among entities for offering confidence are needed. For these issues, we propose and analyze three 3-Party mutual authentication Protocols adaptable to the VHE in 3G ; password based mutual authentication protocol, mutual authentication protocol with CHAP and key exchange and mutual authentication protocol with trusted third party.

This paper proposes enhanced features for the Universal Telecommunications (UPT), voice authentication and voice synthesis, using the specialized resources functions in the Intelligent peripheral(IP). The proposed voice authentication is able ti provide simple and user-friendly security mechanism and to prevent unauthorized users from fraudulently using the UPT number. Also, traditional UPT service deliveries only fixed message to the UPT user, but the proposed UPT service can support flexible message transfer by use of the voice synthesis.

Currently, the growing cyber threat continues, the damage caused by the evolution of malicious code incidents become more bigger. Such advanced attacks as APT using 'zero-day vulnerability' bring easy way to steal sensitive data or personal information. However it has a lot of limitation that the traditional ways of defense like 'access control' with blocking of application ports or signature base detection mechanism. This study is suggesting a way of controlling application activities focusing on keeping integrity of applications, authorization to running programs and changes of files of operating system by hardening of legitimate resources and programs based on 'white-listing' technology which analysis applications' behavior and its usage.

Rice has been the most important staple food in everyday meals of Korean people for thousands of years. Nowadays, it is getting increasingly used as flour ingredients in a variety of processed foods, so that it is consumed in more diversified ways. As a consequence, production volume of rice flour to manufacture rice cakes, noodles, breads, or confectioneries is recently getting increased in Korea. But there are not sufficient research outcomes to guarantee Korean consumers microbiological qualities of rice flour as well as rice. As a preliminary experiment, therefore, the microbiological profiles (aerobic mesophilic bacteria (AMB), spore-forming aerobic bacteria (SAB), lactic acid bacteria (LAB), yeasts and molds (YM), and Escherichia coli and coliforms) have been monitored for nine retailed white rice samples in this study. AMB counts ranged $10^2-10^6$ CFU/g for all the nine white rice samples. All the nine rice samples have SAB counts within a narrow range $(1.0{\times}10^2-2.5{\times}10^3$ CFU/g). LAB was detected in two white rice samples ($4.0{\times}10^2$ and $3.7{\times}10^3$ CFU/g), YM was detected in one white rice sample ($2.0{\times}10^2$ CFU/g) only. E. coli was not detected from all the nine samples. Coliforms were detected in one white rice sample ($4.1{\times}10$ CFU/g) only. All the rice samples were conclusively considered to have various microorganisms, though most of them are harmless and some, such as coliforms, may be harmful.
