Analysis of the Spatial Structure of Kazuyo Sejima & Ryue Nishizawa's House Designs (세지마 카즈요 및 니시자와 류에 주택의 공간구조분석 연구)

  • This paper analyzes the house designs of Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa from the 1900s to the early 2000s' works. By analyzing the degree of space integration of each house using the Convex Map of the Space Syntax Theory, this study arrived at the following conclusions in the respects of private space and public space. First, from period 1 (the 1990s) to period 2 (the first half of the 2000s), the differences between average integration values of private space and public space in their works have decreased. Over time, in general, average integration values of private space have increased, and, on the other hand, those of public space have decreased, leading to smaller differences between two sets of values, which means that, as the integration degrees of private and public spaces have become similar, the boundary which divides spaces becomes blurry. Second, in terms of private space, average integration values of private space in S-3 (House in a Plum Grove) and S-4 (House in China), works of period 2, are the highest among those values of their all 10 works. We can identify that, closure degrees of private space in their works have fallen over time. Third, in terms of public space, average integration values of I-2 (Villa in the Forest), I-5 (S-House), and I-6 (Weekend House), works of period 1, are the highest among those values of their all 10 works. Public space has become more central and open from period 1 to period 2.

Statistical Analysis of the Structure and Performance of Fire Doors for Evacuation Space and Common Areas in Apartment Housing (공동주택 대피공간·공용부 방화문 구조 및 성능에 관한 통계적 분석)

  • Fire resistance performance and performance design of fire doors are becoming more important to prevent the spread of fire and support the rapid evacuation of apartment buildings. In this study, a database using 182 evacuation spaces and 308 common areas that passed the fire performance test was established, and fire door performance influencing factors were derived through an analysis of the structure(12 elements) of the fire door. As a result, the effects of fire-resisting filler density, adhesive, and foam gasket were confirmed for evacuation space, and the effects of fire-resisting filler, adhesive, and fire fins were confirmed for common areas. In the fire door fire resistance test, flames and cracks were analyzed as the most frequent failure factors.

The Planning of Common and Living Space in the Dormitory Buildings on Campus - Focused on the Dormitory Buildings in Chung-chung Province - (대학기숙사의 공용 및 개인생활공간 계획 - 충청권 소재 대학기숙사 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • This study aims to investigate planning characteristics of common and living space in the dormitory buildings on campus in Chungcheong province. A document research method was used to analyze and classified into floor-plan, zoning and area. Also site visits were conducted at 8 dormitory buildings of 4 universities, and drawings were collected and compared for this research. The results of this study were as follows; 1)Most floor plans of public spaces had corridor types and integrated public space types. The typical floorplan of living space was 2person-1bedroom and apartment type which shared livingroom, bathroom, restroom and shower between bedrooms. The living space type of dormitory buildings was more complex and growth in size. Unit community combined 2-4person per 1bedroom in floor plan can help student with identity and affiliated formation. 2)The types of the spatial composition in public spaces were devided into three zones; study, living and administrative zones such as seminar room, public bathroom and storage, etc. This results shows that various types of public space for the improvement of community of small group has recently become more important than basic sanitary space in public space of dormitory buildings on campus.

A Study on the Innovation of an Office Space by Post Occupancy Evaluation (거주후평가(P.O.E)에 의한 오피스공간의 개선방안에 관한 연구)

  • Increasing the user's need in the building facilities, the architects, engineers, and building managers must consider the user's opinion when they plan and construct the buildings. When planning and managing of the buildings, accepting the user's opinion is desirable and indispensible to solve the Problems about the architectural facilities between suppliers and users. To supply the efficient working environments, use the check listing tools and operate the post occupancy evaluation. The real estate and development company is selected for the evaluation. It is renovated in 2000 to fit in its working environment. The process of the evaluation is proceeded both private and group working spaces and facility and management of the buildings with 10 categories. Following the result of Post occupancy evaluation, the users of the building are mostly satisfied with their working environments after the renovation. However, the categories in thermal environment and indoor air and supply for office work need to be improved in advance.

  • '20년 3월 현재 전국 3,502개 읍면동 중 73개 읍면동이 지하수를 상수원으로 급수 중이며, 48개 산업단지에서 지하수를 주 수원으로 사용 중이다. 또한 급수 소외지역의 물 공급을 위해 주로 사용되는 소규모수도시설 14,811개 중 12,073개(81.5%)는 지하수를 이용하고 있으며, 그 위치는 전국에 산재해 있다. 이처럼 지하수는 댐, 저수지 및 하천과 더불어 생·공용수의 중요한 수원이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 급수 소외지역의 주요 수원인 지하수위 현황을 이용한 가뭄 모니터링 및 전망 기법을 개발하고자 하였다. 국가 지하수관측망 중 10년 이상 장기 관측 자료를 보유한 253개 관측소의 일단위 관측자료를 기반으로, 과거 관측수위 분포를 핵밀도함수로 추정하고 Quantile Function을 이용해 현재 수위의 높고 낮은 정도를 Percentile 값으로 산정하였다. 관측소별 지하수위 Percentile은 티센망을 이용해 167개 시군별로 공간평균하고 Percentile의 범위에 따른 가뭄등급을 설정하여 지하수 가뭄 정도를 모니터링 할 수 있는 기법을 제시하였다. 또한 지하수 가뭄을 전망하기 위해 강수와 지하수위의 거시적인 응답특성을 이용하였다. 관측소별로 추정된 핵밀도함수의 누적확률을 표준정규분포의 Quantile로 변환하여 표준지하수지수I(Standardized Groundwater level Index, SGI)를 산정하고, 시군별로 공간을 일치시킨 1~12개월 지속기간별 표준강수지수(Standardized Precipitation Index, SPI)와의 상관관계를 이용해 NARX(nonlinear autoregressive exogenous) 인공신경망 예측모형을 구축하였다. 이를 통해 기상청 정량전망 강수량을 이용해 전국의 1~3개월 후 지하수 가뭄을 빠르게 전망할 수 있는 체계를 구축하고, 생·공용수 분야 국가 가뭄 예·경보의 미급수지역 가뭄현황 및 전망에 활용중이다.

  • Since beginning of subway construction in 1974, for supplying the demand for increasing urban traffic and solving the traffic jam due to expansion of society and elevation of an individual income, the $1^{st}\;and\;2^{nd}$ construction have been almost done and $3^{rd}$ has been driving forward. However, according to an increment of com-mon usage with the passage of time, structures are superannuated and the amount of improvement and repairs keeps on increasing continuous. And many problems are taking place at underground space because of new constructions for underground facilities such as urban gas, electric power, waterworks, and sewerage. In consequence. The consideration of a counterplan for safety is required deeply This study analyzed problems on maintenance of structure about $1^{st}$ class subway, and will present means that a manage civil structures scientifically and systematically by using GSIS concept that imported into several organizations for facility management recently as making digital graphic elements and historic data into a database rather than using an old method - documents and paper drawings.

  • This lecture support system can be used to smoothly transfer the sound in the auditorium or the particular outdoor space. Commercial lecture support system is useful but very expensive. Therefore in this paper we have designed and developed lecture support system using a mobile phone. We can exactly hear the lecture in difficult situation using this system. The system provides the ability to save a lecture in the storage, so we can hear the lecture repeatedly.

  • Since the 5th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Special Education in 2013, special schools have been trying to improve facility standards to advance special education support. The purpose of this study is to find out the current status of the spatial composition of facilities for public special schools that will be established and planned after 2013, and analyze the differences from the existing school spatial composition to determine the space composition ratio and details required for the establishment of special schools in the future. As a result of the analysis, the total area of facilities of special schools established after 2013 increased by an average of 1,822.1㎡ (about 16%). Through actual drawing analysis, it was confirmed that both the dedicated area and the public area had increased. The cause of the increase in the public area was confirmed to be an increase in hallway width and ramps, halls, and toilet between classrooms, and the reason for the increase in the dedicated area was that the newly installed 'Learning Support Space' had an average of 20 additional rooms installed per school.

  • This study aims to identify the key points of architectural planning for floating residential architecture. For this purpose, this study analyses 6 kinds of standards about floating architecture and 14 cases of floating residential architecture. As a result, this study finds out 4 points of architectural planning for floating residential architecture; first, planning of access to upland and walkway, second, public facilities and community space planning, third, planning of various equipment, material and fixed extinguishing system for fire prevention, forth, modular system planning including manufacturing, transporting and installation of modular house.

  • 한국디자인진흥원(원장 윤주현)과 산업통상자원부는 2018 우수디자인(GD)상품 선정 및 수상결과를 발표했다. 2018년에는 875점이 출품돼 총 339점이 GD로 선정되었으며(선정율 39%), 이 중 대통령상을 비롯한 국무총리상, 장관상, 원장상 등 총78점이 최종 수상했다. 우수디자인(GD)상품 선정은 최근 2년 이내 국내 또는 국외에서 판매를 개시하였거나 당해연도 판매 예정인 상품을 대상으로 제품, 커뮤니케이션, 포장, 공간환경, 서비스 등 총39개 분야에서 선정하고 있다. 포장부문은 소비자제품, 식음료, 뷰티/헬스, 의약품, 산업/B2B, 기타포장 등 6개항목으로 구성됐다. 올해 포장 부문에서는 롯데제과의 '애니타임'과 (주)애경산업의 '팬톤+2080'이 산업통상자원부장관상을, 디토의 '막걸리 공용 용기', (주)헤즈의 '프레스킷 디자인'이 중소벤처기업부장관상을, CJ제일제당의 '워터젤리 제로' 등 8개 제품이 KIDP원장상을 수상했다. 다음에 우수디자인으로 선정된 포장부문 제품들을 살펴보도록 한다.
