The semantic web environment promise semantic search of heterogeneous data from distributed web page. Semantic search would resuit in an overwhelming number of results for users is increased, therefore elevating the need for appropriate personalized ranking schemes. Culture Finder helps semantic web agents obtain personalized culture information. It extracts meta data for each web page(culture news, culture performance, culture exhibition), perform semantic search and compute result ranking point to base user profile. In order to work efficient, Culture Finder uses five major technique: Machine learning technique for generating user profile from user search behavior and meta data repository, an efficient semantic search system for semantic web agent, query analysis for representing query and query result, personalized ranking method to provide suitable search result to user, upper ontology for generating meta data. In this paper, we also present the structure used in the Culture Finder to support personalized search service.

Since the existing Web search engines don't sufficiently reflect user's search intent, it is very difficult to find out accurate information that users want to find. Therefore, a lot of researches, study for personalized search, to enhance satisfaction of Web search results by analyzing search pattern and applying it to search are in progress in these days. Web searchers can more efficiently find information and easily obtain appropriate information through the personalized search. In this paper, we propose the personalized search based on community through the analysis of web users' query patterns and interest. Consequently, when applying query frequency, interest and community to web search, we are able to the confirm that the search results which hit to the search intent of the individual are provided.

In this paper, the framework of a personalized search system designing and can perform features which are suitable for each contents by using various contents a feature was developed. In addition, by using various contents including the domestic paper, patent, trend information, and etc., it applied to the various algorithm of the personalized search system.

본 논문에서는 주제별 분류기반의 개인화 검색시스템의 평가를 위해서 기존의 한글 정보 검색시스템 평가를 위해서 사용하는 한글 테스트 컬렉션(HANTEC v2.0)을 사용하였다. 주제별 분류기반의 개인화 검색 시스템의 평가를 위해서 첫째, 한글 테스트 컬렉션을 한국일보-40075 문서분류 테스트 컬렉션을 이용하여 주제별 분류를 수행 하였다. 둘째, 한국일보-40075 문서분류 테스트 컬렉션의 분류 체계에 다라 한글 테스트 컬렉션의 문서들을 kNN 분류기를 이용하여 분류를 수행하였다. 마지막으로 구축된 컬렉션을 이용하여 주제별 분류기반의 개인화 검색시스템의 성능 평가를 수행하였다.

Personalized web search engine provides personalized results to users by query expansion, re-ranking or other methods representing user's intention. The personalized result page includes URL, page title and small text fragment of each web document. which is known as snippet. The snippet is the summary of the document which includes the keywords issued by either user or search engine itself. Users can verify the relevancy of the whole document using only the snippet, easily. The document summary (snippet) is an important information which makes users determine whether or not to click the link to the whole document. Hence, if a search engine generates personalized document summaries, it can provide a more satisfactory search results to users. In this paper, we propose a personalized document summary system for personalized web search engines. The proposed system provides increased degree of satisfaction to users with marginal overhead.

현재 웹 서비스에서 사용하고 있는 키워드 기반 검색은 syntactic한 정보만을 제공한다. 웹 서비스의 이러한 단점을 보안하고자 시멘틱 웹 기술이 제안되고 있다. DQL 검색 시스템은 검색 결과의 질을 향상시키기 위해서 시멘틱 웹 기반의 검색 시스템 중지 하나다. 시멘틱 검색은 입력된 질의들을 통해서 사용자가 원하는 정보와 의미가 일치하는 결과를 얻어내는 것이다. 본 논문은 시스템을 이용하는 각 사용자에 따라 검색되는 결과들에 우선순위를 적용하는 DQL 검색 시스템을 제안하고 다음 3가지 부분에 중점을 두어 시스템을 설계하였다. 첫째, 각 사용자들의 성향을 검색 결과에 반영하기 위해 개인화 프로파일과 온톨로지를 생성하는 개인화 온톨로지 생성기를 설계한다. 둘째. 검색 정확도틀 논이기 위해 검색 대상에 되는 정보들의 숙성과 관계를 추론해주는 검색 엔진을 설계한다. 마지막으로 DQL 검색 시스템의 사용 효율성을 높이기 위해 사용자가 입력한 키워드를 DQL로 자동 변환하는 DQL 컨버터를 설계한다.

Many search algorithms have been implemented by many researchers on the world wide web. One of the best algorithms is Google using PageRank technology, PageRank approach, computes the number of inlink of each documents then represents documents in order of many inlink. But It is difficult to find the results that user needs. Because this method finds documents not valueable for a person but valueable for public, this paper propose a personalized search engine mixed public with personal worth to solve this problem.

Search engines provide web documents that are related to user's query. However, using only the query terms that user provided, it is hard for search engines to know user's exact intention and provide the very matching web documents. To remedy this problem, search systems are needed to exploit personalized search technologies. In this paper, we propose not only a novel personalized query recommendation scheme based on folksonomy but also a new personalized search service architecture which reduces the risk of privacy violation while enabling search service providers to provide other various personalized services such as personalized advertisement.

In this research, we analyze about the general service provided by Society of Korean journal articles of science and technology. Personalized retrieval services which are suitable to the articles service were developed based on this. That is, there are personalized retrieval system based on user's keyword, authors navigation system, automatic topic recommendation system based on author's keyword, and similar user automatic recommendation system. In this research, personalized service methods being suitable to the articles service of Society tries to be considered through the user survey.

PDA(Personal Digital Assistant)와 같은 Mobile 이동통신기기를 사용한 인터넷 쇼핑은 향후 E-Commerce 시장에서 가장 크게 확산되어질 한 분야로 부상되고 있다. 그러나 현재 인터넷상에 혼재 되어있는 수많은 정보에 대하여 Mobile Environment상의 제한된 Screen Size와 더불어 느린 통신 속도, 무선 인터넷 접속시의 높은 비용 등의 문제로 다량의 정보에 대한 확인과 검색이 어렵고, 고객이 원하지 않는 정보 또한 산재되어 있어 개인화(Personalization)된 검색 서비스의 요구가 대두되는 실정이다. 이로 인해 본 연구에서는 PDA 및 Handhold PC를 이용하는 User의 취향 정보와 만족도 등을 기준으로 보다 편리하고 효율적인 개인화 Interface의 제공 및 이를 이용한 손쉬운 검색 방식을 제시한다. 또한 User 인터랙션 정보를 통해 Feedback함으로써 보다 완벽하게 User 개인별 취향에 접근할 수 있는 Browsing기법을 제시한다.
