  • This study conducted a survey of social welfare facility workers in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do from May 21 to May 24, 2019 to empirically analyze the effect of job rotation on work efficiency and job satisfaction. Individual development of job rotaion (independent variable), job satisfaction (dependent variable), work efficiency (mediating variable), and work overload (moderating variable) were set as variables of the research model. For the questions of all variables, the Likert 5-point scale was used, the SPSS version 24.0 was used as an empirical analysis tool to verify the hypothesis, descriptive statistics and reliability analysis were performed, and the mediating effect and moderating effect were analyzed using SPSS PROCESS macro 4.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was analyzed that the individual development of job rotation did not significantly affect job satisfaction. Second, it was found that work efficiency fully mediated the relationship between individual development of job rotation and job satisfaction. Finally, it was found that the interaction term between work efficiency and job overload had a negative effect on job satisfaction and had a moderated mediating effect.

  • This study investigates the effects of three types of person-environment fit, i.e. POF, PJF(ability) and PJF(needs), on effectiveness variables and the mediating effect of work motivation in SMEs. The data were collected from 211 employees who work for SMEs. Results of structural equation modeling(SEM) analyses demonstrated that PJF(ability) was significantly associated with task performance and turnover intention, while POF and PJF(needs) were significantly associated with turnover intention only. PJF(needs) and PJF(ability) have the positive impact on intrinsic motivation, PJF(ability) also has the positive impact on external and identified motivation. We also analysed mediating effects using Process macro. Results demonstrated that intrinsic motivation mediated the relationship between POF, PJF(needs), PJF(ability) and task performance. The relationship between PJF(ability) and task performance was mediated by external motivation. Based on the results, theoretical and practical implications are derived. Also suggested are methodological limitations and future research directions.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the direct effects of PSM on job satisfaction (JS) and perceived job performance (PJP) in public institutions and to identify indirect effects of the mediator. In particular, we define the person-organization fit (POF) used as the mediator as the fitness of the personnel system and identify the influence of POF in the relationship between PSM, JS, and PJP. The questionnaires used in this study were conducted for the members of Changwon Public Health Center and empirical analysis using structural equation modeling was conducted and the following results were obtained. First, PSM in the integrated public service organization has a positive effect on JS and PJP. Second, PSM shows that JS and PJP of organization members are improved through mediating effect of POF. It can be concluded that PSM can improve JS and PJP through institutional fit between members and organizations.

Samples include 1,031 teachers in elementary school from Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) and data were analyzed using Latent Class Analysis(LCA) to identify different patterns of teacher-efficacy and perception of principals' leadership and peer collaboration. Multivariate analysis of variance were employed to identify the influence of predictors for classification of teachers' job stress and job satisfaction among latent classes. The study found three latent classes at risk class, middle-level adaptive class, and adaptive class and results showed that each distinctive class can be identified by some of predictors. Teachers at adaptive class showed higher teacher-efficacy and positive perception of principals' leadership and peer collaboration than teachers at risk and middle-level adaptive class. Also, teachers at adaptive class showed lower job stress and higher job satisfaction than teachers at two other classes. The study suggests that help teachers based on personal profile are effective rather teacher-efficacy and perception of principals' leadership and peer collaboration.
