인터넷 서비스의 이용자가 증가함에 따라 데이터 망의 구축을 위한 투자의 필요성이 제기되고 있으며, 여러 벤더들로부터 최적의 장비를 구입하여 망을 구축할 수 있도록, 통신 장비들의 상호 운용성을 지원하는 개방형 구조의 망 및 교환 시스템을 표준화하는 작업이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 개방형 교환 시스템에서 사용되는 MEGACO 프로토콜을 SDL 형식으로 설계한다. 개방형 교환 시스템은 시스템의 각 구성 요소마다 시장 경쟁 개념이 도입될 수 있도록 수평적 계층구조를 갖추고 있다. 각 계층마다 표준 인터페이스를 정의하고, 이 규격을 만족하는 다수의 벤더들로부터 성능이 우수하고 기능이 뛰어난 모들을 제공받을 수 있으므로, 망 사업자들은 특정 벤더에 종속되지 않고 개선된 양질의 서비스를 경제적으로 제공할 수 있는 개방형 교환 시스템을 쉽게 구축할 수 있게 된다.

Information and communication technologies (ICT) have been combined with products from other industries to provide new functionality, as recently shown in the cases of Internet of Things (IoT). Modularity assumes a crucial role in such technological convergence, and has impacts on the relationship between organizations as well as competition within an industry. Interface standards, which ensure the connectivity between modules, serve as a critical factor in the process by which modularity affects organization systems and industry structure. To understand the aforementioned phenomenon, we studied modularity and interface standards with a focus on the interaction between technology and organization systems and subsequent changes in industrial dynamics. This paper examines previous literature on modularity and interface standards in the aspects of product architecture, organization systems, and institutional factors. With this analytical framework, we conducted a comparative analysis of electronic and automotive industries to derive implications for standardization policy. This research has shown the significance of external open interface standards in shaping an industrial landscape where a variety of module producers horizontally compete. It also advises that policymakers take into account product characteristics, engagement of leading firms in an industry, and institutional factors such as WTO law in the design of standardization policy.

발전소의 안정적 운영을 위한 발전소 운전원의 훈련에는 기준 발전소 주제어실의 각종 패널라 계기들을 기계적으로 동일하게 만들고 정확한 수학적 모델로 발전소 시스템을 모사한 전 범위 시뮬레이터가 주로 이용된다. 전범위 시뮬레이터는 실제 현장을 모사하는 시뮬레이션 컴퓨터와 주제어실의 패널 계기들을 연결시켜 주는 I/O 인터페이스 시스템을 필요로 한다. 기 설치 운용되고 있는 선행 호기 시뮬레이터를 보면 주 공급업체는 모델링 기술을 가지고 있는 업체가 맡고, I/O 인터페이스 시스템은 I/O 모듈과 네트웍 프로토콜까지 협력업체나 자사의 독자 모델을 취하고 있다. 그러나 I/O 모듈의 제작사가 대부분 외국의 특정 업체여서 예비품의 입수가 용이하지 않아 유지보수가 어렵고, 많은 비용을 지불해야 하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 따라서, 유지보수 용이성과 경제적 측면에서 특정 벤더 규격에 종속되지 않고 일반적인 표준을 따르는 off-the-shelf 제품을 이용하는 발전소 시뮬레이터 I/O 인터페이스 시스템의 구축이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 화력 발전소와 원자력 발전소를 대상으로 시뮬레이터 I/O 인터페이스 시스템의 요구사양을 소개하고, 네트웍에서 시스템 아키텍처까지 개방형 인터페이스 방식의 상용 제품을 채용하는 PC기반 시뮬레이터 I/O 인터페이스 시스템 구축방안을 제시하고, 성능 예측을 통해 제안한 시스템 구축 방안의 효용성을 보인다.

지리 정보 자원을 서로 공유하기 위한 표준으로 OGC의 OpenGIS simple feature specification이 있다. Feature의 집합을 다루는 Featurelterator 인터페이스에서 기존의 인터페이스는 서버에 새로운 Feature나 Geometry 객체를 생성하고 클라이언트가 이를 다시 접근 해야하는 비효율성이 존재한다. 그래서 서버에 접근하는 비용을 줄이기 위해, 클라이언트가 서버의 Feature들을 접근하는 방법인, 새로운 get_WKSGeometries 인터페이스를 제안하고 구현한다. 이 인터페이스는 서버에 객체를 생성하는 것이 아니라, WKS 형태로 Feature의 데이터를 클라이언트에 직접 전달함으로써 클라이언트가 서버에 재접근을 요구하지 않는다. 따라서, 이 논문에서 제안한 get_WKSGeometries 인터페이스를 이용하면, 클라이언트가 서버에 접근하는 비용을 줄이고 성능을 향상시키도록 하였다. 아울러 구현 명세를 구현하고 새로운 인터페이스를 제안 검증하였다.

최근 들어 컴퓨터 통신의 확산과 함께 인터넷의 사용이 전 세계적으로 급증함에 따라 인터넷의 용도는 지금까지의 학술 및 연구를 대상으로한 정보 공유의 목적에서 인터넷을 마케팅의 대상으로 보고 이를 상업적으로 이용하려는 시도가 증가하고 있다. 이미 선진 외국의 경우에는 Mon-dex, Visa cash, Proton 등의 다양한 전자화폐 상품이 개발되어 사용되고 있으나 국제 호환성의 측면에서는 아직 미미한 형편이며 국제간 통용이 가능한 개방형 전자화폐 시스템 개발은 매우 필요하다. 소액지불 시스템의 국제 표준규격으로 인정받고 있는 CEPS(Common Electronic Purse Specification) 기반의 개방형 전자화폐 teem 시스템은 EMV(Europay, Master, Visa) 규격을 준용하고, PKI 기반의 보안기능을 채택하여 지불거래시 반드시 확보되어야 할 거래 데이타의 비밀성, 무결성, 부인방지 기능과 PIN(Personal Identification Number)를 이용한 사용자 인증을 제공하며 구매거래시 IC카드와 가맹점의 구매 단말기(POS)와의 오프라인 동적데이타 인증 (Dynamic Data Authentication) 방식의 상호인증을 제공한다. 개방형 전자화폐 teem 시스템의 구성 모듈은 발급, 충전, 구매, 정산, 인증시스템으로 구성되어 있으며, 웹기반의 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하고 DES, 3-DES, SHA-1, RSA, SEED등 다양한 암호 모듈과 다양한 어플리케이션의 탐재가 가능한 Java Card를 기반으로 하고 있으며, VOP(Visa Open Platform) 2.0,1, Java Card API 2.1 지원하는 시스템이다.

Recently , as GIS technology is rapidly improved and stabilized, there are some needs to reuse pre-developed and powerful GIS technology. GIS standardization based on components and open interfaces becomes a way to solve those reusability of previous GIS technology. This GIS standardization currently focuses on building the GIS Data Infrastructure that is being deployed globally. Especially, OpenGIS consortium which is mainly made up of international GIS leading vendors is announcing some GIS abstract specifications and implementation specifications. This study focuses on how could we design and implement the OLE/COM-based data provider component based on various DBMS or file systems, how could these data provider components be used for enterprise UIS(Urban Information Systems) and how could various formatted GIS data be shared in one system. Also some problems practically caused by an implementation process of data provider component are listed up and some solutions are given. Furthermore, design and analysis of UML(Unified Modeling Language) was reformed through the data provider component development task and this UML methodology is able to indicate a standardized model for newly developed data provider component.

지리정보시스템(GIS) 클라이언트는 Open API를 이용한 개방형 구조를 지향하고 있다. OLE DB는 OLE/COM을 기반으로 다양한 데이터 소스에 대한 표준 인터페이스를 제공하기 때문에 서로 다른 데이터 소스에 대한 상호운용성을 지원하는 것이 용이하다. 그러나 OLE DB를 이용하여 공간 데이터를 수정하는 경우에 Two-Phase Locking 방식으로 인한 긴 대기시간(Long Wait)과 set 단위의 locking을 지원하지 않는 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문은 OLE DB를 이용한 공간데이터의 수정을 위하여 Row 단위의 잠금이 아닌 Rowset 단위의 영역잠금을 위한 잠금 모드와 인터페이스를 정의한다. 그리고 긴 대기시간을 해결하고 동시성을 높이기 위해 동시수정 트랜잭션 인터페이스를 정의하고 프로토콜을 제시한다.

Recently, the web map services with standard interfaces have been developed to a high degree for the purpose of sharing of spatial data through the web. Among the various kinds of works related, the specification for the web map service released by Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) is the most prominent, and is nearly adopted as international standard (ISO/DIS 19128) in developing the web map servers. The web map server of OGC, however, provides the insufficient capabilities for mobile applications. Unlike the wired applications, the mobile applications would require the map server to minimize of size of data transferred, because the size of data is very important factor in communication cost and the response time of map clients. And the mobile applications require different quality of map according to the screen size of mobile devices. The mobile application, also require some application specific queries. In this paper, We have Proposed the interfaces for mobile web map services (M-WMS) which fully comply with the standard interfaces proposed in OGC. And we have designed and implemented the web map server for mobile map services. This paper has contributed to construction and practical use of the web map servers in mobile applications, such as LBS and telematics.
