기업의 성장동력 전략으로 내부 개발역량에 의존하는 자생적/유기적(Organic Growth) 방식과 전략적 제휴나 인수/합병을 통해 외부 자원을 활용하는 비유기적 성장(Inorganic Growth) 방식을 나눌수 있다. 하지만 이러한 혁신전략 안에는 성공과 실패가 공존하고 있으며 특히 최근에는 조직내 혁신을 달성하기 위해 연구 및 개발, 상용화에 이르기까지 혁신 과정을 개방하여, 외부 자원을 적극활용함으로써 혁신의 비용을 줄이고 성공가능성을 높여 부가가치 창출을 극대화하는 혁신활동중 하나로 개방형혁신(Open innovation)을 많이 활용 하고 있다. 하지만 더 나아가 사업의 지속 가능한 성장을 위해서는 External Organic Innovation을 같이 활용하는 새로운 혁신전략 활동 전개가 필요하다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 이러한 혁신 전략들의 성공-실패 사례분석을 통해 4차 산업혁명시대에 맞는 혁신전략을 살펴보고자 한다.

This study illustrates and compares the platform strategy of Apple and Samsung, which have been operating their own App stores, by using the $IISI^n$ model. Apple, the first mover of the platform, has employed closed strategy for quality control of the platform and customer loyalty. On the other hand, Samsung has employed open strategy for increasing the platform network effects. The result of this study showed that the platform strategy "Openness", which is a free entry of participants, and "Sharing" of created value, are important along with the excellent platform environment. As a pioneering study of the platform strategy for the co-creation, this research contributes to both theory and practice.

This study started from the point that the most important SMEs in the economic growth engine of Korea are prepared to grow through innovation. This study focuses on the fact that existing studies have focused on the open innovation of SMEs has been continued since the external knowledge search became an important concept, but mainly focused on the enterprise performance. The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effect of innovation speed focusing on exports to Korean SMEs. The hypothesis suggests the depth and breadth of external knowledge search, which is the two methods of open innovation emphasized in the previous studies, and then shows the innovation speed on export performance as a moderating effect. Robust regression analysis was used for the analysis and the sample used for the analysis was valid 1,357 SMEs data. The hypothesis test for the moderation effect was performed by comparing the F-values between models. The proposed hypothesis was adopted and the moderation effect was verified.

유니콘기업을 목표로 하고 있는 국내 스타트업들이 아직까지 국내 투자유치와 코스닥시장 IPO를 목표로 삼고 있고, 해외 판로개척, 해외투자 유치 및 M&A를 통한 글로벌 진출이 활성화 되어 있지 않기 때문에 현재까지의 제2벤처붐은 절반의 성공이라 볼 수 있다. 현 정부에서도 스타트업의 글로벌 진출을 중요한 정책 아젠다로 보고 있는 바, 중소벤처기업들의 글로벌 진출 및 사업화 성공 요인을 분석하기 위한 연구가 필요한 시점이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문은 중소벤처기업의 글로벌 경영성과에 미치는 요인들을 살펴보기 위해 국제경영이론 중, 글로벌진출 성공요인과 관련된 자원기반관점과 동적역량관점의 선행연구를 검토해보고, 기업의 혁신역량과 개방형 혁신활동이 기업의 글로벌 성과에 미치는 영향을 실증분석을 통해 살펴보고자 한다. 아직까지 스타트업 또는 벤처기업들을 대상으로 글로벌 진출 성공요인을 도출한 연구가 부족하다는 측면에서 본 연구는 기존 연구들과 차별성이 있음을 밝힌다.

개방형 체계접근방법은 변화의 속도가 느린 개방 인터페이스를 사용하는 것이며 이의 초점은 잘 알려져 있고 받아들일 수 있는 개방 인터페이스를 잘 선택하여 무기체계에 적용하고 개방구조에 맞는 모듈화 설계를 한다면 수명주기비용을 적게 하고 개발기간을 단축하며 지속적으로 성능을 유지 또는 향상시킬 수 있는 혁신적인 개념이라 할 수 있다. 많은 무기체계는 완전히 개방적일 수는 없지만 무기체계를 설계할 때 개방개념을 도입함으로써 개방의 이점을 최대화 할 수 있다.

This study is designed to analyze the effect of entrepreneurship orientation of owner managers on product innovation performance through user innovation participation by using Korea Innovation Survey 2014 (KIS 2014) conducted by STEPI (Science and Technology Policy Institute). The findings show that entrepreneurial orientation of owner managers measured by a proxy variable of ownership ratio has positive relationship with innovation performance of firms. They also present that user innovation activity has a partial mediating effect on the relationship between the entrepreneurial orientation of owner managers and innovation performance of firms. This study suggests that the higher the entrepreneurial orientation of the owner manager, the higher the innovation performance. The innovation performance can be intensified when the open innovation strategy is implemented through the user participation.

1970년초 '자주국방'으로 시작한 방위산업의 역량은 재래식 무기의 국산화 단계를 넘어서 일부 첨단무기를 독자 개발할 수 있는 수준에 도달하였다. 하지만 그동안 방위산업 정책은 내수시장을 중심으로 이뤄졌었고, 방위산업체를 중심으로 한 제한된 경쟁체제였다. 그 결과 국방과학기술 경쟁력은 11위인 반면에 민수분야 과학기술경쟁력은 4위로 눈부신 발전을 하였다. 또한 2009년 스톡홀롬 국제평화연구소 발표에 따르면 우리나라는 무기 수입국 3위인 반면, 수출은 17위에 위치해 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 위와 같은 문제 인식을 바탕으로 시작하였으며, 특히 민수업체의 방산분야 참여를 통해 국내시장의 규모를 넓히고, 국내경쟁력 향상하고, 더 나아가 방위산업 글로벌 경쟁력을 확보하여 국가 방위력개선 뿐만 아니라 수출 선도 산업으로 자리매김할 수 있는 개방형 기술혁신체계 구축 방법을 모색하였다. 또한 민수분야의 조사를 통해 방위산업 진입장벽을 파악하였으며, 진입장벽 해소를 통해 방위산업 경쟁력 강화를 할 수 있는 방법을 고찰하였다. 국방분야의 개방형 기술혁신체계 구축은 국가과학기술을 선도하고, 군 전력증강 및 국가경제발전에 기여할 것이다.

Chesbrough(2003, 2006) studied Open Innovation about not only IT advanced firms such as Intel or IBM, but also P&G or 3M which are traditional manufacturing firms. As West(2006) described, we can analyze open innovation in several levels such as firm level, industry level, sector, or cluster. Most of all, we could know that according to belonging industries, open innovation effect of firms are different based of technology life cycle, or modular or non modular architecture(JHJ YUN, 2010; JHJ YUN, 2009). In this research, we will study open innovation of Korea aeroplane industry. Korea Aerospace Industries, Ltd is the flagship company in Korean aeroplane industry. We will study the open innovation relationship between Korean Aerospace Industries, Ltd and supplying firms based on Case study and Interview method. Our research question is this. Do supplying firms for Korea Aerospace Industries, Ltd adopt open innovation strategy? If then, what kind of aspects do the open strategies have?
