Development of a Data Conversion System between SDTS and Gothic (SDTS와 GOTHIC간의 데이터 변환 시스템의 개발)

  • 지리 정보 시스템(GIS)은 그 특성상 대용량의 GIS 데이터를 사용하며, 다양한 소프트웨어와 하드웨어 상에서 구현된다. 이렇게 상이한 하드웨어, 소프트웨어, 그리고 운영 체제상에서 공간 데이터들 간의 효율적인 데이터 교환이 불가능하다면 데이터 공유가 매우 어려울 뿐만 아니라 데이터의 중복 보관 및 관리로 인해 막대할 경제적 손실을 가져온다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 국가 차원에서 지리 정보 시스템에 관해 국가 표준을 설정하고, 공간 데이터베이스를 구축하고 있는데 공통데이터교환 포맷으로 채택된 것은 SDTS이다. 본 논문에서는 국가 공통데이타교환 포맷인 SDTS 데이터와 GOTHIC의 데이터를 상호 교환할 수 있는 데이터 변환 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 데이터 변환 시스템의 대상이 되는 GOTHIC은 영국 Laser-Scan에서 개발한 GIS 개발 도구로 실세계를 구성하는 개체들을 서로 구분될 수 있는 하나의 객체로 표현하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 우선 GOTHIC과 SDTS의 데이터 포맷 및 데이터의 저장 방법에 대해 분석한다. 그리고, 구현하려고 하는 데이터 변환 시스템의 전체적인 구조를 설계하고, 구조의 각 단계별로 수행될 작업을 구현함으로써 데이터 변환 시스템을 개발한다.

  • 경관을 구성하는 다양한 요소들의 공간적 분포 패턴과 상호 관계를 정량적으로 분석하기 위하여 다양한 경관지수가 개발되어 사용되고 있다. 경관구조 및 변화특성을 정량적으로 해석하기 위한 노력은 1950년대 후반부터 기하학적 이론을 기초로 하여 제기되어 왔으며, 최근에는 원격탐사, GIS, 정보이론, 프랙탈 이론에 근거한 지표 등이 도입되어 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 연안습지 식생의 발달과 분포 특성을 공간적으로 해석하기 위해 Landsat 영상에 분광혼합분석 기법을 적용하여 선정한 지표면 식생비율을 10개 클래스로 구분한 후 각 클래스에 대해 경관지수를 적용하여 식생비율의 시-공간적 변동 특성을 분석하였다. 새만금방조제를 비롯한 많은 연안습지에 생성되는 습지식생의 공간적 분포를 변화탐지 하고 이들의 시-공간적 분포에 영향을 미치는 요인을 해석하여 연안습지의 보존과 개발에 대한 기초 정보를 위성자료를 통해 추출 분석하였다.

  • The Apartment resident's make-up of a family and residing preference are diversified by the change of lifestyle through the elevation of economy level and residing level. Accordingly, the remodeling and the early rebuilding for the satisfaction of a life cycle and a life style are increasing, and "Variability" that is the concept of Open Housing was emphasized as a central of residing plan in the apartment. Although apartments which select the space variability to the residing space are increasing gradually, the optimum composition structural system with space variability that satisfies the structure stability, the economical efficiency and the resident usability is not developed. The method of a study was progressed by a comparison and an analysis on each system with estimation elements through analyzing the development process and the special quality of existing composition structural system with space variability in the apartment. This paper offered the improvement direction on the current composition structural system with space variability for the development of modularizing system that is correct in domestic real condition.

  • The underground space which has been highlighted anew in view of urban scenery and environmental conservation through the control of ground development and solution of urban problems through making the utility of urban space efficient can promote the urban service, amenity, stability and others by arranging the urban function of ground area to the underground which is anticipated to be demanding the more in the future an also can be effective measures of confrontation in the solution of traffic, the complex in the heart of the city and lack of land through effective construction of the structure of urban space. But it has been understood to be extremely negative space at this time as limited to negative and fragmentary development and it has faced the necessity of constructing pleasant environment by overcoming every problem. After all, through the general research of underground space, this dissertation is reconsidering the development value of environmental design on the basis of the case study in international city development of underground space, and trying to extract design factors which should be treated in developing the underground space by establishing the evaluation model on the functional, techinical and behavioral elements factors.

  • This study was conducted to develop a tool to investigate and analyze the educational effect of the school space innovation project, which is being promoted on a large scale at the national level. In order to analyze the educational effect of school space innovation, it is first necessary to analyze the structure of the space altered by the school space innovation. Research and analysis should be possible, so a user survey tool was developed for this purpose. It is expected that the survey tool in this study can be used for pre-investigation in the pre-planning stage of the school space innovation project and as a post-evaluation tool for investigating and analyzing the educational effects of space innovation.

A Cognitive Study on the Usability of Cross-referencing link ad Multiple hierarchies (교차적 연결과 다계층구조의 유용성에 관한 인지적 연구 : 사이버쇼핑몰의 커스터머 인터페이스를 중심으로)

  • The focus of this study is on the elements of structure design that facilitate u user interaction with applications within cyberspace Structure design entails decisions regarding the optimal classification and hierarchical organization of information into s successively higher units. i.e .. the grouping of highly related information in the form of nodes of a site and the subsequent connection of nodes that are inter-related. The decisions are based on the designer's subjective classification framework. which is not always compatible with that of the user. We propose that the ensuing cognitive dissonance can be reduced via the employment of multiple hierarchies and cross-referencing links. Multiple hierarchies represent a single information space in terms of a number of single hierarchies. each of which represent a different perspective Cross-referencing refers to the inter-connection between the constituent hierarchies by providing a link to the alternate hierarchy for information that is most likely to be categorized in diverse manners by users with differing perspectives. In this study we conducted two empirical studies to gauge the effectiveness of multiple hierarchies and Cross-referencing links in the domain of cyber shopping malls. In the first phase. an experiment was conducted to determine how subjects classified given products with respect to two different perspectives for categorization. Experimental cyber malls were developed based on the results from the first phase to test the effectiveness of multiple hierarchies and cross-referencing links. Results show that the ease of navigation was higher for cyber malls that had implemented cross-referencing links are of greater value when used in conjunction with single hierarchical designs rather than multiple hierarchies. Users satisfaction with and ease of navigation was higher for cyber malls that had not implemented multiple hierarchies. This paper concludes with discussion of these results and their implications for designers of cyber malls.

  • This study aims to comprehensively assess the phenomenon of structural unemployment, with a specific emphasis on unemployment resulting from spatial mismatch, while also exploring potential solutions. Spatial mismatch unemployment presents a unique challenge distinct from unemployment stemming from demand deficient, thus requiring a more multifaceted approach beyond the efforts of individual businesses and national economic recovery policy. To underscore the importance of addressing spatial mismatch, this research seeks to quantify its contribution to overall unemployment. Additionally, we evaluate the effectiveness of local labor markets, a prominent mechanism for alleviating spatial mismatch, categorized by occupation, to assess their effectiveness for addressing this issue. Through this analysis, our study advocates for the development of comprehensive policies within the realm of job-related initiatives, including spatial alignment through inter-regional collaborations, in conjunction with region-specific policies and strategies for job creation.

Spatio-temporal Changes of Urban Sprawl Process in Seoul Metropolitan Area : Spatial Structure-based Approach (수도권 스프롤 양상의 시공간적 변화 : 공간구조 기반 접근)

  • In small countries such as Korea, rapid expansion of cities has been pointed out as the main cause of urban and environmental issues. In order to understand the urban problems caused by urban sprawl and prepare countermeasures for it, urban sprawl must be accurately measured first of all. The purpose of this study is to analyze the spatio-temporal changes of urban sprawl process in Seoul Metropolitan Area using landscape indices which measure the degree of urban sprawl in terms of urban structure such as area, distribution, and shape of urbanized area. FRAGSTATS, which is a tool for landscape analysis, is utilized to calculate landscape indices. Major findings are as follows. First, the urban sprawl in Seoul Metropolitan Area has been continually intensified since the late 1980s and this tendency was more clearer in the 1990s than the 2000s. While leapfrog development is relatively prominent in the 1990s, infilling development is remarkable in the 2000s. Second, the progress and development types of sprawl progress were different according to the zones which are defined based on Seoul Metropolitan Area Readjustment Planning Act. Congestion Restrain Zone shows the highest level of urban sprawl in terms of the evaluated landscape indices, but infilling development was predominant. In Growth Management Zone1, leapfrog development was dominant in the 1990s and infilling development in the 2000s. In Growth Management Zone1, leapfrog development has been continually remarkable since the late 1980s. Nature Conservation Zone shows the lowest level of sprawl, but its sprawl tendency is gradually being intensified. Third, the sprawl tendency in Seoul Metropolitan Area was different according to the distance and direction from Seoul. Urban sprawl was remarkable at Si-Guns close to Seoul in the late 1980s, Si-Guns close to Seoul and the southern part of Seoul in the late 1990s, and the southern and northern parts of Seoul in the late 2000s.

A Study on the Automation Algorithm to Identify the Geological Lineament using Spatial Statistical Analysis (공간통계분석을 이용한 지질구조선 자동화 알고리즘 연구)

  • Recently, tunneling under the seabed is becoming increasingly common in many countries. In Korea, there are proposals to tunnel from the mainland to Jeju Island. Safe construction requires geologic structures such as faults to be characterized during the design and construction phase; however, unlike on land, such structures are difficult to survey seabed. This study aims to develop an algorithm that uses geostatistics to automatically derive large-scale geological structures on the seabed. The most important considerations in this method are the optimal size of the moving window, the optimal type of spatial statistics, and determination of the optimal percentile standard. Finally, the optimal analysis algorithm was developed using the R program, which comprehensibly presents variations in spatial statistics. The program allows the type and percentile standard of spatial statistics to be specified by the user, thus enabling an analysis of the geological structure according to variations in spatial statistics. The geotechnical defense-training algorithm shows that a large, linear geological lineament is best visualized using a $3{\times}3$ moving window and a 10% upper standard based on the moving variance value and fractile. In particular, setting the fractile criterion to the upper 0.5% almost entirely eliminates the error values from the contour image.

  • This paper is concerned with the development of a measurement system using field measuring device which will give the membrane stress of the membrane structures. Up to this point, several techniques on measurement of membrane stresses has been proposed and some have been used in the fields, but accuracy of the measured stresses to be far from reliable one. Such situation has not been changed until recent days, we do not have the measurement device on which we can depend. On top of that, due to the different properties in cross directions for material of the membrane, the stress in the warp direction is different from that in the fill one.
