The purpose of the study was to investigate the change of students' conceptual structures about sedimentary rocks through the field trip. A semantic network analysis method was utilized to assess the change. An open-ended questionnaire was developed to assess high school students' knowledge of sedimentary rock including its definition, classification, formation process, and characteristics. Fifteen high school students participated in the field trip of this study. The text data were analyzed using the semantic network analysis method. Results are as follows. First, high school students' conceptual structures about sedimentary rocks were more expanded after the field trip. Second, students' conceptual structures formed a 'small world network' by combining the sub-clusters. Third, the size of students' conceptual structures was decreased after a few month of field trip. Nonetheless, the connection among the clusters remained the same.

In general, conventional search engines provide the same search results for the same queries of users, and however such techniques do not consider users' characteristics. To overcome this problem, we need a new way of personalized search which returns customized search results according to users' preference. In this paper, we propose a concept network profile-based personalized web search system in which the concept network is developed for accumulating users' characteristics. The concept network-based user profile is used to expand initial search queries to achieve personalized search. The concept network is a network structure of concepts where each concept is generated whenever each query is submitted, and it can be defined as a set of keywords extracted from the selected documents. Furthermore, we have improved the concept networks by augmenting intent keywords of each concept with a set of classification tags, called folksonomy, assigned to each document. For an additional personalized search technique, we propose a new re-ranking method that analayzes the degree of overlapped search results.

최근까지 정보 기술 분야에서는 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous)라는 용어가 크게 유행한 척이 있다. 현재는 다소 식상하게 들리는 용어일지도 모르지만 사물의 지능화와 통신화라는 유비쿼터스 개념은 이미 우리의 생활에 깊이 파고 들어왔다. 최근 유행하는 IT 기술인 스마트폰이나 지능형 전력망, 와이파이, 소셜 네트워크, 센싱 데이터 처리 기술과 개념은 이러한 유비쿼터스 기술의 대표적인 사례로 볼 수 있다. 국내에서 는 이러한 유비쿼터스라는 개념을 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크(Ubiquitous Sensor Network: USN)라는 용어로서 2004년부터 정보통신부 혹은 지식경제부의 적극적인 지원에 힘입어 많은 기술적/산업적 성과를 이루기도 했다. 하지만 이러한 USN은 센서네트워크 개념으로 제한적으로 오용되는 경우가 많았다 이에 본고에서는 이러한 유비쿼터스 환경을 실현하는 사물의 지능화/통신화에 대한 기술 동향과 보안 기술을 논하기 위해서 USN과 거의 비슷한 개념이지만 국내외적으로 더욱 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 IoT(Intemet of Things) 용어를 사용할 것이며, 이러한 IoT에 대한 기술 동향과 보안 기술을 논하고자 한다.

고속전철 시스템을 완성하는데 있어 일반적인 경우 전원공급 시스템(power supply system), ROollingstock 및 토목공사분야등이 중요시 되고 있다. 그러나 고속으로 운행되는 전철시스템이 정상적으로 운행되고 특히 인원의 안전을 보장하기 위해서는 통신 및 신호시스템의 중요함이 간과되어서는 안된다. 내부통신네트워크는 Trainset 자체가 정상적인 운행이 되도록 만들어 주는 신경역할을 하는 것으로 주로 컴퓨터 네트워크의 개념으로 접근하여야 하며 확장성, 가용성, 견고성 등이 고려요소가 된다. 특히, 확장성과 가용성의 측면에서 Token-ring아키텍쳐가 우선적으로 고려될 수 있음을 보았다. 네트워크에 접속되는 프로세서 및 터미날은 전체 시스템중 뇌(Brain)의 역할을 수행하는 것으로 마이크로 프로세서 개념으로 발전되어야 할 것이다. 원거리통신 네트워크는 전철과 지상설비간의 통신계통으로 요구되는 데이타의 형태, 량 및 전송속도에 따라 설계되어야 한다. 원거리 통신네트워크의 일부인 무선시스템은 고속주행시스템의 특성이 고려되어야 한다. 최근 급속히 발전되고 있는 셀룰라시스템의 개념을 적용할 수 있을 것이다. 특히 디지탈 세룰라의 실용화가 눈앞에 보이기 때문이다.

패킷망을 통해 음성, 영상, 데이터를 동시에 제공할 수 있는 차세대 네트워크(NGN) 개념이 제안되어 현재 네트워크 상에 전개되어 가고 있다. 하지만 NGN의 Softswitch의 구성을 위해서는 현재의 PSTN 내의 Class 4/5 switch를 NGN의 구성에 맞게 끔 Access Gateway 및 Media Gateway로 교체해 나가야 하며 교체 후에도 소비자의 새로운 서비스 신설 요구에 신속하게 부합하기 위하여 기존 시스템의 서비스 중단없이 새로운 서비스 및 신규 프로토콜을 신속히 전개할 수 있는 개념은 필수적인 요소가 되었다. 이러한 점을 지원하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 개방형 네트워크 아키텍처 접근 방식인 Active Network의 개념을 응용한 차세대네트워크 Media Gateway Controller내의 이산 메커니즘 적용 Active Packet Processor도입하였다.

IT 인프라를 통해 변화하는 비즈니스 우선순위에 따라 재사용 또는 결합 가능한 컴포넌트로 통합하는 표준화된 프레임워크인 서비스 지향 아키텍처를 구현하기 위한 핵심기술이 가상화이다. 이 가상화 기술 가운데 네트워크 가상화가 미래인터넷에서 중요한 기술적 이슈로 부상하고 있지만, 아직은 초기 단계이기 때문에 네트워크 가상화의 개념과 세부 기술 등이 모호한 상태이다. 이에 따라, 본 고에서는 미래인터넷 관점에서 네트워크 가상화에 대해 기술 동향을 파악하고, 전반적인 개념과 세부 기술을 다루어 보고자 한다.

URC는 기존 로봇에 네트워크 및 정보 기술을 접목한 지능형 서비스 로봇의 새로운 개념으로서, 언제, 어디서나 나와 함께 하며, 나에게 필요한 서비스를 제공하는 네트워크기반 로봇이다. URC 개념이 구현되기 위해서는 유비쿼터스 네트워크 또는 센서 네트워크, 고성능 로봇용 서버 등과 같은 하드웨어 인프라가 구축되어 있어야 하며, 이러한 인프라 상에서 구동되는 소프트웨어 인프라가 필요하다. 본 고에서는 URC의 소프트웨어 인프라의 구현에 요구되는 많은 기술 중 특히 상황인식 컴퓨팅 기술에 대해 논의하고 ETRI에서 개발중인 상황인식 미들웨어인 CAMUS에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

The important thing of Information Retrieval System is to satisfy is to satisfy the user's requriement in searching Information Retrieval system ranks documents by weights in document, then Retrieved document context does not consist with given query. This paper proposes a new method of document retrieval based on extended fuzzy concept networks. there are four of fuzzy relationships between concept; fuzzy positive combination, fuzzy negative combination, fuzzy generalization, and fuzzy specilalization. After modeling an extended fuzzy concept network by relation matrix and relevance matrix, we measured similarties.

This research suggests a method to contribute to the perfect execution of duty in prospective information warfare by inspecting network-based warfare, in which its basic concepts and efficient management plans are provided; it is especially important, due to growing focus on information warfare caused by sudden improvements on information technology which affects not only civil matters but international military affairs as well. For this purpose, this research scrutinizes on the chronological organization of warfare traits during the information age, and information-warfare execution, as well as its effects, thereby providing proper management plans for network-based warfare.
