The Review of Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis by $k_0$-standardization method ($k_0$-표준화방법에 의한 기기중성자방사화 분석법의 고찰)

  • Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis as a representative method of nuclear analytical technique, has advantages of non-destructive, simultaneous multi-element analysis with the characteristics of absolute measurement method. Up to date, $k_0$-quantitative method which is accurate, convenient and user-friendly, has been generalized world-widely. In this study, it is intented to introduce the general concept of $k_0$-method and to measure $k_0$-parameters for the future implementation to our NAA system. For this objectives, the definition of relevant factors for the quantitative analysis and the equation for the experimental determination of parameters such as $Q_0$(${\alpha}$) and f were summarized. Furthermore, a foundation for the $k_0$-standardization method was prepared through the measurement of ${\alpha}$ and f-value which depend on the specific character of irradiation hole at NAA#1-hole of HANARO research reactor.

A Conceptual Comparison between Public Interest and Universal Service (공익성 보편적 서비스 개념의 비교 연구)

  • This study aims to explore concepts of public interest and universal service which have been essential ideologies and policy goals, but which have been a the state of conceptual chaos so far. It sheds light upon three aspects : (1) the origins of public interest and universal service, (2) conceptual components of public interest and universal service, and (3) the implementation of public interest and universal service ideologies into policy. As a result of this analysis, it was found, firstly, that public interest of broadcasting originated from western countries, was rooted in the United States, and then spread all over the world later. After universal service was begun in the United States, it became a key ideology of information and telecommunication in European countries and other countries as well. Secondly, when examining the conceptual components, more differences were found than commonalities between these two concepts. The most conspicuous common point was universalism The concept of public interest includes not only universal service, but also connotes other components such as independence, diversity, quality, and locality which are related to content. Thirdly, when these two ideologies are implemented into policy, there Is a contrast. This study shows that the public interest ideology was realized into regulatory policies, while the universal service ideology was realized into supportive policies. In conclusion, this paper suggests more exact usage academically, showing the differences between the two concepts. This paper recommends an enforced legal duty of broadcasters to provide universal service when the current broadcasting law is revised.

지방구가 제거된 돼지 미성숙 난포란의 유리화 동결에서 Straw법과 EM Grid법의 비교

  • 많은 연구에서 돼지의 난포란 혹은 배아가 낮은 온도에 대해 민감한 것은 세포질 내에 함유된 지방구와 관련이 있다고 하였으며, 이런 세포질내의 지방구를 제거함으로 동결능력이 향상된다고 하였다. 이렇게 지방구가 제거된 돼지의 난포란과 배아를 효과적으로 동결보존하기 위해서는 새로운 개념의 동결보존 기술이 필요하다고 하겠다. 따라서, 본 연구는 미성숙 단계에서 지방이 제거된 돼지 난포란의 유리화 동결에 적합한 방법을 찾기 위하여 straw를 이용한 유리화 동결법과 electron microscopic grid(EM grid)를 사용한 유리화 동결법을 실시하여 효율적인 동결방법을 검토하였다.

  • 토양수분량 측정은 대표적으로 유전율을 측정하는 방식으로 토양수분 측정을 수행하고 있으며 비교적 정확하고 연속적인 자료를 수집할 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 하지만 토양수분량은 인근의 동종(homogeneous)의 지형일지라도 측정 위치에 따라 값과 변화 특성의 차이가 발생한다. 이는 각 지점마다 토양, 식생, 지형 등의 다양한 환경 때문에 발생하며, 이러한 다양한 환경을 모두 고려하여 분석하기란 쉽지 않다. 이를 극복하기 위해 시간적 안정성 해석(Temporal stability analysis) 개념을 통해 기 설치된 토양수분의 지속적인 토양수분 패턴을 식별하고 선택된 대표 센서 위치에서 전체적인 평균을 산출하는 연구가 있었으며, 미국에서도 위성을 활용한 지상검증 연구를 위해 측정 그리드(grid)별로 시간적 안정성 해석 개념을 통해 지상 측정 네트워크 체계를 갖추었다. 국내에서도 최근 인공위성을 활용하여 토양수분을 산정하는 연구가 많아짐에 따라 측정 지역의 대표 토양수분 값을 선정하는 연구의 수요가 증가하였으며 수문자료의 지속성을 위해 결측을 최소화 방안으로 관측소 이중화 지점을 선정하는 연구의 필요성도 증가하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존에 설치되어있는 설마천, 청미천 토양수분 관측소에 구역별 시간 안정성 해석법을 수행하여 추후 지점의 대표 토양수분을 산정할 수 있으며 이중화 설치 지점을 제시하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Representative of Sample and Efficiency of Estimation (표본의 대표성과 추정의 효율성)

  • In this paper we investigate some concepts frequently called in sample surveys such as 'representative of sample' as well as 'consistency', 'unbiasedness', and 'efficiency' in estimation. The first is strongly related with sampling procedure including coverage rate of survey population, response rate in establishment survey, and recruit rate of final samples. The others, however, are concerned with both sampling design and corresponding estimators simultaneously. Whereas both consistency and unbiasedness are based on the representative sample, efficiency does not depend on the representative sample. The representative of sample can be increased by raising the rate of coverage, response and recruit as well. Consistency may be investigated according to variables of interest and auxiliary variables. The well-known raing-ratio weighting method is a method to increase consistency of auxiliary variables by means of matching population size in each cell. Efficiency is not directly related with the representative of sample, and allocation methods such as proportional and Neyman allocation in stratified sampling and post-stratification are all methods to increase the efficiency of estimation under the condition of satisfying the representative of sample.

A New Methodology for the Assessment of Liquefaction Potential Based on the Dynamic Characteristics of Soils (II) : Verification (지반의 동적특성에 기초한 액상화 평가법 (II) : 타당성 검토)

  • In this study, a new methodology fur the assessment of liquefaction potential is proposed and characteristics of the proposed methodology are verified. The experimental parameter of this methodology, that is, the plastic shear strain trajectory, is compared with the dissipated energy. It is shown that this parameter can express the liquefaction behavior which is generated by excess pore water pressure. This methodology takes advantage of the shear strain time history determined from the site response analysis based on the real time history of earthquake. In this site response analysis, shock type and vibration type records of similar predominant frequency are inputted. The liquefaction safely factors based on the proposed methodology and Korean detailed assessment related to the classical method are calculated from the results of the site response analysis and laboratory dynamic tests. Through this study, it is found that the proposed methodology can not only simulate the liquefaction behavior of saturated soils hut also express the seismic characteristics reasonably : leading type, predominant frequency, maximum acceleration, duration time.

고등학교에서 수열의 극한 개념의 지도에 관한 소고

  • 현재 시행되고 있는 6차 교육과정이나 2002년도부터 새로이 시행되는 고등학교 7차 교육과정에서는 수열의 극한을 직관적으로 지도하도록 하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 연구들을 살펴보면, 수열의 극한에 관한 학생들의 인지 장애의 원인 중 하나가 이러한 직관적인 이해로부터 기인한다고 볼 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 다른 나라에서 수열의 극한을 다루는 법을 살펴보고, 그것을 바탕으로 수열의 극한 개념을 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습하는 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문은 인적자원관리에 필수적인 전문가시스템의 개념에 대해서 논의하고 있다. 전문가시스템을 인적자원관리분야에 적용하기 위해서는 전문가시스템의 개발과 관련된 일반 적인 고려사항들 뿐만 아니라, 인적자원관리와 관련된 고유한 특성들이 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 인적자원관리 전문가시스템의 장점과 구조를 제시하였으며, 전문가시스템 개 발을 위한 단계별 구체적 활동을 논의하였다. 아울러, 규칙을 이용한 인적자원관리의 지식 표현법 및 예제를 통해서 인적자원관리정보시스템의 하부 시스템으로서의 전문가시스템의 특성에 대해서도 논의하였다.

Barrel Rifling Shape Optimization by Using Design of Experiment Approach (실험계획법을 적용한 포의 강선 형상최적설계)

  • The rifling design problem has continuous-type shape variables and an integral number of riflings. In addition, it requires considerable time for analysis because its behavior should be described by a nonlinear finite element model (FEM). Therefore, this study presents an efficient design process for rifling based on a design of experiment (DOE) approach. First, Bose's orthogonal array is used to represent 25 runs for four design variables including three shape variables and one integer variable. Then, nonlinear FE analyses are performed. Next, to minimize the bullet resistance without affecting the bullet velocity and bullet rotational angle immediately before a bullet leaves the gun barrel, a what-if design is performed. In the proposed what-if design, a functional including the design objective and constraints is constructed and effect analysis is performed by using the functional. It is found that the new design obtained from the what-if design shows better results than the current one.
