Distributed Parameters Estimation of Muskiingum-Cunge Routing Model (Muskingum-Cunge 모형의 분포형 매개변수 추정)

  • 1차원 Saint-Venant 방정식을 이용한 동력학적 부정류 계산모형은 하도의 지형과 흐름에 대한 물리적 특성을 잘 반영하고 있지만 하폭이 좁고 경사가 큰 하천에서는 해의 안정성 문제를 갖고 있기 때문에 홍수 예 경보를 목적으로 하는 하도추적 방법으로 항상 적합하다 할 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 동력학적 부정류 계산모형의 대안으로서 확산파 모형의 수치해법으로 볼 수 있는 Muskingmum-Cunge 모형을 남한강에 적용하여 분포형 매개변수를 추정하는 방법을 제시하였다. 먼저 남한강의 상류인 충주 조정지댐부터 여주 수위관측소까지 가용한 각각의 횡단면에 대해 최심하상고에서 제방고까지 다양한 수위를 가정하고 수면폭과, 통수단면적 그리고 동수반경을 계산한 후 Manning 식을 이용하여 유량을 산정한다. 이때 각 단면별로 유량에 대한 통수단면적과 수면폭에 대하여 회귀분석 방법을 이용해 단면별 매개변수를 추정한다. 추정된 매개변수를 Muskingum-Cunge 모형에 적용하여 상류로부터 하류까지 각 단면별로 하도추적을 수행한다. 계산된 결과는 HEC-HMS Musking-Cunge 모형과 첨두유량의 크기 및 무차원 RMS 등을 비교하였을 때 동력학적 모형의 계산결과에 잘 일치함을 알 수 있다.

Education Method for Basic Programming Subject through Physical Computing (피지컬 컴퓨팅을 통한 기초 프로그래밍 교육 방법)

  • As the connection between objects and computers becomes easier, learning using physical computing is presented as a good alternative to solve the problems raised in programming education for beginners. In this paper, we propose a training method that can be applied to basic programming courses for beginners. To do this, we will proceed with a basic programming lecture based on the physical computing method. Currently, physical computing courses focus on various input sensor connection methods and output device control. However, the content of programming education using physical computing materials is lacking. In this paper, we proposed and tested a teaching method that is used in programming education by using low cost materials used in physical computing.

A model for enhancing the academic excellence of adult college students (성인대학생의 학업수월성 강화를 위한 모형)

  • The purpose of this study is to present a model for enhancing the academic excellence of adult college students. For this purpose, 408 adult college students attending 2-year and 4-year colleges in Busan, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk were surveyed and analyzed. The components of the model are curriculum, educational methods, evaluation of education, educational administration, educational environment, and institutional support and the results are as follows. First, the curriculum preferred by adult college students was to acquire diverse academic knowledge for a degree, to acquire knowledge and skills to develop skills for the workplace, and to acquire new information and knowledge regarding issues in society as a whole. Second, the professors' qualification among the educational methods preferred by adult college students was professional competence of the professors based on their theoretical and practical skills. The preferred teaching methods were lecture, discussion, action learning, and the project learning method in that order and video and PowerPoint were preferred as effective teaching mediums. Third, the preferred course for adult college students is operated on weekends, and three years was preferred to get a bachelor's degree. The possible hours of learning per day is 3~6 hours, indicating the necessity of e-learning, B-learning, and prior learning experience recognition systems. Fourth, the education evaluation method preferred by adult college students was a compromise method which is a mixture of absolute evaluation and relative evaluation, and it also showed the need for Pass or Non Pass evaluation method. Fifth, the internal factors of college selection preferred by adult college students were the acquisition of new knowledge and skills, and the external factors were desire to receive many opportunities related to employment and job improvement. The classroom, which provides an effective environment, was a fixed seat classroom and an indoor classroom environment was emphasized for desired educational environment. Sixth, institutional support preferred by adult college students was computer-related programs and learning club support services.

  • 일반 구조용 탄소강은 수용액 중에 노출될 때 부식에 의한 손상을 받기 쉽다. 부식의 양지를 위한 방법으로 사용 매체 중에 부식억제제를 첨가하여 탄소강의 부식속도를 낮추는 방법은 흔히 사용되는 방법이다. 부식억제제는 부식억제의 원리에 따라 양극부식억제제, 음극부식억제제 그리 고 이들의 혼합부삭억 세제 둥 여러 종류가 목적에 따라 사용되고 있다. 일반적으로 부식억제제의 성능 평가에는 무게감량볍, 표면분석법, 분극거동측정, 부석전위, 선 형분극법에 의한 부식속도 측정 등 다양한 방법이 시도되고 있다. 이 중에서 전기화학적 평가볍 은 부삭억제제의 작용 기구 규명 등을 위하여 많이 사용되고 있다. 한편 제품의 개발 단계에서 실질적인 평가법으로 갈리 사용하고 있는 방법은 무게 감량법인데 이 방법은 전면부식에 의한 금 속 손실량을 측정하여 부식억제능을 측정하는 방법이다. 그러냐 실제로 부삭억제제가 사용되고 있는 환경에서의 부식양상을 판찰하여보면 전면부식에 의한 손상보다는 국부부식에 의한 손상이 보다 치명적언 경우를 종종 목격할 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 가존의 무게감량법은 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 국부부식을 보다 효과적으로 평가하기 위해 새로운 시험법을 도 입 상용 부식억제제의 종류별로 비교하였다. 부식억제제로는 수용액 중의 부식억제제로 널리 사용되고 있는 Nalco 39L과 본 연구실에서 SK해미칼과 공동 개발한 GH-110 등에 대하여 MCA(Multiple Crevice Assembly)를 이용 틈부식 저항성을 평가하였다. 또한 박막화된 전기저항형 부석속도 측정 센서를 틈부식 형태의 부식측정 에 적용하는 연구를 행하였다. 시험에 사용한 재갚는 천연가스의 감압 온도보상용으로 운전하는 가스히터의 주 구성 재료인 저탄소강을 사용하였으며 열화된 부식억제제 용액으로 사용기간이 서로 다른 수용액들에 대하여 평가 방법을 적용하여 비교하였다 다양한 부식억 제 제 수용액을 비교한 결과 MCA(Multiple Crevice Assembly)를 이용한 틈부식 억제능 시험은 실제 현장 사험 결과와 어느 정도 일치하는 결과를 보였다. 새로운 틈부식 저항성 측정법으로 시도한 철박막을 이용 틈부식 측정법은 육안 검사를 실시하지 않고도 틈부식의 전행 여부를 확인할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다.

Study on the Convergence between Spatial Design Education and On·Offline Communication Methods (공간디자인 교육과 온·오프라인 커뮤니케이션 방법의 융합에 관한 연구)

  • For creative spatial design education, the convergence between new communication and education needs to be grafted including online, for which empirical research, this study is attempted. The goal of this study is to educate spatial design, systematically understand communication methods and analyze familiarity level and usefulness of on offline communication methods through actual spatial design studio class-giving cases. Its research outcome shows differing communication methods usefully applicable to stages of spatial design and methods enabling bilateral communication among class-takers as well as class-givers prove to be recognized as more useful than unilateral communication methods. Also, it proves familiarity and usefulness of online communication methods accompanied by visual materials such as images and etc. Based upon this result, it's necessary that various convergence for new communication methods for spatial design education be made in a right direction.

Alternate Reality Game Based Education in College (대학에서 대체현실게임기반 교육방법)

  • The college students who are in the game generation have different cognitive characteristics from the previous generations, and the phenomena of attention loss in the existing education methods such as lectures are generally seen. This results in a problem that the satisfaction of the university education is lowered. To solve this problem, it is possible to improve students' interest and concentration by using game-based educational methods. In this paper, we propose a method of university education using alternative reality game. The prototype was implemented and tested to verify that the proposed method is suitable for the university environment and can be operated. Through the test results, we confirmed that the proposed method meets the requirements of the university education field and that the required functions are functioning normally. In addition, according to the results of the questionnaire surveyed for the students, it shows that the proposed alternative game method based on the alternative reality game will be more effective in attracting students and improving concentration than the current education method.

  • For teaching-learning activities to be effective, the teaching methods need to reflect the contents of instructional materials and the characteristics of the learners. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effective ways of teaching computer programming languages. The main components of teaching computer programming languages might be the characteristics of the language itself, the function of design, and general problem-solving capacity. But the analysis of the Quality and environments of learners is much more important. To improve the Quality of teaching computer programming languages, the structured syllabus needs to be provided and a variety of teaching methods such as project-based approach, problem-based approach, cooperative learning, peer tutoring and case study should be applied selectively, depending upon the instructional situations. In addition, procedural and constructive evaluation process needs to be developed to monitor each stage of learning and to give the guidelines of completing the course projects.

Comparing the Use of Semantic Relations between Tags Versus Latent Semantic Analysis for Speech Summarization (스피치 요약을 위한 태그의미분석과 잠재의미분석간의 비교 연구)

  • We proposed and evaluated a tag semantic analysis method in which original tags are expanded and the semantic relations between original or expanded tags are used to extract key sentences from lecture speech transcripts. To do that, we first investigated how useful Flickr tag clusters and WordNet synonyms are for expanding tags and for detecting the semantic relations between tags. Then, to evaluate our proposed method, we compared it with a latent semantic analysis (LSA) method. As a result, we found that Flick tag clusters are more effective than WordNet synonyms and that the F measure mean (0.27) of the tag semantic analysis method is higher than that of LSA method (0.22).

Efficient Binary Wavelet Reconstruction for Binary Images (이진 영상을 위한 효율적인 이진 웨이블렛 복원)

  • A theory of binary wavelets which are performed over binary field has been recently proposed. Binary wavelet transform (BWT) of binary images can be used as an alternative to the real-valued wavelet transform of binary images in image processing applications such as compression, edge detection, and recognition. The BWT, however, requires large amount of computations for binary wavelet reconstruction since its operation is accomplished by matrix multiplication. In this paper, an efficient binary wavelet reconstruction method which utilizes filtering operation instead of matrix multiplication is presented. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly reduce the computational complexity of the BWT. For the reconstruction of an $N{\times}N$ image, the proposed technique requires only $2MN^2$ multiplications and $2N(M-1)^2$ additions when the filter length M, while the BWT needs $2N^3$ multiplications and $2N(N-1)^2$ additions.

A Study on the methods for improving writing ability through e-learning (영어쓰기능력 향상을 위한 이러닝 활용 방안 연구)

  • Modern society is rapidly changing by the Internet, and it is getting influential on the field of education. Learners can learn what they want to learn actively and freely at their desired level at anywhere in their free time by using the internet. The purpose of this study, therefore, is to find out the methods for improving writing ability through e-learning. The results of the study are as follows: First, learners can attend a lecture to improve their writing ability and can get learning materials from on-line course sites, internet websites, communities and blogs. Second, e-learning is learner-centered education, so it stimulates learners learning motivation and interest. Third, learners have an opportunity to express their ideas freely, and they can gain cultural comprehension while they communicate with people in the world by e-mail and chatting.
