Operation and Verification of the Real-time Discharge Measurement System Using ADVM on Backwater Conditions (배수영향 하천의 ADVM 방식 자동유량측정시설 운영 및 검증)

  • 금강하구언 상류에 위치한 규암 지점은 배수영향을 받는 지점으로 2007년도에 ADVM (Acoustic Doppler Velocity Meter)방식 자동유량측정시설을 설치하여 운영 중에 있다. 본 연구에서는 규암 지점 자동유량측정 시설에서 측정된 유량측정성과를 분석하고 다양한 방법을 통해 이를 검증하였다. 그 결과 기존 수위-유량관 계곡선식으로 방류영향 지역의 유량변화를 잘 나타낸 결과를 보였으며, 유량의 경우 총 67회 측정한 검증자료와 평균오차 7.2%로 대체로 비슷하게 산정되었으며, 금강하구언의 방류량과 갑문개방기간 동안 규암 지점의 총 유출량을 비교한 결과 3.2%의 오차를 보여 규암 지점 자동유량측정시설의 측정결과에 큰 신뢰도를 보였다.

  • 콘크리트에서 발생되는 균열은 구조물의 내구성뿐만 아니라 구조물의 안전성에도 악영향을 미치게 하며, 경우에 따라서는 사회적인 문제로까지 대두되기도 한다. 콘크리트의 균열은 크게 굳지 않은 콘크리트와 경화콘크리트에서 발생될 수 있는 균열로 나눌 수 있다. 굳지 않은 콘크리트에서 발생될 수 있는 균열요인으로는 대표적으로 콘크리트의 초기동결, 소성침하, 거푸집 및 동바리의 조기제거 등을 들 수 있고, 경화콘크리트에서는 물리ㆍ화학적요인, 열적요인, 구조적요인 등을 들 수 있다. 이러한 여러 가지의 균열요인 중에서 최근들어 열적요인에 해당되는 매스콘크리트의 온도균열 문제가 자주 대두되고 있는 실정이다.   • The basic prediction model was constructed to obtain optimal maintenance method for concrete structure under marine environment by exploring the mechanism of mono and combined deterioration in lab. This model was planned to be upgraded with data acquired from several exposure specimens under same environment as structures. The computer program developed to give useful guidance observer would be improved. Several repair materials and repair construction methods applied to exposure specimens will be tested for its performance of prohibit salt attack and freezing & thawing action during experimental period about ten years. All of these data could be available to complete the prediction system. The manager will be able to use the system for optimal maintenance of marine concrete structures.

  • We enhance the stability of SaeManGeum Drainage Sluice Gate Bridge. We prevent a destruction disaster of it. We extend the life cycle of it. So We have developed the safety control system to manage the facility of bridge to the continuance. In this study, sensitive sensor and measuring instrument has been taken to consider the characteristic of the box-girder type concrete bridge. And CDMA type has adapted for wireless communication. Control program has been developed on web base. In this program, the advanced systems have applied like this; the setup of control range for management from the statistical analysis, the evaluation system for force and deformation and the control system for a heavy vehicle permit.

Water Quality Behavior by the Sluice Gate Operation of Freshwater Lake (배수갑문 방류시점 및 방류량에 따른 담수호의 수질변화)

  • Boryeong Seadike located at southwestern seashore of Korean peninsula completed in 1997. Sluice gate operation can be an important factor to maintain lake water quality and reduce retaining time of pollutants within lake. The lake water quality simulation model, WASPS was adopted and tested to find out proper gate operation timing and discharge amount. From the simulation of sluice gate operation, the results showed that the later the time of discharge for loosing 1 day successively to 6 days, the better the quality of water. Discharge amount showed relatively minor changes of water quality. This means that pollutants flowed into lake from watershed do not have enough time to mix up with deep water when the gate opened at early time. About 3 days delay of discharge caused the dilution effect to stabilize the lake water quality in case of Boryeong freshwater lake.

  • 바다를 가로막는 방벽이나 방조제의 배수갑문 또는 조력발전소의 수문과 같이 인공 해양구조물을 통하여 흐르는 고속 해류를 이용하여 발전하는 해류발전 방식에 있어서, 고속 해류에 적합한 수차터빈과 발전기의 특성을 알아보았다. 조석간만의 차가 큰 지역에 설치되는 인공 해양구조물을 지나는 해류는 인공 해양구조물 전후에 발생하는 해수의 위치에너지 차이가 운동에너지로 바뀌면서 조석간만의 자연현상에 의해 발생되는 조류의 속도보다 훨씬 더 빠르게 흐른다. 이론적으로 우리나라의 서해안의 조석간만의 범위 3~8m로부터 7.5~12m/s 정도의 고속 해류가 가능하다. 이러한 경우에 적합한 해류발전기는 수차터빈 날개지름의 크기가 5m에서부터 12m 이하이면서, 증속기어박스와 발전기, 유압시스템 및 냉각시스템 그리고 전력변환장치를 포함하는 발전시설들을 해수면 위에 설치하는 것이 바람직하다.

  • Non-Darcy흐름에 따른 호안제체의 흐름과 배수갑문을 통한 유출입 특성을 고려한 체절구간의 수리특성분석 도형에 의한 해석결과는 실측자료와 비교적 잘 일치하여 개발된 모형의 적용성이 있음을 보여주었다. 실측치와 비교한 계산결과는 본간(1958) 식에 의한 계산이 나(1987)에 의한 방법보다 비교적 정확하게 계산할 수 있음을 보여주었다. 아울러 완전 또는 불완전 월류의 구분이 없이 잠수도에 의한 계산을 통해서 하나의 유량계수 관계곡선을 사용하여 간편하게 사용할 수 있는 나 식의 사용성을 보여 주었다. 본간 식과 나 식에 의한 계산 값이 실측치보다는 유출입 특성이 크게 나타나고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 현장에서의 체절구간의 불규칙적인 단면 양상을 감안한 유량계수의 조정이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 일반적으로 체절구간의 수리특성의 분석을 위해서 제체구간 유량의 고려는 Darcy 흐름에 기초하여 분석한 것이 지금까지의 분석이다. 제체를 통과는 유량과 개방구간을 통과하는 유량의 비가 체절구간이 좁을수록 크게 나타나 제체의 정확한 유출임 특성을 고려한 체절구간의 수리특성을 분석해야할 필요가 있음을 확인하였다.

  • An water balance model was formulated to simulate the change in water levels at the estuary reservoir from sluice gate releases and the inflow hydrographs, and an one-di- mensional flood routing model was formulated to simulate temporal and spatial varia- tions of flood hydrographs along the estuarine river. Flow rates through sluice gates were calibrated with data from the estuary dam, and the results were used for a water balance model, which did a good job in predicting the water level fluctuations. The flood routing model which used the results from two hydrologic models and the water balance model simulated hydrographs that were in close agreement with the observed data. The flood forecasting model was found to be applicable to real-time forecasting of water level fluc- tuations with reasonable accuracies.

  • This study aimed to estimate applicability of a model to simulate circulation in estuarine lake caused by operation of drainage gates. The model consists of 2D (depth-averaged) hydrodynamic models, Delft3D-FLOW model and operation model for drainage gates. The flow through drainage gates was calculated using weir formulae with discharge coefficient, 0.8. The simulations are performed under two conditions: uncontrolled condition and controlled by periods of two days. The results on simulation of the model showed that the water level in estuarine lake was tend to increase above mean sea level. Therefore it was proved that the calibration and verification were needed in order to applicate this model for Saemankeum area.

Variation of Water Level on the Upstream Gauging Station by Operation of the Drainage Sluice Gate of Geumgang Estuary Dam (금강하구둑 배수갑문 조작에 의한 상류수역의 수위변동)

  • The normalization on the characteristics of water level change at the upstream gauging station was attempted according to the operation of drainage sluice gate of the Geumgang estuary dam. The characteristics were normalized by the analysis of water level change and by the linear-regression of the water level data measured at the inner station of Geumgang estuary dam and upstream gauging station. The results of normalization may be referred to the management of Geumgang estuary lake, the operation of pumping and drainage stations in the shore of the lake. The mean response time of water level change on Ibpo, Ganggyeong and Gyuam water level station were 39,81 and 160 minutes, when sluice gate was opened respectively. The mean velocity of surface wave, the mean displacement of water level change, the mean time of water level change and the mean rate of water level change varied largely depending on the location of gauging station and the characteristics of stream section of the water level gauging station.
