Reaction Pattern Influenced by Relative Values in the Evaluation of Preference for Image (이미지에 대한 선호도 평가에 있어 상대가치 작용 반응 패턴)

  • This study examined the characteristics of brain's reaction pattern concerning the preference for product images and compared them with the result of subjects' intuitive evaluation of their preference for the same materials. Two tests were conducted; the first one that calculated comfort properties based on brainwave measurements in order to examine the impression given by the images of products presented separately, one-by-one, and the second one that had subjects evaluate the preference directly by comparing the images of all products simultaneously. The first test was titled 'Independent Cognitive Response' and the second test, 'Relative Cognitive Response', and their characteristics were as follows. In the 'Independent Cognitive Response', the state of emotion was expressed in absolute values based on the comparison with the information accumulated through the subject's own experience and the feeling expressed as 'pleasant' or 'unpleasant' persisted as absolute values. In the 'Relative Cognitive Response', the state of emotion relative to the information of other images compared in the stage of perceiving the images was expressed, and in this case, the state of emotion described as 'calm' or 'excited' acted as relative values.

  • 작물보호제를 보는 세간의 이목을 보노라면 대개는 내용이 퍽 독단적이고 감정적이며 과장된 표현이 적지 않음을 알 수 있다. 그럼에도 이런 평가를 접하는 대중들은 이것이 진실이라고 믿는 사람도 있을 것이다. 그것은 곧 세론(世論)을 이루게 되어 종국에는 작보제의 진실인 양 왜곡의 길을 걷는다. 비록 우리나라의 예는 아니지만, 이 같은 세간의 잘못된 지적과 평가에 대해 바로잡는 내용이 있어 인용해 본다. 올바른 인식을 갖는 호기가 되길 바란다.

  • As development of Information Technology and Internet are available, many industries are creating a lot of values through extension from physical space to virtual reality. However, use of Information Technology and Internet in real estate appraisal is unprepared. As a result, There is necessity of appraisal information system development based on GIS and Internet for pratical use of Information Technology. Therefore, in this study, presented development model which present a basic design of appraisal information system to fulfill information request in appraisal and use GIS and Internet.

Comparison of feature parameters for emotion recognition using speech signal (음성 신호를 사용한 감정인식의 특징 파라메터 비교)

  • In this paper, comparison of feature parameters for emotion recognition using speech signal is studied. For this purpose, a corpus of emotional speech data recorded and classified according to the emotion using the subjective evaluation were used to make statical feature vectors such as average, standard deviation and maximum value of pitch and energy and phonetic feature such as MFCC parameters. In order to evaluate the performance of feature parameters speaker and context independent emotion recognition system was constructed to make experiment. In the experiments, pitch, energy parameters and their derivatives were used as a prosodic information and MFCC parameters and its derivative were used as phonetic information. Experimental results using vector quantization based emotion recognition system showed that recognition system using MFCC parameter and its derivative showed better performance than that using the pitch and energy parameters.

A Tag-based Music Recommendation Using UniTag Ontology (UniTag 온톨로지를 이용한 태그 기반 음악 추천 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a music recommendation method considering users' tags by collaborative tagging in a social music site. Since collaborative tagging allows a user to add keywords chosen by himself to web resources, it provides users' preference about the web resources concretely. In particular, emotional tags which represent human's emotion contain users' musical preference more directly than factual tags which represent facts such as musical genre and artists. Therefore, to classify the tags into the emotional tags and the factual tags and to assign weighted values to the emotional tags, a tag ontology called UniTag is developed. After preprocessing the tags, the weighted tags are used to create user profiles, and the music recommendation algorithm is executed based on the profiles. To evaluate the proposed method, a conventional playcount-based recommendation, an unweighted tag-based recommendation, and an weighted tag-based recommendation are executed. Our experimental results show that the weighted tag-based recommendation outperforms other two approaches in terms of precision.

Impact of Emotional Labor on Quality of Service by Social Workers in Public Sector (사회복지전담공무원의 감정노동이 서비스 질에 미치는 영향)

  • Recently, social welfare officers are suffering from a lot of job stress due to increasing work and are carrying out emotional labor. This study assessed the effect of emotional labor on the quality of welfare service through a questionnaire survey on 937 civil servants in Sejong city and Chungcheongnam-do provinces. First, social welfare officers experienced more than average level of emotional labor, and they performed more internal behavior than surface behavior. Second, the services provided by the social welfare officers were higher than usual, followed by tangibility, assurance, reliability, empathy, and responsiveness. Third, deeping acting had a positive (+) influence on service quality among the sub-factors of emotional labor. In other words, the quality of service increases as the emotional state itself changes, On the other hand, deeping acting did not affect service quality. In the future, policy responses to excessive work burden of social welfare officers should be needed and a manual for responding to emotional labor should be provided.

  • 오늘날 인터넷은 개인의 감정, 의견을 서로 공유할 수 있는 공간이 되고 있다. 하지만 인터넷에는 너무나 방대한 문서가 존재하기 때문에 다른 사용자들의 감정, 의견 정보를 개인의 의사 결정에 활용하기가 쉽지 않다. 최근 들어 감정이나 의견을 자동으로 추출하기 위한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있으며, 감정 분석에 관한 기존 연구들은 대부분 어구의 극성(polarity) 정보가 있는 감정 사전을 사용하고 있다. 하지만 인터넷에는 나날이 신조어가 새로 생기고 언어 파괴 현상이 자주 일어나기 때문에 사전에 기반한 방법은 한계가 있다. 본 논문은 감정 분석 문제를 긍정과 부정으로 구분하는 이진 분류 문제로 본다. 이진 분류 문제에서 탁월한 성능을 보이는 Support Vector Machines(SVM)을 사용하며, 문서들 간의 유사도 계산을 위해 문장의 부분 문자열을 비교하는 문자열 커널을 사용한다. 실험 결과, 실제 영화평에서 제안된 모델이 비교 대상으로 삼은 Bag of Words(BOW) 모델보다 안정적인 성능을 보였다.

  • In this paper, we propose sensibility recognition model that recognize user's sensibility using brain waves. Method to acquire quantitative data of brain waves including priority living body data or sensitivity data to recognize user's sensitivity need and pattern recognition techniques to examine closely present user's sensitivity state through next acquired brain waves becomes problem that is important. In this paper, we used pattern recognition techniques to use Multi Layer Perceptron (MLP) that is pattern recognition techniques that recognize user's sensibility state through brain waves. We measures several subject's emotion brain waves in specification space for an experiment of sensibility recognition model's which propose in this paper and we made a emotion DB by the meaning data that made of concentration or stability by the brain waves measured. The model recognizes new user's sensibility by the user's brain waves after study by sensibility recognition model which propose in this paper to emotion DB. Finally, we estimates the performance of sensibility recognition model which used brain waves as that measure the change of recognition rate by the number of subjects and a number of hidden nodes.

  • Few would disagree with the idea that product aesthetics can be a powerful design tool, because it is important strategic variable not only for design research but also for product design. Surprisingly, however, academic literatures in design field are relatively silent of empirical research on how product aesthetics may be assessed and how its influence measured on consumer response. This study explores the role of the aesthetic elements of product design in influencing consumer response. Specifically, The study reports a psychometric scale to measure consumer perceptions of the aesthetic dimensions of a specific class of product. (the perfume bottle) Although the present effort focused on perfume products, the role of aesthetics in the design of various product and packaging extends beyond the studied product categories.

The influence of the Physical Environment of a Coffee Shop on Customer Evaluation and Satisfaction (커피전문점의 물리적 환경이 고객의 서비스 평가와 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to investigate the influence of physical environments on menu quality and service delivery in the coffee shop settings and to explore the impact of physical environments on overall customer satisfaction. Using a self-administered questionnaire survey, 376 respondents who have ever visited a coffee shop in Seoul and Kyunggido were used for this study. The results showed that physical environments had a positive influence on other service environments. In addition, physical environments enhanced the customer satisfaction with the coffee shop. The findings suggest that every physical environmental element at the coffee shop environments should be managed appropriately so that coffee shop customers have satisfactory experiences.
