A study on the Types of the Emotional Stimulation Factors of Digital Cartoons (디지털만화의 감성자극요인에 대한 유형 연구)

  • This study aimed to investigate the types that readers enjoying cartoons appreciated cartoons under the premise that cartoons enjoyed over the internet would expand their sensitivity through media such as monitors and mice. The sensitivity of readers enjoying digital cartoons can be stimulated through communication with carton writers or other readers as the interaction of the real-time response to the network. The choice and control are possible with a vertical scroll bar. Accordingly, readers can be absorbed in a work and focus on its story much more. As a result of extracting emotional stimulation factors to verify these assumptions, factors were able to classify the sensitivity that readers enjoying cartoons obtained from digital cartoons into two types, communication and story-focus type, based on the phases that emotional stimuli were strengthened. This study will be significant as a study to identify the relationship between media-technological factors and readers enjoying cartoons in relation to digital cartoons.

  • The purpose of this study is to maximize the development and utilization of digital innovation. First, analyzed the status of industrial development and digital innovation. Second, examined emotion and experience, looked into their types and properties. Third, attempted to develop a more creative and innovative user experience. The results of this study were presented as a theoretical basis, specification of research direction and research scope, and design analysis direction. It is expected to be used as a basic data that can help how to approach and interpret human emotions and behaviors in order to provide differentiated experiences by he essential concepts of emotions, experiences in various fields in the future.

The comparison of Sensibility Evaluation for Three Types of Air-conditioning Winds (냉방기류 변화에 대한 감성반응 비교)

  • 본 연구에서는 실내 쾌적성을 향상시키는데 적합한 에어컨의 기류형태를 파악하고자 세 가지 유형의 기류(감성기류, 풍향변화 기류, 풍향변화 기류)에 대한 감각반응, 정서반응 등을 측정, 비교하였다. 기류감을 나타내는 13개의 형용사 쌍으로 구성된 의미미분 척도에 대한 실험참가자의 평정을 변량분석한 결과, 감성기류가 다른 종류의 바람보다 선호되는 것으로 나타났으며, 간접적이고 신선하며 편안한 바람으로 평가되었다. 반면 풍량변화 기류는 가장 선호되지 않았으며, 직접적이고 거칠며 자극적인 바람으로 평가되었다. 정서반응에 대한 감각반응의 예측정도를 알아보기 위해 희귀분석을 실시한 결과, 변화가 없는 규칙적인 바람으로 평가되는 바람과 간접적인 바람을 쾌적 하다고 느끼고 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 감성반응에 영향을 주는 감각반응으로는 직접감이 단연 중요한 요인으로, 바람이 간접적으로 불어 온다고 판단될수록 이완되고 편안하다고 느끼며, 자연스럽고 부드러운 바람이라고 느끼는 것으로 나타났다.

Analysis of the key Factors that Influence Emotional Web Design and its Effects on Brand Attitude - focus on Fastfood WebSites - (웹에서의 감성디자인이 브랜드태도에 미치는 효과와 영향요인 분석 - 패스트푸드 사이트를 중심으로 -)

  • This paper focused on the effect of Kansei design on the web in branding as well as its influence factors. As a key of this research, it classified web users' Kansei into five categories; 1) functional Kansei, 2) sensoryKansei, 3) psychological Kansei, 4) relational Kansei and 5) cultural Kansei, and organized relevant factors. Online surveys were conducted on seven websites of the fast food brands in Korea (Lotteria, Mcdonald, BurgerKing, Popeyes, KFC, Pizza Hut, Domino's) which are targeting 463 male and females in 20s. As a result, an average of 58% responded that they had a positive Kansei experience and could enhanceits brand preference. Of the sensory Kansei, visual design factors were the one that gave the greatest effect on brand preference enhancement. Regarding the functional Kansei satisfaction, such as user convenience and access speed were also one of the most crucial variables for the whole Kansei satisfaction. Moreover, the preference enhancement brought not only a positive effect on its reliability but also its brand image and consumers' purchasing desire. Based on the survey results, the additional FGI (Focus Group Interview) had been conducted and determined \circled1 what kind of major Kansei that users wanted to have satisfied, \circled2 what type of design can give strong Kansei appeal to its users, and \circled3what design factors gave an effect on sensory emotion. In the course of this research, Itried to renew the awareness of the web importance as a major channel in non-mass interactive marketing, and suggest the effect and its possibility of emotional branding through Kansei design in the web as well as design principles of strategic Kansei design.

The Effect of Design Factors from Casual T-shirt on Sensibility of Consumer (캐주얼 티셔츠의 디자인 요소가 소비자 감성에 미치는 영향)

  • The objectives of this study are to identify sensibility factors involved in evaluating casual T-shirts design, and to analyze its effect on consumer sensibility, The consumer sensibility in evaluating casual T-shirts design consisted of three sub-dimensions, those are, 'stylishness', 'commonness', and 'activeness'. This study revealed that design factors of casual t-shirts, such as collar style, detail, position of logotype, size of logotype and demographic trait, have significant impact on the consumer sensibility. A few of scientific design methods were derived from the result of this study. A series of effective casual T-shirt prototypes, which was designed using these scientific methods, was presented to demonstrate how to achieve desired consumer impression. The derived scientific methods are expected to be used for specific valuation basis in design planning.

  • The purpose of this study was to draw application elements of housing interior design according to user-oriented sensibility types. The sensibility evaluation experiments were conducted to target the general user 118 people using the sensibility evaluation tool for housing interior space. The results of the analysis were as: To produce the 'cozy' space, the colors and materials giving soft and natural feeling should be used. For the 'practical' space, type of ceiling and window that give the visually open feeling, the user-oriented furniture arrangement that allows using the space efficiently. For the 'cheerful' space, the simple and natural effects should be produced by using closed space that stable. For the 'traditional' space, the natural fishing material having rough texture should be used. For the 'unique' space, the space contained the dynamic feeling by the diagonal or vertical line and the graphic expression in the wall. For the 'congenial' emotional space, basic is the symmetric, stable and simple space. On the other hand, for the material, small size, natural texture or typical and soft materials should be used. For the 'sensuous' space, the dynamic and vertical sense of space should be expressed by the type of ceiling. The most important elements for the space of 'gorgeous' sensibility, is the color.

  • 범주화(categorization)은 제품디자인에 있어서 매우 중요하다. 범주화의 유형에 따라 소비자의 감성이 다르고 감성의 차이에 따라 디자인 컨셉 및 디자인요소가 다르게 배합되어야 하기 때문이다. 특히 요즘처럼 제품라인이 확대되어 제품의 차별화가 모호한 경우에는 범주화과정이 필요하다. 즉 감성의 유사성정도를 바탕으로 정확한 범주를 정하고 컨셉화하여 소비자 지향적인 디자인을 제공해야 하는 것이다. 본 연구는 특정의 제품범주(장) 안에 유사한 하위 범주(고추장, 된장, 청국장, 쌈장, 간장)를 구성하고 있는 장류제품전체와 고추장, 된장, 청국장, 쌈장, 간장제품에 대한 소비자의 감성을 추출하고 그 유사성정도를 바탕으로 고추장, 된장, 청국장, 쌈장, 간장의 범주를 결정하여 디자인방향을 어떻게 결정해야 할지를 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 장류제품을 연구대상으로 한 것은 장류제품이 한국인의 식탁에서는 가장 기본적이고 중요한 제품 중의 하나이고 또 현대화시대의 라이프스타일과 환경의 변화로 시장이 확대되고 있기 때문이다. 실증연구는 전북지역과 서울지역의 소비자을 바탕으로 이루어졌다. 본 연구는 학문적 측면과 실무적 측면에서 제품디자인에 대한 다양한 통찰력을 제공할 것이다.

  • In this paper, research results on the change of music emotion are described. Our gaol was to provide a method of changing music emotion by a human user. Then we tried to find a way of transforming the contents of the original music into the music whose emotion is similar with the changed emotion. For the purpose, a method of changing the emotion of playing music on two-dimensional plan was describe. Then the original music should be transformed into the music which emotion would be equal to the changed emotion. As the first step a method of deciding which music factors and how much should be changed was presented. Finally the experimental method of editing by sound editor for changing the emotion was described. There are so many research results on the recognition of music emotion. But the try of changing the music emotion is very rare. So this paper would open another way of doing research on music emotion field.

A Study of Personality type & Evoked Potentials (성격유형과 유발전위 연구)

  • The purpose of the present study was to investigate personality type with evoked potentials. Teenage students(121 males, 69 females) tested Myers Briggs Type Indicator and raven like discrimination task by evoked potential. Raven like discrimination tasks were made of low, medium and high levels. Conclusively extraversion and introversion while accomplishing the raven like discrimination tasks, showed the significant difference between two groups in the power of concentration. M-Beta(middle beta), Gamma and H-Beta(high beta) were also appeared significant differences between two groups. The sensing and intuition type partially appeared the different tendency of two groups while accomplishing easy and medium of difficulty tasks. Thinking and Feeling type while accomplishing raven like discrimination tasks, showed difference of the concentration power and H-Beta at Fp1. But judgment and perception type did not appear the difference between two groups while accomplishing raven like discrimination tasks of low, medium, and high. These results implied that the personality type can be affected brain wave by evoked potentials.
