Purpose: This study is a structural model study to grasp the moderating effect of online and offline social support in interpersonal and depressive relationships of nursing students. Methods: This study surveyed 264 nursing students. The collected data is analyzed using Exploratory Factor Analysis, Confirmatory Factor Analysis, and PLS-SEM(Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model) using SPSS 25.0 and Smart PLS 3.0. Results: Interpersonal relationship problems and online social support had a significant effect on increasing depression, and offline social support had a significant effect on reducing depression. In addition, in the relationship between interpersonal problems and depression, only offline social support was found to be significant in the moderating effect. Conclusion: To reduce depression due to interpersonal problems of nursing college students, offline social support should be actively provided, and to investigate the moderating effect of online social support, a repetitive study is proposed that includes relevant variables such as social relationship types through SNS.

This is a descriptive research targeting 173 junior- and senior-year nursing students in Y area, and data were collected from October 15th to November 4th 2019. For data analysis, frequencies and percentages were calculated, and t-test and ANOVA were conducted along with the Scheffé test as a post-test. In addition, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis were employed. The study results are as follows. There were significant differences in self-efficacy, social support and burnout depending on grades(t= -2.20, p=.029) and major satisfaction(F=3.62, p=.029) among general characteristics of nursing students. When analyzing correlations among self-efficacy, social support and burnout of nursing students, there was a positive correlation between self-efficacy and social support(r=.214, p=.005), a negative correlation between burnout and self-efficacy(r=-.253, p<.001) and a negative correlation between burnout and social support(r=-.175, p=.021). Major satisfaction(β= -.21, p=.006) had the biggest influence on burnout, and it was followed by self-efficacy(β= -.16, p=.032) and social support(β= -.15, p=.047). The explanatory power of the model was 13.8 percent. In conclusion, it is required to improve university life satisfaction and clinical practice satisfaction and develop programs, which enhance social support and self-efficacy, for preventing burnout of nursing students during clinical practice.

Social support from parents had an impact on their college adjustment and career identity. The factors that affected college adjustment were academic year, satisfaction level with major and emotional support from mothers, and the factors that impacted on career identity were academic year, satisfaction level with major and informative support from fathers. In order to facilitate the college adjustment of nursing students, professors should try to develop efficient learning methods, meet with parents to inform them of the necessity of social support, share information on the major field of study and learning methods, and provide an opportunity for students to communicate with graduates or students who are years ahead of them in college so that they could have a better understanding of majoring in nursing.

A convenience sample of 228 nursing students was conducted from in three departments of nursing. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using IBM SPSS 21.0 program. The higher the social support and career decision self-efficacy, the lower the Job-Seeking Stress. The factors influencing Job-Seeking Stress were social support, first hope career, job readiness, career decision-making self-efficacy, and the explanatory power of these variables for Job-Seeking Stress was 19%.
