While the mostly high ranked category of biomedical ethics was the right to life of newborn($2.76{\pm}0.39$), the category with the lowest score was the artificial abortion($2.13{\pm}0.39$). Second, with respect to the characteristics of participants there were statistically significant difference in total score according to age, religion, and participation in religious activity, experience of hearing for biomedical ethics, sources of information for biomedical ethics, ethical values for biomedical ethics, and in intention to attend biomedical ethics in subjects. As a result, an arbitration program that could promote either changeable or controllable ethical values must be considered with attention to the significant variables that can promote the consciousness of biomedical ethics of freshmen nursing students.

  • Purpose: This study attempted to collect basic data to improve the basic repair ability of university freshmen in a world where the usage of advanced medical devices related to computer programs is now common. Methods: The collected data from 280 university freshmen enrolled in nursing, dental, and health degrees or computer and engineering degrees at K university of Gangwon-do were analyzed using the t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and linear regression analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 21.0 (IBM). Results: The mathematical learning status and the detailed factors of basic mathematical ability had a positive (+) correlation. The factors of basic mathematical ability, psychology of learning (p<0.001), method of learning (p<0.001), and propensity to learn (p<0.05) were found to be statistically significant, and the model's explanatory power was 40.0%. Conclusion: As a result of this study and considering that advanced medical devices such as computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing and three-dimensional printers are becoming more common and up-to-date in clinical settings, it is determined that nursing and dental health students require education to improve their repair skills.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlations between ADHD, depression, anxiety, suicide risk and suicide risk of university freshmen, and to investigate factors affecting suicide risk of university freshmen. As a result, the correlation between suicide risk and ADHD, depression, and anxiety were statistically significant. The correlation between suicide risk and ADHD (r=-.411) was moderately negative, while depression (r=-.594) and anxiety (r=-.563) were high negative correlations. According to the logistic regression analysis, the significant factors affecting suicide risk of college freshmen were ADHD, depression, and anxiety. In the abnormal group of variables, ADHD (OR=3.17; 95% CI 1.36-7.38), depression (OR=10.80; 95% CI 4.32-27.02) and anxiety (OR=3.39; 95% CI 1.55-7.41) were identified as influencing factors. As such, suicide risk groups of college freshmen are highly associated with ADHD, depression, and anxiety. Therefore, personal counseling and regular psychological tests of college freshmen will be provided to the high-risk suicide program to help students' psychological stability and adjustment to school life.

Methods: The subjects were 177 freshmen of Nursing College who agreed on participating in this research. Data was collected from April, 2nd, 2012 to April, 5th. The data was analyzed by operating t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient with PASW 18.0. Results: It was appeared that ESFJ type was the highest MBTI type among the objects of this study, and ISTJ, ESFP were ranked to next to it. Among the four indexes of MBTI, it was appeared that E(Extroversion), S(Sensing), F(Feeling), and J(Judging) were higher. According to personality types, it showed that I type students perceived stress higher than E type, and E type students adapted themselves to school lives better than I type, and the degree of resilience was higher. Also, the higher the degree of stress they had, the lower school Adaptation and the degree of resilience they got. While, as the school Adaptation got higher, the degree of resilience grew higher. Conclusions: It is needed to help the freshmen of Nursing College to adapt to school efficiently, by testing their MBTI personality types, and then to help I type students to overcome their stress and adapt to school better. Also, it is considered to develop and operate the programs which can improve the resilience, since the results of this study have indicated that the students showing the higher scores of resilience were acclimating to school well.

Data were analyzed by ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 14.0 program. Results: The mean score of depressive symptom was $17.55{\pm}11.24$ and prevalence of depression was 26.5% in college freshmen. And those in college seniors were $14.18{\pm}14.17$ and 17.4%. And those were significantly higher in college freshmen than in seniors. The depressive symptom was a significant negative correlation with spiritual well-being, existential spiritual well-being, religious spiritual well-being, and faith maturity. • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data for establishing a unique admissions promotion strategy for each university and to innovate the paradigm of university admissions promotion through the examples of central universities in the practice of PR promotion based on big data analysis. To this end, prior literature related to university publicity (marketing), and recognition of prospective college students who visited the university, and database data were defined and analyzed as big data. As a result, first, the preliminary studies related to college entrance exam promotion (marketing) increased dramatically in the 2000s and 2010s as part of preparing for countermeasures against population decline in school age. Responding to the need for an admissions promotion strategy to accelerate visits to prospective college students, the database data analysis result suggested the selection and concentration of entrance exam strategies based on the university's regional and academic characteristics.
