The Study on Application of Fast Track Method for Dam Project Life Cycle′s Analysis (댐 공사에서의 Fast Track을 적용한 생애주기분석에 관한 연구)

  • It is true that SOC facilities, such as dams, need long life cycles since more time has to be invested for the phases of planning, examination, feasibility study, design, contract, construction, and maintenance. This longer life cycle is easily exposed to the risk. And thus, brings additional cost by the delayed project, convenient loss according to the additional run of use, and benefit lose of not to using the facilities. So, the purpose of this study is to try to find a solution to reduce these time consuming problems which could diminish the whole national competition. Hence, this study is to show efficient, systematical project performance and network model by using reciprocal analyses between the construction period and cost based on economical analysis of each phase of life cycles. In addition, on the basis of these outputs, the Fast Track Method is suggested as an alternative solution as a new Approach in Life Cycle's Analysis.

  • Using hybrid channel affords the benefits of achieving control through the direct channel and achieving flexibility through the indirect channel. However, using a hybrid channel also poses special challenges to a manufacturer, including the problem of managing multiple channel members with disparate goals and priorities. The purpose of this study is to enhance our understanding on the management of hybrid channel. We study marketing channels for fashion apparel to examine governance challenges and solutions of a hybrid channel. We have two objectives to fulfill that purpose. First, we aim to tie two largely separate research streams of salesforce management and marketing channel management together by examining both intrafrim governance and interfirm governance issues under one conceptual framework. Second, we aim to lay a ground work for rigorous further research on this topic by tying two major theoretical approaches of governance together under one conceptual framework. Our predictions were tested with data from the survey of apparel manufacturers and retailers. The analysis results support the predictions moderately.

The Estimation of Weight of Attributes of Geological & Thematic Maps Using the AHP Method (AHP분석을 통한 지질도 및 주제도의 가치구성요소별 중요도 분석)

  • Geological and related thematic maps make various economical and social benefits at many sectors. Recently, development of information managing technology such as GIS, Geographic Information System, enlarges the usage of geological map and information. In this research, using the Analytic Hierarchy Process, we analyzed the weight of attributes which compose value of geological map and information. Results of research are as follows. By the analysis of the weight of attributes, we found that the weight of confidence, upper hierarchy attribute, was above 50%. The weight of convenience and additional effect was about $16%{\sim}30%$ in the geological map, geophysical map, geochemical map and hydrogeologic map. And the consumption of each maps will increase, especially in large scale map.

Study on Optimal Location of Washland Based on Economic Analysis (경제성 분석에 의한 강변저류지 최적위치 선정에 대한 연구)

  • In this study, methodology to determine optimal location of washlands based on economic analysis is presented. Install costs of washlands are calculated by construction cost and land compensatory cost and benefits of washlands are calculated from flood damage reduction and befit from using washland as wetland. Indirect approach for runoff-flood damage relationship is suggested and benefit-cost analysis is used for economic analysis. Economic analysis is added to existing models that used only flood reduction effect to determine optimal location of washlands. Suggested methodology is applied to 13 potential washlands in Anseong River basin to examine its applicability. Applied result of new methodology is compared with that of existing model. As the application results, it is possible to determine the optimal combinations of washlands can provide more economic benefit compared to existing studies. It is determined that considering economic analysis can be better option for decision making problem searching for optimal location of washlands.

  • According to the rapid economic growth and the escalation of recreational tourism activities due to the change of job and working patterns, currently various traffic problems often occur in tourist areas. As tourist traffic, contrary to general traffic, is not regional but rather from outside the area of interest, it is hard to grasp the traffic situation surrounding the tourist area. Furthermore, since the traffic is concentrated during a limited tourist season, it is difficult to examine and solve the problem. In this study, in order to test the feasibility of introducing a traffic transfer system to reduce congestion in tourist areas, the authors considered the differences in traffic congestion between typical and tourist seasons and designed a willingness to pay model. The willingness to pay amount for a shuttle bus fare is assumed as 1,430 Won and 1,650 Won is assumed for a transfer parking charge. These amounts were slightly above the current bus fare in the study area, but many people thought that the introduction of a traffic transfer system would help to relieve the traffic congestion approaching the tourist area and to develop tourism resources. As the willingness to pay appeared high from the persons used in this study, it was indirectly confirmed that the introduction of a traffic transfer system would be a step in the right direction.

Economic Valuation of Urban Riverine Restoration and A Test of Social Desirability Bias (도심하천복원 경제가치 추정에서 사회규범편의 검정)

  • The hypothetical nature of stated preferences can lead to a hypothetical bias that might work as a normative pressure, influencing survey responses. This paper aims to test the impact of social desirability bias by comparing economic estimates based on both subjective and objective valuation questions. The case study is about an urban riverine restoration project in Deajeon, South Korea. As valuation methods both contingent valuation and choice experiments were comparatively applied. Based on a nationally representative sample of 1,000 respondents, the test results offered contrasting conclusions between two test approaches. Accroding to the estimation results based on the conventional valuation, the marginal willingness to pay estimates are 10,500 KRW from CV; and 18,600 KRW for improving water quality, 2,200 KRW for the inside view, 8,900 KRW for the outside view, and 5,800 KRW for biodiversity from CE. A segmentation-based approach is a conventionally used method, which showed a limited impact of social desirability on willingness to pay estimates. The alternative parameterization-based approach measures a model-wide impact of social desirability, proving a significant bias. Although the study positioned a cheap-talk statement before the valuation section of the survey questionnaires, which might have pre-screened the bias, the overall implications of the results suggest a caution in reducing and observing hypothetical bias. There might remain a significant and substantial hypothetical bias even after cheap-talk, particularly in situations with strong social desirability, so that the potential role of objective valuation questions is guaranteed.

A Transit Trip Assignment Model Under Capacity Restraint (용량을 고려한 대중교통 통행배정모형 구축에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 대중교통 통행배정모형이 고려하지 않거나 미흡하게 반영하였던 차량과 노선의 용량제약을 고려한 모형의 구축을 시도하였다. 일반적으로 대중교통 통행배정에서 수요와 공급의 관계는 수요가 증가하는 것과 무관하다고 받아들여지고 있으나 용량 초과는 통행자들의 경로선택 및 수단선택에 영향을 끼친다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 용량초과에 의한 혼잡을 반영하기 위해 용량제약식을 포함한 모형을 개발하고 실용운행회수라는 개념을 도입하였다. 또한 기존에 제시된 용량제약을 고려한 모형들이 실제적인 현상을 정확히 모사하는 데에는 한계가 있을 뿐 만 아니라 현실과 다소 거리가 있는 가정이 내재되어 있는 반면 본 연구에서는 가능한 한 최대로 현실 여건을 반영하는 모형을 정립하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 모형은 동일한 기종점 사이를 운행하는 경쟁노선이 많은 대도시에서 통근·통학을 위한 통행자들이 많은 오전, 오후 첨두시 대중교통 수요를 분석하여 대중교통의 운행관리체계 개선 및 투자계획, 서비스 개선을 위한 수요예측을 하는데 유용하게 사용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 그리고 기존의 대중교통 통행배정의 결과가 현재나 장래의 잠재적인 수요(demand)를 예측하는 방법인데 반하여 본 연구에서 정립된 모형은 주어진 네트워크에서 실제로 통행하고 있는 수요(flow)를 예측함으로써 교통 계획가나 대중교통 운영자의 계획 및 운영정책수립에 합리적인 도움을 줄 수 있다. 또한 현재의 대중교통 시스템 하에서의 통행배정 뿐만 아니라 다른 형태의 용량과 운행특성을 가진 교통 수단이나 노선이 도입되었을 때 공급이 제한적인 경우의 수요 예측에 적합한 모형을 개발하였다.에 대한 규제가 초국가적 차원으로 발전되는 계기를 제공하고 있다. 향후, 담배규제협약안의 세부사안들에 대한 합의과정에서 각 국별로 상당한 이견과 반발이 예상되고 있지만, 협약안의 전체 회원국 투표에서 승인될 경우 각 국가들뿐만 아니라 담배산업과 담배기업들에게 미치는 파급효과가 매우 클 것으로 예상된다. 대부분의 국제협약들이 그러하듯이, 담배규제협약도 그 적용 범위와 수준이 어느 정도로 결정되는지에 따라 각 국가와 기업별 이해관계가 크게 달라지게 되기 때문에 신중한 대응전략이 요구된다고 하겠다.의 화물전용차선의 설치시는 수답렬 교통량의 구성비와 구간 평균교통량에 의하여 그 효과가 다르게 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 물류비용 절감차원에서의 화물전용차선의 설치는 본 연구에서 나타낸 방법과 같이 수단간의 경제적 편익을 고려한 구간별 시간대별 효과분석을 통하여 정책의 시행여부가 결정되어야 할 것이다. 한편, 화물전용차선의 설치로 인한 물류비용의 절감을 보다 효과적으로 달성하기 위해서는 종합류류 전산망의 시급한 구축과 함께 화물차의 적재율을 높이고 공차율을 낮출 수 있는 운송체계의 수립이 필요한 것으로 판단된다. 그라나 이러한 화물전용차선의 효과는 단기적인 치유책일 수밖에 없기 때문에 물류유통 시설의 확충을 위한 사회간접자본의 구축을 서둘러 시행하여야 할 것이다.으로 처리한 Machine oil, Phenthoate EC 및 Trichlorfon WP는 비교적 약효가 낮았다.>$^{\circ}$E/$\leq$30$^{\circ}$NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군

The Effect of Product Scarcity and Purchase Behavior in Location-Based Application Services (위치기반 어플리케이션 서비스에서 제품의 희소성과 구매행동과의 영향)

  • Location-based services have distinctive service characteristics compared to the past online commerce used on the desktop. In any place, mobile communication devices can be used to access online and utilize online shopping, and it is more convenient for users. In addition, by providing shopping and service information specific to each location, it is possible to provide convenience to the consumers according to their locations. In addition, it provides scarcity of information as well as location, thereby increasing consumers' desire to purchase. In this study, we investigated the effect of scarcity on the Purchase intention of consumers in location-based services. The steps of scarcity are: first, a step without scarcity, Second, providing time limit information, Third, providing quantity limitation information, Fourth, the experiment was designed to provide time and quantity limitation, and 4 groups were analyzed through experimental stimuli The purpose of this study is to verify the moderating effect of the dependent variable on the degree of scarcity by adding 'ubiquity', 'interactivity' and 'privacy' which are characteristics of location-based service. As a result of the analysis, scarcity of time and scarcity of quantity limitation scarcity stimuli showed a moderating effect on ubiquity, interactivity and consumer's purchase intention, and these variables also directly or indirectly affected positively. Consumer confidence was found to have a negative effect on consumers' purchase intentions.

A Study on the Demand for Cultural Ecosystem Services in Urban Forests Using Topic Modeling (토픽모델링을 활용한 도시림의 문화서비스 수요 특성 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the demand for cultural ecosystem services in urban forests based on user perception and experience value by using Naver blog posts and LDA topic modeling. Bukhansan National Park was used to analyze and review the feasibility of spatial assessments. Based on the results of topic modeling from blog posts, a review process was conducted considering the relevance of Bukhansan National Park's cultural services and its suitability as a spatial assessment case, and finally, an index for the spatial assessment of urban forest's cultural service was derived. Specifically, 21 topics derived through topic analysis were interpreted, and 13 topics related to cultural ecosystem services were derived based on the MA(Millennium Ecosystem Assessment)'s classification system for ecosystem services. 72.7% of all documents reviewed had data deemed useful for this study. The contents of the topic fell into one of the seven types of cultural services related to "mountainous recreation activities" (23.7%), "indirect use value linked to tourism and convenience facilities" (12.4%), "inspirational activities" (11.2%), "seasonal recreation activities" (6.2%), "natural appreciation and static recreation activities" (3.7%). Next, for the 13 cultural service topics derived from data gathered about Bukhansan National Park, the possibility of spatial assessment of the characteristics of cultural ecosystem services provided by urban forests was reviewed, and a total of 8 cultural service indicators were derived. The MA's cultural service classification system for ecosystem services, which was widely used in previous studies, has limitations in that it does not reflect the actual user demand of urban forests, but it is meaningful in that it categorizes cultural service indicators suitable for domestic circumstances. In addition, the study is significant as it presented a methodology to interpret and derive the demand for cultural services using a large amount of user awareness and experience data.

Economic Analysis of the Fuel Forests Established by I.B.R.D. Saemaeul Project Loan (I.B.R.D. 새마을사업차관(事業借款)에 의한 연료림조성(燃料林造成)의 경제분석(經濟分析)에 관한 연구(硏究))

  • The study was performed to decide the returns or investment efficiency of the fuel forest established project and to examine its economic value as compared the benefit with the cost occurring from that established by I.B.R.D loan. The data got from the surveying plot and other things connected with the project were applied to the measures of benefit-cost ratio and internal rate of return (IRR). The following are the results from the economic analysis of the fuel forest created by the loan per hectare 1) In case of converting the fuelwood value from the fuel forest into briquet price, the benefit-cost ratio is 1.18 at the 6 percent discount rate and the IRR is appraised to 12.2 percent 2) In the sensitivity analysis estimated by the rising rate of rural wages 27% the yearly mean, the B/C ratio is 1.07 at the 6 percent discount rate and the IRR 9.2 percent. 3) In the sensitivity analysis estimated by the rising rate of briquet price, 26% the yearly mean, the B/C ratio is 1.34 at the 6 percent discount rate and the IRR is appraised high to 15.7 percent 4) In the event of including indirect effects to the direct in the project, the economic effect could be increased just a little more.
