  • We propose a reference vector diversity method in multi-cell multi-user uplink system with the subspace interference alignment to obtain higher sum rate capacity. The proposed method transmits several reference vectors before the data transmission, and selects the best reference vector to maximize the cell sum rate. The proposed method provides higher sum-rate capacity compared with the previous interferenc alignment. Simulation result exhibits the proposed method improves the sum-rate capacity by 60%.

  • In this paper, we introduce three types of opportunistic interference management strategies in multi-cell uplink networks with time-invariant channel coefficients. First, we propose two types of opportunistic interference mitigation techniques, where each base station (BS) opportunistically selects a set of users who generate the minimum interference to the other BSs, and then their performance is analyzed in terms of degrees-of-freedom (DoF). Second, we propose a distributed opportunistic scheduling, where each BS opportunistically select a user using a scheduler designed based on two threshold, and then its performance is analyzed in terms of throughput scaling law. Finally, numerical evaluation is performed to verify our result.

  • We propose a subspace interference alignment by orthogonalization of reference vectors. The proposed method improves the sum-rate capacity degradation due to the channel decomposition error and channel estimation error in the real environment. Using the proposed method, each cell uses the reference vector that is orthogonal to the adjacent cells. Then the residual interference produced by the channel decomposition error and the channel estimation error is decreased. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves the enhanced sum-rate capacity.

  • In this study, we examined the interactive aspects between pitch reduction phenomena considered a universal language phenomenon and native language interference in the production of L2 intonation performed by Chinese learners of Korean. To investigate their interaction, we conducted an acoustic analysis using acoustic measures such as pitch span, pitch level, pitch dynamic quotient, skewness, and kurtosis. In addition, the correlation between text comprehension and pitch was examined. The analyzed material consisted of four Korean discourses containing five and seven sentences of varying difficulty. Seven Korean native speakers and thirty Chinese learners who differed in their Korean proficiency participated in the production test. The results, for differences by language, showed that Chinese had a more expanded pitch span, and a higher pitch level than Korean. The analysis between groups showed that at the beginner and intermediate levels, pitch reduction was prominent, i.e., their Korean was characterized by a compressed pitch span, low pitch level, and less sentence internal pitch variation. Contrariwise, the pitch use of advanced speakers was most similar to Korean native speakers. There was no significant correlation between text difficulty and pitch use. Through this study, we observed that pitch reduction was more pronounced than native language interference in the phonetic layer.

  • Visible light communication using LED is a technique for transmitting digital data using the light of the LED. Recently, high-speed data rate plays an important role. Therefore, many scholars have researched the MIMO-VLC which is able to increase data rate using a lot of LED transmitters. However, it has problems such as light interference and flicker when transmitting different bit. Many researcher have focused on reduce interference. However it is not considered about flicker problem. Flicker is defined unstable brightness. It occurred the tired of human eyes, lowers eyesight and also decreases concentration. In order to solve this flicker problem in MIMO-VLC, we propose the PFM(Parallel Flicker Mitigation) code. PFM code using combinatorial theory can maintain constant brightness the whole bit duration. Therefore, it is possible to assure the brightness by confirm simulation results.

  • Recently, precision guided munition systems and missile defense systems based on GPS have been taking a key role in modern warfare. In warfare however, unexpected interferences cause by large/small scale fading, radio frequency interferences, etc. These interferences result in a severe GPS positioning error, which could occur late supports and friendly fires. To solve the problems, this paper proposes an interference mitigation positioning method by adopting a wavelet denoising filter algorithm. The algorithm is applied to a GPS/QZSS/Wi-Fi combined positioning system which was performed by this laboratory. Experimental results of this paper are based on a real field test data of a GPS/QZSS/Wi-Fi combined positioning system and a simulation data of a wavelet denoising filter algorithm. At the end, the simulation result demonstrates its superiority by showing a 21.6% improved result in comparison to a conventional GPS system.

  • The VLC (visible light communication) system is communication technology using visible rays (RGB) that come out in LED device. It is energy curtailment effect and possible in ubiquitous network service applications. Also, VLC system has the above advantage about that the communication throughout the whole room is enabled by high power lighting and lighting equipment with white colored LED which are easy to install and have good outward appearance. However, the signal detection performance for the receiver near the network of transmitter boundary is severely degraded and the transmission efficiency decreased due to the influence of the interference signal from the adjacent networks. In this paper, we propose an interference mitigation method with optical beamforming in VLC systems, and evaluate the reception performance. For the system BER, the proposed optical beamforming transmission demonstrates the performance enhancement compared to the not using the optical beamforming scheme, and up to about 5~6dB SNR performance gain is achieved.

  • Currently, Demand of data traffic has rapidly increased by popular of smart device. It is very difficult to accommodate demand of data traffic by limited resource of base station (BS). To solve this problem, method has proposed that the Device-to-Device (D2D) reduce frequency overload of the BS and all of the user equipment (UE) inside the BS and neighbor BS don't allow communicating directly to BS. However, in LTE-Advance system cellular link and sharing radio resources of D2D link, the strong interference of the cellular network is still high. So we need to eliminate or mitigate the interference. In this paper, we use the transmission power control method and Soft Frequency Reuse (SFR) resource allocation method to mitigate the interference of the cellular link and D2D link. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme has high performance in terms of Signal to Noise Ratio (SINR) and system average throughput.

  • The Physics of the Plume-induced shock and separation Particularly at a high Plume to exit pressure ratio and supersonic speeds up to Mach 3.0 with and without a passive control method, porous extension, were studied using computational techniques. Mass-averaged Navier-Stokes equations with the RNG $\kappa$-$\varepsilon$ turbulence model were solved using a fully implicit finite volume scheme and a 4-stage Runge-Kutta method. The control methodology for plume-afterbody interactions is to use a perforated wall attached at either the nozzle exit or the edge of the missile base. The Effect of porous wall length on plume interference is also investigated The computational results show the main effect of the porous extension on plume-afterbody interactions is to restrain the plume from strongly underexpanding during a change in flight conditions. With control, a change in porous extension length has no significant effect rut plume interference.
