A new interference cancellation applying widowing technique in PCS environment (PCS 환경에서 윈도우 기법을 적용한 새로운 직렬 간섭 제거 기술)

  • In this paper, we analyzed the serial interference cancellation scheme and proposed the new serial interference cancellation scheme suppressing multiple access interference. Compensating for the near-far effect and the multiple access interference is critical for the stable performance of DS/CDMA system, and the serial multiple access interference cancellation has been proposed as one of the compensation methods. But this serial interference cancellation scheme has a linear variation in the number of cancellation operation each users. Becaure of this variation, it is difficult to show a stable performance. Hence, we suggested a new serial interference applying window technique to overcome this fault and made a performance estiamation.

Broadband Interference Patterns in Shallow Water with Constant Bottom Slope (해저면 경사가 일정한 천해에서의 광대역 간섭 유형)

  • Broadband interference patterns are studied using ship as an acoustic source in shallow waters with varying bathymetry. Waveguide invariant index (β) indicating the pattern of constructive (or destructive) interference in range-frequency domain is derived in a waveguide with constant bottom slope based on adiabatic mode theory. Using this invariant, changes of the interference patterns resulting from the variation of bottom bathymetry are analyzed. Results of the analytic interpretation is compared with those from sea experiments and numerical simulations.

  • Fourth-order interference is investigated between fluorescent photons from an atom driven by a laser and then laser field itself, and compared with second-order interference. For some consitions the visibility exceeds 50% which is known to be classical limit. Even though a long time has passed since the laser beam drives the atom, the fourth-order interference can exist while the 2nd-order interference disappear for $\Omega/\beta$>>1.

  • The existing in-band interference reduction method recommends the physical separation distance between wireless devices and interference signals, and the interference can be suppressed through the separation distance. If the in-band interference signals can be reduced in a wireless device, a margin can be given to the physical separation distance. Since there is an effect of extending the receiver dynamic range of receivers, it is highly useful for interference reduction and improvement method. In this paper, the structure of an in-band analog IRM(Interference Reduction Module) is proposed and the design and implementation of the proposed analog IRM are described. To design an analog IRM, the interference reduction performance according to the delay mismatch, phase error and the number of delay lines that affect the performance of the analog IRM was simulated. The proposed analog IRM composed of 16 delay lines was implemented and the implemented IRM has the interference reduction performance of about 10dB for a 5G(NR-FR1-TM-1.1) signal having a 40MHz bandwidth at a center frequency of 3.32GHz. The analog IRM proposed in this paper can be used as an in-band interference canceller.

  • In this paper we have evaluated the degree of performance improvement in Multi-Carrier CDMA system adopting CCI canceller against MUI under mobile channel coexisting MU which is a major interference degrading the performance of Multi-carrier CDMA system. As a result of analysis, BER performance was improved by adopting CCI canceller and it was found that the amount of performance improvement was largely increased as Eb/No became higher. As an example, in case that data service BER = 10$^{-5}$ must be achieved with $E_{b/}$ $N_{o}$ = 12 ㏈, 4 users could be supported without CCI canceller while 30 users could be supported with CCI canceller, Also, we found that performance improving effect of 5$\times$10$^{-3}$ in a point of view BER could be achieved by adopting CCI canceller with fixed $E_{b/}$ $N_{o}$. o/. o/.

  • The Analysis of spray characteristics for combined spray group are necessary to develop large rocket engine. In this study, basic effects of interaction from spray fan formed by impinging jets were investigated with respect to mass distribution, droplet velocities and diameter. Patternater and PDPA are used for experimental apparatus. Water was used as a test fluid When momentum ratio is 1, effect of interaction from collision of spray fan on mass distribution are small. Also, effect of interaction from collision of spray fan on droplet velocities and diameter are small. But, droplet diameter is smaller near collision point due to second collision. Therefor, for the same momentum ratio from spray fan formed by impinging jets, we may neglect effect of interaction on mass distribution, droplet velocities and diameter.

  • In this paper, we have estimated by means of the theoretical analysis and the simulation of FCA(Fixed Channel Assignment) and CB(Channel Borrowing) in order to consider the CB as a technique to meet ducting interference from adjacent countries. Also, we assumed that the receiving power level of ducting interference with time rate can be characterized by the normal distribution due to the previous measured results, and the ducting interferences which are exceeding the reference power level can be regarded as calls. These calls can be processed by CR assignment and by which sharing channels between cells brings to us the method of meeting the ducting interference to use spectrum resources effectively. However, the spectrum frequency reusing and the interference effects between channels should be considered in CB simulation in the future.

  • 본 논문에서는 전이중 통신 방식을 사용하는 DOCSIS 3.1 시스템의 자기간섭 제거를 위한 자기간섭신호의 채널 및 비선형 왜곡 요소를 추정하는 기술을 제안한다. DOCSIS 3.1 시스템의 전이중 통신 방식은 일반적으로 가입자 단말인 CM (Cable Modem) 과 케이블방송신호 송신 시스템인 CMTS (Cable Modem Termination System) 사이의 상하향 통신을 시간/주파수의 분할 없이 동시에 수행하는 통신 방식이다. CMTS 에서 CM 의 신호를 수신함과 동시에 CMTS 신호를 송신하는 경우 고출력의 CMTS 송출신호가 CMTS 의 수신기로 인가되는 자기간섭 현상이 발생하게 된다. 이렇게 인가되는 자기간섭신호는 고출력 증폭기 (HPA: High - Power Amplifier) 및 Feedback 채널의 영향으로 크게 왜곡되어 수신된다. 따라서 자기간섭신호를 제거하고 CM 의 신호를 원활하게 복조하기 위해서는 자기간섭신호의 왜곡 요소룰 추정 및 보상하는 절차가 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 자기간섭신호의 HPA 에서 발생하는 비선형 왜곡 요소 및 Feedback 채널의 영향으로 발생하는 채널 요소를 추정하는 기술을 제안하고 성능을 분석한다. 제안된 기술은 간단한 연산기반으로 왜곡요소의 추정이 가능하며 반복추정을 통해 성능을 효과적으로 향상시키는 것이 가능하다.

  • In this paper, we introduce a modified interference cancellation scheme to overcome MAI(Multiple Access Interference) in DS-CDMA. Among ICs(Interference Cancellers), PIC(Parallel Interference Canceller) requires the more stages to have the better BER(Bit Error Rate), and SIC(Successive Interference Canceller) faces the problems of power reordering and large delays. To resolve the problems of them, we propose a modified interference cancellation scheme combining SIC and PIC. The proposed interference canceller has improved the performance through the total received signal applied sorting method is fed into the initial stage. Its structure extracts the good characteristics because of the input signal removed MAI in the initial stage. The characteristics of the proposed system are as follows (1) smaller delay, and the strongest user signal is also reduced to MAI(unlike SIC), (2) it has the good BER performance only using fewer stages (unlike PIC).

  • In this paper, we introduce a modified interference cancellation scheme to overcome MAI in DS-CDMA. Among ICs(Interference Cancellers), PIC(Parallel IC) requires the more complexity, and SIC(Successive IC) faces the problems of the long delay time. Most of all, the adaptive detector achieves the good BER performance using the adaptive filter conducted iteration algorithm. so it requires many iterations. To resolve the problems of them, we propose an improved adaptive detector that the received signal removed MAI through the sorting scheme and the cancellation method are fed into the adaptive filter. Because the improved input signal is fed into the adaptive filter, it has the same BER performance only using smaller iterations than the conventional adaptive detector, and the proposed detector having adaptive filter requires less complexity than the other detectors.
