Although Osteoid osteoma has occurred in every bone of the body, it is rarely found at the elbow and in younger children than 5 years old. In 2 years old child, diagnosis can be delayed because of nonspecific clinical, radiological features and making it difficult for the child to communicate with physician. We report a case of osteoid osteoma of the distal humeral metaphysis with intracapsular nidus and synovitis of elbow in 2 years old girl who was treated by a surgical excision.

Low grade central osteosarcoma is an rare variant of conventional osteosarcoma and generally occurs in older age than conventional. We experienced a case of low grade osteosarcoma occurred in a 12 years old female. Moreover, it occurred multifocally in left tibia, left femoral neck and midshaft, and left acetabulum. We could not sure whether it was from synchronous or metachronous metastasis. Usually the low grade osteosarcoma progresses very slowly. But, despite this case was low grade osteosarcoma with very indolent progression, furthermore, it showed synchronous or metachronous metastasis. So we report this unusual case with review of literature.

Background: We evaluated the clinical and the radiological results of treatment for humeral shaft fractures by using an antegrade intramedullary nail. Methods: Thirty-nine (39) cases of humeral shaft fractures treated with antegrade intramedullary nail were evaluated. Bone union was evaluated with simple radiographic findings, and a functional evaluation was done using the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) score. Results: The average duration until union was 14.1 weeks. On the functional evaluation using the ASES score, 15 cases were excellent, 19 cases good, 3 cases fair, and 2 cases poor. Conclusion: We conclude that antegrade intramedullary nailing has a good clinical and radiological result for treatment of humeral shaft fractures.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate trunk and gluteal muscle activation during one-leg standing or two-leg standing with lumbar stabilizing taping using non-elastic tape. Method: The subjects of this study were twenty subjects(man=11, women=9) who be in good physical health and have not problem to back muscle and one leg standing. The surface electromyographic(EMG) data were recorded on external oblique(EO), gluteus medius(GMed), gluteus maximus(GMax), quadratus lumborum(QL) while pre- and post-lumbar stabilizing taping in two-leg standing and one-leg standing. The analysis of data was performed using the paired samples t-test to compare the difference of EMG activity of pre and post lumbar stabilizing taping. Result: Contrast of pre-lumbar stabilizing taping the muscle activity of QL in post-lumbar stabilizing taping is significant decrease on two-leg standing posture(p<.05), and the muscle activity of GMed is significant increase on one-leg standing posture(p<.05). Thus, we suggest that lumbar stabilizing taping using by functional tape will be able to affect on lumbar stability and gluteal muscle retraining.

Excellence of the Korean traditional paper(Hanji) can be proved by literatures and legacies handed down from generations. However, with the problems pertaining to a majority of traditional manufactures, Hanji industry was declined because of low productivity, insufficient supply of raw material , and reduced demand. therefore, modernizxation of the Hanji technology and development of new uses are very important. This study was carried to investigated the papermaking characteristics of Morus spp.(M.alba, M.Bombycis, and M.Ihou) for new Hanji, modernize manufacturing process of Hanji by grafting on developed modern pulping and papermaking technology, develop the various uses, and establish the foundation for development of high value-added products. Hanji is made from M.Ihou, while stalk , and sulfomethylated pulp gave better sheet formation and higher brightness than those of the others. Physical properties of Hanji which made from bast fiber pulps were better than those of whole stalk pulps. Hanji which made from M.bombycis bast fiber and whole stalk pulps were not so good sheet strength as other species. Sulfomethylated whole stalk pulps were shown better sheet strength than alkali and alkali-hydrogen peroxide whole stalk pulps.

As to the research method for this study, it examines the conceptional understanding of organizational politics along with existing theories, prior research and prior models on the perception of organizational politics. Empirical analysis concerning the six hypothesis of the research, is carried out based upon returned questionnaires. The subjects of the survey were more than sergeant executive of 51 units R.O.K Army. Out of the 350 copies of the questionnaire, 323 copies were returned of which 294 were used for analysis. Results indicated that perceptions of organizational politics were negatively related to job attitudes(eg. job satisfaction, organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior). The relationship between perceptions of organizational politics and organizational citizenship behavior was moderated by trust in supervisor. Finally, implications and future research suggestions are discussed.

Special anesthetic considerations were required for children with acute or chronic liver disease. We experienced a case of dental treatment to control infection under general anesthesia in the 2-year-old girl with liver failure. She was also scheduled for liver tansplantation. Her preanesthetic results of liver function test, electrolytes, and coagulation panel were unstable and out of normal ranges. Uneventful anesthetic induction using isoflurane and atracurium and nasotracheal intubation were carried out. General anesthesia was maintained with isoflurane for 2 hours. Oozing from multiple extraction sites was sustained, so the transfusion of platelet concentration 1 units, fresh frozen plasma 1 unit, and packed red blood cell 1 unit was done. She was recovered without complication but was transferred to pediatric intensive care unit for wound care with her endotracheal tube kept. She was transferred to a ward without noticeable complications next day. So we report this successful case of anesthetic management for dental treatment in a child with liver failure.

This study analyzed recruiting system, competence requirement system, promotion system by competence verification, and expert training system in fire officials of the Tokyo Fire Department. The recruiting system is classified into expert and Grade 1, 2, and 3 and all grades are appointed as a fire fighter. According to the competence requirement system, while in office, fire officials who have a certain qualification defined in the recruiting system can change their recruiting classification according to their ability such as Grade $3{\rightarrow}$Grade 2 or 1 or expert, Grade $2{\rightarrow}1$ or expert, or Grade $1{\rightarrow}$expert. The promotion system requires working hard, capability suitable to their grade, and careful verification. Also, a variety of on-site training and qualification systems are provided to reinforce professionalism of staffs and executives.

To improve the educational system of Korea Maritime Police Agency(KMPA), the authors investigate and evaluate the present course and curricula in details comparing with the systems of US Coast Guard and Japanese Coast Guard As a result, it is suggested that KMPA try to recruit good-quality officers through the diverse route, develop the future-oriented educational, system, adjust the course and curricula to meet KMPA's role and mission for 21st century. Besides, it requires that KMPA establishes its own institute to carry out the recruit training and re-freshening courses for both the officers and enlisted person.
