Public Information Quality, Customer Value and their Effects on Satisfaction of SMEs (공공정보의 품질, 고객가치 및 만족도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the factors which affect the customer value and satisfaction of public information services used by the researchers in SMEs(small-and-medium size enterprises). The results, based on statistical analyses of a survey conducted in Korea are as follows; 1) the customer value is positively influenced by the service quality; 2) the customer value, in turn, is positively associated with the customer satisfaction; 3) information needs moderate the relationship between service quality and customer value but does not moderate the relationship between the customer value and satisfaction.Our findings propose the importance of the service quality and the effort to maximize the information customer values.

The Impact of Big Data Analytics Capabilities and Values on Business Performance (빅데이터 분석능력과 가치가 비즈니스 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated the relationships between the analytics capability and value of big data and business performance for big data analysts of business organizations. The values that big data can bring were categorized into transactional value, strategic value, transformational value, and informational value, and we attempted to verify whether these values lead to business performance. Two hundred samples from employees with experience in big data analysis were collected and analyzed. The hypotheses were tested with a structural equation model, and the capability of big data analytics was found to have a significant effect on the value and business performance of big data. Among the big data values, transactional value, strategic value, and transformational value had a positive effect on business performance, but the impact of informational value has not been proven. The results of this study are expected to provide useful information to business organizations seeking to achieve business performance using big data.

Estimation of VMS Traffic Information Value Using Contingent Valuation Method (조건부 가치측정법을 활용한 VMS 교통정보 가치 추정)

  • In this study, value of VMS (Variable Message Sign) traffic information is estimated by using CVM (Contingent Valuation Method), which is developed to quantify the value of non-marketable goods in environmental economics. CVM is used to estimate the value of goods provided by a project under consideration and then the project feasibility can be indirectly examined on the basis of the estimated value. This study focuses on estimating to estimate value of traffic information provided through VMS, a part of the transportation system enhancement project by Korea Expressway Corporation which is aimed at mitigating traffic problems on expressways. In particular, this study analyzes value of information separately by trip purpose, information type, and traffic flow condition. A state preference survey was designed to estimate the value of non-marketable traffic information. To maximize reliability of the survey results, a pilot survey was taken before the main survey. The open-ended question method was adopted in capturing users' willingness-to-pay. Both Tobit and binary Probit models were applied in estimating the value of VMS traffic information and their parameters were estimated using the maximum likelihood estimation. The estimation results suggests that the value of traffic information perceived by users is 518.28 KRW.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop technology valuation system for technology transfer, which is using and supporting knowledge information. The valuation system comprises estimation of latent business profit by supporting formatted patent and technology-products market information, analysis of contribution profit by using industrial standard and innovation step and value of technology by using a real option equation. This study suggests a successful system in order to valuate the technologies quantitatively, and to use and support knowledge information from KISTI databases or other selected internet Information.

  • This paper analyzes the role of technology valuation in licensing, a commonly used type of transaction of technology, and reviews methods to analyze information on technology valuation for technology licensing. It contemplates the concepts, types and practical application of cost-based valuation, market-based valuation, discounted cash flow, and economic analysis. It shows that each method considers how to share profits associated with technology between licensor and licensee in a fair and reasonable manner when we apply any method to technology licensing.

  • 최근 들어, 기업의 내재 가치를 평가하여 투자에 활용하는 이른바 가치투자에 대한 많은 분석과 전략들이 나오고 있다. 그러나 현존하는 대부분의 투자 지원 툴들은, 단기적으로 등락을 반복하는 주가에 매매 조건을 제시하여 차액을 얻는 방식인 기술적 분석 툴로서 기업의 내재 가치를 평가하여 투자를 지원하기 에는 제한이 있다. 때문에 가치 투자자들은 기업의 가치를 체계적이고 객관적으로 판단하기 보다는, 몇몇의 공시된 자료들을 보고 개인의 판단에 따라 평가하는 경우가 대부분이다. 따라서 감정과 선입견을 배제한 기존의 기술적 분석 툴과 같이 기업의 가치를 정량적으로 추정하여 다양한 전략개발을 할 수 있는 툴이 필요한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 기업의 가치를 정량화하여 가치투자 전략을 개발할 수 있는 가치투자 시스템(이하 KPU-VISS)의 설계 및 구현 내용을 기술한다. 즉, 본 시스템은 주식가격을 포함한 기업의 다양한 정보와 경기 지표 등을 이용하여 기업의 가치 모델 개발을 지원하고, 이 모델에 근거하여 저평가된 종목을 검색하는 전략 개발을 지원한다. 또한, 개발된 전략을 과거의 특정 시점에 반영시킨 투자 시뮬레이션을 통하여, 전략의 실효성을 검증하는 기능도 지원한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 가치투자 지원시스템은 최초로 가치투자전략의 개발과 검증을 지원하는 시스템으로, 향후 가치투자 시스템 개발을 위한 선도적인 방향을 제시할 것으로 예상한다.

  • 정보도 자산이라는 인식은 어느정도 자리를 잡아가고 있는 듯하다. 그러나 어떤 정보가 얼만큼의 가치가 있고 그것이 기업에 있어 수치적으로 계산될 수 있는 가하는 문제는 아직 의견이 분분하다. 분명한 것은 기업에 있어 정보는 분명 자산으로서의 가치를 가지고 있다는 것인데, 일부의 경우 대차대조표상에 기재가 필요하다는 주장을 펼치기도 한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze variables affecting parents' and elementary school students' value of computer science after creative computer science education, through multiple regression. Many researches on Informatics subject have focused on the effect of the subject contents on students but hardly dealt with parents' recognition. Thereupon, this study pays attention to the value of computer science recognized by parents and analyzes variables substantially affecting value variables of computer science related to parents' support for learning Informatics subjects. This paper did not verify the difference in recognition of parents and students but calculated more concrete influence by conducing multiple regression on the variables affecting the value recognized by each group. This is one of the reasons why this study is meaningful. According to the result of the analysis, variables affecting the value of parents on computer science the most are interest and satisfaction, and in students' case, self-efficacy is the variable affecting the value of computer science the most.

  • 본 연구는 전자정보원의 도입으로 도서관 장서의 구성이 다양화되고, 도서관 장서에 대한 이용자 중심의 가치평가에 대한 필요성이 증대되고 있는 도서관 환경을 배경으로 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 도서관의 장서의 가치와 경제성 평가 사례를 분석하여 이를 토대로 도서관 장서에 대한 이용자 중심의 가치 평가 모형의 기초자료를 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 국내외의 문헌 연구를 통해 도서관 장서의 평가가 어떠한 방향으로 변화하고 있는지 동향 파악과 국내외에서 이루어진 도서관 장서의 가치연구사례를 분석하였다.
