Transient Stability Analysis of Vessel Power System Using Alternative Marine Power (육상전원공급장치(AMP) 이용한 선내 전원 공급 시 계통 안정도 분석)

  • Alternative marine power (AMP) is continuously used in ports and on docks because of regulations on global ship emission reduction. In Korea, the use of AMP is also mandatory under the Special Act on Port Air Quality Improvement, and efforts are under way in connection with various eco-friendly ships, such as electric-propulsion ships. In this study, AC load flow analysis was performed by modeling the situation in which onboard power is supplied through AMP. This analysis made it possible to study the electrical parameters and losses when power was supplied to the ship. In addition, through a transient stability analysis, the high-speed generation transfer limit value for uninterruptible conversion through onboard generators in the event of a system accident was derived. Study on Fire Hazard Analysis along with Heater Use in the Public Use Facility Traditional Market in Winter (겨울철 다중이용시설인 전통재래시장 난방기구 사용에 따른 화재 위험성 분석에 관한 연구)

  • Fire caused by heater has various causes as many as the types of heater. also, lots of damage of human life and property loss are caused, since annually continuous fire accident by heater in traditional market is frequently occurring. There are not many cases of fire due to heater in most of residential facilities such as general house, apartments, etc., because they are supplied with heating boiler, however the restaurant, store and office of the market, sports center, factory, workplace, etc. still use heater, e.g. oilstove, electric heater, etc., so that they are exposed to fire hazard. Also, when investigating the number of fire due to heater, it was analyzed to occur in order of home boiler, charcoal stove, oilstove, gas heater/stove, electric stove/heater, the number of fire per human life damage was analyzed in order of gas heater/stove, oil heater/stove, electric heater/stove, briquette/coal heater. Also, gas and oil related heater were analyzed to have low frequency, however, with high fire intensity. Therefore, this research aimed at considering more scientific fire inspection and identification approach by reenacting and reviewing fire outbreak possibility caused by combustibles' contact and conductivity under the normal condition and abnormal condition in respect of ignition hazard, i.e. minimum ignition temperature, carbonization degree and heat flux along with it, due to oilstove and electric stove, which are still frequently used in public use facility, traditional market, and, of which actual fire occurrence is the most frequent. As the result of reenact test, ignition hazard appeared very small, as long as enough heat storage condition is not made in both test objects(oilstove/electric stove), however carbonization condition was analyzed to be proceeded per each part respectively. Eventually, transition to fire is the ignition due to heat storage, so that it was analyzed to ignite when minimum heat storage temperature condition of fire place is over $500^{\circ}C$. Particularly, in case of quartz pipe, the heating element of electric stove, it is rapidly heated over the temperature of $600^{\circ}C$ within the shortest time(10sec), so that the heat flux of this appears 6.26kW/m2, which was analyzed to result in damage of thermal PVC cable and second-degree burn in human body. Also, the researcher recognized that the temperature change along with Geometric View Factor and Fire Load, which display decrease of heat, are also important variables to be considered, along with distance change besides temperature condition. Therefore, the researcher considers that a manual of careful fire inspection and identification on this is necessary, also, expects that scientific and rational efforts of this research can contribute to establish manual composition and theoretical basis on henceforth fire inspection and identification.

  • A typical day in the subway transportation is used by hundreds of thousands are also concerned about the safety of the various workrooms with high underground fire or other less than in the subway users could be damaging even to be raised and there. In 2010, in fact, room air through vents in the fire because smoke and toxic gas accident victims, and train service suspended until such cases are often reported. In response to these incidents in subway stations, even if the latest IT technology, wireless sensor network technology and intelligent video surveillance technology by integrating fire and structural integrity, such as a comprehensive integrated surveillance system to monitor the development of intelligent urban transit system and are under study. In this study, prior to the application of the monitoring system into the field stations, authors carried out the ZigBee-based wireless sensor networks performance analyzation in the Chungmuro station. The test results at a communications room and ventilation room of the station are summarized and analyzed.

퇴적 마그네슘의 승온속도와 열분해특성

  • 마그네슘은 스마트폰, 전자기기 케이스, 내화벽돌과 아크용접봉 제조시의 첨가물 등으로 사용되고 있는데, 최근에는 재활용을 위한 마그네슘 용해로를 취급하거나 가공하는 사업장이 증가하고 있어 사고위험성이 높아지고 있다. 금속분을 취급하는 사업장에서의 금속분진은 저장이나 축적 등과 같이 주로 퇴적물로서 존재한다. 퇴적분진의 발화온도는 퇴적물 형상과 두께, 입경, 분위기 가스의 유속, 산소농도, 부유분진의 농도, 퇴적밀도, 수분 등의 많은 영향인자가 관여하기 때문에 이론적 예측이 힘들고 실험적인 측정에 의존할 수 밖에 없는 것이 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 연소성이 높고 화재폭발사고사례가 많은 마그네슘(Mg) 분진을 사용하여 승온속도 변화에 따른 열분해특성을 조사하였다. 퇴적분진의 열적특성을 조사하기 위하여 METTLER TOLEDO의 TGA/DSC1를 사용하였으며, Mg 시료의 평균입경은 38, $142{\mu}m$이다. 입경 $38{\mu}m$의 Mg 시료의 열중량분석 결과, 중량증가는 $400{\sim}500^{\circ}C$의 범위에서 시작되며 $550^{\circ}C$에서 급격하게 중량이 증가하고 있으며, 증량증가개시온도(Temperature of weight gain)는 $460^{\circ}C$에서 시작하여 $900{\sim}950^{\circ}C$ 범위에서 중량 증가 포화값에 도달하였다. 입경 $142{\mu}m$의 Mg에 대하여 공기중 승온속도를 5, 10, $20^{\circ}C/min$으로 변화시키면서 실온에서 $900^{\circ}C$까지 가열 시키는 경우의 시료의 중량 변화에 따른 열분해 특성은 승온속도가 증가할수록 2단계의 S자 곡선은 완만하게 상승을 나타내며 중량증가개시온도가 높아지는 경향을 보이고 있다. 중량증가개시온도가 승온속도에 따라 변화하는 결과를 나타내고는 있지만, 시료량의 증가에 따른 영향을 열중량분석 실험방법의 제약으로 인하여 확인할 수 가 없었다. 그러나 만일 시료량이 크게 증가하는 경우에는 동일한 승온조건에서 중량증가 개시온도는 낮아질 가능성이 있다. 중량증가는 시료의 산화반응에 의한 것이므로 시료량의 증가는 시료 내부에의 열의 축적을 용이하게 하여 보다 낮은 온도에서도 산화반응이 충분히 일어나는 조건이 형성되기 때문이다. 승온속도가 증가할수록 산화 반응한 괴상형태의 연소입자가 크게 증가하고 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 승온속도에 따른 중량개시온도 곡선을 보면 [그림 24]와 같으며 승온속도 5, 10, $20^{\circ}C/min$의 증가에 따라 중량개시온도는 각각 490, 510, $530^{\circ}C$가 얻어졌으며 승온속도의 증가에 따라 중량개시온도가 증가하는 경향을 보이고 있다.

Performance Evaluation of a Portable GC for Real-time Monitoring of Volatile Organic Compounds (휘발성 유기화합물의 실시간 모니터링을 위한 휴대형 GC의 성능 평가)

  • Performance of a portable GC that can be utilized for the real time determination of volatile organic compounds in air was evaluated. It employs purified/compressed ambient air as the carrier gas eliminating the need for high pressure gas tanks. The compact system with dimensions of 35 × 26 × 15 ㎤ and weight of 5 kg is powered by either a 24 V DC external adapter or battery pack. Chromatograms of the mixture sample including benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and oxylene at concentrations of 1 ppmv and 20 ppmv represent a good reproducibility: 3.79% and 0.48% relative standard deviations (RSDs) for peak area variations; 0.40% and 0.08% RSDs for retention times. The method detection limit was 0.09 ppmv. A 30 m long, 0.28 mm I.D. column operated at an optimal condition yielded a peak capacity of 61 with good resolution for a 10 min isothermal analysis. The relative standard deviations (RSD) of the peak area variations and retention times during consecutive measurements over 27 h were less than 2.4%RSD and 0.5%RSD, respectively. Thus, this instrument makes it suitable for continuous and field analysis of low-concentration VOC mixtures in the indoor/outdoor environment as well as the spillage accident of hazardous chemicals.

  • 반도체 소자의 제조에 있어 실리콘 표면에 성장한 자연산화막을 제거하기 위해 일반적으로 습식 세정 기술이 이용되어 왔다. 하지만 소자의 최소 선폭(design rule)이 nano급으로 고집적화 됨에 따라 contact hole 바닥의 자연산화막을 깨끗이 제거하는데 있어서 그 한계를 나타나고 있다. 이에 대한 효과적인 대안 공정으로 가스 건식 세정 기술이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한 번에 50매 이상의 웨이퍼를 처리함으로써 생산성 측면에서 월등한 배치식 설비에서 원거리 플라즈마(remote plasma) 장치에서 2.450Hz의 마이크로웨이브(${\mu}$-wave)에 의해 형성시킨 수소라디칼과 $NF_3$ 가스를 이용하여 실리콘에 결함을 주지 않고 자연산화막을 선택적으로 제거하는 공정에 대해 고찰하였다. AFM을 이용한 표면분석, TEM을 이용한 물성분석, 그리고 ToF-SIMS 및 XPS를 이용한 화학 분석을 습식 및 건식 세정을 비교 평가한 결과, 건식 세정 공정이 실리콘 표면에 결함을 주지 않고 자연산화막을 제거 할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 산화막$(SiO_2)$, 질화막$(Si_3N_4)$, 그리고 다결정 실리콘(Poly-Si) 등의 각 막질별 식각 특성을 고찰하였으며, $NH_3$의 캐리어 가스인 $N_2$의 주입량을 조절함으로써 수소라디칼 형성 효율의 개선이 가능하였으며, 이로부터 게이트와 소스/드레인 사이를 절연하기 위해 이용되는 질화막의 식각 선택비를 2배 정도 개선할 수 있었다. nano급 소자에 실장하여 평가한 결과에서 불산(HF)에 의한 습식 세정 방식에 비하여 약 $20{\sim}50%$ 정도의 contact 저항 감소 효과가 있음이 확인되었다.두 소자 모두 $40mA/cm^2$ 에서 이상적인 화이트 발란스와 같은(0.33,0.33)의 색좌표를 보였다.epsilon}_0=1345$의 빼어난 압전 및 유전특성과 $330^{\circ}C$의 높은 $T_c$를 보였고 그 조성의 vibration velocity는 약4.5 m/s로 나타났다.한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 고 자장 영상에서의 rf field 에 의한 SAR 증가는 중요한 제한 요소로 부각되고 있다. 나선주사영상은 SAR 문제가 근원적으로 발생하지 않고, EPI에 비하여 하드웨어 요구 조건이 낮아 고 자장에서의 고속영상방법으로 적합하다. 본 논문에서는 고차 shimming 을 통하여 불균일도를 개선하고, single shot 과 interleaving 을 적용한 multi-shot 나선주사영상 기법으로 $100{\times}100$에서 $256{\times}256$의 고해상도 영상을 얻어 고 자장에서 초고속영상기법으로 다양한 적용 가능성을 보였다. 연구에서 연구된 $[^{18}F]F_2$가스는 친핵성 치환반응으로 방사성동위원소를 도입하기 어려운 다양한 방사성의 약품개발에 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것이다.었으나 움직임 보정 후 영상을 이용하여 비교한 경우, 결합능 변화가 선조체 영역에서 국한되어 나타나며 그 유의성이 움직임 보정 전에 비하여 낮음을 알 수 있었다. 결론: 뇌활성화 과제 수행시에 동반되는 피험자의 머리 움직임에 의하여 도파민 유리가 과대평가되었으며 이는 이 연구에서 제안한 영상정합을 이용한 움직임 보정기법에 의해서 개선되었다. 답이 없는 문제, 문제 만들기, 일반화가 가능한 문제 등으로 보고, 수학적 창의성 중 특히 확산적 사고에 초점을 맞추어 개방형 문제가 확

  • The life expectation of power transformers is basically dependent on the aging deterioration of insulating paper which can not be obtained from operating transformers. Therefore, it will be very useful if we can manage transformers by indirect analysis of degradation products. "Furan derivatives" are known the decomposition products which are generated by the degradation of cellulose in insulating paper. We proved that 2-furfural is the only measurable product from our transformers, and determined easily the concentration of 2-furfural by HPLC without any specific pretreatments, Compared to concentration of $CO_2$ and CO by GC, the concentration of 2-furfural by HPLC can estimate more accurately aging characteristics of transformers. We expect that these results can be utilized to predict the aging characteristics and life diagnosis of power transformers.

Instrumental Analysis of Deposits on Paper Machine and Holes/Spots in Paper (제지공정 침착이물질 및 종이내 불순물 성분의 기기분석)

  • The constituents of deposits on paper machine and holes/spots in paper have been analyzed by a combination of analytical techniques, such as FTIR, Py-GC-MS, and EDS. FTIR spectroscopy was used prior to Py-GC-MS and EDS analysis, as a preliminary analysis. The analysis of organic components was carried out with a pyrolysis unit connected to a GC-MS, and inorganic components in ash were analyzed by SEM equipped with an EDS analyzer after pyrolysis at $590^{\circ}C$. The deposits on the dryer section were complex pitch, which was the mixture of the organic components of fatty acid ester and starch, and the inorganic components of talc, clay, and calcium carbonate. The complex pitch was estimated to come from the coated broke. We knew the deposits on the metering rod of sym-sizer were associated with the interaction of unstable alkyl keten dimer(AKD) and $CaCO_3$. The compositions of holes or spots varied considerably and were associated with chemical interaction within the system. The holes, spots, and blotches in the finished paper were PE and PP from pulp sources, complex pitch that were caused by the interaction of the different additives in the system, polymer such as flexible PVC that was used for the prop of palette, and hot melt as adhesives that came from the inadequate handling of broke. In addition, we identified that poly(caprolactam) which is used for forming fabrics or press felts, could be mixed with the raw materials by accident and results in streaks on coating.

  • Recently, the demand for LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas) increases in our country and all over the world as well as building order for LNGC Because LNG is very dangerous cargo, the special know-how and attention for cargo handling to prevent an accident is required and big demand for deck officers in future is expected Thus, more specific and systematic education and training program by means of investigating the status of national LNGC officer's education and training. To accomplish this, IMO regulation and LNGC education program for Korea Institute of Maritime and Fisheries Technology, national shipping companies and Japanese T company were analyzed.

  • Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADAs) is real-time monitor and control systems. SCADA systems are used to monitor or control chemical and transportation processes, in municipal water supply systems, electric power generation, transmission and distribution, gas and oil pipelines, and other distributed processes. SCADA refers to a large-scale distributed system. The supervisory control system is placed on top of a real time control system to control external processes. Emerging security technologies and security devices are decreasing the vulnerability of the power system against cyber threats. Dealing with these threats and analyzing vulnerabilities is an important task for equipment such as RTU, IED and FEP. To reduce such risks, we develop such a SCADA testbed. This paper presents the development of a testbed designed to assess the vulnerabilities SCADA networks(including serial communication).
