Intelligent AGV Machine-Learning System based on Self-Driving Simulator for Smart Factory (스마트 팩토리를 위한 자율주행 시뮬레이터 기반 지능형 AGV 머신러닝 시스템)

  • 본 논문은 스마트 팩토리의 중요 요소인 무인반송차(AGV)를 자율 주행시키기 위해 오픈 소스 자율 주행차 시뮬레이터인 udacity를 이용해 머신 러닝시키는 시스템을 개발하였다. 공장의 운행 루트를 자율주행 시뮬레이터의 전경으로 가공하고, 3개의 카메라를 부착시킨 AGV를 운행시키면서 머신 러닝시킨다. AGV를 주행하여 얻어진 여러 학습 데이터를 통해 도출된 결과들을 각각 비교하여 우수한 모델을 선정하고 운행시킨 결과 AGV가 정해진 운행 루트를 정확하게 주행하는 것을 확인하였다. 이를 통해, 가상 운행 환경에서 저비용으로 AGV 운행 학습이 가능하다는 것을 보였다.

  • This paper suggests a new object-oriented methodology, ESBD(Evolutionary Simulation Based Design), for the development of an automated manufacturing system in shipbuilding. The target system, AHMS(Automated Hull-piece Manufacturing System), is a virtualized and distributed system controlling the manufacturing processes of storing, surface-pretreatment, cutting, 1st and 2nd curvature generation of material plates. The control and product-flow simulation is applied for the real-time product monitoring and product data management(PDM). The prototype system of AHMS also outlines the layout of the new automated factory.

  • Customized information analysis system is a software system that can help to extract useful information from non-structured natural language data, process the information to customized form, and provide future forecast and reasoning information. To implement the information analysis system, we need natural language processing technology to analyze natural language, information extraction technology to detect necessary entity and its relationship from text, and data mining technology to discover new and unknown information from extracting data. This paper suggest virtual customized information analysis system processing national defense news data and introduce base technologies for information analysis.

  • Recently, with the rapid development of virtual reality technology, there have been more and more applications of virtual reality technology in various fields. In order to realize a virtual reality, a method of implementing a visualization environment through an HMD (Head Mounted Display) is widely used. However, in the current visualization environment through the HMD, the user feels dizziness when worn, It has the disadvantage of imposing restrictions on. In this study, it is aimed to realize virtual reality visualization environment through multi-screen environment which improves the experience effect of virtual environment by using existing screen instead of visualization through HMD, and compensates for shortcomings of HMD method. In order to realize a multi-screen environment as a highly visualized environment, a technique for matching the spatial position of the multi-screen with the spatial position of the virtual environment is required. To do this, we need an efficient method to precisely measure the position of the space, and we propose a spatial position compensation methodology that can efficiently and precisely measure the position of the real space and reflect it in the virtual environment.

  • In smart factories, the entire manufacturing process from design to the final product is simulated in a virtual manufacturing environment and optimized before starting production. Suppliers and customers make decisions based on the simulation results. Therefore, effective rendering of the information of the virtual products to suppliers and customers is essential for this manufacturing paradigm. In this study, a method of rendering the surface roughness of the virtual products using a tactile display is presented. A tactile display device comprising a $3{\times}3$ array of individually controlled piezoelectric stack actuators is constructed. The surface topology of the virtual products is rendered directly by controlling the piezoelectric stack actuators. A series of experiments is performed to evaluate the performance of the tactile display device. An electrical discharge machined surface is rendered using the proposed method.

  • Until now the study of computer forensics has been focused only system forensics which carried on keeping, processing and collecting the remained evidence on computer. Recently the trend of forensic study is proceeding about the network forensics which analyze the collected information in entire networks instead of analyzing the evidence on a victim computer. In particular network forensics is more important in Automated Computer Emergency Response System because the system deals with the intrusion evidence of entire networks. In this paper we defined the information of network forensics that have to be collected in Automated Computer Emergency Response System and verified the defined information by comparing with the collected information in experimental environments.

  • This paper presents a process and operation planning system with an NC code post-processor for effective machining of press dies for production of cars. Based on the machining features, major parts of press dies are categorized into 15 groups and a standard process plan is defined for each group. The standard process plan consists of a series of processes where a process is defined as a group of operations that can be done with one setup. Details such as cutting tools, cutting conditions, and tool paths are decided at the operation planning stage. At the final stage of process and operation planning, the NC code post-processor we developed adjusts feedrates along the tool path to reduce machining time. The adjustment rule is selected based on the metal removal rate estimated by virtually machining with virtual cutting tool.

  • Context aware computing is an emerging paradigm to achieve ubiquitous computing environments by enabling computer systems to understand their situational contexts. A context aware system uses context to provide relevant information and services to the user depending on the user's task. In this paper, we propose an ontology based context aware modeling methodology that transmits low level contexts acquired by directly accessing various sensors in the physical environments to high level contexts. With these high level contexts, context aware application can provides proactive and intelligent services using ECA (Event Condition Action) rules. We implemented a presentation service in smart office environment.

NC Code Post-Processor Considering Metal Removal Rate (절삭부하 예측을 통한 NC코드 후처리시스템)

  • This paper presents an NC code post-processor that adjusts feedrates to keep the variation of metal removal rate along the tool paths minimum. Metal removal rate is estimated by virtually machining the part, whose surface model is built from a series of NC codes defined in operation plan, with cutting-tool-assembly models, whose geometry are defined in a machining database. The NC code post-processor modifies the feedrates by the adjustment rules, which are based on the machining knowledge for effective machining. This paper illustrates a procedure fur grouping machining conditions and we also show how to determine an adjustment rule for a machining-condition group. An example part was machined and it shows that the variation of cutting force was dramatically reduced after applying the NC code post-processor. The NC code post-processor is expected to increase productivity while maintaining the quality of the machined part.

  • Nobody deny that Machine Tool has leaded to the development of mechanical technology as it is known for long time. According to this, it has always been changed newly by appling advanced technology. This paper introduces the evolution history of machine tools and describes how the ICT is applied to develop a new type of machine tool. For that, it has been shown what kind of elementary technologies are required. The future vision has also been concluded in this paper.
