가변구조제어기와 인공 신경회로망에 의한 BLDC모터의 디지털 전류제어 (Digital current control for BLDC motor using variable structure controller and artificial neural network)

  • It is well known that Variable Structure Controller(VSC) is robust to parameters variation and disturbance but its performance depends on the design parameters such as switching gain and slope of sliding surface. This paper proposes a more robust VSC that is composed of local VSC's. Each local VSC considers the local system dynamics with narrow parameter variation and disturbance. First we optimize the local VSC's by use of Evolution Strategy, and next we use Artificial Neural Network to generalize the local VSC's and construct the overall VSC in order to cover the whole range of parameter variation and disturbance. Simulation on BLDC motor current control shows that the proposed VSC is superior to the conventional VSC.

  • The analysis and control algorithm of a new type unsymmetrical self-bearing step motor is presented. The motor actuator is used for both motor and bearing functionality without any redundant coil windings or redudant electromagnets for bearing functionality. Self bearing step motor layout and control current generation method for unsymmetrical position of electromagnets are described. This new current generation method without additional current for bearing functionality leads to minimize the power loss. As the result of the unbalance response approach, the constant torque is possible, even though the bearing functionality is added or not.

하이브리드 승용차용 전자식 무단변속기의 개발 (Development of Electronically Controlled CVT for Hybrid Passenger Car)

  • In this paper, the details of electronically controlled CVT is described , which Kia Motor company recently developed in prototype form for hybrid passenger car. This transmission has two input shafts, one for engine and the other for traction motor. The shaft for traction motor is located at rear side which is extended from primary pulley shaft and connected to traction motor through adapter gear box. Adopting two input system, various driving mode is available such as motor alone driving in hybrid vehicle application. As far as electrohydraulic system concerned , this transmission uses two bleed type variable force solenoids for line pressure and ratio control, and one on-off solenoid for clutch control. Another feature for this transmission is that oil pump for transmission is separate from CVT for supplying oil pressure even at vehicle standstill.

  • Variable Structure System(VSS) la being extended to a new control system of ac servo machines for its merits of simple mechanism and robustness. This paper has studied about applying VSS to position control for brushless servo motor. But VSS has the chattering problem of control input. This chattering phenomenon cause acoustic noises, torque ripple and increase harmonics of the current. One of the useful way to eliminate this defect of VSS, linearlizing the switching function is discussed here. Though the conventional method of linearizing the switching function diminishes the chattering, it may degrade the robustness of the system. In this paper, new linearized switching function which shows robust performance to the parametric variation and reduces chattering simultaneously is introduced and assured by simulation.

  • In the VSS control, the trajectories with a conventional sliding surface have a reaching phase which is an interval from the initial state to the first touching of the sliding surface. Since the sliding mode control can not be realized in a reaching phase, the trajectories may be sensitive to the disturbances and parameter variations. A simple nonlinear sliding surface is proposed to improve the robustness in a reaching phase. The position control of a PM DC servo motor using a new sliding surface is carried out and is compared to the one using the conventional surface. The sliding mode occurs in entire trajectories with the proposed new sliding surface and the improved robustness is obtained.

  • A variable structure controller is developed for an AC servo motor used in CNC milling machines. The designed controller is implemented as an outer loop controller to a factory designed motor-servopack system. The robustness parameter is tuned for a fast response when the speed tracking error is large, while it is tuned for small oscillations when the speed tracking error is small. The designed controller is installed on a CNC machine using a PC. Cutting experiments show improved performance over the factory-designed controller.

  • This paper provides a technical review of speed control using variable gain PI algorithm for BLDC(Brushless DC) motor. Usually the PI control is used in many motor applications, but a general PI control has problems of overshooting and disturbance for response. By the change of PI gain in motor control operation, these problems can be solved. To find the optimized PI gains for BLDC motor control, many control methods have been proposed. In this paper, the control algorithm with a variable PI gain is applied to improve overshooting response in transient region and rapid load disturbance rejection. Fixed gain and variable gain PI controls are compared. The validity of the propose method is verified by experiment.

  • 일반적으로유압 장치를 사용하여 힘, 속도, 그리고 위치 등을 제어하는 경우 그 제어계의 설계, 제어방식의 선택에있어서는 최종 목표치의 정도, 응답성 등의 제어 성능을 고려함과 동시에 공업적으로는 가격, 동력효율 등이 중요한 설계인자로서 고려 되어 져야한다. 제어 방식응 벨브 제어와 펌프 제어 방식으로 크게 나뉘어 질 수 있으나, 벨브 제어방식에 있어서는 유압 서보벨브를 사용하여 출력 기구를 고정도로 직접 구도하는 것이 많으나 동력손실이 큰 편이며, 효율을 개선하기 위하여 압력 보상형 비례 전자 제어 벨브를 이용하는 것도 있으나, 소출력용으로서만 이용가능할 뿐이다. 이에 비하여 가변 용량형 펌프를 이용한 제어방식은 정도, 응답성은 다소 뒤떨어 지지만 효율이 양호하고 대출력 기구에 적용 가능하다는 점에서최근 주목의 대상으로되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 에너지의 효율적인사용이 가능한 전기. 유압 펌프 시스템을 설계하기위하여 먼저 각 신호전달 요소에 대한 동특성 및 정특성 실험을 행하여 시스템의 근사적인 모델링을 행하고 사판의 경사각을 제어함으로써 유압모터의 속도를 제어하는 시스템을 설계하여그 성능을 고찰하고자 한다.

  • The Variable Structure System(VSS) will be of much intrest to educators and design engineers who wish to demonstrate and investigate sophisticated position control methods and their applications. This paper describes DC motor position control by means of VSS concept. The control scheme is derived, implemented and tested in the laboratory where IBM AT computer has been used as a digital controller to control a representative servo system. The control system schematic is given and sample results are shown for illustration. This experiment may serve as a basis for further application of VSS.
