가변 감쇠극을 갖는 새로운 구조의 유전체 공진기 대역통과 여파기 의 설계 (A Novel Dielectric Resonator Bandpass Filter with Variable Attenuation Poles for Duplexer Applications)

  • In this paper a novel dielectric resonator (DR) bandpass filter (BPF) with flexible arrangement of attenuation poles is proposed. This DR filter is similar to a conventional DR filter except adding a microstrip line below a DR, which not only shifts the location of attenuation poles, but also improves skirt characteristics. The duplexer with the proposed DR BPF has been yielded better isolation and sharper skirt behavior than that with a conventional DR alter. The implemented duplexer has shown a good performance and been well agreed with the simulation.

평행 평판 정전형 구동기를 이용한 가변 광 감쇠기 (Variable Optical Attenuator using Parallel Plate Electrostatic Actuator)

  • The micromachined variable optical attenuator(VOA) was presented in the paper. The VOA has two single mode fiber(SMF) aligned with free space and symmetric parallel plate actuator with microshutter, which can control a amount of light by driving the actuator. In the paper, analysis on driving performances of the VOA was performed and can be reduced threshold voltage through the decreasing displacement actuating range. This paper presents a VOA that is fabricated using bosch deep silicon etching process with silicon on insulator(SOD wafer. The VOA consists of driving electrode, ground electrode, actuating microshutter, and mechanical stopper. In this VOA, actuating shutter is driven by electrostatic force and the threshold voltage is close to 28V, 46V come along with the spring width of 5${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, 7${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ respectively. Attenuation range is measured from 2.4㏈ to 16.7㏈.

  • Generally, A Dynamic Absorber by using Active viscous Damping is highlighted for effective suspension system, such as improved ride comfort and handling in the market. Lately, this system based on the Sky-Hook damper theory is introduced by the name of "Active Dynamic Absorber" to us. This system has an excellent performance in contrast to Passive. Adaptive Dynamic Absorber, besides having low cost components of system, low energy consumption. light weight of system. In this viewpoint. most of car-maker will adopt this system in the near future. For this reason, we developed Dynamic Absorber by using Active viscous Damping which is equipped with continuously variable Dynamic Absorber and Control logic consisting Filter and Estimator. control apparatus of Dynamic Absorber operated by 16-bit microprocessor of high performance. variable device of viscous Damping. G-sensor so on.   • A semi-active suspension is an automotive technology that controls the vertical movement of the vehicle while the car is driving. The system therefore virtually eliminates body roll and pitch variation in many driving situations including cornering, accelerating, and braking. This technology allows car manufacturers to achieve a higher degree of both ride quality and car handling by keeping the tires perpendicular to the road in corners, allowing for much higher levels of grip and control. An onboard computer detects body movement from sensors located throughout the vehicle and, using data calculated by opportune control techniques, controls the action of the suspension. Semi-active systems can change the viscous damping coefficient of the shock absorber, and do not add energy to the suspension system. Though limited in their intervention (for example, the control force can never have different direction than that of the current speed of the suspension), semi-active suspensions are less expensive to design and consume far less energy. In recent time, the research in semi-active suspensions has continued to advance with respect to their capabilities, narrowing the gap between semi-active and fully active suspension systems. In this paper we are studied the characteristics of vehicle movement during the field test with conventional and semi-active suspension system.

  • This paper describes the development of a new type of an integrated optical adjustable attenuator using magneto-optic effects in 4-layer slab waveguide. The characteristics of the proposed structure are analyzed and evaluated. Furthermore, the fabrication method and attenuation characteristics have been tested by experimets, therby confirming qualitatively the validity of the design theory.

승용차용 반능동 현가시스템의 제어 (Control of Semi-active Suspensions for Passenger Cars(II))

  • A semi-active suspension test system was designed and built for the experimental study. Vehicle parameters were estimated through tests and a quarter-car model was validated by comparing computer simulation results and laboratory test results. Alternative semi-active suspension control laws have been tested using the test system. Modulable damper used in this study is a "reverse" damper with 42 states which is controlled by a stepper motor. Experimental results have shown that semi-active suspensions have potential to improve ride quality of automobiles.tomobiles.

  • Analyzing internal structure, flow rate and dynamic behavior characteristics of electronically controlled shock absorber, damping performance limit is identified to comprise the two reciprocal characteristics of ride comfort and handling safety. Regardless of its lower performance than the active suspension control system, the semi-active suspension control system has been taking interest because of its absolutely higher performance than passive suspension system. Since the pervious studies have been concentrated mostly on analytic aspect and survey on the internal structure of the shock absorber remain insufficient, the main discourse of this paper is focused on analyzing the nonlinear shock absorber which varies the damping force of semi-active suspension system and the dynamic characteristics of the solenoid valve, a sort of pressure valve, and proposing the design factors of importance.

  • 본 논문에서는 개방 단락 반사형 IQ 벡터 모듈레이터를 설계 제작하였다. 개방 단락 반사형은 구조의 특수성으로 인해 외부 회로의 첨가 없이 IQ 벡터 모듈레이터를 구현할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 일반적으로 개방 및 단락의 반사구조로써 MESFET을 사용하여 구현되지만 이는 IQ 신호에 의해서 음 전압이 발생되어야 MESFET 를 동작시킬 수 있고, 이 때문에 IQ 신호에 대한 TTL 적용이 되어 동작케하기 위해서는 설계가 복잡해진다 반면 BJT특성의 구조적 변형으로 전자 이동도 특성이 향상된 HBT등의 소자가 등장하고 있고 높은 주파수에서도 문제없이 동작이 가능하도록 되었다. 이에 BJT 구조의 개방 단락 반사형 IQ 벡터 모듈레이터를 제안하고 제작하였으며, BJT 특성으로 인해 TTL 호환이 쉽다는 장점을 얻었다. 또한 AGC 기능을 갖도록 하기 위해 이득제어가 될 때 위상의 변화 없이 구현되도록 독립적으로 동작하는 가변 감쇠기를 적용하였다. 제작 결과 4사분면의 전체적으로 $\pm$ 1$^{\circ}$의 위상차와 $\pm$ 0.6 dB의 진폭 차를 가지고 동작하며, 20 dB 가변범위 전체적으로는 위상에 영향을 주지 않으며 이득을 가변시킬 수 있는 설계의 결과를 이루었다. 또한 온도 변화량에 대해서도 $\pm$ 6$^{\circ}$의 위상변화량과 $\pm$ 0.5 dB의 진폭 변화량만을 갖는 결과를 얻음으로써 온도 변화에 대한 특성도 만족함을 확인하였다.

수신 대력 잡음과 혼변조 왜곡 신호 제거 루프를 갖는 Feedforward 대전력 증폭기 설계 (A Feedforward High Power Amplifier with Loops that can Reduce RX Band Noise as well as Intermodulation Distortion Signals)

  • 본 논문에서, Feedforward 기법을 이용하여 송신 혼변조 왜곡 신호뿐만 아니라 수신 대역 잡음도 감소시킬 수 있는 새로운 전력 증폭기를 제안했다. 대전력 증폭기는 IMT-2000 기지국 송신 주파수 대역에서 구현되었다. 송신 대역 혼변조 왜곡 신호와 수신대역 잡음 신호는 가변 감쇠기와 위상 천이기, 에러 증폭기의 제어에 의해 감소되어진다. 두 개의 루프, 즉 혼변조 왜곡 신호와 수신대역 잡음 신호제거 루프를 포함하고 있는 제안된 전력 증폭기를 사용하면 송신 대역 통과 여파기의 수신 대역 감쇠 특성을 엄격히 하지 않아도 되어 다양한 무선통신 시스템에서 낮은 송신경로 삽입 손실을 가진 듀플렉서를 제공할 수 있다. 전력 증폭기의 2-tone 실험은 5MHz 주파수 간격을 가진 2.14GHz에서 하였고, 수긴 대역 제거 실험은 중심 주파수가 1.95GHz인 60MHz 수신 전체 대역에서 하였다. 실험 결고, 혼변조 왜곡 제거 성능과 수신 잡음 제거 성능이 각각 31 dB와 21dB이상이었다.

가변익 프로펠러를 갖는 추진축계의 비틀림진동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Torsional Vibration of propulsion Shafting System with Controllable Pitch Propeller)

  • Controllable pitch propeller(CPP) is usually adopted for easy and effective engine controls of a ship in a port. Unfortunately the torsional vibration may occur by a certain variation of engine torque and the major resonance peak may exist within the maximum continuous rating(MCR) In these cases an additional stress concentration on the oil passages such as longitudinal slots notches and circular holes of an oil distributor shaft(ODS) occurs by the torsional vibration of the CPP shaft. In this paper an analysis for the fatigue limit of an ODS system of the 5S70MC engine in a crude oil carrier is done by applying FEM and empirical formulas. Furthermore the additional stress on the ODS is investigated by analyzing the torsional vibration of the shaft system and a control method in which a tuning damper is adopted is introduced in the case of the additional stress exceeds the fatigue limit. The validity of analysis method is verified by comparing the results acquired by an actual measurement of the vibratory torque for the above ODS
