  • This paper presents the application of fuzzy algorithm for speed control of Switched Reluctance Motor. SRM has a h highly nonlinear control characteristic and operates in saturation to maximize the motor torque. A systematic approach t to the modeling of highly nonlinear SRM drive system which includes the fuzzy controller with coarse control and fine C control is presented. PelfOlmance analysis of SRM dJive is reported for a wide range of operating conditions through s speed variation and load perturbation dynamics. The pelfOlmance indices of SRM drive system operating with fuzzy 1 logic controller are compared with the conventional controller to highlight the merits. The expel1mental results are p presented to confilm the validity of proposed fuzzy 10밍c controller.

  • This paper presents the simulation modeling and analysis of variable wind speed turbine system(VWTS) using the doubly fed induction generator(DFIG) connected the back to back converter system in the rotor side. In the simulation, using the model system which has the 660[kW] rated power, blade control and the dual converter system are modeled for verifying the control characteristics. The VWTS is controlled by the optimal pitch angle for maximum output power under the rated wind speed, and for the rated output power over the rated wind speed. And also power factor is controlled by the reactive power. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, simulation results are compared with the actual data from the V47 VWTS located in Hangwon wind farm in Jeju-Do. According to the comparison of these results, this method shows excellent performance.

  • This paper proposed a speed adaptive control system with load torque observer and feed-forward compensation using neural network for air compressor system driven an induction motor. The motor receive impact load change under the influence of piston movement of up and down, and so it difficult to obtain good speed control characteristics. With real-time adjusting control gain estimated in neural network, control characteristics of motor is improved. The validity of the proposed system is confirmed through the theoretical analysis and computer simulation.

  • 풍력발전시스템에서 전기설비는 발전기를 위시하여 인버터, 변압기 및 변전시설과 기타 제어시스템으로 구성된다. 최근에 와서 대형 풍력터빈은 풍력 이용의 극대화를 위하여 가변속 풍력터빈이 채용되고 있다. 이에 따라 대형 발전기의 전압및 경제적인 측면에서 높은 전압의 기술 및 경제적인 측면에서 높은 전압의 채용이 불리함으로 저압을 채용할 수 밖에 없어 전력계통에 연결하기 위해서는 수십로 승압하며 중대형 풍력단지에서는 개별 풍력발전기에서 승압된 전력을 모아 이를 다시 특고압 변압기로 승압하여 대전력계통에 연결하게 된다.

교류기의 벡터제어방식

  • 벡터제어방식에 의하면 유도전동기는 거의 완전한 보상권선을 갖는 직류기라고 볼 수 있다. 파와트랜지스터를 이용할만한 소용량영역에서는 제어용 드라이브 시스템으로서 유도전동기에 확고한 위치를 굳혀 줄 수가 있다. 물론 전동기.검축기.콘트로라가 일체로 되어 성능향상이 뒤 따라야 할 것이다. 또한 대용량영역에서는 형상의 다이리스터 인버어터를 실용적인 수준에서 다상화 또는 다중화하면 거의 이상적인 교류기 가변속시스템을 얻을 수 있음을 위 설명에서 이해할 수 있을 것이다. 본고에서는 유도전동기에 대하여만 설명하였으나 벡터제어는 동기전동기에서도 가능하며 또한 중요함을 부기한다. 이 벡터제어에 관한 연구는 국내외에서 활발하며 멀지 않은 장래에 가변소제어에 직류전동기 대신 벡터제어를 하는 교류기가 많이 이용될 것을 기대한다.

  • A flywheel system which can compensate electric power is presented. The designed system has a capability of providing real and imaginary power instantaneously as well as storing energy. In this paper, a control algorithm is designed. The designed algorithm is to control the secondary side current of the wound rotor induction motor using voltage-based PWM inverter. The flywheel system has advantages in converter size and power quality improvement comparing to the conventional system.

  • Control algorithms and implementation issues for a wind turbine simulator are presented for realistic emulation of variable wind characteristics using a lab-scale motor and generator set. When the average wind speed nd turbulence level is given, the torque reference of prime mover is decided through various blocks, such as random wind speed generator, blade characteristic curves, and tower effect compensation. The variable nature of wind can be implemented and tested by not only the computer simulation but also the hardware-in-loop-simulator (HILS). Some application examples of HILS include the development and test of turbine control software for more efficient and stable operation. Feasibility of the proposed simulator has verified by computer simulations and experiment.
