This study aimed at creation of bench design to be placed in the public spaces for the citizen who live in Jungnang-Gu. In Jungnang-Gu surrounded by the excellent natural environment like Jungnang-stream, Mangwoo Mt., Bongwha Mt. and Youngma Mt., there are many public places where a citizen can take a rest. Among the public facilities being in such public places however, the benches especially were installed so unplanned and disordered, even that they look unbalanced with the natural environment, though they need to play a meaningful role in park and walking paths. Hereupon this study intends to investigate the geographical environment in Jungnang-Gu and furthermore to develop the bench-design on the basis of the investigation. The concept of design lies in modern style of a bench matched up with the nature well and also taking the functional aspect for rest, in consideration of the public places utilized by the abundant natural greens. The environment-friendly timber, marble and metal were used here and the design with and without the back of a bench & the dimension for Korean people's figure were considered.

This study aims to organize the research ways of interior design for clothing stores as a management strategy in the market changing rapidly. The public met their needs in a mass production system. However, the brand-name companies began to create the conditions of consumption for people, there appeared people with new lifestyles and new way of thoughts so that their propensity to consume resulted in consumption activities, and it become varied, individual, and highly qualified. Therefore, in view of consumers' priority, based on SI sales environment this paper aims to create a new image by re-designing the interior and furniture of shops which will help to enhance the image of brand name. Therefore, the brand-name companies will expect a large sale for the new product and it will apply to sales environments of other products and influence them. The purpose of this paper is to find a desirable way to increase sales efficiency for the companies. In order to get a concept and propriety of sales environment design, examined mutual relation to each study of interior design, marketing, and fashion design. Through referring to the documents research of these fields I could get a conception and basic structure for them. Based on the theoretical knowledge, this study was made to show to examine and generalize the existing sales environments and situations and set up a new concept for this. It will apply to interior design and store holds and present a new design alternative for improvement.

Design of the container was designed to be able to have a sense of security by emphasizing the points and easy to use sophisticated in order to match the image of the company in an environmentally friendly form of the whole. The design of the natural detergent container, because the container itself is to prevent related bar closely with water, a slip, with an emphasis on the form of fish swim, looks the handle of the oval for the harmony of the entire container I was used to the point. The image extraction in the ordinary, you can design by applying the curve of streamlined feet of thin in order to emphasize the image of honest companies, oval fuselage top, easily without slipping and harmony of the image of the entire container in view of the functional aspects can grab to, which is designed to enter the interior. The design of the natural environment detergent container industry, it was incorporated as much as possible to the vessel and corporate image and sense of stability and the proportion of the overall shape, the basic concepts, the form on the productivity and functionality in the field of design, through the change and simplicity, with an emphasis on merchantability.

The approach of using the structure of the Joseon Dynasty Zen tradition we design a piece of table for outdoor camping is a necessity in modern culture as continuing to develop this research. Analyzing outdoor and camping equipment according to the time change, we focus on the study table for outdoor camping can apply the structure of the elbow. Outdoor supply is also overlaid with the change, while changing in the picnic and camping camp sensibility that was taking advantage of the individuality of each of the general camp. However, it is a surface camp that Korean culture is not to build up the camp culture that has been fixed camp culture of the world in the only development, following the camp trend of European and American. In an attempt to adhere to the trend of Korea currently camped, camping outdoor products that apply the beauty of Korea with a combination of new modern representation tradition and our culture has designed research. I have designed the camp outdoor table based on the contents mentioned above. For the design of this time, it is now possible to use appropriately in accordance with the outdoor environment conditions that are designed to upright seat sharing table in the market tables for camping and to be divided into the seat and upright.

In the latest furniture design field, we can find mass production with concept of heterogeneity that is made by harmonizing existing object with other object, which has new value. In order to follow the trend in the reality, various design process method that applied concept of Hybrid is attempted by flexibly combining or changing heterogeneous materials, formations or functions such as combination of new material and wood or IT. However, not like other design fields, its research range in furniture design is limited. This study is conducted in order to overcome and supplement problems that are made when these different materials are combined, such as faults or cracks made due to difference of expansion and contraction coefficient, lack of intensity and change of formation due to external temperature and humidity. Panels that are combined for this study were verified materials that have passed environmental adaptation test throughout the period of 1 year and 2 months, which will be made into a table. By doing this, this study will be an empirical study that establish concept of furniture made with acrylic and provides manufacturing method of combining wood and acrylic. Finally it proposed a new furniture design method that follows the trend by researching new materials with the new concept.

Today, our indoor space requires a user-centered considering design that satisfies even human sensitivity. The word 'sensitivity' is being frequently used in the design market recently and this means that consumers are becoming more sensitive. For this reason, the characteristics of Toyo Ito's architecture, which are innocent due to its natural structure and materials, are suggested as a sensitive lighting stand design which can relieve users' stress from daily life and bring a psychological stability. As such, sensitivity lighting can create a lighting environment that considers consumers in various spaces along with the development of new scientific technologies and develop in a new direction of aesthetical beauty and eco-friendly area. In this study, a natural and sensitive lighting stand is suggested where a variety of digital art techniques of LED are applied based on formative characteristics of relationship, one of Toyo Ito's architectural concept factors. Such sensitivity lighting designs can not only realize a type-free design but also suggest a creation of the atmosphere which is close to nature.

This study established the scope of the main contents and interpretation of wooden product design using the CNC manufacturing technology as well as the basic concepts of which were defined, accordingly. After coming up with the definition of the CNC wood manufacturing technology from the academic point of view, a design study, using the practical CNC manufacturing technology, was conducted by analyzing and summarizing the contents of each process. In addition, data research and analysis including review on literatures and case studies of existing products were promoted besides design development through application of the design concepts, ergonomics, principle of molding, etc. Ultimately, this study suggested the step-by-step procedure in design drawing, 3D modeling, CAD/CAM data production, CNC manufacturing, and prototype completion together with figures. Through this, the study proposed a standard manufacturing guideline for wood product design using digital manufacturing technology. Base on such efforts, the advantages and points for improvement in product design using CNC manufacturing technology and the future direction of development were forwarded. Meanwhile, a prototype image that was developed through collaborative efforts between the academic circle and field workers was presented to help the case study on the wooden product design technique using CNC.

Since the significance of the living room has been stressed as the space for family gathering, the weight of an ornamental console among the living room furniture is being increased. A console is an excellent small-sized furniture to highlight the spatial characteristics by being placed in front of the plane wall, which is left as an empty space or between doors. Therefore, this study aims to defined a console and to understand the issues raised on it by analyzing the domestic and international data that are addressed until today. Meanwhile, various consoles in the market today were analyzed through catalogues, data derived from internet, and literature sources on furniture to conduct the processes of idea sketch, rendering, design confirmation, design draft, and computer rendering (3D). As for the design concept of a console, modern design equipped with practicability and ornamental is adopted in the form of a combined console table and flower vase. In terms of economic feasibility and versatility, the design is developed to allow the console use by removing the glass pipe depending on needs and in case of using a flower vase, small flower can be decorated using a glass pipe for the ornamental effect.

Furniture in the modern living environment, inclusive the importance of its practical value, is a plastic element of indoor space, and its artistic value also holds an important position. Moreover, emotional design based on the emotional engineering in a structural change of modern society such as urbanization, small family, aging society is proposed as an important keyword in the modern design. Namely, furniture as an component of modern residential space has been advanced as a human-oriented environmental element considering people's emotional and mental value to the functional satisfaction and artistic and emotional satisfaction. Furniture is a living tool that is much contacted to people, which affects highly on people's body and mind. This means that people's volition action can be naturally induced by furniture design, and that furniture can display a role as an active tool of means to make people's interpersonal communication and interchange. Namely, I think furniture design of emotional interchange that understands furniture user's pattern behavior and pattern, and observes furniture form and structure and functionality on users' relationship affecting on people's emotional stability and interpersonal interchange of emotion, as an indispensable element necessary for producing more human and prosperous environment of life.

With the rapid economical and technological progress in China, the demand for wine increased tremendously along with the need for wine storage furniture and wine related products. Although demand for furniture increased, consumers' emotional need toward high quality design product has not been met properly. As the quality of people's life improves, they pursue better materials providing them with higher mental satisfaction. To meet the specific demand of Chinese market stated above, the direction of this report is set as to study pattern elements of Chinese traditional lattice and combine them with wine storage furniture design and crafting, which is originated from western culture. By doing that, the study is aimed to suggest a new direction of Chinese modern design and to improve the fundamental notion of Chinese furniture design. Although wine and wine racks are from western world, the wine mini-bar designed in this study stands out for its beauty and taste of eastern culture. It not only fits perfectly to the habits and taste of wine lovers, but also goes very well with fusion style interior design trend in modern China. The furniture carries the charm of eastern cultural tradition and elegance of modern furniture design in one.
