디엔제3성분단위체(第三成分單位體)가 EPDM가황체(加黃體)에 미치는 영향(影響)

  • 이 논문(論文)의 목적(目的)은 열적안정성(熱的安定性) 및 내노화성면(耐老化性面)에 있어서 디엔제3성분단위체(第三成分單位體)(diene termonomer)의 각각(各各)의 종류(種類)가 EPDM의 중합체(重合體)의 성질(性質)에 미치는 효과(效果)를 구명(究明)하는데 있다. 제3성분단위체(第三成分單位體) 5종(種)으로 각각(各各) 다음과 같다. 즉, ethylidene norbonene(ENB), butadiene(BD), dicyclopentadiene(DCPD), methyltetrahydroindene (MTHI) 및 1,4-hexadiene(HD)이다. 이들을 써서 만든 각각(各各)의 EPDM은 동(同)몰의 불포화도(不飽和度)로 만들어졌다. 또한 가황계(加黃系)는 동일(同一)한 황/촉진제계(黃/促進劑系)를 사용(使用)하였다. ENB-EPDM이 순(純)고무배합체(配合體) 및 충전제함유배합체(充塡劑含有配合體)의 가황(加黃)에 있어서 모두 함께 가장 빠른 가황속도(加黃速度)를 보였다. HD-EPDM은 순(純)고무배합체(配合體)에서 가황속도(加黃速度)가 가장느렸으나 충전제함유배합물(充塡劑含有配合物)에서는 DCPD-EPDM보다는 발랐다. BD-EPDM을 제외(除外)한 이들 중합체(重合禮)는 거의 같은 초기가교밀도(初期架橋密度)를 갖는다. 가교밀도(架橋密度) 및 가교형(架橋型)을 분석(分析)하여 보면 BD-EPDM 쇄(鎖)에서 부타디엔 단위(單位)는 블럭을 이루고 있다. 또한 HD-EPDM은 순(純)고무가황체(加黃體) 및 충전제배합가황체(充塡劑配合加黃體)에 있어서 원가교결합(原架橋結合)의 50%가 monosulfide의 구조(構造)를 가지고있다. 이외(外)의 4종(四種)의 EPDM 폴리머는 보다 낮은 monosulfide구조를 가진다. $177^{\circ}C(350^{\circ}F)$의 노화온도(老化溫度)에서 ENB 및 HD폴리머는 약(約) 65% monosulfide 가교(架橋) 및 거의 동일(同一)한 파괴에너지값$(E_b)$을 가진다. 그러나 1,4HD의 원가교(原架橋)의 monosulfide 구조함량(含量)이 보다 높다고 해서 그의 내노화성(耐老化性)이 다른 폴리머보다 더 좋다고는 생각되지 않는다. DCPD는 $177^{\circ}C(350^{\circ}F)$의 노화온도(老化溫度)에서 똑같은 monosulfide가교(架橋)를 가지나 노화온도(老化溫度)가 $259^{\circ}C(500^{\circ}F)$로 높아짐에 따라 monosulfide 함량(含量)도 증가(增加)한다. $550^{\circ}F(287.7^{\circ}C)$의 노화온도(老化溫度)에서는 EPDM폴리머의 모든 가교(架橋)가 monosulfide구조가 되나 전가교밀도(全架橋密度) 및 $E_b$ (신장률(伸長率), 절단시(切斷時)의)는 대단(大端)히 낮은 것으로 나타나는데 이것은 산화(酸化)에 의한 노화(劣化)에 기인(基因)되는 것으로 보인다. 질소기류(窒素氣流)속에서의 TGA의 분석결과(分析結果)를 보면 EPDM 가황체(加黃體)는 $800\sim935^{\circ}F(427\sim502^{\circ}C)$의 온도범위(溫度範圍)에서 분해(分解)되며 공기중(空氣中)에서는 $750\sim935^{\circ}F$ 범위(範圍)에서 분해(分解)한다.

  • A styrene solution of waste expanded polystyrene with a crosslinking agent and an initiator was used as a binder for waste wood-plastic composite panels. The waste wood-plastic composite panels are prepared with various binder contents and filler-binder ratios by using a hot press molding method. The apparent density of the composite panels is increased with increasing binder content and filler-binder ratio, while their water absorption and expansion in thickness are decreased with increasing binder content and filler-binder ratio. The maximum flexural strength and wet flexural strength of the composite panels are obtained at a binder content of 35% and a filler-binder ratio of 0.8. Decreases in the flexural strengths of the composite panels due to water immersion at 20 and $100^{\circ}C$ are hardly recognized at binder contents of 30% or more.

  • HTPB/AP/AI 추진제는 none-reinforcing filler가 다량 함유되어 있어 기계적 특성은 바인더와 고체 충진제의 계면 접착력에 따라 크게 영향을 받으며 이를 향상시키기 위해 결합제의 연구가 다수 진행되었고 추진제의 인장 변형율을 증가시키기 위해 HTPB의 관능기수에 따른 가교밀도, 경화제와 경화촉매, 가소제등 최적의 바인더조성을 위해 가능한 원료 및 함량 연구에 많은 노력을 기울여 왔다. 또한 추진제의 주원료로서 AP는 추진제의 성능 및 내탄도 관점에서 입자크기에 따른 연소특성 및 고성능을 위한 충전 분율에 대해 주로 연구되었으며 특히 Oberth와 Farris는 고체추진제 분야에서 많은 업적을 이루었다.(중략)

  • Hydrosilylation and vromination of vacterial poly($\beta$-Hydroxyalkanoates) containing carbon-carbon double bond or triple bond were carried out. The produced polymers were characterized by IR-spectroscopy and differential scnning calorimetry. Hydrosilylated polymers were characterized crystallinity while brominated polymers had lower degree of crystallinity with increased glass transition temperatures. Mixing polymers containing carbon-carbon triple bonds with Co(II) AND Pt(II) resulted crosslinked polymers.

Prevention of Tissue Softening of Retorted Onion by Long Time, Low Temperature Blanching in Calcium Solution (칼슘용액에서의 저온 장시간 예비 열처리 방법을 이용한 레토르트 양파 조직의 연화방지)

  • In order to enhance the firmness of retorted onion, long time, low temperature blanching(LTLT) in calcium solution was conducted. Pre-heating onion in calcium solution significantly improved its texture after high temperature sterilization as compared to conventional blanching alone. The improvement of the firmness by the LTLT blanching is related to the formation of strongly cross-linkages between carboxyl groups and divalent cations($Ca^{2+}$) by the action of pectin methy-lesterase(PME) in onion. A maximum firmness of retorted onion was obtained at the condition of pre-heating at $70^{\circ}C$ for 120min in 0.5%calcium solution. This result supports that the activity of PME and the content of bonded calcium in onion were highest at $70^{\circ}C$. Additionally, the reaction of alkali calcium with various divalent cations such as $Mg^{2+}$ provided a function to hydrolyze pectin molecules, resulting in firmer retorted onion in various calcium agents. Further investigation should be carried out to determine the optimal condition for prevention of tissue softening of various retorted vegetables.

  • Polyacrylic super absorbent polymer(SAP) containing sorbitol was synthesized by inverse-suspension polymerization method. Sodium acrylate and acrylic acid were used as a monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate(EGDMA) and glycerol polyglycidyl ether(GPGE) were used as a crosslinking agent, potassium persulfate(PPS) was used as an initiator, and cyclohexane was used as a solvent. Content of sorbitol was from 10mol% to 50mol% according to the mol ratio of acrylic acid monomer. The size distribution of the round shaped polymeric particle was $177{\sim}707{\mu}m$. Absorption amount of the polymer containing sorbitol was 785 to 1086 times of the polymer weight in distilled water, was 50 to 83 times in 0.9 % NaCl solution. Absorption and retention amount of the polymer were decreased with increasing the amount of sorbitol, but the polymer has an endothermic property which is +5 cal/g SAP.

  • In this study, we identified how the water content change in various NCO index affects the static comfort of polyurethane seat foam pad for automobiles. In order to identify factors that affect the static comfort, a static load test was performed using UTM to plot a hysteresis curve. The hardness of the foam when it was modified by 25, 65%, hysteresis loop area, hysteresis loss (%), and Sag factor were also obtained. By measuring the swelling ratio, it was confirmed that, as the water content increased in a fixed NCO index, the hardness and crosslinking density increased while the restoring force decreased due to the increase of urea bond. Also the Sag factor decreased due to the increase of surface hardness. As the NCO index increased in a fixed water content, the urethane and urea bond reacted more with isocyanate, leading to an increase in hardness and decrease in restoring force.

Morphology and Properties of Microcellular foams by High Infernal Phase Emulsion Polymerization: Effect of Emulsion Compositions (HIPE 중합에 의한 미세기공 발포체의 모폴로지 및 물성: 유화계 조성의 영향)

  • Regular, spherical and isotropic open-microcellular foams having low density were prepared by the high internal phase emulsion (HIPE) polymerization mainly composed of styrene monomer and water The effects of Polymerization conditions. such as the content of water, divinylbenzene as a crosslinking agent and dodecane as a chain transfer agent, were investigated based on the tell size and foam properties. The microstructural morphology was observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the compression modulus of the foam was evaluated using compression test. The dropwise feeding of the aqueous phase into the oil phase was more effective than the batch feeding in producing the uniform and stable foam. Agitation speed and surfactant strongly influenced on the cell size and the window size between water droplets. Introduction of chain transfer agent increased the cell size, whereas it decreased the window size. Compression modulus increased with the crosslinking agent, but decreased with the chain transfer agent.

Studies on the Crosslinking Density and Reinforcement of Rubber Compounds by Cure System (가황조건별 배합고무의 가교밀도와 고무보강성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the crosslinking density and reinforcement of rubber compounds with various carbon black loadings, cure systems and cure temperatures. Bound rubber content increased with volume fraction of carbon black in rubber compounds, but total crosslinking density decreased with increasing the bound rubber content. Rate constant of cure reaction was changed significantly by cure system and cure temperature, especially it showed strong dependence on the cure temperature. High activation energys of cure reaction were shown in the rubber compound with high loading of carbon black under EC system and in the rubber compound with low loading of carbon black under CC system. High total crosslinking density of vulcanized compounds appeared in the rubber compound with low loading of carbon black and CC system among cure systems. Typical change of total crosslinking density by EC system was not shown. The highest elastic constant by Mooney-Rivlin equation was shown in the rubber compound with low loading of carbon black and SEC system. Modulus increased as increasing the loading of carbon black in the rubber compounds and showed the order of SEC, CC, and EC system for cure system.

  • This study was performed to understand the behavior of protein mobility and intensity of enzymatic hydrolysis according to crosslinking of sodium caseinate, whey protein isolate, skim milk and whole milk powders with or without transglutaminase (TGase, w/w = 200 : 1) at $38^{\circ}C$. Whey protein was limited to crosslinking and skim milk was relatively more increased in high molecular polymer than whole milk. The degree of crosslinking decreased in the order of sodium caseinate>skim milk>whole milk>whey protein isolate. The SDS-PAGE results indicated that main bands of TGase treated samples had a high mobility and formed bands of molecular weights below 15 kDa by hydrolysis with pepsin after 10 min of reaction time. However, ${\beta}-lactoglobulin$ showed remarkable stability against pepsin hydrolysis treated with and without TGase. The high molecular polymers were easily hydrolyzed with digestive enzymes in vitro experiment. These results suggested that novel dairy products using TGase would have no special digestive problem in human body.
