A Study on Japanese' Conception of the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere from the Viewpoint of Multilateralism - With Focus on a Theoretical Analysis on Peacelessness - (다자주의(多者主義) 시각(視角)에서 본 일본(日本)의 대동아공영권구상(大東亞共榮圈構想) 연구(硏究) - 비평화성(非平和性)에 대(對)한 이론적(理論的) 분석(分析)을 중심(中心)으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the practical meaning of the conception of the greater East Asia co-prosperity sphere in the modern era in Japan through the research using the theoretical framework of multilateralism that is a universal approach to international peace and cooperation in the 21st century. Especially, the analysis of applying the conceptual matters and the components of multilateralism to the conception of the greater East Asia co-prosperity sphere in modern Japan is the central research method of this paper, and through this research, I would like to present systematically the peacelessness in the conception of the greater East Asia co-prosperity sphere. From the viewpoint of the conceptual aspects of multilateralism, it can be said that the conception of the greater East Asia co-prosperity sphere lacks the equality and autonomy among countries, and it does not conform to the multilaterality with core contents of cooperation and peace. From the viewpoint of the aspects of multilateralism, it can be said that the conception of the greater East Asia co-prosperity sphere does not satisfy the indivisibility of related value, the generalized principles of conduct and the comprehensive reciprocity. I expect that this research can provide certain criteria for the preparation of the theoretical foundation of regional cooperation in East Asia and regional peace building plan in progress.

  • 이번달부터는 국내 저명 기업목장들이 작업환경과 사육환경의 개선을 위해 취한 여러 가지 시설 개선사례를 비평과 함께 연재할 계획이다. 이 계획은 우리나라 낙농시설의 발전단계와 미래를 생각하는 기회를 제공하게 될 것이며 나아가서 현재 중소 경영규모인 전업농가가 시설개선의 시행착오를 반복함이 없이 성장발전하도록 연재할 목적을 포함하고 있다. 그러므로 대상목장이 선정되면 개선된 시설의 장단점은 물론 과거의 문제점과 그 개선과정을 비교적 상세히 설명하고자 한다.

A Theoretical Approach for criticizing the Model House of Apartment (아파트 모델하우스 비평을 위한 이론적 접근)

  • The objective of this study was to criticize the model house of apartment and suggest a evaluation model which could be used as an effective tool. The evaluation model had been developed based on the theoretical framework suggested by previous results of research related on housing design, which comprised the following four components : 1) the paradigm of future home and life-style, 2) marketing effects of housing developer, 3) goals and principles of housing design and 4) results of user-preferences study, an evaluation model was suggested as a preliminary form which would be modified in detail after series of tests in the field. The evaluation model will be used to provide standardized criteria for the quality of model houses, and eventually help to improve the quality of apartment housing design by balanced information from theorist, user and developer.

  • The initial condition of a core transient should be consistent with real core state for the simulation of the core tansient. The initial xenon distribution, which can not be measured in the core, has a significant effect on the transient with xenon dynamics. In the simulation of the transient starting from non-equilibrium xenon state, the accurate initialization of the non-equilibrium xenon distribution is essential for the prediction of the core transient behavior. In this study, a xenon initialization method to predict the core transient more accurately was developed through the equivalent pre-xenon-oscillation which represents the tenon oscillation before the transient and verified by the application of the simulation for a startup test of Yonggwang Unit 3.

  • 디지털 인쇄 시스템이 인쇄업계에서 본격적으로 성장하기 시작한 2000년대 중반부터 가변데이터인쇄(VDP ; Variable Data Print)와 개인화는 디지털 인쇄의 가장 강력한 무기의 하나로 여겨졌다. 실제로 VDP는 디지털 인쇄의 중요한 성장요인이 됐으며, 디지털 인쇄 시장의 확대에도 커다란 공헌을 했다. 이러한 VDP가 여전히 유용하며, 한계는 없는가? 최근 들어 비평적인 시각으로 접근하며, 지속적인 성장을 위해서는 새로운 변화가 필요하다는 의견이 대두되고 있다. 지난 10여년 동안 커다란 비판 없이 수용되던 VDP와 개인화 응용이 재고의 기회에 놓인 것이다. 신발 끈을 다시 묶고 뛰기 위함이다.

  • 건축에 있어서 이론과 실제의 관계 문제는 오랫동안 건축 담론에 대한 주요 대상이 되어왔다. 이는 건축에서의 발전이 역사적으로 동시대의 사회적, 문화적, 경제적 환경의 진화와 더불어 진행되어 왔기 때문이며, 건축작업 선상에서 대두되는 이론과 실제의 관계와 맥락성이 건축의 주체성에 매우 중요한 요소로 여겨지기 때문이기도 하다. 1960년대부터 불거진 포스터모던주의의 사고적 영향은 건축분야의 의미와 가치에 있어서 학문과 실무분 야에서 새롭게 재조명되기 시작하였고, 기존 건축고유의 영역을 벗어나, 역사, 이론, 비평, 기술 및 디자인 분야로 확장되어 새롭고 다양한 접근 방법과 그 방식에 대한 고민을 추구하기 시작하였다. 건축작업에 중요한 근거를 제시해주는 비평적 사고를 유지하기 위하여, 이론적인 아이디어에서 실질적인 실무로서의 투사방법, 그리고 그 사이의 절충을 지속하기 위함은 특히 현대사회에서 더욱 복합적이며 다면적인 질문이 되고 있다. 이 논문은 건축의 투사 방법에 있어서 현대 건축가들이 자신들의 이론적인 관점과 그 관점을 건축적으로 가시화 시키는 관계성을 관찰하고, 어떻게 본인만의 논리와 프로세스를 추구하고 지속하는가에 대한 점을 연구하는데에 그 목적이 있다.

  • Interfacial surface crack perpendicular to the surface, which is imbedded into bonded quarter planes under single anti-plane shear load is analyzed. The problem is formulated using Mellin transform, form which single Wiener-Hopf equation is derived. By solving the equation stress intensity factor is obtained in closed form. This solution can be used as a Green's function to generate the solutions of other problems with the same geometry but of different loading conditions.

  • Phosphorous contaminated in the effluent from sewage treatment plants can cause the eutrophication in surface water bodies. In this study, a powder of titanium oxysulfate-sulfuric acid made of ion-exchange materials was immobilized in an alginate gel and this material was examined to evaluate its phosphorous removal efficiency. Equilibrium and kinetic studies were carried out to quantify the adsorption capacity and time dependent removal rate of phosphorous. Adsorption isotherms and kinetic parameters were obtained for the entrapped titanium beads with three different methods. Equilibrium data were analyzed using Langmuir adsorption isotherm model and found to be well fitted to the model. The maximum adsorption capacity for phosphorous by the titanium bead synthesized with the solution method was 92.26 mg/g. Kinetic data followed a pseudo-second-order kinetic model. Due to the low production cost and high adsorption capacity, the titanium bead synthesized by the solution method has a potential to be utilized for the cost-effective removal of phosphorous from wastewater.

  • Thermal stratification phenomena in the liquid oxygen tank of launch vehicle is caused by heat influx from ambient and non-equilibrium heat and mass transfer in the cryogenic tank. The thermal stratification study is needed for designing vent system, tank insulation, pump inlet. In this paper by investigating buoyancy driven boundary layer flow by side wall heating, one dimensional analysis of thermal stratification is peformed. thermal gradient is described with time.

Cartoon Criticism; The subject and the gaze based on Lacan' s theory otherness of vision : focusing on KUBRICK of Kang, Do-Ha (라캉의 시각의 타자성(대상 a)에 근거한 만화비평으로서의 주체와 응시 : 강도하의 큐브릭을 중심으로)

  • This thesis is on the purpose of seeking for the possibility of a mechanism in interpreting, analyzing and criticizing cartoons which are applied to the concept of "the gaze" based on "the otherness of vision", which states a pluralistic visual world. It proves that cartoons are in line with other art works that are the subject to "lack and desire"; the gaze, greets reality and acts as an important criterion of analyzing and criticizing the trend in contemporary art, in which the cartoon expresses the gaze in harmony within its work of art. In this thesis, the artist, Kang Doh-ha structuralized ambiguous and difficult forms of art as he has cumulated experimental minds by working in an indie cartoon plane for a long period of time. Among his works of art, he identified the "invisible world" through his piece "Kubrik". Therefore, he represented: a metaphor and a metonymy, an ambiguously situational expression, an intentional and emotional error, the structure of individuality and integration, and finally tension beyond its meaning through use of 'the gaze' that is both the cause and the subject of a desire in the visible world which Lacan academized when he interpreted and analyzed "Kubrik". The concept of the gaze can be used in a variety of ways to display one another's presence in relation each character, revealing a spot of lack by staring back at readers or audiences and furthermore, to analyze and criticize the hidden side of the art piece by critics. The most important details are the artist's gaze, which is seen in the eyes of the analysis and also his or her criticism of the cartoon, which functions as a metaphoric screen in which the subject himself or herself betrays the law of desires thus enabling the violent and cruel reality to be masked and indulged in plays. This will serve as an element that will lead into an art as well as control the degradation to just a piece of enjoyment with the cartoon remaining only within the visual world.
