This research entailed the production of stereoscopic 3D (S3D) contents using 2D-to-S3D conversion for exhibition at a museum and subjective evaluation. Hybrid production combining S3D images of existing live-action videos using the 2D-to-S3D conversion technology and computer graphic ones created via stereo rendering was conducted. Design and control of the chronological analysis of the parallactic angle was conducted on the produced contents, using binocular information as well as subjective evaluations, with the intent of conducting an investigation on the characteristics of such contents from the perspectives of the producers and viewers. An investigation was also conducted on the effects of the viewing position on the impressions of the S3D images.

본 논문은 레일레이 페이딩 채널 환경하에서, 적응형 변조기와 적응형 부채널 할당 방식을 적용한 다중 반송파 CDMA 시스템의 성능을 분석한다. 제안한 적응형 변조기는 QPSK, 16 QAM, 64 QAM, 256 QAM으로 구성하고, 신호점은 그레이 코드(Gray Code)로 나타내며, 임계값은 비트 에러율(BER)이 1 %일 경우의 평균 Eb/No를 사용한다. 적응형 부채널 할당 방식을 적용한 다중 반송파 시스템은 사용자의 DS파형을 L개의 부채널 중 가장 큰 K개의 부 채널로 선택하여 전송한다. 제안한 시스템의 경우, 총 부 채널수가 4이고 이 가운데 두 개의 부 채널로 데이터를 전송한다면 각 채널의 임계값은 5.2 dB, 9 dB, 13.2 dB와 8.4 dB, 12.2 dB, 16.3 dB 나타났다. BER이 $10^{-3}$을 만족하는 평균 $E_{b/}$ $N_{o}$ 는 8.1 dB로 기존의 시스템에 비해 12.9 dB의 성능이 개선되었다. 평균 심볼당 비트수(BPS)는 7 bit의 경우 15 dB의 평균 $E_{b/}$ $N_{o}$ 가 필요하다. 부 채널 에러가 발생한다면 BER이 $10^{-3}$을 만족하는 평균 $E_{b/}$ $N_{o}$ 는 13.6 dB로 5.5 dB의 성능 저하가 일어났다. 일어났다.

Background: In this study, we evaluated the anti-cancer activity and potential molecular mechanism of 70% ethanol extracts of the root of Aralia cordata var. continentalis (Kitagawa) Y. C. Chu (RAc-E70) against human colorectal cancer cells. Methods and Results: RAc-E70 suppressed the proliferation of the human colorectal cancer cell lines, HCT116 and SW480. Although RAc-E70 reduction cyclin D1 expression at the protein and mRNA levels, RAc-E70-induced reduction in cyclin D1 protein level occurred more dramatically than that of cyclin D1 mRNA. The RAc-E70-induced downregulation of cyclin D1 expression was attenuated in the presence of MG132. Additionally, RAc-E70 reduced HA-cyclin D1 levels in HCT116 cells transfected with HA-tagged wild type-cyclin D1 expression vector. RAc-E70-mediated cyclin D1 degradation was blocked in the presence of LiCl, a $GSK3{\beta}$ inhibitorbut, but not PD98059, an ERK1/2 inhibitor and SB203580, a p38 inhibitor. Furthermore, RAc-E70 phosphorylated cyclin D1 at threonine-286 (T286), and LiCl-induced $GSK3{\beta}$ inhibition reduced the RAc-E70-mediated phosphorylation of cyclin D1 at T286. Conclusions: Our results suggested that RAc-E70 may downregulate cyclin D1 expression as a potential anti-cancer target through $GSK3{\beta}$-dependent cyclin D1 degradation. Based on these findings, RAc-E70 maybe a potential candidate for the development of chemopreventive or therapeutic agents for human colorectal cancer.

본 연구는 파라볼릭 반사기의 체적을 줄일 수 있는 프린트 리플렉터어레이 안테나 설계에 대한 연구이다. 이를 위해 시뮬레이션과 제작된 도파관 시뮬레이터 측정을 통해 리플렉트어레이 안테나 단일소자의 위상변위 특성을 확인하였다. 그 결과, 10GHz에서 시뮬레이션시 최대 $298^{\circ}$의 위상 변위를 나타내었으며, 제작 측정시 $309^{\circ}$의 평균 위상변위 특성이 나타남을 확인하였다. 또한, 프린트 리플렉트어레이 안테나 이득은 28.3dBi, 3dB 빔폭은 E-plane $5.1^{\circ}$, H-plane $5.2^{\circ}$, 부엽은 E-plane -11.4dB, H-plane -17.6dB를 나타내었다.

We present 2D- photometric decompositions of ~1,200 nearby dwarf galaxies. Our representative sample is derived from 'A catalog of Visually classified galaxies in the Local Universe'(Ann, Seo and Ha APJS,,,2015) of which galaxy morphological types are determined by visual inspection of color images using the Sloan Digital Sky Survey data release 7. In this catalog, dwarf galaxies were divided into 5 subtypes : dS0, dE, dSph, dEbc, dEblue with distinction of the presence of nucleation in dE, dSph, and dS0. The dSph types are less brighter than other types, and galaxies with nuclei are slightly brighter than those with no nuclei in the same types. Sersic index n have a range 1~1.5, and $dE_{un}$ and $dSph_{un}$ galaxies have n less than 1, and $dSph_n$ galaxies have largest values. We performed two-dimensional decomposition of galaxies using GALFIT, and analyzed their structural components, and residual features which are seen in the residual image.

3D 콘텐츠의 등장인물과 실내 환경 구현에 집중하던 개발자들은 하드웨어 성능의 빠른 향상과 야외환경을 배경으로 제작되는 콘텐츠의 수요가 증가됨에 따라 사실적인 3D 야외환경을 표현하기 위한 자연현상 표현 기술 개발에 관심을 두고 있다. 특히, 야외를 배경으로 제작되는 e-sports 콘텐츠와 시뮬레이션 콘텐츠는 더욱 사실적인 자연환경 표현이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 실외를 배경으로 하는 e-sports 콘텐츠 및 3D 시뮬레이션 콘텐츠에 적용할 수 있는 사실적인 3D 자연환경을 보다 쉽고 편리하게 제작하기 위한 소프트웨어 "EMtool(Environment Making Tool)"을 제안한다. EMtool은 자연현상들의 유대관계 및 상호작용을 사실적으로 표현하기 위한 기술에 중점을 두고 개발되었으며, 3D가상공간 내에서 자연환경을 표현하기 위한 기술들과 자연물을 표현하기 위한 기술들을 포함한다. 제안된 방법은 쉽고 빠르게 3D 야외 환경 구성이 가능함에 따라 사실적인 자연환경을 배경으로 제작되는 게임이나 가상 시뮬레이션 등 실시간 3D 콘텐츠에 활용이 가능할 것이다. 또한 사실적인 3D 자연환경 제작 기술을 제공함으로서 콘텐츠의 품질 향상은 물론 콘텐츠 맞춤형 3D 자연환경을 실시간에 제작할 수 있음으로 생산성을 증대시킬 수 있을 것이다.

dLoran과 ASF 데이터 맵 그리고 로란 데이터 채널은 eLoran 시스템의 중요한 3 요소이다. dLoran은 eLoran 기술의 핵심 기술로 ASF 보정을 통해 항법 정확도를 향상시키는 기술이다. 이러한 dLoran 보정을 통해 항만 접안(HEA)시에 8~20 m 정확도의 항법 성능을 얻을 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 로란 9930M 체인 중에 주국인 포항 송신국의 신호를 이용하여 dLoran 측정을 하였다. 영일만 해상을 대상으로 dLoran 기준국을 포항 호미곶 표지관리소에 설치하고 시험용 수신기를 흥환 해수욕장에 설치하여 dLoran 측정의 유효성을 평가하였다. 그 결과 표지관리소 dLoran 기준국의 TOA 측정 데이터와 흥환 시험국의 이용자 수신기 TOA 측정 데이터의 하루 동안의 차분 데이터는 약 10~30 ns (거리오차: 3~9 m) 이내로 일치하고 있어서 이 dLoran 측정 데이터로 이용자의 ASF 측정값을 보정하면 eLoran의 항만 접안에서의 항법 정확도를 만족할 수 있다.

Background: Variants of human papillomavirus (HPV) show more oncogenicity than do prototypes. The HPV16 Asian variant (HPV16As) plays a major role in cervical cancer of Asian populations. Some amino acid changes in the E6 protein of HPV16 variants affect E6 functions such as p53 interaction and host immune surveillance. This study aimed to investigate activities of HPV16As E6 protein on modulation of expression of miRNA-21 as well as interferon regulatory factors (IRFs) 1, 3, 7 and c-fos. Materials and Methods: Vectors expressing E6 protein of HPV16As (E6D25E) or HPV16 prototype (E6Pro) were constructed and transfected into C33A cells. HCK1T cells expressing E6D25E or E6Pro were established by transducing retrovirus-containing E6D25E or 16E6Pro. The E6AP-binding activity of E6 and proliferation of the transfected C33A cells were determined. MiR-21 and mRNA of interesting genes were detected in the transfected C33A cells and/or the HCK1T cells, with or without treatment by culture medium from HeLa cells (HeLa-CM). Results: E6D25E showed binding activity with E6AP similar to that of E6Pro. Interestingly, E6D25E showed a higher activity of miR-21 induction than did E6Pro in C33A cells expressing E6 protein. This result was similar to the HCK1T cells expressing E6 protein, with HeLa-CM treatment. The miR-21 up-regulation significantly corresponded to its target expression. Different levels of expression of IRFs were also observed in the HCK1T cells expressing E6 protein. Interestingly, when treated with HeLa-CM, IRFs 1, 3 and 7 as well as c-fos were significantly suppressed in the HCK1T cells expressing E6D25E, whereas those in the HCK1T cells expressing E6Pro were induced. A similar situation was seen for IFN-${\alpha}$ and IFN-${\beta}$. Conclusions: E6D25E of the HPV16As variant differed from the E6 prototype in its activities on epigenetic modulation and immune surveillance and this might be a key factor for the important role of this variant in cervical cancer progression.

In the superconducting $Sr_2VO_3FeAs$, containing bimetallic layers, with maximum $T_c{\approx}\;46\;K$ correlation effects on V ions have been investigated using LDA+U method. Within the local density approximation (LDA) this system has the one-third filled $t_{2g}$ manifold of V, decomposed into $d_{xy}$ of bandwidth W=2 eV and nearly degenerate $d_{zx}d_{yz}$ of W=1 eV. Consideration of correlation effects leads to a metal-insulator transition on V ions $t^{2\uparrow}_{2g}\;{\rightarrow}\;d^{1\uparrow}_{xz}\;d^{1\uparrow}_{yz}$ at the critical on-site Coulomb repulsion $U_c$= 3.5 eV. At U=4 eV, the electronic structure, in which V ions are insulating, leads to several van Hove singularities near $E_F$ and similar Fermiology with other pnictides. Applying U to V ions results in increasing Fe moment as well as V moment, indicating somewhat hybridization between Fe and V ions even though this system is strongly 2-dimesional. Our results show possible importance of correlation effects on this system.

Pseudomonas sp. P20 was shown to be capable of degrading biphenyl and 4-chlorobiphenyl (4CB) to produce the corresponding benzoic acids wnich were not further degraded. But the potential of the strain for biodegradation of 4CB was shown to be excellent. The pcbA, B, C and D genes responsible for the aromatic ring-cleavage of biphenyl and 4CB degradation were cloned from the chromosomal DNA of the strain. In this study, the pebC and D genes specifying degradation of 2, 3-dihydroxybiphenyl (2, 3-DHBP) produced from biphenyl by the pebAB-encoded enzymes were cloned by using pBluescript SK(＋) as a vector. From the pCK102 (9.3 kb) containing pebC and D genes, pCK1022 inserted with a EcoRI-HindIII DNA fragment (4.1 kb) carrying pebC and D and a pCK1092 inserted with EcoRI-XbaI fragment (1.95 kb) carrying pebC were constructed. The expression of pcbC and D' in E. coli CK102 and pebC in E. coli CK1092 was examined by gas chromatography and UV-vis spectrophotometry. 2.3-dihydroxybiphenyl was readily degraded to produce meta-cleavage product (MCP) by E. coli CK102 after incubation for 10 min, and then only benzoic acid(BA) was detected in the 24-h old culture. The MCP was detected in E. coli CK1022 containing pebC and 0 genes (by the resting cells assay) for up to 3 h after incubation and then diminished completely in 8 h, whereas the MCP accumulated in the E. coli CK1092 culture even after 6 h of incubation. The 2, 3-DHBP dioxygenases (product of pebC gene) produced by E. coli CK1, CK102, CK1023, and CK1092 strains were measured by native PAGE analysis to be about 250 kDa in molecular weight, which were about same as those of Pseudomonas sp. DJ-12, P. pseudoa1caligenes KF707, and P. putida OU83.
