신뢰성을 갖는 MEMS 프로브 팁의 설계 및 특성평가 (Reliable design and characterization of MEMS probe tip)

  • The Probe Card is a test component which is to classify the good semiconductor chips before the packaging. The yield of semiconductor product can be better from analysis of probe test information. Recently the technology of the probe card needs narrow width and large amount of probe tip. In this research, the probe tip based on the MEMS(micro electro mechanical system) technology was designed and fabricated to improve the reliability of the test and to meet 2-dimensional Array of tip. The mechanical and electrical properties of proposed tip were evaluated and it has over 100,000 of repetition times in the condition of 5gf, $20{\mu}m$ Over Drive.

  • Let n be a 2-step nilpotent Lie algebra which has an inner product <, > and has an orthogonal decomposition $n\;=z\;{\oplus}v$ for its center z and the orthogonal complement v of z. Then Each element z of z defines a skew symmetric linear map $J_z\;:\;v\;{\longrightarrow}\;v$ given by <$J_zx$, y> = for all x, $y\;{\in}\;v$. In this paper we characterize Jacobi fields and calculate all conjugate points of a simply connected 2-step nilpotent Lie group N with its Lie algebra n satisfying $J^2_z$ = A for all $z\;{\in}\;z$, where S is a positive definite symmetric operator on z and A is a negative definite symmetric operator on v.

  • P. V$\acute{a}$mos called a ring R 2-good if every element is the sum of two units. The ring of all $n{\times}n$ matrices over an elementary divisor ring is 2-good. A (right) self-injective von Neumann regular ring is 2-good provided it has no 2-torsion. Some of the earlier results known to us about 2-good rings (although nobody so called at those times) were due to Ehrlich, Henriksen, Fisher, Snider, Rapharl and Badawi. We continue in this paper the study of 2-good rings by several authors. We give some examples of 2-good rings and their related properties. In particular, it is shown that if R is an exchange ring with Artinian primitive factors and 2 is a unit in R, then R is 2-good. We also investigate various kinds of extensions of 2-good rings, including the polynomial extension, Nagata extension and Dorroh extension.

  • This article describes the fuzzy control of the 3-dimensional motion of the container cranes used in dockside container terminals. The container is suspended by four flexible cables via spreader, and due to the disturbances such as the wind and acceleration of cranes, the container undergoes translational(sway) and rotational position errors. And due to the uncertainty of weight and rotational inertia, accurate position control of container crane is difficult to realize. This paper, based on the analysis of 3-dimensional dynamics of container moving systems, describes the design of the fuzzy controller, which does not require the computation time to optimize the distribution of cable tension. The developed controller is shown effective in controlling the container position in the presence of gust and parameter uncertainties.

"고금도서집성(古今圖書集成)"과 한.중(韓.中) 의학교류(醫學交流) (${\ulcorner}Gogeumdoseojipseong{\lrcorner}$ and Medical Interchange between Korea and China)

  • ${\ulcorner}Gogeumdoseojipseong{\lrcorner}$, it has been compiled by Chenmenglei(1651-1723). This large encyclopedia was published in 1125 during Ohing dynasty of China in the reign of the Kangxi emperor. The medical parts of this encyclopedia was titled the name of Yibuquanlu, but it is not correct. KIOM(Korea Institute of oriental Medicine) researched the compilation and publication of the original book of this and the process of introduction to Chosun with its woodblock-printed book for making database of this book. Even more, we analyzed the structure of this book and apprehended the historical significance about medical interchange between Korea and China by this book. As the result, we found that the most part of this large encyclopedia quotedfrom ${\ulcorner}Donguibogam{\lrcorner}$ of Chosun, then it was back to Chosun and taken a part to medical books such as ${\ulcorner}Imwonkyungjaejis{\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}Uijongsonikr{\lrcorner}$.

  • With the rapid development of electronics industry and information-oriented society, the threat of fields radiated from electrostatic discharges (ESDs) to the electronic equipments is becoming more and more dangerous. To apply a proper protection method this paper presents the results of the measurement of the voltage and current peaks and the rise time of ESD derived from a charged human body under a variety of experimental conditions.

마이크로 충돌제트에서의 냉각 특성 (Cooling perfermance of micro-impinging jet)

  • Experimental study is conducted to investigate the cooling performance of impinging jet from microtube using Joule-Thomson effect to apply practical applications. And also the heat transfer characteristics of a impinging jet itself and the impinging jet with Joule-Thomson effect are tested to make a comparative study of the two different general ideas. For this propose, two kinds of copper microtubes which have 200 tim and 300 tim in inner diameter respectively were tested and $N_2$ was used as a working fluid. In case of impinging jet without Joule-Thomson effect, heat transfer coefficients distributions were similar to those of normal impinging jet. But in impinging jet with Joule-Thomson effect, the heat transfer coefficients decrease as jet-to-surface increases contrary to the case of the normal jet. As a result, much higher heat transfer coefficients are obtained with Joule-Thomson effect than those of the normal jet without J-T effect.

  • Clean and well maintained roadway signs are important for preserving driver's safety. The existing signs on the roadway must be periodically re-painted in order to maintain clean state. However, current sign painting operations are manually performed now. These are very slow and workers are exposed to very dangerous and hazard working environment. In this paper, we present the method for automating this job with gantry robot and spray system. In addition, we suggest two design concepts to resolve the problem that it is impractical to make the gantry system so big as to cover whole lane width. In order to show the validity of this system, the painting operation is simulated and experimentally executed.

  • This paper deals experimentally with the effect of the sound-damping sheet on building wall system; brick wall, light wall panel, and gypsum board. Experimental results show that when the sound-damping sheet is attached on wall systems, the mass and/or damping effects result in increasing of STL of wall system depending on the characteristics of the original partition. It is pointed out that the performances of sound damping sheets must be presented with specific wall structures that applied, not by the sound transmission loss of the sheet itself.

In speed control loop, we apply proportional gain and integral gain, using PID controller, respectively in servo motor and confirmed dynamic stiffness of servo motor varing each gain.
