Transfer Learning based Parameterized 3D Mesh Deformation with 2D Stylized Cartoon Character

  • As interest in the metaverse has grown, there has been a demand for avatars that can represent individual users. Consequently, research has been conducted to reduce the time and cost required for the current 3D human modeling process. However, the recent automatic generation of 3D humans has been focused on creating avatars with a realistic human form. Furthermore, the existing methods have limitations in generating avatars with imbalanced or unrealistic body shapes, and their utilization is limited due to the absence of datasets. Therefore, this paper proposes a new framework for automatically transforming and creating stylized 3D avatars. Our research presents a definitional approach and methodology for creating non-realistic character avatars, in contrast to previous studies that focused on creating realistic humans. We define a new shape representation parameter and use a deep learning-based method to extract character body information and perform automatic template mesh transformation, thereby obtaining non-realistic or unbalanced human meshes. We present the resulting outputs visually, conducting user evaluations to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method. Our approach provides an automatic mesh transformation method tailored to the growing demand for avatars of various body types and extends the existing method to the 3D cartoon stylized avatar domain.

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to show the rationale of point-selection on the methods of acupuncture and moxibustion in the Shin section(in the Naegyeong chapter) of the Donguibogam. Methods : First, We summarized the cause of each disease in the Shin section(in the Naegyeong chapter) of the Donguibogam. Then, We explained the rationale of acupuncture point-selection referring to the cause of disease, physiology of the Oriental medicine, exposition of acupuncture point name, character of each acupuncture points, flow of meridian pathways and specific acupuncture points etc. Results and Conclusions : Total 44 acupuncture points were used in the Shin section(in the Naegyeong chapter) of the Donguibogam. Most of acupuncture points were specific acupuncture points. but, some rationale of acupuncture point-selection were explained by the cause of disease, physiology of the Oriental medicine, exposition of acupuncture point name, flow of meridian pathways etc.

  • 본 연구는 게임이용자의 게임선택에 있어서 게임이용자와 게임캐릭터의 관계를 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 국내 게임시장이 게임업체간의 치열한 경쟁구도로 레드오션으로 바꿔진 현 시점에서 게임업체들은 게임이용자의 게임선택요인을 조사 분석하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 2010 대한민국 게임백서에 의하면, 게임이용자의 게임 선택 요인으로 캐릭터 선호도는 좋아하는 장르(57.3%), 지인추천(15.1%) 그리고 좋아하는 내용(13.7%)에 이어 4위를 차지하고 있을 정도로 매우 중요한 게임 선택 요인이라 할 수 있으며, 애니메이션, 게임 등 문화콘텐츠 산업에서 캐릭터와 관련된 선행연구에 의해서도 캐릭터의 중요성을 언급하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 게임 캐릭터는 게임이용자가 게임을 선택하는데 있어서 매우 중요한 변수라 할 수 있다.

  • The latest university makes the use of exhibition hall bring into relief a specific character and identity. This purpose of this design is to induce interest the exhibition plan, that is useful to appreciation of audience according to space structure. The concept of this design is to design continual circulation plan and to give correctness Information of the exhibit. Because to this exhibition hall is too small space, this design focus is continual circulation plan. The exhibit is classified to according to the character of that, which is distinguished according to the colour plan. The center of the hall is main image hall of university. The right space of the main hail is university history exhibition hall and the left space of the hall is a founder memorial hall. The main colour is light cream. An image object colour plan is point colou, which is bluish green colour.

  • Game program manufacture had been classed by 3D or on-line game etc. simply. But, atomized game programmer's kind now. So, Artificial Intelligence game programmer's role is important. This paper used reinforcement learning algorithm for Jul_Gonu board characters to learn, and so they can move intelligently. To compare a learned character to an random one, a board game was created, and then they fought against each other. As a result, learned character‘s ability was far more improved.

  • We studied the improved detecting method on Partial Discharge occurred in EHV power cable. In this field, we usually applied the several sensor for partial discharge. This is metal foil employed with the capacity foil-sensor. We detected the partial discharge through regularly array standard foil-sensor for the better improvement of existed foil-sensor in this research. This test is progressed in real EHV liveline, we analyzed that compare existed foil-sensor to detect character of FSA(Foil Sensor Array) for this test. From this result, detective character of fabricated FSA showed better result than existed foil-sensor.

  • In the early of Joseon Dynasty, Royal Tomb developed from stone chamber tomb to lime chamber tomb through precedents. The lime chamber tomb consists of main-chamber(JeongGwang) and sub-chamber(ToeGwang). This separation makes character to construct tumulus of the Royal Tomb half and half. By this character, the Royal Tomb are not constructed by separate structure but constructed by coadjustment. The underground structure and tumulus of the Royal Tomb affect each other in the size and method of construction. The selecting type of Royal Tomb is generally made decision through terrain and politics. This study prove the architectural structure is also one of the major cause the that select type of Royal Tomb.

Alleviating Deformation of MEMS Structure in Surface Micromachining (표면미세가공시 발생하는 MEMS 구조물의 변형 억제)

  • By removing sacrificial layer through ashing process, movable MEMS structure on substrate can be fabricated in surface micromachining. However, MEMS structure includes, during the ashing process, the warping or buckling effects due to stress gradient along the vertical direction of thin film. In this study, we presented method for counteracting the unwanted deflection of MEMS structure and designed using character of deposit process to overcome limited design conditions. Unit cell patterns were designed with character of deposit shape, and their final shapes were adopted using Finite Element Method. Finally, RF MEMS switch was fabricated by surface micro machining as test vehicles. We checked out that alleviation effect for deformation of switch improved by 35%.

  • 문자인식 즉 OCR(Optical Character Recognition)기술은 광학적으로 인식할 수 있는 문자를 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있도록 하는 기술을 뜻한다. 문자인식의 근간이 되는 방법은 스트링 매칭 기법이 사용되어 왔지만 한글의 경우 자음, 모음, 자음 조합으로 만 가지 유형이 넘고, 더욱이 상용한자와 영어를 섞어 쓰기 때문에 오인식되는 경우가 많다. 본 논문에서는 한글이 수직선, 수평선, 사선과 같이 방향성이 강한 선소들로 구성되어 있다는 점을 이용하여 한글의 인식률을 높이는 방법을 제안하였다.
