2000년대 한국영화는 자본의 영향으로 인해 민감한 문제를 정면에서 이야기 하는 대신 알레고리로 우회하는 것이 하나의 특징으로 나타났다. 복수3부작을 연출한 박찬욱은 이를 대표하는 감독이다. 박찬욱의 복수3부작 중 <친절한 금자씨>는 바로크 미학이 두드러진 작품으로, 이 논문에서는 발터 벤야민의 알레고리 개념을 중심으로 분석했다. 벤야민에 의하면 알레고리는 총체성으로 대표되는 상징과 달리 파편화된 것들을 직관에 의해 재구성하는 것으로 가상의 논리적 일관성을 위해 억압된 것들을 드러내는 작업이다. 이러한 모습이 잘 드러난 것이 바로크 시대 독일 비애극이다. 독일 비애극의 모습을 차용한 <친절한 금자씨>에서 박찬욱은 해방과 건국의 신화를 해체하여 오랫동안 역사서술에서 배제되어 왔던 사회주의자들과 무정부주의자들을 역사의 전면에 복원했다.

The femme fatale image presently observable in various fields is reproducing its image through repetitive imitation, change and application, in particular, through 'movies' which have a greater ripple effect on the public than any other mass media by incessantly producing a countless number of images. This study aims to figure out the intrinsic meaning and the characteristics of the image of femme fatale, understand the modern expression of it in movies and finally shed light on its image represented in Korean movies. For this study, the literature and internet materials related to the image of femme fatale in the movie "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" and the general concept of femme fatale were comprehensively surveyed. The femme fatale image which is represented in this movie is classified into 4 images ; disguise & mystery, retribution & cruelty, enchantment & beauty, salvation & redemption. The findings of this study provide an insight into how the femme fatale image is expressed in movies, the mass media which has a gigantic ripple effect, and provide the momentum to recognize the need and significance of understanding the femme fatale image represented in Korean movies.

근대 음악이 탄생하고 성장했던 바로크 시대의 음악은 영화를 위해 작곡된 음악은 아니지만 영화에 다양한 형태로 삽입되어 영화 전체의 분위기와 서사를 이끌어가고 등장인물의 감정과 내면세계를 표현하는데 중요한 기능적 역할을 담당한다. 이에 본 연구는 영화 <친절한 금자씨>에 사용된 테마곡인 비발디(A. Vivaldi)의 Cantata Rv.684를 포함한 5곡의 바로크 작품을 조성, 템포, 다이내믹, 음형, 음정, 화성, 리듬, 악기 편성, 장르 등의 다양한 관점을 통해 분석한 후 바로크 음악이 영화 속에서 어떠한 서사적 기능과 역할을 가지는지에 대해서 연구해 보고자 한다.

The purpose of this essay is to know the expressed form and color and also to examine the inner symbolic meaning of the movie "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" by producer Chan-Wook Park. In the movie, the main character Geumja has double personality, having both images of a wicked woman and a woman saint, and she showed the clothing of both good and evil. For example, while she was in prison, her prisoner uniform while she was taking care of her inmates, her pajama which is the symbol of innocence when she was atoning and praying, Geumja's appearance wasn't fabulous when she was wearing baker's cloth that symbolize pure inside. But in contrast, Geumja who was released from prison planned and execute vengeance, dress colorful dress and primary color make-ups. Blue color coat with gloomy mood, black leather coat with the image of female warrior, and the slip with intensive image and etc express Geumja's will of revenge. Like this, depend on the psychology of main character Geumja, it's easy to recognize the change of clothing and color, and it's possible to understand the symbolic meaning in it.

The Purpose of this study is to examine the inner symbolic meaning of the revenge movies, forcing on , , by producer Chan-Wook Park. This study was analyzed with theoretical frames of Greimas's and Lacan's desire theory. The results of this study is as follows: Main characters of these films were tangled each their with love, desire, angry, hate and revenge. They also had desires and needs of revenge caused by deficiency. These films represented blue as sorrow, depression, frigidness, loneliness and deficiency, red as love, desire, angry, hate and revenge, black as strong will, till-eat, death, violence and bloody-mindedness and white as forgiveness, expiation and salvation. The function of colors in conveying meaning was very effected to analyzing the visual power implications and psychological effects on human feelings that colors have in the movie.

색채는 영화의 다른 요소들과 동등한 기능을 하며, 표현의 자율성에 따른 상호작용적 의미를 갖는다. 빨강은 시선을 집중시키는 기능을 하며, 그로부터 유발된 의미는 확산된다. 텍스트와 콘텍스트의 관계에서 집중의 기능과 의미의 확산을 확인할 수 있다. 집중과 확산은 색상의 독자성, 색상과 다른 영화적 요소들과의 관계, 색상들 간의 상호작용에 따라 구체화된다. 이 연구는 대중성을 담보한 일련의 한국영화를 선정하여, 영화색채가 어떻게 상호작용하며, 특히 빨강의 집중 기능과 확산의 의미가 무엇인지를 분석한다. 이 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같이 분류할 수 있다. 첫째, <부산행>, <암살>, <광해, 왕이 된 남자>, <7번방의 선물>, <태극기 휘날리며>, <로보트태권V>, <연평해전>, <공동경비구역JSA>, <웰컴투동막골>, <화려한 휴가>와 같은 대중영화에서 빨강은 민족, 국민, 국가, 이념의 갈등을 표상한다. 둘째, <국제시장>, <도둑들>, <괴물>, <연애의 목적>, <님은 먼 곳에>, <천하장사 마돈나>, <음란서생>, <스캔들-조선남녀상열지사>, <여교수의 은밀한 매력>, <쌍화점>에서는 여성의 몸에 부착된 빨강이 한국사회에 고착된 젠더와 섹슈얼리티를 강화시킨다. 셋째, <이웃사람>, <분신사바>, <알포인트>, <장화, 홍련>, <여고괴담>, <4인용 식탁>, <박쥐>, <7광구>, <아수라>, <대호>, <베테랑>에서는 생명의 빨간 피가 주술과 공포의 근원이며 분노와 복수의 시각장치이다. 넷째, <왕의 남자>, <올드보이>. <살인의 추억>, <26년>, <변호인>, <부러진 화살>, <친절한 금자씨>, <해피엔드>, <완득이>, <소명>, <황해>, <방가? 방가!>에서 눈물의 빨강은 아름다운 욕망과 화려한 비극 같은 특정한 감정을 구성한다.
