높은 격리도 특성의 W-밴드용 MIMIC 단일 평형 주파수 혼합기의 설계 및 제작 연구 (A Study on Design and Fabrication of High Isolation W-band MIMIC Single-balanced Mixer)

  • 본 논문에서는 branch line coupler와 ${\lambda}/4$ 전송라인을 이용한 94 GHz 발룬 회로를 설계하였고, 이를 이용하여 높은 LO-RF 격리도 특성을 갖는 W-밴드용 MIMIC 단일 평형 주파수 혼합기를 개발하였다. 혼합기는 $0.1\;{\mu}m$ InGaAs/InAlAs/GaAs Metamorphic HEMT 다이오드를 적용하였다. 혼합기에 사용된 MHEMT는 전류이득차단 주파수가 154 GHz, 최대공진 주파수 특성이 454 GHz의 특성을 나타내었다. 제작된 혼합기의 특성 측정 결과 LO 입력 전력이 8.6 dBm일 때 12.8 dB의 변환 손실 특성을 나타내었으며, 입력 및 출력 P1 dB는 각각 5 dBm, -8.9 dBm의 특성을 나타내었다. 또한 LO-RF 격리도 특성은 94 GHz에서 37.2 dB로 높은 격리도 특성을 나타내었다. 격리도 특성을 고려할 때, 본 논문에서 설계 및 제작된 W-밴드용 MIMIC 단일 평형 주파수 혼합기는 기존의 밀리미터파 대역 혼합기와 비교하여 높은 LO-RF 격리도 특성을 나타내었다.

Phase Locked Loop Sub-Circuits for 24 GHz Signal Generation in 0.5μm SiGe HBT technology

  • In this paper, sub-circuits for 24 GHz phase locked 100ps(PLLs) using $0.5{\mu}m$ SiGe HBT are presented. They are 24 Ghz voltage controlled oscillator(VCO), 24 GHz to 12 GHz regenerative frequency divider(RFD) and 12 GHz to 1.5 GHz static frequency divider. $0.5{\mu}m$ SiGe HBT technology, which offers transistors with 90 GHz fMAX and 3 aluminum metal layers, is employed. The 24 GHz VCO employed series feedback topology for high frequency operation and showed -1.8 to -3.8 dBm output power within tuning range from 23.2 GHz to 26 GHz. The 24 GHz to 12 GHz RFD, based on Gilbert cell mixer, showed 1.2 GHz bandwidth around 24 GHz under 2 dBm input and consumes 44 mA from 3 V power supply including I/O buffers for measurement. ECL based static divider operated up to 12.5 GHz while generating divide by 8 output frequency. The static divider drains 22 mA from 3 V power supply.

Preparation of minor ginsenosides C-Mc, C-Y, F2, and C-K from American ginseng PPD-ginsenoside using special ginsenosidase type-I from Aspergillus niger g.848

  • Background: Minor ginsenosides, those having low content in ginseng, have higher pharmacological activities. To obtain minor ginsenosides, the biotransformation of American ginseng protopanaxadiol (PPD)-ginsenoside was studied using special ginsenosidase type-I from Aspergillus niger g.848. Methods: DEAE (diethylaminoethyl)-cellulose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis were used in enzyme purification, thin-layer chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) were used in enzyme hydrolysis and kinetics; crude enzyme was used in minor ginsenoside preparation from PPD-ginsenoside; the products were separated with silica-gel-column, and recognized by HPLC and NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance). Results: The enzyme molecular weight was 75 kDa; the enzyme firstly hydrolyzed the C-20 position 20-O-${\beta}$-D-Glc of ginsenoside Rb1, then the C-3 position 3-O-${\beta}$-D-Glc with the pathway $Rb1{\rightarrow}Rd{\rightarrow}F2{\rightarrow}C-K$. However, the enzyme firstly hydrolyzed C-3 position 3-O-${\beta}$-D-Glc of ginsenoside Rb2 and Rc, finally hydrolyzed 20-O-L-Ara with the pathway $Rb2{\rightarrow}C-O{\rightarrow}C-Y{\rightarrow}C-K$, and $Rc{\rightarrow}C-Mc1{\rightarrow}C-Mc{\rightarrow}C-K$. According to enzyme kinetics, $K_m$ and $V_{max}$ of Michaelis-Menten equation, the enzyme reaction velocities on ginsenosides were Rb1 > Rb2 > Rc > Rd. However, the pure enzyme yield was only 3.1%, so crude enzyme was used for minor ginsenoside preparation. When the crude enzyme was reacted in 3% American ginseng PPD-ginsenoside (containing Rb1, Rb2, Rc, and Rd) at $45^{\circ}C$ and pH 5.0 for 18 h, the main products were minor ginsenosides C-Mc, C-Y, F2, and C-K; average molar yields were 43.7% for C-Mc from Rc, 42.4% for C-Y from Rb2, and 69.5% for F2 and C-K from Rb1 and Rd. Conclusion: Four monomer minor ginsenosides were successfully produced (at low-cost) from the PPD-ginsenosides using crude enzyme.

6 MV 광자선의 측정데이터와 치료계획장치에 의한 계산데이터의 비교 (The Comparison of Beam Data between Measured Beam Data and Calculated Beam Data Using Treatment Planning System)

  • 입체조형방사선치료와 세기조절방사선치료를 위해 여러 셈법을 포함한 치료계획장치가 임상에 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 조사면 1$\times$1cm$^{2}$에서 최대 조사면 40$\times$40까지의 빔 데이터를 측정하여 이를 치료계획장치에 넣어 빔 모델링을 수행한 후 측정된 빔 데이터와 계산된 빔 데이터의 차이를 비교 분석하였다. 6 MV 광자선의 빔 데이터를 피형 실리콘 검출기와 radiochromic 필름을 사용하여 측정하였고 측정된 빔 데이터의 빔 모델링은 Pinnalce 7.4f의 자동화 모델링을 사용하였다. 작은 조사면의 경우 측정된 데이터와 계산된 데이터가 측방선량분포에 있어 선량 내 영역에서는 적게 평가되고 반음영 영역에서는 크게 평가됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한 심부선량백분율 곡선의 경우 D$_{max}$ 깊이가 작은 조사면의 경우 2 mm 정도 더 줄어듦을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 조사면 4$\times$4 cm$^{2}$에서 최대 조사면 40$\times$40 cm$^{2}$ 까지의 측방선량분포에 대해서는 측정된 데이터와 계산된 데이터가 잘 일치하였다.

Rigid한 Phenothiazine-Quinoxaline D/A 공액 고분자 구조의 용해성 향상 연구 및 유기박막태양전지로의 특성 분석 (Improved Solubility and Characterization of Photovoltaic Properties D/A Copolymers based on Rigid Structure of Phenothiazine-Quinoxaline)

  • 본 연구는 전자주개 물질인 phenothiazine 유도체와 전자받개 물질로 quinoxaline 유도체를 Suzuki coupling reaction으로 push-pull 구조의 고분자(PPQX-2hdPTZ (P1), POPQX-2hdPTZ (P2))를 합성하였다. 용해도 향상을 위해 기본 골격에 alkoxy 사슬을 도입하였고, 반응시간을 단축시키고 중합도를 높이기 위해 마이크로웨이브 합성 반응기를 이용하여 중합시켰다. 합성된 고분자는 물리적, 열적, 광학적 및 전기화학적 특성을 확인하였다. 두 고분자의 초기분해온도는 $323-328^{\circ}C$로서 열 안정성이 우수함을 확인하였고, 추가로 alkoxy 사슬을 도입한 P2의 중합도가 더 높았다. 전기화학적 특성을 분석한 결과 두 고분자의 HOMO에너지 레벨은 유사하였다. 합성된 고분자는 ITO/PEDOT:PSS/active layer/$BaF_2$/Al 구조로 소자를 제작하여 유기박막태양전지로의 특성을 확인하였다. 각 소자는 박막의 두께를 다르게 하여 이에 따른 효율의 변화를 확인하였고, 박막의 두께가 얇아질수록 높은 효율을 나타내었다($PCE_{max}:P1=1.0%$, P2 = 1.1%).

  • We reported 94 GHz, low conversion loss, and high isolation single balanced active-gate mixer based on 70 nm gate length InGaAs/InAlAs metamorphic high electron mobility transistors (MHEMTs). This mixer showed that the conversion loss and isolation characteristics were 2.5 ${\sim}$ 2.8 dB and under -30 dB, respectively, in the range of 93.65 ${\sim}$ 94.25 GHz. The low conversion loss of the mixer is mainly attributed to the high-performance of the MHEMTs exhibiting a maximum drain current density of 607 mA/mm, a extrinsic transconductance of 1015 mS/mm, a current gain cutoff frequency ($f_t$) of 330 GHz, and a maximum oscillation frequency ($f_{max}$) of 425 GHz. High isolation characteristics are due to hybrid ring coupler which adopted dielectric-supported air-gapped microstrip line (DAML) structure using surface micromachined technology. To our knowledge, these results are the best performance demonstrated from 94 GHz single balanced mixer utilizing GaAs-based HEMTs in terms of conversion loss as well as isolation characteristics.

음향특성에 따른 태음인 체질병증(體質病證) 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Sasang Constitutional Symptom of Taeumin by Voice Characteristics)

Objectives and Methods This study was done to investigate the relationships of Sound parameters between Liver Heat Symptom and Esophagus Symptom of Taeumin using PSSC(Phonetic System of Sasang Constitution) in a sentence. Experimental Participants were 20 Korean adult males including, each 10 Liver Heat Symptom and Esophagus Symptom of Taeumin. 2. Results In Pitch segment, APQ segment and Shimmer segment, there were no significant differences between Liver Heat Symptom and Esophagus Symptom of Taeumin. In Octave segment, there were significant differences in Octave 1, Octave 3, Octave 4, Octave 6 of Liver Heat Symptom of Taeumin were significantly high compared with Esophagus Symptom of Taeumin. In Energy segment, FreQ Domain Total Sum / cnt(0), 0k-2k Total Sum,0k-2k sum dev., 2k-4k Total Sum, 2k-4k sum dev., A# Tot E, B__TOT_E, C__TOT_E, C# Tot E, D__TOT_E, A sum dev., A# sum dev., B sum dev., C sum dev., C# sum dev., Dsum dev., D# sum dev., E sum dev., F sum dev., F# sum dev., G sum dev., G# sum dev. of Liver Heat Symptom of Taeumin were significantly high compared with Esophagus Symptom of Taeumin. In Voice Recording time segment, Total Voice Recording Time, Voice Recording Time, Divide By Time3, Divide By Energy10, Total Unit, Max Unit Position, U_0 TO 3 of Liver Heat Symptom of Taeumin were significantly high compared with Esophagus Symptom of Taeumin. 3. Conclusion From above result, there is the postbility of efficiency quide constitutional sx. of Taeumin by Voice characteristics. More Soeumin, Soyangin and Taeyangin Symptoms are needed to determine Sasang Constitution using PSSC and to make PSSC effective.

Toxicokinetics of paraquat in Korean patients with acute poisoning

  • To conduct a kinetic study of paraquat (PQ), we investigated 9 patients with acute PQ intoxication. All of them ingested more than 20 ml of undiluted PQ herbicide to commit suicide and arrived at our hospital early, not later than 7 h after PQ ingestion. The urine dithionite test for PQ in all of the nine patients was strongly positive at emergency room. Blood samples were obtained every 30 min for the first 2~3 h and then every 1 or 2 h, as long as the clinical progression was stable among the patients for 30 h after PQ ingestion. The area under the plasma concentration-time curve ($AUC_{inf}$), which was extrapolated to infinity, was calculated using the trapezoidal rule. Toxicokinetic parameters, such as the terminal elimination half-life, apparent oral clearance, and apparent volume of distribution ($V_d/F$) were calculated. The maximum PQ concentration ($C_{max}$) and the time to reach maximum PQ concentration ($T_{max}$) were also obtained. Plasma PQ concentrations in nine patients were well described by a bi-exponential curve with a mean terminal elimination half-life of $13.1{\pm}6.8h$. $C_{max}$ and $AUC_{inf}$ were $20.8{\pm}25.7mg/l$ and $172.5{\pm}160.3h{\cdot}mg/l$, respectively. Apparent volume of distribution and apparent oral clearance were $50.9{\pm}61.3l/kg$ and $173.4{\pm}111.2l/h$, respectively. There were a significant correlation (r=0.84; p<0.05) between the PQ amount ingested and $C_{max}$. $AUC_{inf}$ also showed a significant correlation (r=0.83; p<0.05) with the PQ amount ingested. These correlations provide evidence that PQ has dose-linear toxicokinetic characteristics.

A PANORAMIC VIEW OF THE ASTEROIDS IN THE INNER SOLAR SYSTEM WITH AKARI

  • We constructed an unbiased asteroid catalog from the mid-infrared part of the All-Sky Survey with the Infrared Camera (IRC) on board AKARI. About 20% of the point source events recorded in the IRC All-Sky Survey observations were not used for the IRC Point Source Catalog in its production process because of a lack of multiple detection by position. Asteroids, which are moving objects on the celestial sphere, are included in these "residual events" We identified asteroids out of the residual events by matching them with the positions of known asteroids. For the identified asteroids, we calculated the size and albedo based on the Standard Thermal Model. Finally we had a new brand of asteroid catalog, which contains 5,120 objects, about twice as many as the IRAS asteroid catalog.

APPARENT INWARD MOTION OF THE PARSEC-SCALE JET IN THE BL LAC OBJECT OJ287 DURING THE 2011-2012 γ-ray FLARES

  • We present a kinematic study of the parsec-scale radio jet in OJ 287, one of the most studied BL Lac objects, during ${\gamma}$-ray flares, to explore the relation between parsec-scale radio jet activity and ${\gamma}$-ray emission. The 22-GHz light curve of OJ 287 show three obvious flare events around 2011 May, 2011 October, and 2012 March. The second radio flare occurred during the ${\gamma}$-ray flaring period, and the third radio flare seemed to precede the ${\gamma}$-ray flare by one month. One jet component moved outward with respect to the core component with an apparent superluminal speed (~ 11c) from 2010 November to 2011 November. Then it changed direction, moving apparently inward in 2011 November, when the ${\gamma}$-ray flare occurred. The observed apparent inward motion of the jet at 22 GHz could be caused by a new jet component, unresolved at 22 GHz, in the innermost region.
