  • Purpose: This study aims to set desirable directions for Korea's egg industry by comparing and analyzing the egg distribution structure and policies between Korea and other countries. Research design, data and methodology: We analyzed the current state of egg distribution in Korea, and based on this analysis, we derived problems. In addition, by comprehensively analyzing the egg distribution structure and policy issues in the US, EU, and Japan. Results: As a result of the analysis of the egg distribution status and policy in the country to be analyzed, it was found that for the development of the egg industry in Korea, it is necessary to unify the distribution system for transparent and stable management of the egg distribution process. It was found that detailed and clear information creation and management of egg production and distribution processes were required. Conclusions: We need to establish a regional egg distribution facility base and stipulate that eggs produced in Korea must be compulsorily traded through the regional facility base. Seemingly, scaling-up of the industry is the priority, but the government is promoting various policies to expand small and medium-sized egg joint markets, with limitations in improving the problems of the existing egg distribution structure.

  • The Korean Buddhism during the unified Silla era, was dominated by Huayen doctrine, which was developed by Uisang(義相) (625-702) and his disciples. During 8th century, many Korean monks visited China to study Chan Buddhism(禪). After they came back to Silla, they started to criticize Huayen philosophy as a doctrinal Buddhism (Jiao教). Their criticism depended on Chinese Chan Buddhist teachings. Korean Chan monk Sunji(順之), a 9th century, was different from other Chan monks in Silla who were trained in China. His teachings are found in the volume20 of "Zutangji"(祖堂集). Although it is based on Chan thought, it has many doctrinal explanations and interpretations. The conventional studies could not clearify the basis of his philosophy. As my research revealed, his teachings were based on the Huayen doctrine of Chinese Huayen monk Li Tongxuan(李通玄) who lived in 7th 8th century. One of his doctorine is "San shen yuan jung kwan"(三聖円融観). It means the unify of three Holies(三聖) Vairocana Buddha(毘盧遮那仏), Manjusri Bodhisattva(文殊菩薩), and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva(普賢菩薩). Monk Junshi used this theory in his teachings. As mentioned above, "Sunji Hwasan's teachings" included by the "Zutangji"(祖堂集) volume 20 is important as what offers a new viewpoint when exploring the relationship between the Chan and jiao in Silla in the 9th century.

  • In this manuscript, we formulate the notion of Ω(H, θ)-contraction on a self mapping f : W → W, this contraction based on the concept of Ω-distance mappings equipped on G-metric spaces together with the concept of H-simulation functions and the class of Θ-functions, we employ our new contraction to unify the existence and uniqueness of some new fixed point results. Moreover, we formulate a numerical example and a significant application to show the novelty of our results; our application is based on the significant idea that the solution of an equation in a certain condition is similar to the solution of a fixed point equation. We are utilizing this idea to prove that the equation, under certain conditions, not only has a solution as the Intermediate Value Theorem says but also that this solution is unique.

  • This study was conducted for the purpose of deriving the existing ScienceON elements and reorganizing them to increase user convenience and utilization. Towards this end, implications were derived by analyzing the current status of the ScienceON's website, case studies and analysis of major similar institution websites, and user satisfaction surveys. Based on the derived contents, key terms were analyzed and redefined, the menu system was reorganized, and the menu names were redefined, and the menu system was reorganized to match the direction and identity of the redefined ScienceON. The study results based on such are as follows. First, the ScienceON's brand selection criteria and direction were based on service sustainability, service inclusiveness, recognition of portal characteristics, user friendliness and intuitiveness. Considering the meaning of branding, branding strategy, and selection criteria for ScienceON branding, ScienceON, Ontong ScienceON, ScienceONPlatform, science information portal, ScienceON, Mecca of science and technology information, and 5 brand names such as ScienceON were proposed. Second, to improve accessibility, usability, and satisfaction, it would be necessary to redefine current terms. Towards this end, it would be necessary to change the terminology of knowledge infrastructure search and to unify and organize the terminology. Third, in the current menu, the services provided as analysis services and curation services are organized in the beta service menu, and data such as papers, patents, reports, and trends are also serviced only through integrated search, and hence, each data type and service type classification must be improved.

  • With recent emphasis on evidence based medicine, clinical practice guidelines are seen as a potential mechanism by which unify various managerial and professional approaches to improving the quality of care. The development process of guidelines has been the subject of much research. and it is need translating the medical evidence of research into a clinical practice guidelines. the gathered evidence needs to be interpreted into a clinical, public health, policy, or payment context. The term 'clinical practice guidelines' can evoke a diverse range of responses from healthcare personnel. Clinical practice guidelines are increasingly used in patient management but some clinicians are not familiar with their origin or appropriate applications. Understanding the limitations as well as benefits of CPG could enable clinicians to have clearer view of the place of guidelines in every practice. In the context of increasing complaints and litigation in healthcare, the legal implications of clinical practice guidelines are of increasing importance. Clinical practice guidelines could, in theory, influence the manner in which the courts establish negligence by suggesting the doctor breached the duty of care by failing to provide the required standard of medical care. In several studies, the CPGs were relevent to and played a pivotal role in the proof of negligence. Much depends on the quality of guidelines and the tools developed and the authoritativeness of a guideline. Recently, there are several opinions the court also should review the validity and reliability of expert testimony including medical evidence. and widespread use of guidelines in malpractice lawsuit could lead the physicians to greater compliance with guidelines in the long term. In conclusion, Health care reformers, physicians as well as guidelines developers should understand that guidelines have both medical and legal aspects as a double-edges sword. so clinicians, legal representatives and decision-makers should not defer unduly to guidelines.

  • Objective: Generally, it is known that there is a correlation between excessive calcaneus eversion and a patient with low back pain and it also affects pelvic alignment. However, there are not enough studies that show calcaneal eversion having an effect on the alignment of the trunk. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: A 3-dimensional motion analysis system was used to assess the lower limbs, pelvic alignment, and trunk alignment with increased unilateral and bilateral calcaneal eversion in twenty-one subjects. All subjects were asked to maintain a static posture for seven seconds on a wedge three times per posture for measurement and analysis purposes. The wedge used in the process was a lateral wedge with a 10-degree tilt to the lateral direction. To unify all of the subjects' foot position, the front and inner side of the wedge were marked. The height of the tilted wedge's inner side and flat wedge were balanced equally in order to be able to maintain the lateral part of the foot to the same height when producing an increased calcaneal eversion. Results: Comparing the changes in trunk and pelvic alignment in accordance to calcaneal eversion for each posture, there was a significant different in the X and Y-axis for each posture, but not in the Z-axis (p<0.05). Thus, it can be confirmed that calcaneal eversion in the sagittal plane and frontal plane may have and effect on the pelvis and the trunk. Conclusions: Postures with increased bilateral and unilateral calcaneal eversion has an effect on pelvic alignment, but does not cause any changes in trunk alignment.

  • Objectives : To establish a well organized and systematic oriental medicine classification of headache, the western and oriental medicine diagnosis and treatment systems of headache were reviewed. Methods : The history and development process of western medicine classification of headache were studied. A literature review of oriental medicine classification of headache was done. The characters of each classification systems were assessed. Results : In western medicine, many international societies concerning headache have been established. Through these societies, a classification of headache which can be used by both researchers and practitioners has been suggested. And the suggested classification system is highly recommended to be used in studies in order to increase utilization. As data is accumulated, new versions of the classification system were updated. But in the case of oriental medicine, various classification systems of headache are presented in numerous literatures. But the effort to unify and systemize the oriental medicine headache classification has been in lack. Conclusions : Establishment and utilization of a standardized oriental medicine headache classification system, based on various classifications and detailed descriptions is needed.

  • Dietitians in various fields have used food exchange lists for food preparations. However it seems that the present food exchange lists are complicated, thus they cause many problems for dietitians to use in the fields. Therefore this study evaluated to the extent of awareness and utilizations of KDA food exchange lists in dietitians and also collected dietitian's opinions for revising food exchange lists such as serving size, serving calories, and for unifying food guidelines and dietary and dietary guidelines for Korean to one simple guideline. 192 dietitians who presently work in urban and rural areas were recruited and data based on survey were collected. As results, most of dietitians(87.5%) knew well about food exchange lists, but only 7.8% of them always would use food exchange lists for menu planning, 56.3% of dietitians did not use it at all and 34.4% occasionally use it. And 88.0% of dietitians wanted to revise food exchange lists totally or partially, 69.8% of dietitians hoped to amend various calories per one serving in food exchange lists to one serving calorie. The desirable on serving calorie was selected as 100kcal(51%) or 50kcal(38%) by dietitians. The dietitians in this study understood very well dietary guidelines(86.5%) and food guidelines(88.5%) for Korean, and 66.1% dietitians wanted to unify both guidelines. In case of unification of guidelines, dietitians answered that 7-8 items(30%) or 5-6 items(27%) should be included in guideline. In the question about reference value for daily allowance, most dietitians(56%) satisfied with the present various reference values for various generation while 28% of dietitians wanted to change to have one reference value (standard with 2000kcal, adult female). This study will provide basic informations for revising or adjustment of food exchange list and dietary or food guidelines for Korean.

  • Although chemical substances have greatly contributed to prosperous human life and industrial development and made a great contribution to humanity, some dangerous substances are harmful to health and the environment. Thus, so long ago developed countries have also established strict safety standards. Korea is growing into a major chemical market, accounting for 3.4% of the global chemical market. The domestic laws related to chemical substances are similar to foreign countries, but there are many differences in detail, posing a lot of risks to safety, health and the environment as well as causing many problems in industry. In order to improve these problems, this study carried out to unify the domestic chemical law and the international standardization system (GHS) and to solve the trade barriers in the export and import by industry. In addition, researchers proposed a unified approach to classification and division of physical hazards, as advanced as developed nations, as a basis for prevention and response to accidents in dangerous goods.
