Static Analysis Method of Android-specific Problems through Java and Xml Mutual Analysis (자바와 XML 상호 분석을 통한 안드로이드 특화 문제점의 정적 분석 방법)

  • In recent years, as smartphones with Android platforms expand, the number of Android applications increases. Android applications implement Java and XML to compose the user interface, among other things. Between Java and XML, various problems may occur. Nonetheless, static analysis research and tools are not sufficient. In this paper we will list the problems which may occur between Java and XML. Subsequently, we will propose a detection method for them. Using the proposed technique, we found 172 Android-specific problems and 35 performance drop issues in 150 Android applications in the Google Play Store. We would like to contribute to research into static analysis and software quality improvement.

  • 이 논문에서는 CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access)셀룰러 시스템에서 우선순위 큐(Queue)에 기반을 둔 핸드오프채널할당기법의 모델을 제안하였다. 또한 제안한 모델의 성능을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 비우선순위기법 및 FIFO(First In First Out)큐기법과 비교하였다. 제안하는 모델의 핸드오프 채널할당 기법에서는 이동국의 진행방향에 있는 인접 셀(Neighbor Cell)의 파일롯 중에서 임계치가 T-ADD 이상인 파일롯이 있을 경우 기지국이 이 파일롯(Pilot)에 대한 파일롯 세기 측정메시지를 이동국으로부터 수신 한 지점에서 드롭타이머가 종료된후 현재의 셀에서 사용중인 파일롯에 대한 파일롯 세기 측정 메시지를 이동국으로부터 수신한 시점까지 핸드오프 처리가능 영역으로 정의하고 이를 우선순위 큐의 최대큐 대기시간으로 사용하였다. 제안된 기법의 성능을 분석하기 위한 성능평가 척도는 강조종료확률, 호 블록킹 확률, 전체 제공 트래픽에 대한 수행 트래픽 비율, 평균 규크기미치 핸드오프 시 평균 지연시간이다. 성능시뮬레이션결과, 제안된 기법이 전체 시스템 호처리 용량면에서 약간의 단점은 발생하지만 핸드오프 처리에 있어서 높은 성능을 유지함을 알수 있었다.

Measurement Uncertainty calculation for improving test reliability of Agricultural tractor ROPS Test (농업용트랙터 ROPS 시험의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 측정불확도 추정)

  • The agricultural tractor ROPS test method according to OECD code 4 is a test to assess whether the driver's safety area can be secured when a tractor overturns, and reliability should be ensured. In this study, a model formula and procedure for calculating measurement uncertainty expressing reliability in the field of agricultural machinery testing were established according to the ISO/IEC Guide 98-3:2008. The characteristics of the ROPS test device were assessed and repeated tests were performed, and the were used as factors to calculate the measurement uncertainty. As a result of repeated tests, the accuracy was higher than 1.9 % in all load directions; thus, they were, applied to calculate the type A standard uncertainty. The final expanded uncertainty was calculated within the range of less than ± 7.76 kN of force and ± 6.96 mm of deformation in all load directions.

Impacts of the calcination temperature on the structural and radiation shielding properties of the NASICON compound synthesized from zircon minerals

  • The present work aims to fabricate Na1+xZr2SixP3-xO12 compound at various calcination temperatures based on the zircon mineral. The fabricated compound was calcinated at 250, 500, and 1000℃. The effect of calcination temperature on the structure, crystal phase, and radiation shielding properties was studied for the fabricated compound. The X-ray diffraction diffractometer demonstrates that, the monoclinic crystal phase appeared at a calcination temperature of 250℃ and 500℃ is totally transformed to a high-symmetry hexagonal crystal phase under a calcination temperature of 1000℃. The radiation shielding capacity was also qualified for the fabricated compounds using the Monte Carlo N-Particle transport code in the g-photons energy interval between 15keV and 122keV. The impacts of calcination temperature on the g-ray shielding behavior were clarified in the present study, where the linear attenuation coefficient was enhanced by 218% at energy of 122keV, when the calcination temperature increased from 250 to 1000℃, respectively.

Similarity Relationship between Basic Species of the Oak by the Numerical Method (수치분석(數値分析)에 의(依)한 참나무 기본종(基本種)의 유연관계(類緣關係))

  • In order to prove the similarity relationships between the basic species of oak through Electronic Data Processing System(EDPS) and numerical analysis, The analized species and datas were selected from the list of morphological observation in the thesis of T.B. Lee, 1961, "Phytogenetic study of the subgenus Lepidobalanus of the genus Quercus in Korea", and were coded by categories shown in Table 1. The value in the list were transformed into hundred percentage to standardize the observational value by each code into dimensionless. The similarity index between species were computed through formula of non-metric coefficient, $N_{jk}=\sum\limits_{i=1}^{n}\(\frac{{\mid}x_{ij}-x_{ik}{\mid}}{x_{ij}+x_{ik}}\)$, using the UNiVAC-1106, at National Computer Center. Quercus aliena, by analysis result, is most similar to Q. mongolica with the similarity index, 71.6 and Q. dentata is most far apart from Q. serrata in the relationship with index, 121.4. The above thesis of Professor, T. Lee, are closely similar with the result of this research study. But, their similar relationship are proved in quantity through numerical method in our research study. In addition, The relationships among Q. mongolica, Q. aliena and Q. serrata are found to be very similar, but Q. dentata to be enough far in similarity to other species by dendrogram shown at Fig. 1. The numerical classification through EDPS is found to be suitable method also applicable to the plant taxonomy.

Evaluation of Scatter Reduction Effect of the Aft-Multiple-Slit (AMS) System Using MC Simulation (MC 시뮬레이션을 이용한 Aft-Multiple-Silt 시스템의 산란선 제거 효과 평가)

  • Purpose: We designed the aft-multiple-slit (AMS) system to reduce scatter in cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). As a preliminary study, we performed a Monte Carlo N-Particle Transport Code (MCNP) simulation to verify the effectiveness of this system. Materials and Methods: The MCNPX code was used to build the AMS geometry. An AMS is an equi-angled arc to consider beam divergence. The scatter-reduced projection images were compared with the primary images only and the primary plus scatter radiation images with and without AMS to evaluate the effectiveness of scatter reduction. To obtain the full 2 dimensional (2D) projection image, the whole AMS system was moved to obtain closed septa of the AMS after the first image acquisition. Results: The primary radiation with and without AMS is identical to all the slit widths, but the profiles of the primary plus scattered radiation varied according to the slit widths in the 2D projection image. The average scatter reduction factors were 29%, 15%, 9%, and 8% when the slit widths were 5 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm, and 20 mm, respectively. Conclusion: We have evaluated the scatter reduction effect of the AMS in CBCT imaging using the Monte Carlo (MC) simulations. A preliminary study based on the MCNP simulations showed a mount of scatter reduction with the proposed system.

Prevalence of Emergency Traumatic Injuries in 100 Wild Boar Hunting Dogs (100마리의 야생 멧돼지 사냥견에서 응급 외상성 질환의 분류)

  • To investigate patterns and severity of hunting-related emergency traumatic injuries in wild boar hunting dogs. One hundred wild boar hunting dogs with emergency traumatic injuries sustained during wild boar hunting as a result of wild boar attack and accidental shooting of ensnarement in a trap. The retrospective study involved 100 dogs brought to CAMC for treatment of emergency traumatic injury sustained during wild boar hunting in Jeon-buk province from August 2007 to April 2008. Medical information obtained from the medical records included signalment; cause of injury; number, location and severity of injuries; and mortality. The 100 patients displayed 136 injuries (single injury in 71 dogs and multiple injuries in 29 dogs). Causes of the emergency traumatic injuries were wild boar attack (n = 92), accidental shooting (n = 7), and entrapment (n = 1). The thoracic area was the most common site of injury. The most common injury severity score (ISS) was code 2. The mortality rate was 9%, and all deaths involved thoracic injury. Emergency traumatic injuries sustained during wild boar hunting are most commonly thoracic injuries caused by prey attack. The nature of the injuries can differ from those typically encountered by small animal veterinarians.

Cloning and Characterization of dnaK Heat Shock Protein Gene in a Halotolerant Cyanobacterium (내염성 cyanobacteria로 부터 danK heat shock protein 유전자의 cloning 및 특성 해명)

  • A gene, dnaK2, encoding a distinct member of the HSP70 family of molecular chaperones is isolated from the halotolerant cyanobactrium Aphanothece halophytica. The dnak2 gene encodes a molecular wight of 68 kDa polypeptide with predicted 616 amino acid residues. The DnaK2 protein has a structural characteristic of bacterial DnaK homologues and shows high similarity to other HSP70/Dank proteins. The danK2 transcripts are hardly detectable at 28$^{\circ}C$ and strongly induced upon heat stress. It is also found that dnaK2 transcript is increased by high-salinity stress even in the absence of heat stress. These results suggest that the DnaK2 protein plays an important role in protecting A. halophytica against damage caused by salt stress at well as heat stress.

NEP-AKARI: EVOLUTION WITH REDSHIFT OF DUST ATTENUATION IN 8 ㎛ SELECTED GALAXIES

  • We built a $8{\mu}m$ selected sample of galaxies in the NEP-AKARI field by defining 4 redshift bins with the four AKARI bands at 11, 15, 18 and 24 microns (0.15 < z < 0.49, 0.75 < z < 1.34, 1.34 < z < 1.7 and 1.7 < z < 2.05). Our sample contains 4079 sources, 599 are securely detected with Herschel/PACS. Also adding ultraviolet (UV) data from GALEX, we fit the spectral energy distributions using the physically motivated code CIGALE to extract the star formation rate, stellar mass, dust attenuation and the AGN contribution to the total infrared luminosity ($L_{IR}$). We discuss the impact of the adopted attenuation curve and that of the wavelength coverage to estimate these physical parameters. We focus on galaxies with a luminosity close the characteristic $L^*_{IR}$ in the different redshift bins to study the evolution with redshift of the dust attenuation in these galaxies.

The Development of Air-kerma Strength Calculation Algorithm in Terms of the Absorbed Dose to Water for HDR Ir-192 Source (기준점에서의 물 흡수선량을 이용한 Ir-192 선원의 공기커마 세기 계산을 위한 알고리즘 개발)

  • The aim of this study was to develop the calculation algorithm of source strength of Ir-192 source In terms of the absorbed dose to water instead of an apparent activity (Ci). For this work the Multi Purpose Brachytherapy Phantom(MPBP) was developed, which was designed to locate the source and the chamber precisely at a specific position Inside the water phantom. The reference point of measurement was set at the 5 cm distance along the transverse axis of the source. For a brachytherapy source calibration, the absorbed dose to water calibration factor ($N_{D.W.Q}$) of an lonization chamber were determined and then apply standard protocols of absorbed dose to water. The calibration factor ($N_{D.W.Q}$) of the ion chamber (TM30013, PTW, Germany) was determined using the EGSnrcCPP Monte Carlo Code. The calculated calibration factor ($N_{D.W.Q}$) was 5.28 cGy/nC. The calculated factor was then used to determine the absorbed dose to water from which the air kerma strength for an Ir-192 source can be easily derived at the reference point (5 cm). The calculated air kerma strength showed discrepancies of -0.6% to +1.8% relative to the air kerma strength provided by the vendor, In this work we demonstrated that the air kerma strength ($S_k$) could be determined from the absorbed dose to water calibration factor for Ir-192 source. In audition, this source calibration method could be applied directly to the dose Calculation formalism of AAPM report TG-43.
