At the threshold of the 21st century People have been exploring the future of each field. Accordingly In the area of housing the increase in income level and high-technology development facilitated full scale research on the future housing. The purpose of this research is to try to set up a systematic theory on the future housing by investigating theoretical backgrounds of the future housing and development of the future housing planning concept, A document research method was used to analyze the development of the future housing planning concept of three periods from its origin in the 19th century to present : the burgeoning period growing period and maturing period. In particulary this research examines development of the future housing planning concept from the 19th century in which future housing planning concept was emerged to the early part of the 20th century: the burgeoning period. The future housing planning concepts of this period are analyzed as follows ; In order to solve the social problems arising in the process of the Industrial Revolution, the concept such as ; "ideal city", "high rise apartment housing" and "industrialized housing" was formulated. housing" was formulated.ated.

There can be two definitions of modern ideal medical surroundings. One is medical services satisfied patients' with their desire and the other is places suited to remedy realized by rational operation. Particularly, in case of dental service, there is a need for an effective regard of moving lines and there are many rooms for a dental service belonged to a curer and not a curer. So a design has been developed by many concerns. flow do we proffer more familiar and comfortable places to both a curer and not a cuter. Nowadays, the design is making progress to the unprecedented and up-to-date direction. I would suggest a general plan used by a nature of an original art for this design. The design used by a nature between human beings and things is able to induce comforts and intimacies. So to speak, I would like to remove artificial design and keep up organic lines, shapes and forms of a nature like it is. This study grasps the organizational limitation of this design and the visual characteristic of organic forms used by harmonious image of a nature and a new way is applied to limited medical places, a dental service, based on the study. Also, I'm go to examine the meaning and worth of a new design and suggest the direction of it.

The elementary school classroom is a space where children spend a long time during the day, during the six years of childhood, in which children are emotionally sensitive and emotionally important. Therefore, it is necessary to create a classroom that can develop emotions considering the developmental characteristics of children. However, the elementary school classroom in Korea has less change in the classroom envir- onment than in the rapidly changing curriculum, and classrooms and furniture considering emotional development are hard to find. Therefore, this study suggests the necessity of improvement for classroom furniture of elementary school, presents problem and consideration condition of present classroom furniture by analyzing the present condition of elementary school classroom in Korea and child development characteristic of school age, and proposes the improvement direction through analyzing domestic and foreign classroom furniture products. To do this, we checked the physical and developmental characteristics of children ages 8 to 13, confirmed the use of the classroom furniture in 10 schools located in Seoul, Gye- onggi and Incheon, analyzed the problems of these furniture, compared and analyzed the shape, material, and color of the products of 32 domestic companies teaching tools manufacturers focusing on desks, chairs, lockers, and teaching aid box that are commonly used in classrooms. Through this, this study provided basic data for the selection of ideal classroom furniture in the future.

Contemporary society is a digital and information-oriented society and a change by digital and information-oriented has made a new society principle and creature. The principle and creature has made society changed having influence on office space. The 21st century business space attachs great importance to the public space as the value of work place, namely, the place of gathering and client meeting which is society space and a thing which grants it with the biggest investment worth is a new order. This kind of society change has been making an appearance in contemporary office space as features of Narrative, Nodal, Neighbourly, Nomadic. These kinds of trends which are not exclusive mutually are stipulated as new trials to business space holding a lot of overriding features in common. These kinds of features brought into relief according to society change can be seen as key words speaking for contemporary office space and have a significance to contemplate and study for the office space of a new concept made an appearance together with society change. It is expected to contribute to revitalization programs with the far-reaching effect of understanding about ideal office work circumstances and work shape which the 21st century wants standing on the features of these new concepts.

According to the OECD Report, Korea passed the first threshold to an "aging society" in which the elderly aged over 65 make up at least 7 percent of the population in 2000, and in 2018, are due to pass the second to an "aged society" in which they make up at least 14 percent-just 18 years later. It took France (starting in 1864) 115 years to complete this transition. Even Japan, legendary for the rapidity of its aging, required 24 years. It means Korea has to prepare for the aging of its population within a very short time without mistakes. Meanwhile, in a 2005 survey of the elderly, 85.5% of them preferred aging in place to moving to elderly care facilities. That means housing planning for the elderly which provides them with independent living needs to be considered seriously. The digital technology integrated home may be one of the alternatives to support this idea. In order to find a way to user oriented digital homes for the elderly, this study identified the their needs on the physical features of the ideal home and the digital services necessary through digital life scenarios.

Nowadays, the government, nongovernmental organizations, and educational institutions have come up with a variety of policies and objectives which are concerned about the importance of public design in the city. The project for integrated street environment in Sung-Nam at this time has started with the purpose to make the citizens' life safer and wealthier, and the purpose to improve the image of the nation. In the process of modernization, we must realize the overlooked problem(the thoughtless development for the environment and the threatening of the identity about the disagreed value and esthetic sense.) as our problem. We have focused on the suggestion of the road facilities suitable for urbanization which coincides with the quiet city and the global standards rather than pursuing the local growth and meaning. Based on the New Governance Design, we have presented the liberal design process which actively accepts the experts in a variety of fields. With the language of design, 'high-tech, self-restraint, and growth', we have made a homogeneous urban factor which is ideal for time and space.

Taliesin West is a meaningful historic site in architecture field, because its place had still been existing only one in the world as a ideal architectural community for working and living as well as learning by doing for Taliesin Fellowships and others based on F. L. Wright's idea of Organic Architecture. The main purpose of this study was to follow up the architectural thought and its construction shown in F. L. Wright's 'Taliesin West'. A study on the key notes are as follows; 1) The key-clue of the construction background for Taliesin West was based on the project of 'Complex Campus Building' which was early planed by F. L. Wright. 2) A basic design idea for Taliesin West was admiring from its own site characters as well as the Experimental construction methods and materials. 3) Design motive of Taliesin West was based on American Indian's movable shelter which called 'Tepee.' 4) A construction of F. L. Wright's temporary studio, Ocotilla, was a good opportunity to construct for Taliesin West which construction methods, covered and framed, were same as Ocotilla. 5) A concept idea of the master plan for Taliesin West came from combining Taliesin's Hillside Home School and Complex Campus Building project. 6) Construction of Taliesin West was a final accomplished place as F. L. Wright's utopia architecture and community.

The renaissance architects had considered perspective system as accurate tool for the visual representation, but Palladio did not agree with this belief and demonstrated that it is a system based on optical illusionism. On the base of this faith, he created another optical illusion system can be called 'scenographic space'. But the remainder of his works reveals many perspective installations mobilized as well as it. In this context, this study aimed to analyze the meaning and usage of these two space composition systems in the Palladio's architecture. For the purpose of it, a preliminary study examine the background of his idea and make a comparative analysis between the two systems, and then finally analyze the concrete works in compliance with the building types. And then, this study comes to the following conclusion. The scenographic space create the cognition of discontinuity which was produced by the perceptual mask perpendicular to the subject's eye. In opposition to it, the perspective techniques join the space between the subject and his outer world. In result, the viewer lost or attach his attention on the connection between the real and the virtual, the secular and the divine, and the inside and the outside. Palladio applied these two illusion systems to all types of his architecture. By means of it, he could achieve the desire of his patrons and reconstruct the classical architecture of the late renaissance age.

This Study is about the tradition of Organic Medievalism expressed in Modern Architecture. The concept of Medievalism is an attitude to revive the social and physical settings on the Middle Ages. The Organic Medievalism in Modern Architecture was to be explained as the two tendencies; one was toward the rational structural logic of the medieval architecture being re-interpreted into the Modern Architecture and the other was toward the organic and fantastic shape of the Modern Architecture, closely connected with nature-friendly and organic shape of medieval city and buildings. The structural logic of the medieval architecture became systematized by the French architects, Viollet-le-Duc and Auguste Choisy. The principle has been applied to the design of the Art Nouveau, Louis Kahn and so-called the High-Tech Architecture creating the aesthetics of its own by exposing the building structure. The other was used as the elements to represent the characteristics of the Art Nouveau architects, and then served as the background of the creation of the avant-garde architecture of Germany. The ideal has been serving as the great idealistic fundamentals by the so-called Archigram and Deconstruction at the late half of the 20th century.
