Character industry in Korea has a history of less than 20 years by now, as it began in earnest at the end of the 1980s. Domestic character market is estimated to be around 1.2 trillion won occupying mere 0.01% of the world character market of 1,200 trillion won and less than 4% of the Japanese market, according to the according to the calculation made by Korea Animation Producers Association. Local character takes up only 5% of the domestic character market, necessitating the development of the local character and an increase in market share. It is painful to look at the current status of the local character market especially when compared with the huge world market. However, it might be and opportune moment for us to reverse the situation in our favor by a mental switchover. And we need to face up to the reality that the local character industry has many problems, and it is our duty to settle them. What then are the problems caused by the foreign character taking up 90% of the domestic market? Foreign character overwhelming the local market will bring about cultural dependency, emotional confusion, and financial loss caused by the payment of the royalties stemming from the intellectual property rights. The following is suggested as methods of settlement for such problems: 1. Development of character emotionally appealing to the Koreans 2. Development of long-lived character 3. Development of character firmly based on a good scenario 4. Thorough planning & marketing 5. Establishing an institution exclusively governing character business This study discussed the importance of developing long-lived character appealing not only to the Koreans but also to the whole world, that will meet the requirements as stated in 1 & 2 of above. For this purpose Chungmugong General Lee Soon-shin was chosen out of the Korean historical personages for further analysis, trying to rediscover the significance of the character development based on originality.

Each life has its own properties that distinguish one another. With this property, Oriental medicine suggests original diagnosis and treament. Our process of aging shows typical outline of cycle, i. e. from one's birth to death. Understanding the life cycle of men gives us very good hint to predict one's state of health, possible diseases, characteristics of disease in each term of his/her life cycle. It's because body and mode of diseases change according to age. Aging starts when $\breve{U}$m Essence(陰精)-the essence one receive from parents-dries up or when Deficient Fire(虛火) soars. Parts that compose our body-bones, muscles, flesh, etc.-gradually weaken and worn out as they no longer get support from Yang-Ki(陽氣), In "Yellow Emperor's Classic", aging starts around one's forties when $\breve{U}$m Essence(陰精) is reduced to less than half. However, what is usually accepted is that women start aging from 49 and men 64, regarding significant geriatric disease. As it is mentioned, aging starts with exhaustion of $\breve{U}$m Essence(陰精) which results in soaring Deficient Fire. Main symptoms are weak mental state due to Sin(神) disorder, and weak physical state due to Spleen and Stomacn(脾胃) disorder. Main principle in treating and preventing diseases related to aging is preserving $\breve{U}$m Essence(陰精), as well as fortifying Ki and Blood(氣血). To do this, Lung(肺)-which collects $\breve{U}$m Essence(陰精), and Kidney(腎) stores-which stores $\breve{U}$m Essence(陰精).

Blockchain technology, which enables transparent transactions among individuals without central control, opens up diverse business possibilities. It is also expected that blockchain will have a ripple effect on the entire area of society including finance, manufacturing, distribution, and the public sector. Previous studies related to the blockchain also deals with its functional features and application to industrial and public fields. In the new technology such as blockchain, it is necessary to know what social perception is in order to create technological development environment, but there is a lack of research on it. Therefore, this study aims to find out the implications for industrial and policy direction by analyzing issues related to the blockchain in South Korea and the US through text mining. From these two countries, we collected text data related to blockchain in online communities and internet articles. Then, we did co-occurrence analysis and topic modeling on them respectively. As a result of this study, we have found common points and differences in keywords and topics extracted from social media in the two countries. Based on them, we can offer helpful suggestions for building a sound blockchain ecosystem, and directions for future research.

This research is about global investment for managing the important position, what Korea is doing in World's main market. Considering there are some differences between developed countries' model and developing countries' model in doing direct overseas investment, they target to get political agreement and develop the new invest plan and strategy by understanding changes of Korean manufacturing companies in direct overseas investment between 2000 and 2007 and analyzing the change of yearly investment motivation factors and determining factors for investment. The result from this result let us know that company should develop their own idea for their competitive advantage by doing direct overseas investment with the existing theory which convinces the need of competitive advantage for investing overseas. I set actual model and analyze results from it with the considering that it is so important to get knowledge and information for globalizing companies to invest overseas and companies, which want to be world leading ones for their field through innovation and changes, need to have more active strategy. And, the overseas investment, which was already done in other countries, 1. Review its realities and tendency in terms of investing countries, investing industries, and its scale. 2. Set up an actual model, based on strategic combination of investing location select and determination of Korean manufacturing companies and yearly investing factor-effect analysis. 3. Analyze how the situational factors have influenced and what factors would be considered for direct overseas investment. From the analyzing result, even though it is fairly true that raising wage and getting resources, avoiding customs, and developing alternating industries for export had influenced at the beginning, overseas investing companies' policy will be influenced by the results from studying marketing-pursuit type, which emphasizes to manage trade income and outgo, keeping the balance in the black, ensuring raw materials, local producing and manufacturing by using low-wage people for local sale, and situation for changing investing tendency as service industry.

This stud tires to present a general picture about Alessandro Mendini's unique idea of redesign. One of Italian post-war redical architect and designer mendini gives us a special opportunity to appreciate the social cultural and political context where the post-war Italian design lies. Also known as "banal design" Mendin's design revolutionized the way in which we practice utilize and think about design itself. It is my opinion that the idea of his redesign can be best understood when we consider the social contest of Italian design. Unlike that of other European countries post-war Italian design gave special emphasis on how design can or should be more than a simple activity of making aesthetic or industrial products. In terms of these possibilities Mendini was never optimistic : today we are completely controlled by dehumanized mass production and it is impossible for design to take a special role for a social change Then Mendini's pessimism is bound up with the spirit of this age widely known as postmodernism. Even though Mendini himself never characterized his design as postmodern it is not difficult to identify various postmodern elements in his idea and practice of redesign. Thus in the final section of this study I shall investigate the postmodern elements in this design and furthermore such an idea as what makes Mendini postmodern.

본 논문에서 우리는 앙드레 바쟁이 제시한 영화에서의 리얼리즘 개념이 무엇인지 밝혀보고자 했다. 이를 위해 우리는 그의 영화비평을 중심으로 사실주의에 대한 기나긴 탐구과정을 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 우리는 다른 어느 매체보다 모방적 성격이 강한 영화매체가 자칫 예술이 아닌 자극적인 모방 기술로 전락하지 않을까 하는 그의 깊은 우려를 읽게 된다. 사진이나 영화가 처음 등장했을 때 사람들은 그 예술적 가치를 깨닫기 이전에 눈앞의 장면을 단순히 저장하거나 자극적인 장면을 모방하며 손쉽게 돈을 버는데 관심을 기울여왔다. 이렇듯 바쟁은 사실의 단순한 모방에서 비롯된 값싼 쾌감이 자본주의 논리와 결탁될 때 영화는 종속적인 매체로 전락하며 인간의 가치를 말할 수 없이 떨어뜨리게 된다는 점을 경고하고 있다. 따라서 그는 영화는 고유한 언어로써의 다양한 추상적 표현을 활용함으로써 단순한 모방적 차원을 넘어서야 한다고 주장한다. 이러한 바쟁의 리얼리즘에 대한 논의는 시각적 쾌감을 통해 자본주의 논리를 극단적으로 몰아붙이는 오늘날, 영화의 진정한 리얼리즘의 가치가 휴머니즘을 세우는 데 얼마나 중요한 의미가 있는지를 되새기고 있다는 점에서 그 의미가 있다.

Background: The clinical course of individual chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is highly variable and clinical staging systems do not help us to predict if and at what rate there will be disease progression in an individual patient diagnosed with early stage disease. Recently, several important observations related to other prognostic factors including lymphocyte doubling time (LDT), ${\beta}_2$-microglobulin (${\beta}_2$-MG), and percent of smudge cell in peripheral blood smears, cytogenetic and molecular analysis have been made. The aim of this study was to evaluate a range of prognostic factors in our CLL patients. Design and methods: Seventy patients with CLL were enrolled. Prognostic factors of disease including Binet staging, LDT, ${\beta}_2$-MG, ESR, LDH, percent of smudge cell in peripheral blood smear, absolute lymphocyte count, and conventional cytogenetic (CC) analysis were evaluated at diagnosis, and the patients were followed up to determine their outcome. We compared factors with each other and with Binet staging and prognosis. Results: Enrolled patients aged 37-85 years at diagnosis or during follow up. There was no relationship between serum LDH level (P=0.3), ESR (P=0.11), percent of smudge cells in peripheral blood smear (P=0.94), and absolute lymphocyte count (P=0.18) with the stage of disease and prognosis, but the ${\beta}_2$ macroglobulin level (p<0.0001), LDT (p<0.001) had direct and significant relation with staging and outcome. In 19% of patients cytogenetic alteration were seen. Conclusion: The detection of cytogenetic alteration only using the CC method is not sufficient and we need to use FISH, but because FISH study is an expensive method not available in all areas, instead we believe that ${\beta}_2$ MG can be applied in its place as a good prognostic factor for CLL at diagnosis and during follow up. We suggest to add it to Binet staging for prognostic subgrouping of CLL.

The European Union has an active rural development policy because this helps us to achieve valuable goals for our countryside and for the people who live and work there. Rural development policy involves the cofinancing by the EU and Member States of a variety of measures. Member States decide on the most appropriate measures for their rural areas from a menu of measures proposed at EU level. There are 18 Leader+ programs in Spain. Program supports Local Action Groups which are located in two or more autonomous regions. The Valle del Jerte, located in the northwest of the province of Caceres is one of the districts making up what is known as the Alta Extremadura. The rural development strategy in this area is to overcome the great deficits of the rural world, prevent rural exodus by improving the quality of life of the population,and improve the soicoeconomic environment of the district in order to help create jobs and improve family incomes. Specifically they try to create a mechanism to improve involvement, communication and social cohesion in the district, with a view to improving the internal structure of organizations and establishing rural channels for cooperation between district institutions for integrated development of the district.

들뢰즈의 철학은 넓게는 서양사상 전체를 지배해 온 플라톤주의와의 대결이며, 좁게는 표상적 사유 및 재현적 예술과의 대결이라는 것은 널리 알려져 있다. 다시 말하자면 들뢰즈가 그의 사상 전체에 걸쳐서 가장 중요하게 생각한 것은 재현의 관점이 아닌 비재현적 관점에서 사유하는 것, 그리고 사유를 그것의 재현적 이미지로부터 해방시키는 것이었음은 분명하다. 들뢰즈가 어떻게 표상(재현)을 비판하고, 그것을 통하여 어떻게 근대적 사유를 극복하는 지를 살펴보는 것은, 단순히 플라톤주의의 유산을 청산한다는 의미를 넘어서 동일성의 사유에 묶여 전체주의 사고의 노예로 전락한 현대인들의 모습을 직시하고 그러한 모습을 극복하여 유목적 사유, 해방적 사유로 나아가는데 필수적이기 때문이다. 들뢰즈의 다양한 차원에서 이루어진 재현에 대한 비판을 본 논문에서는 모두 살펴보지 않고, 범위를 좁혀서 그의 회화론을 통하여 어떻게 전개되고 있는지, 그리고 그것이 우리에게 어떤 의미를 가지는지 살펴보려는데 본 논문의 목적이 있다. '철학이란 무엇인가'라는 질문에 대하여 들뢰즈는 "철학이란 개념들을 형성하고, 창안하고, 만드는 기술"이라고 명쾌하게 답하고 있다. 이러한 용어 중에는 '형상(figure)'이 있다. 본고에서는 특히 "감각의 논리"에서 사용되고 있는 '형상'개념을 정리하고, 그 발전과정을 추적하면서, 이를 바탕으로 그 개념이 들뢰즈의 재현에 대한 비판적 사유의 흐름 속에서 어떤 함의를 갖는지 살펴보려고 한다.

As the Western technologies have been introduced to our culture since the modern age. We have uncritically accepted Japanese style terminology for new things without reflection on the relations of concept, language and fact. Concept is the basis of human thinking and also a criterion of distinguishing what we see and hear. Thus, establishment of concept and naming are important once new technologies or objects are created. In the study, we will take automobile terminology which is relatively familiar to us for example in order to explain the importance of naming. We will reflect our reality where the Japanese style terminology and English style terminology for the automobile components and structures are mixed up and urge the need of establishing the easier terminology. Reorganizing the terminology is also important but automotive engineers and linguists need to work together on ways to translate the terminology into easier ones for common people.
