  • 본 논문에서는 화물 트럭과 같은 상용차의 에코 드라이빙 지원을 위한 OBU 단말 장치를 설계하였다. 제안한 OBU 장치는 하이패스 요금징수 기능과 에코 드라이빙 기능이 융합된 장치이다. 제안한 OBU 장치의 성능을 확인하기 위해서 실 도로에서 테스트 주행을 수행하였다.

  • 본 논문은 원패스 태그를 기반으로한 위치인식 시스템 구현하였다. 본 시스템은 ZigBee 및 RFID기술을 접목하였다. 위치인식 수신기와 중계기를 통해 사용자의 위치를 파악하고 관리할 수 있는 솔루션을 개발하였다. 주차의 위치 및 차량의 출입, 출입관리 자동화, 비상호출을 통한 보안성 강화, 엘리베이터의 자동호출 및 통제 등에 대한 위치인식 솔루션 기능을 포함하고 있다.

  • 기존의 대부분 웹기반 문항평가시스템의 경우 CGI나 자바 스트립트를 이용한 너무나 순차적이며 제한된 평가문항들만 제시함으로써 학습에 흥미도가 떨어지고 학습자 주도의 창의적인 학습을 저해하는 요인이 되었다. 본 논문에서는 저작도구 PASS2000의 웹연동 방법을 통하여 학습자가 보다 흥미를 느끼고 학습자 수준에 적합한 동적인 다양한 형태의 평가문항 제시와 학습자가 제시된 문항에 대한 학습후에는 자동채점이 가능하며 즉각적인 결과확인이 가능하도록 하였다. 아울러 학습한 평가문항들을 문항평가지 형태로 출력하여 지속적이고 반복적인 개별화 학습을 할 수 있도록 하였다. 이는 장차 보편화될 원격교육시스템에서 학생들의 학습이해능력을 평가할 수 있는 원격 웹기반 문항평가시스템을 구현하여, 언제 어디서나 시간과 공간의 제한을 받지 않고 학습할 수 있는 체제가 되도록 하는데 있다.

  • The heat exchange part in a modern multi-type air-conditioning system employs multiple-pass heat exchangers. The heat-transfer performance of an each pass in such an exchanger depends strongly on the length of the two-phase region and the mass flow of the refrigerant. The total length and diameters of the pipes, the exit conditions, and the arrangement of each pass as well as the geometrical shape of the distributor at the branching sections are considered to be major factors affecting the heat-transfer performance. The refrigerant commonly used in these systems is HCFC-22. The two objectives of this paper are to investigate the characteristics of the refrigerant flow rate and the superheat in the evaporator of a multi-type air-conditioning system for a single or simultaneous operating conditions and to control the superheat and the refrigerant flow rate of the evaporator.

  • Korea Peninsula is exposed to landslide problems because large regions of Korea are composed of mountain. As a result, we have a great loss of life and property every year, such as road, bridge, and building. However, conventional survey has many restrictions of time and man power. In recent days, instead of field surveying, remote sensing has our attention for detecting damaged place. Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) provides the all-weather capability and complements information available. And through the 2-pass DInSAR technique, we can measure even very small displacement effect. In this study, we generated six interferograms of Kangwondo between 1992 and 1998, and estimated the vulnerable place for landslide.

다단인발공정에서 후미인장응력이 중심파괴에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Back Tension in Multi-pass Drawing on the Central Bursting Defect)

  • In this paper, the effect of back tension in multi-pass drawing or wiredrawing on the central bursting defect is investigated using finite element predictions. A rigid-plastic finite element method was used together with the McClintock damage model. Central bursting defects under different back tension stress values ranging from 0% to 20% of the yield strength of the material were predicted and they were compared to understand the effect of the back tension stress values on the central bursting defect. It is found that the level of back tension has a strong influence on the cumulative damage. Thus, higher back tension raises the possibility of the central bursting defect occurring, even though it decreases the interfacial pressure between the die and the work piece.

An Active Contour Approach to Extract Feature Regions from Triangular Meshes

  • We present a novel active contour-based two-pass approach to extract smooth feature regions from a triangular mesh. In the first pass, an active contour formulated in level-set surfaces is devised to extract feature regions with rough boundaries. In the second pass, the rough boundary curve is smoothed by minimizing internal energy, which is derived from its curvature. The separation of the extraction and smoothing process enables us to extract feature regions with smooth boundaries from a triangular mesh without user's initial model. Furthermore, smooth feature curves can also be obtained by skeletonizing the smooth feature regions. We tested our algorithm on facial models and proved its excellence.

  • Cu-Ni-Zr-Ti bulk amorphous thin strips were produced by multi-pass warm rolling of the amorphous powder at temperatures in the supercooled liquid region. Process variables for rolling of the bulk amorphous strips were properly controlled to prevent onset of crystallization and failure during rolling up to three passes. During rolling of the amorphous powder, both the deformation and densification took place and the newly developed surface on the deformed amorphous particles enhances the consolidation leading to an increase in the strength. The strain state during rolling was analyzed by FEM.

  • Static restoration during hot interrupted deformation of 304 stainless steel was studied in the temperature range from 900 to 1100$^{\circ}C$ under various strain rate of 0.05∼ 5/sec and pass strain of 1/4∼3 times peak strain. The static restoration was dependent on the pass strain, deformation temperature and strain rate. Fractional softening(FS) values increased with increasing strain rate, deformation temperature and pass strain. Recystallization kinetics was well explained by the Avrami equation and the time for 50% recrystallization was evaluated using equation of t0.5=2.01${\times}$10-10$\varepsilon$-.156$\varepsilon$ -0.81Dexp(196.66/RT)
