The aim of this research was to study the structural and rheological properties of gels formed by ferulated maize bran arabinoxylans (MBAX) at different concentrations. MBAX was cross-linked by a laccase leading to the formation of dimers and trimers of ferulic acid (di-FA, tri-FA) as covalent cross-link. An increase in MBAX gels elasticity (from 11 to 20 Pa) as well as lower mesh size (from 80 to 48 nm) were obtained by augmenting the MBAX concentration from 2.5 to 3.5%(w/v), respectively, but no increase in di-FA and tri-FA content was obtained (0.03 and 0.014 ${\mu}$g/mg MBAX, respectively).

On maturation of abalone KIKUCHI'S concept of accumulative temperature expressed ${\Sigma}(t_i-{\theta})$ have been apply importantly for an anniversary spawning of the animals. In case of Haliotis discus hannai he was formulated ${\Sigma}(t_i-7.6)>1300$. This expression is able to modify by UKI'S the relationship between the daily feeding rate ($\%$) (Y) ana temperature ($^{\circ}C$) (t) expressed Y= 0.4291 t-0.1501. The modified expression is as the formula ${\Sigma}(Y-3.05)>570$. And the concept its meaning involves is replaced with accumulative ingestion instead of accumulative temperature. This modified concept is understood that on maturation of abalone temperature decide on satiation level, food ingestion decide on gonad maturity rate.

The Nilsson model was used to predict energy levels of $^{53}$ Mn without taking band mixing into consideration. The results were compared with the experimental levels and the predictions with band mixing of Malik ana Scholz. In both cases, with band mixing and without band mixing, the theoretical fit to experimental results is fair only for a few low-tying levels. However, it is found that the present calculation fits rather better to experiment than the band mixing calculation as far as higher levels are concerned.

The purpose of this study was to identfy the relationship between the body image adjustment of daily life. 58 subjects who had undergone radical mastectomy or modified radical mastectomy from 1979 to April 1984 at Seoul National University Hospital were selected as a sample and used for a final analysis. Finding of this study were as follows; 1) The relationship between the body image and the adjustment of daily life were significant differences. The body image is more positive, the adjustment of daily life is bet-ter. However, the cause-effect relationship was not found in this study. (p<0.05) 2) There were no significant differences in the body image between the right side mastectomy and left side mastectomy, between the radical mastectomy and modified radical mastectomy between those who had occupation and those who did not have occupation, and between the level of education. 3) There was no significant correlation between the body image and age, between the body image and elapsed time after surgery.

AiPi technology incorporates an embedded clock and control scheme with a point-to-point bus topology, achieving the smallest possible number of interface lines between a timing controller and source drivers. A 46" AiPi-based 10-bit FHD prototype requires only 20 interface lines, compared to 38 lines for mini-LVDS. The measured maximum data rate per one data pair is more than 800Mbps.

Design optimization of a transonic compressor rotor (NASA rotor 37) using response surface method and three-dimensional Navier-Stokes analysis has been carried out in this work. Baldwin-Lomax turbulence model was used in the flow analysis. Three design variables were selected to optimize the stacking line of the blade. Data points for response evaluations were selected by D-optimal design, and linear programming method was used for the optimization on the response surface. As a main result of the optimization, adiabatic efficiency was successfully improved. Ana, it is found that the design process provides reliable design of a turbomachinery blade with reasonable computing time.

53 patients of previously untreated Stage I&II Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in head and neck treated with irradiation at Yonsei Cancer Center from January, 1970 to December, 1978 were retrospectively analysed. 5 year survival rate and 5 year disease free survival rate were $51.5\%\;and\;42\%$. Local control rate by irradiation was $92.4\%$ with mainly $4,000\~6,000$ rads. 21 patients suffered relapses after radiotherapy, 4 cases recurred within irradiated area, 4 cases at contiguous site of irradiation field, and 13 cases recurred at distant area, more commonly below diaphragm. Most cases relapsed within 1 year 6 months after treatment. Optimum irradiation field for head and neck localized lymphoma, prognostic factors ana usefulness of chemotherapy are also discussed.

Orbital TIG welding process being used fur the new construction, the repair of nuclear piping system ana other critical piping. When weld quality is important or there are a large number of similar weld to be made or when access is restricted with manual torch, Orbital TIG welding is most effective process because of practical for out-of-position and high weld quality. Furthermore, typically superior to manual TIG welding process where the pipe remains in place and the tungsten electrode orbits the weld. As smaller and more compact welding head is being developed, could operate in tight spaces and lend itself to this type of application better than any other welding process. Orbital TIG welding has become more and more field practical process.

This study was designed for the standard formulation of SULNONGTANG cooking method, I have performed a sensory evaluation and physical properties of conventional SULNONGTANG and Market SULNONGTANG. The results were as follows : 1. In case of conventional method, in term of the addition of ingredients, to maintain optimal nutrition and to achieve good appearance and taste from sliced meat (Pyoun Yuk) of the beef's head, brisket, tongue ana breast, the followings are recommended cooking methods 1) For beef's leg bones, lead, knee bones and tripe, it is reasonable to addition from the beginning and to boil them for 12~18 hours. 2) Sliced meat from the head should be prepared after 4 hours boiling. 3) Brisket, tongue and breast should be added 2 hours before cooking is finished. 2. In Market SULNONGTANG, taste was poorer than that of conventional SULNONGTANG. When the head is added to Market SULNONGTANG, taste was more desirable than those added hooves or knee bones.

In man, ornithine carbamyl transferase is localized mainly in the liver and to a lesser extent in the smll intestine. Because of these findings, one might expect damage only to the liver or perhaps the small intestine to cause elevated ornithine carbamyl transferase activity in serum $(_S-OCT)$. Serum ornithine carbamyl transferase activity was determined in thirty normal subjects, and fifteen patients with viral hepatitis and fifteen patients with liver cirrhosis. The correlation of $_S-OCT$ with $_S-GPT$ and $_S-GOT$ was studied. The mean $_S-OCT$ activity in thirty normal Korean subjects was $0.094{\pm}0.043$I.U./L of serum. Elevated $_S-OCT$ activity was observed in patients with liver disease. The correlation coefficient was 0.18 for $_S-OCT$ and $_S-GPT$, ana 0.40 for $_S-OCT$ and $_S-GOT$.
