Precipitation and Precipitate Coarsening Behavior According to Nb Addition in the Weld HAZ of a Ti-containing Steel (Nb의 첨가에 따른 Ti 첨가 저합금강 용접열영향부에서의 석출물 거동 변화)

  • The effect of Nb addition on the precipitation and precipitate coarsening behavior was investigated in Ti and Ti + Nb steel weld HAZ. A dilatometer equipped with a He-quenching system was used to simulate the weld thermal cycle. Compared to $TiC_yN_{1-y}$ precipitate in a Ti containing steel, $Ti_xNb_{1-x}C_yN_{1-y}$ complex particle with addition of Nb is precipitated in a Ti + Nb containing steel. Meanwhile, precipitate coarsening occurred more easily in Ti + Nb steel, which may be because the high temperature stability of $Ti_xNb_{1-x}C_yN_{1-y}$ complex particle is deteriorated by the Nb addition.

  • $(Sr_{1-x}{\cdot}Ca_x)TiO_3+yNb_2O_5$($0.05{\leq}x{\leq}0.2$, 0.004$1350[^{\circ}C]$ in a reducing atmosphere($N_2$ gas). Dielectric propertries were investigated with contents of $Nb_2O_5$. The grain size and dielectric constant increase with increase $Nb_2O_5$, but decrease in $Nb_2O_5$ exceed($Nb_2O_5=0.6[mol%]$). Also, the temperature characteristics of the dielectric loss factor exhibited a stable value within 0.5[%]. The capacitance characteristics appeals a stab]e value in ${\pm}10[%]$.

  • 본 연구에서는 $Fe_2O_3$를 첨가한 $Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-Pb(Zr_xTi_{1-x})O_3$ 세라믹스에서 Zr/Ti 비 변화에 따른 소결 및 압전, 유전특성을 조사하였다. $0.4Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-0.6Pb(Zr_xTi_{1-x})O_3$+0.25Wt% $Fe_2O_3$ 계에서 Zr/(Ti+Zr)비(x)를 0.39에서 0.42까지 변화시킨 조성을 1100 - $1250^{\circ}C$ 온도에서 2시간 소결하여 이의 결정구조 및 미세조직을 분석하였고, 압전, 유전 특성 및 RAINBOW 액츄에이터로의 응용을 조사하였다. $1150^{\circ}C$에서 소결한 0.405 조성(x)에서 유전상수(${\varepsilon}r$) = 4669, 전기기계결합계수(kp) = 0.75, 압전상수($d_{33}$) = 810 pC/N의 우수한 특성 값을 나타내었으며, 닥터블레이드법에 의해 RAINBOW 액츄에이터를 제작하여 변위특성을 조사하였다.

  • (1-x)(Na,K)$NbO_3$-xBa(Zr,Ti)$O_3$ lead free piezoelectric ceramics were synthesized to enhance the piezoelectric properties of (Na,K)$NbO_3$. The synthesis and sintering method were the conventional solid state reaction method and general sintering method in air atmosphere. We report the improved piezoelectric properties in the perovskite structure composed of the NKN and BZT ceramics. We investigated the effects of NKN, BZT on the structural and electrical properties of the NKN-BZT ceramics. The NKN-BZT ceramics show good performance with piezoelectric constant $d_{33}$=155pC/N. The results reveal that (1-x)(Na,K)$NbO_3$-xBa(Zr,Ti)$O_3$ ceramics are promising candidate materials for lead-free piezoelectric application.

  • 0.96$(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3$-0.04$(Ba_{(1-x)}Sr_x)TiO_3$ lead free piezoelectric ceramics were synthesized to enhance the piezoelectric properties of (Na,K)$NbO_3$. The systhesis and sintering method were the conventional solid state reaction method and general sintering method in air atmosphere. The polymorphic phase transition(PPT) was observed at all composition(0 $\leq$ x $\leq$ 0.05) when $(Ba_{(1-x)}Sr_x)TiO_3$ were added in the $(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3$. As Sr concentration was increased, grain size, dielectric loss(tan$\delta$) and mechanical quality factor($Q_m$) were decreased and piezoelectric constant($d_{33}$) and electromechanical coupling factor($k_p$) were increased within a limited value. The optimized piezoelectric and properties, $d_{33}$, $k_p$, $Q_m$, and tand, of 0.96$(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3$-0.04$(Ba_{(1-x)}Sr_x)TiO_3$ were 139 pC/N, 0.31 %, 95, 0.04 at the composition of x=0.04.

Improved Photolysis of Water from Ti Incorporated Double Perovskite Sr2FeNbO6 Lattice

  • The Ti incorporation at Fe-site in the double perovskite lattice of $Sr_2FeNbO_6$ (SFNO) system is studied. The Ti concentration optimization yielded an efficient photocatalyst. At an optimum composition of Ti as x = 0.07 in $Sr_2Fe_{1-x}Ti_xNbO_6$, the photocatalyst exhibited 2 times the quantum yield for photolysis of $H_2O$ in presence of $CH_3OH$, than its undoped counterpart under visible light (${\lambda}{\geq}420nm$). Heavily Ti-doped $Sr_2Fe_{1-x}Ti_xNbO_6$ lattice exhibited poor photochemical properties due to the existence of constituent impurity phases as observed in the structural characterization, as well as deteriorated optical absorption. The higher electron-density acquired by n-type doping seem to be responsible for the more efficient charge separation in $Sr_2Fe_{1-x}Ti_xNbO_6$ (0.05 < x < 0.4) and thus consequently displays higher photocatalytic activity. The Ti incorporated structure also found to yield stable photocatalyst.

  • 본 연구에서는 xPb(Zn$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_{3}$-yBa(Zn$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_{3}$-zPbTiO(0.50.leq.x.leq.0.60, 0.10.leq.y.leq.0.20, 0.20.leq.z.leq.0.40)세라믹을 1050.deg.C에서 2시간동안 유지시켜 일반소성법으로 제작하였다. 시편 제작시 조성은 조성변태 상경계부근을 선택하였으며 Ba(Zn$_{1}$3/ Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_{3}$ 고용량에 따른 purochlore상의 억제 및 그 영향을 조사하고 구조적, 유전적 및 압전적 특성을 측정하였다. X-선 회절분석 및 미세구조의 관찰 결과, Ba(Zn$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_{3}$의 고용량에 따라 pyrochlore상 및 미반응 물질등은 억제되어 0.20mol 고용된 시편에서는 균질한 perovskite상이 형성되었다. Ba(Zn$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_{3}$의 고용량이 증가함에 따라 유전상수는 증가하여 0.50PZN-0.20BZN-0.30PT시편의 경우 6880.9의 높은 값을 나타내었으며 정전용량의 온도계수는 감소하여 0.383[%/.deg.C]의 양호한 값을 나타내었다. 큐리온도는 PbTiO$_{3}$의 고용량이 0.20mol에서 0.40mol로 증가함에 따라 30.deg.C에서 170.deg.C로 증가하였다. 전기기계 결합계수 (K$_{p}$), 기계적 품질계수(Qm) 및 압전전하 계수 (d$_{33}$)는 조성변태 상경계 부근의 조성에서 크게 나타났으며 0.60PZN-0.15BZN-0.25PT 시편의 경우 각각 58.5%, 120.5, 150x$10^{-12}$[C/N]의 값을 나타내었다.다.다.

Dielectric Properties and Phase Transformation of Poled <001>-Oriented Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3 Single Crystals (분극된 <001> 방위 Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3 단결정의 유전 특성 및 상전이)

  • The dielectric properties and phase transformation of poled <001>-oriented $Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-x%PbTiO_3$(PMN-x%PT) single crystals with compositions of x = 20, 30, and 35 mole% are investigated for orientations both parallel and perpendicular to the [001] poling direction. An electric-field-induced monoclinic phase was observed for the initial poled PMN-30PT and PMN-35PT samples by means of high-resolution synchrotron x-ray diffraction. The monoclinic phase appears from $-25^{\circ}C$ to $100^{\circ}C$ and from $-25^{\circ}C$ to $80^{\circ}C$ for the PMN-30PT and PMN-35PT samples, respectively. The dielectric constant (${\varepsilon}$)-temperature (T) characteristics above the Curie temperature were found to be described by the equation$(1/{\varepsilon}-1/{\varepsilon}_m)^{1/n}=(T-T_m)/C$, where ${\varepsilon}_m$ is the maximum dielectric constant and $T_m$ is the temperature giving ${\varepsilon}_m$, and n and C are constants that change with the composition. The value of n was found to be 1.82 and 1.38 for 20PT and 35PT, respectively. The results of mesh scans and the temperature-dependence of the dielectric constant demonstrate that the initial monoclinic phase changes to a single domain tetragonal phase and a to paraelectric cubic phase. In the ferroelectric tetragonal phase with a single domain state, the dielectric constant measured perpendicular to the poling direction was dramatically higher than that measured in the parallel direction. A large dielectric constant implies easier polarization rotation away from the polar axis. This enhancement is believed to be related to dielectric softening close to the morphotropic phase boundary.

Piezoelectric and Dielectric Properties of NaNbO3-LiNbO3 Ceramics according to the BaTiO3 Substitution (BaTiO3 치환에 따른 NaNbO3-LiNbO3 세라믹스의 압전 및 유전특성)

  • In this study, in order to develop the composition ceramics for lead-free ultrasonic motor, (1-x-0.09)$NaNbO_{3-x}BaTiO_3-0,09LiNbO_3$ ceramics were fabricated using a conventional mixed oxide process and their piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated according to the $BaTiO_3$ substitution. All the specimens showed orthorhombic phase structure without secondary phase, $BaTiO_3$ substitution enhanced density, dielectric constant(${\epsilon}_r$) and electromechanical coupling factor($k_p$), However, mechanical quality factor was deteriorated. Curie temperature of specimens was observed as about $380^{\circ}C$. At the $BaTiO_3$ substitution of 4 mol%, density, electromechanical coupling factor($k_p$), dielectric constant(${\epsilon}_r$) and piezoelectric constant($d_{33}$) of specimen showed the optimum value of $4.493g/cm^3$, 0.236, 175, 70 pC/N, respectively.

  • In this study, the structural, dielectric and piezoelectrical properties of $xPb(Mg_{1/2}W_{1/2})O_3-(1-x)[0.41Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-0.36PbTiO_3-0.23P Zr)_3]$ (x=0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04, 0.05) system ceramics were investigated. The dielectric constant ${\varepsilon_{33}}^{\tau}$ at loon temperature increased up to 3mol% PMW and decreased with further PMW content. The specimen with 1mol% $Pb(Mg_{1/2}W_{1/2})O_3$, which has the ${\varepsilon_{33}}^{\tau}=5509$, kp=59[%] and $d_{33}=758{\times}10^{-12}[C/N]$, exhibits good characteristics.
