Se-TiO2 지지체를 이용한 V/W/TiO2 NH3-SCR 촉매의 반응 특성 연구 (The Study of Reaction Characteristics of V/W/TiO2 Catalyst Using Se-TiO2 Support On NH3-SCR Reaction)

  • 본 연구는 질소산화물 제거를 위하여 암모니아를 환원제로 사용하는 선택적 촉매 환원법에 있어 지지체에 셀레늄을 첨가하여 300 ℃ 이하에서 V2O5/WO3/TiO2의 반응 활성을 증진시키기 위한 실험 및 반응특성 연구를 수행하였다. 졸-겔법으로 Se-TiO2 및 TiO2를 합성하였으며, 이를 지지체로 하여 V2O5/WO3/TiO2 및 V2O5/WO3/Se-TiO2 촉매를 제조하여 상용 촉매와 반응 활성을 비교하였다. 실험 결과, 졸-겔법으로 합성한 TiO2를 사용한 촉매의 탈질 효율이 상용 TiO2를 사용하여 제조한 촉매보다 낮은 결과를 보였으나 셀레늄을 첨가함에 따라 탈질 효율이 증진되었다. 따라서 BET, XRD, Raman, H2-TPR 및 FT-IR분석을 통하여 셀레늄의 첨가가 촉매의 구조에 미치는 영향을 분석하였으며 셀레늄 첨가에 의한 비표면적의 증가와 단량체 및 복합체 바나듐 종의 형성이 반응 특성에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다.

  • ZnSe, ZnSe:Ho/sup 3+/, Mg/sub x/Zn/sub 1-x/Se and Mg/sub x/Zn/sub 1-x/Se:Ho/sup 3+/ crystals were grown by the chemical transport reaction method. The crystal structures and optical energy band gaps of the single crystals were investigated. Their photoluminescence(PL) spectra were measured at 10 [K]. Sharp emission peaks in the blue-green wavelength range and broad emission peaks in the yellow-red wavelength range were observed. The single crystals doped with 1.0 [mol%] of holmium did not show the sharp emission peaks because of defects which were thought to be originated to the holmium dopant.

  • $O_3$, one of the air pollutants, has been related increasing morbidity rates due to respiratory damages. To investigate the effect of Ikgieum(益氣飮) on rats induced by exposur of $O_3$, an experimental study was done the changes on white blood cell(WBC), Erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR), $pCO_2$ and, $pO_2$ in Blood. The experimental groups are the Normal group, Control group and Sample group(administered Ikgieum to rats induced by exposur $O_3$). The results were as follows; 1. The change on WBC on rats induced by exposur of $O_3$ were made significant differences in Sample group compared with Cntrol group. 2. ESR were made is significant differences in Sample group compared with Control group. 3. $pCO_2$ and $pO_2$ were made significant differences in Sample group compared with control group.

  • 용해/분쇄법으로 제조한 n형 $Bi_2(Te_{0.9}Se_{0.1})_3$ 분말에 0.5 vol% $TiO_2$ 나노분말을 분산시켜 가압소결 후, $TiO_2$ 나노분말의 분산이 $Bi_2(Te_{0.9}Se_{0.1})_3$ 가압소결체의 열전특성에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. $Bi_2(Te_{0.9}Se_{0.1})_3$ 가압소결체는 $2.93{\times}10^{-3}/K$의 최대 성능지수 및 1.02의 최대 무차원 성능지수의 우수한 열전특성을 나타내었다. 0.5 vol% $TiO_2$ 나노분말의 첨가에 의해 $Bi_2(Te_{0.9}Se_{0.1})_3$ 가압소결체의 최대 성능지수가 $2.09{\times}10^{-3}/K$로 감소하였으며, 최대 무차원 성능지수는 0.68로 저하하였다.

회전형 원자층 증착기의 회전 속도에 따른 SnSe 분말 상 ZnO 박막 증착 (Rotation Speed Dependence of ZnO Coating Layer on SnSe powders by Rotary Atomic Layer Deposition Reactor)

  • The SnSe single crystal shows an outstanding figure of merit (ZT) of 2.6 at 973 K; thus, it is considered to be a promising thermoelectric material. However, the mass production of SnSe single crystals is difficult, and their mechanical properties are poor. Alternatively, we can use polycrystalline SnSe powder, which has better mechanical properties. In this study, surface modification by atomic layer deposition (ALD) is chosen to increase the ZT value of SnSe polycrystalline powder. SnSe powder is ground by a ball mill. An ALD coating process using a rotary-type reactor is adopted. ZnO thin films are grown by 100 ALD cycles using diethylzinc and H2O as precursors at 100℃. ALD is performed at rotation speeds of 30, 40, 50, and 60 rpm to examine the effects of rotation speed on the thin film characteristics. The physical and chemical properties of ALD-coated SnSe powders are characterized by scanning and tunneling electron microscopy combined with energy-dispersive spectroscopy. The results reveal that a smooth oxygen-rich ZnO layer is grown on SnSe at a rotation speed of 30 rpm. This result can be applied for the uniform coating of a ZnO layer on various powder materials.

마늘, Se 및 비타민 E가 동물영양에 미치는 효과 (Some Aspects of Dietary Garlic, Selenium and Tocopherol, in the Nutrition of Animal)

  • 마늘은 강장(强壯), 강정(强精) 식품으로 인정되어 왔으나 그 원인은 아직 미지이다. 여기에는 비타민 E와 밀접한 연관성이 있는 Se 함유아미노산에 기인됨을 가정하고 병아리에 비타민 E, Se 및 마늘을 투여하여 각 장기에 대한 Se 의 함량을 조사하였다. 마늘을 투여한 동물은 Se 및 비타민 E와 Se 투여군보다 Se 함량이 많으며 특히 정소에는 수배이나 축적됨으로 정력제로 될수 있는 요인이 된다고 본다. 쥐에 Se를 $2\;{\mu}g/ml\;(Na_2SeO_3\;Na_2SeO_4)$ 투여하여 성장 및 생존에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. Se 투여군에서 숫쥐는 성장 및 치사에 영향이 없지만 암쥐는 성장이 훨씬 저하되었다. 본 실험결과 마늘이 정력제에 작용을 하는 것은 Se 함유 아미노산 함량이 풍부함으로 이것이 비타민 E의 작용과 같이 불임(不姙)을 막고 노쇠한 모세혈관을 회복시키는 역할을 상승시켜 주는 것으로 간주된다. 여기서는 Se, 비타민 E, 마늘에 대한 동물의 기능에 영향을 관찰 한 것을 보고 한다.

가시광 수소생산용 CdSe/ZnO nanorod 투명전극 (CdSe Sensitized ZnO Nanorods on FTO Glass for Hydrogen Production under Visible Light Irradiation)

  • The ZnO is able to produce hydrogen from water however it can only absorb ultraviolet region due to its 3.37eV of wide band gap. Therefore efficiency of solar hydrogen production is low. In this work we report investigation results of improved visible light photo-catalytic properties of CdSe quantum dots(QDs) sensitized ZnO nanorod heterostructures. Hydrothermally vertically grown ZnO nanorod arrays on FTO glass were sensitized with CdSe by using SILAR(successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction) method. Morphology of grown ZnO and CdSe sensitized ZnO nanorods had been investigated by FE-SEM that shows length of $2.0{\mu}m$, diameter of 120~150nm nanorod respectively. Photocatalytic measurements revealed that heterostructured samples show improved photocurrent density under the visible light illumination. Improved visible light performance of the heterostructures is resulting from narrow band gap of the CdSe and its favorable conduction band positions relative to potentials of ZnO band and water redox reaction.

Effect of Ultrathin Al2O3 Layer on TiO2 Surface in CdS/CdSe Co-Sensitized Quantum Dot Solar Cells

  • In order to enhance the photovoltaic property of the CdS/CdSe co-sensitized quantum dot sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs), the surface of nanoporous $TiO_2$ photoanode was modified by ultrathin $Al_2O_3$ layer before the deposition of quantum dots (QDs). The $Al_2O_3$ layer, dip-coated by 0.10 M Al precursor solution, exhibited the optimized performance in blocking the back-reaction of the photo-injected electrons from $TiO_2$ conduction band (CB) to polysulfide electrolyte. Transient photocurrent spectra revealed that the electron lifetime (${\tau}_e$) increased significantly by introducing the ultrathin $Al_2O_3$ layer on $TiO_2$ surface, whereas the electron diffusion coefficient ($D_e$) was not varied. As a result, the $V_{oc}$ increased from 0.487 to 0.545 V, without appreciable change in short circuit current ($J_{sc}$), thus inducing the enhancement of photovoltaic conversion efficiency (${\eta}$) from 3.01% to 3.38%.

유기수은의 신경독성에 대한 셀레늄의 보상작용 (Interaction of Sodium Selenite on Neurotoxicity Induced by Methylmercuric Chloride)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the mechanism of protective effect by sodium selenite in methylmercuric chloride neurotoxicity, increasing intracellular $Ca^{2+}$concentration of the neuron. Methylmercuric chloride of 3mg/kg of body weight was administered simultaneously with sodium selenite of 5mg/kg and pretreatment of sodium selenite via intraperitoneal injection to rats. Also, effect of methylmercuric chloride($25{\mu}M,\;50{\mu}M,\;100{\mu}M$) and sodium selenite($200{\mu}M$) on free intrasynaptosomal $Ca^{2+}$ concentration were studied using the fluorescent $Ca^{2+}$ indicator fura -2 in vitro. After the treatment, at 6, 24, and 48 hours later, mercury in the cerebral cortex, liver and kidney tissues, succlnic dehydrogenase activities, adenosin-5'-triphosphate concentration, acetylcholinesterase activities, and intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentration in the cerebral cortex were determined in vivo. Cerebral synaptosomes of rats were incubated with methylmercuric chloride and sodium selenite in Hepes buffer for 10 minutes and free intrasynaptosomal $Ca^{2+}$ concentration were measured with fura-2 in vitro. The results were summarized as follows ; 1. The combined administration of $CH_3HgCl$ and $Na_2SeO_3$ and pretreatment of $Na_2SeO_3$ according to time significantly more increased in the cerebral cortex and decreased in the liver, kidney mercury concentrations compared to the administration of $CH_3HgCl$ only. 2. The combined administration of $CH_3HgCl$ and $Na_2SeO_3$ and pretreatment of $Na_2SeO_3$ increased more succinic dehydrogenase and acetylcholinesterase activities compared to the administration of $CH_3HgCl$ only. Particularly pretreatment of $Na_2SeO_3$ significantly more compared to the administration of $CH_3HgCl$ only. The concentration of adenosine-5'-triphosphate in $Na_2SeO_3$ treatment groups revealed a favourable effect compared to the administration of $CH_3HgCl$ only. 3. Intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentration in administration of $CH_3HgCl$ only was increased significantly more than control group in all test hours but was increased significantly more at 48 hours only after treatment in combined administration of $CH_3HgCl$ and $Na_2SeO_3$ and pretreatment of $Na_2SeO_3$ according to time interval more decreased significantly intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentration compared to the administration of $CH_3HgCl$ only. 4. Free intrasynaptosomal $Ca^{2+}$ concentration in the combined administration of $CH_3HgCl$ and $Na_2SeO_3$ was decreased ($24%{\sim}40%$) significantly more than the administration of $CH_3HgCl$ only. From the above results, the specific dosage of $Na_2SeO_3$ decreased increment of intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentration induced by administration of $CH_3HgCl$. These findings suggest the protective mechanism of $Na_2SeO_3$ on the neurotoxicity of $CH_3HgCl$.

분광타원법을 이용한 ZnSe 자연 산화막의 유전율 함수에 관한 연구 (Study on dielectric function of natural ZnSe oxide by spectroscopic ellipsomety)

  • 분광타원법을 이용하여 상온에서 ZnSe의 유전율 함수를 측정하였다. 순수한 ZnSe의 유전율 함수를 얻기 위해서 적절한 화학적인 식각법을 행함으로써 시료표면의 산화막을 제거하였고, 그 결과 이전에 보고된 것보다 더 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있었으며, 또한 이전의 산화막 제거 방법에 문제가 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 산화막을 제거하기 전의 유사 유전율 함수와 그것을 수행한 후의 유전율 함수에 대해 브루그먼 유효매질 어림이론을 사용하여 비정질 Se, $GaAsO_3$, void 등의 물질을 조합함으로써 ZnSe 자연 산화막의 유전율 함수를 결정하였다.
